Lol so I said I wasn't going to do a part two but then like ten people requested it so I caved😂

Natasha had been pacing the medical wing for hours.

Steve was alive.

After four tortuous months of believing the man she loved was killed, he was in the other room, confused, but alive.

They hadn't let Natasha in since she brought him back.

He had been strapped to the bed in fear of him still being under Hydra's control, and they had forced her our of the room, despite her resistance.

She was watching through the small window when she saw them handcuff him to the bed with vibranium cuffs.

"What the hell is happening. Why is he cuffed? He isn't a threat," Natasha yelled as the doctors left the room, leaving Steve alone.

"Ms. Romanoff please. We aren't sure what control Hydra still has on him. It's just a precaution," The doctor replied.

Natasha followed closely behind him, "Let me see him."

"I'm sorry Agent. Until we can be sure he's himself, we can't allow visitors."

Natasha shook her head, "I can be sure he's himself. Now let me see him."

The doctor looked nervous now, "Ma'am..."

Luckily, Fury inturrupted him, "She's fine Doctor. If the Captain isn't himself, she can handle herself."

The doctor sighed, "Alright. Here's the key."

Natasha took the key and quickly unlocked the door to Steve's room/cell.

He looked up as she walked in and tried to sit down, only to remember that he was strapped to the bed.

"Hey," He said quietly.

Natasha sat down besides him and gave a weak smile, "Hey. How are you feeling?"

Steve shrugged, "A little dizzy. You hit me pretty hard."

Natasha laughed quietly, "Sorry, I had to knock some sense into you."

Steve chuckled and rested his head against the headboard, trying to get comfortable.

"Hold still for a second..."Natasha said, pulling a knife from her boot and slicing the thick straps that had been holding him down.

Steve's eyebrows furrowed, "What are you doing?"

"Getting you out of these damn bonds. You're Captain America, not a war prisoner--" She said, picking the lock on his handcuffs and smiling when they popped open. She rubbed his wrist gently and smiled, "There."

Steve smiled at her and sat up, "Thank you."

Natasha sighed and laid her head on his shoulder, "I missed you..."

Steve sighed and wrapped his arm around her, "I missed you too. For months, they tortured me. The only thing that kept me sane was thinking of you."

Natasha frowned and curled closer to him, "I thought I lost you forever."

Steve frowned and hugged her tighter, his hand running through her hair gently, "I'm sorry Nat. I never thought this would all happen."

Natasha shook her head, "Don't be sorry. You're alive. That's all I could ever ask."

Steve sighed, "When Tony pulled you away...I thought that I would never see you again. And then they dragged me back into their lab. I fought against it for so long. I don't even remember what they did to me. But the next thing I knew I was here and they told me I had been brainwashed by Hydra."

Natasha frowned, "I never should have left you."

Steve shook his head, "If you hadn't, neither of us would be here."

Natasha looked down, silence filling the room.

Steve frowned and lifted her chin gently, "Nat, you can't blame yourself for what happened."

"I did. For four months, I spent every day wondering if we could've saved you. All I could think about is how much you would have done if it was me.  You wouldn't have left me there. You wouldn't have left any of us there. Even if our pulse had stopped, you wouldn't have let our bodies go to Hydra."

Steve frowned, "You didn't choose to leave Natasha. I ordered Tony to get you out of there. He carried you away kicking and screaming."

Natasha shook her head, "I should've been stronger. If I was, I could've helped you."

"Nat please stop. We all make mistakes. But it doesn't matter anymore. You saved me back at that base. So we're both okay."

She nodded slowly, resting her head on his shoulder again and sighing.

"Did you mean what you said?" She asked quietly.

Steve's eyebrows furrowed, "What do you mean?"

Natasha looked up at him, worry and fear filling her eyes, but also trust, "The day I thought you died, you said you loved me."

Steve smiled and brushed a piece of hair from Natasha's face, "I do."

Natasha smiled, "Good."

"Did you mean it too?" Steve asked, suddenly nervous.

Natasha nodded, "I wouldn't have said it if I didn't."

Steve smiled, "Good." He said, mocking her.

Natasha laughed and shook her head, "Shut up."

He laughed and pulled her chin towards him, kissing her daintily.

She responded quickly, cupping his face in her hands and closing her eyes, trying to stretch out the moment.

Steve eventually pulled away and smiled at her softly, "I really, really, love you Natasha. I don't ever want to leave you again."

Natasha smiled, resting her forehead against his, "I love you too. Just promise you won't die on me again...okay?"

Steve laughed quietly, pecking her lips softly, "I'll do my best."

Natasha rolled her eyes and stood up, "Come on."

Steve frowned, "Where are we going?"

"To my room. You're not under Hydra's control anymore so there's no need for you to be stuck in this damn cell. Plus, we've got some catching up to do," Natasha said, casting Steve a smirk.

Steve shook his head but followed behind her anyways, "Fury is gonna kill us."

Natasha shrugged, "He'll get over it."

Steve laughed and followed Natasha blindly as she led them to the elevator.

"You'll be the death of me Natasha." He whispered as she pushed him against the wall and placed light kisses down her jaw.

She laughed, "That better be a joke, because the next time you die, I'm not saving you."

Steve shook his head and laughed quietly, kissing her passionately as they stumbled down the hallway.

Maybe he had been Hydra's Captain, but now he was all Natasha's, and it was more than fine by him.
