Dressing Room
Natasha brings Steve to the mall because they each need a new outfit for a gala.
"Natasha I don't understand why I need a new suit. I have a tux already." Steve said as Natasha dragged him into the mall.
"You've had the same tux since before you went into the ice Steve. It's time for a new one." Natasha said, rolling her eyes.
Steve sighed and frowned as Natasha led them towards a suit shop. As soon as they entered, Natasha began piling suits into Steve's arms. Different colors, materials, and styles all were in his dressing room by the time she was finishing browsing.
"Nat do I really need to try all this on?"
Natasha nodded. "Quit complaining and start undressing Rogers, you've got a lot of suits to get through."
Steve sighed and walked into the dressing room, trying on his first suit.
"I don't like it." Steve said, walking out of the dressing room.
Natasha smirked, he didn't look bad in it, but the suit definitely wasn't his normal style.
"Try another one." She said, laughing a little as Steve frowned at himself in the mirror.
"This is better." Steve said coming out of the dressing room again.
"Steve that literally looks excactly like the one you already have. Where did you even find that one? I didn't pick it out." Natasha said, furrowing her eyebrows.
Steve sighed. "I like this one."
"It's boring. Try a new one." Natasha told Steve, giving him a light push back into the dressing room.
"What do you think?" Steve asked, coming back out.
Natasha smiled. "Not bad. Looks very Captain America-ish. Maybe a little too red white and blue."
Steve turned around and walked back into the dressing room. Not even needing Natasha to tell him this time.
"Nat I really don't think any of these look good." Steve said.
Natasha's eyes widened and she scanned up and down Steve's body, "Are you kidding? That one looks great."
Steve frowned. "It's a little tight."
Natasha stood behind Steve and brushed her hand along Steve's bicep, "Excactly. You look handsome. If you don't go with this one I'm gonna be a little disappointed come the night of the gala."
Steve raised an eyebrow as Natasha wrapped her arms around his neck. "Yeah?"
She nodded. "Yeah."
Steve gently kissed Natasha and walked back into the dressing room. "Well then I guess we are going with this one."
They paid for Steve's suit and walked out of the shop, heading for one nearby that sold dresses.
"Where are we going?" Steve asked.
"I need a new outfit for the gala too. Mind helping me find it?"
Steve shook his head and followed Natasha as she grabbed a few dresses from the racks before going into a dressing room.
"Mind zipping me up?" She asked, looking at the dress in the mirror.
Steve nodded and quickly did so, trying his best not to stare at her. "You look amazing Nat." He said honestly.
Natasha smiled at him and shook her head, "It's not what I'm looking for."
Steve frowned and watched in confusion as she walked back into the dressing room. The last dress was great...what was wrong with it? He wondered, waiting patiently to see what she would wear next.
"Somehow you look even better." Steve said, looking at the dress.
Natasha still didn't look satisfied. "I can't wear white. I'm the black widow. That's too much irony," She said with a small laugh, "Mind unzipping me?"
Steve shook his head and did so, placing a few kisses on her shoulder as he did.
Natasha went back into the dressing room and came back out a few moments later with another dress.
Steve smiled at Natasha and shook his head in disbelief.
"What?" Natasha asked, trying to stop the smile forming on her lips.
"You could wear a trash bag and look beautiful." Steve said honestly.
Natasha laughed, "So your saying this dress looks like a trash bag?" She teased.
Steve blushed, "No! That's not what I meant."
"Relax Rogers. I'm joking. I don't like this one much anyways." She said, kissing him softly and retreating back into the dressing room.
Natasha looked in the mirror skeptically and Steve sighed, coming up behind her and placing his hands on her waist.
"Nat I don't know why you don't like any of these. They all look great. Especially this one. Plus you don't need a dress to make you look amazing." Steve said while pressing a kiss to her forehead.
Natasha sighed and rolled her eyes a bit at Steve's cheesy-ness. "Is this the dress you like?" She asked.
"Yes." Steve said honestly.
"Then I'll just get this one. It goes pretty well with your suit too." She said, thinking about it.
"So we're matching now?" Steve teased.
"No. We're just making sure that our outfits look alright together. It's our first event after making our relationship public. We have to make somewhat of a good impression." Natasha said with a grin.
Steve rested his forehead on Natasha's and smiled, "We will. Now let's pay for your dress and get out of here. I'm ready to go home."
Natasha smiled, "Me too. I think after trying on so many things I'm ready to not put anymore clothes on for a while."
Steve's cheeks turned red and he raised his eyebrows in shock. Natasha smirked and walked to the counter with her dress.
They paid and went back home quickly, trying on their new outfits one more time before helping each other undress for the final time that day.
