"Where's Ana?" Romano asks as he steps in his office to find Ana's chair empty.

"She went home"

"Home? Why?" he frowns as he pulls his phone out.

"That is what humans do when their day is off, Rom" Rafael replies as he types in his laptop.

"I asked her to wait for me" he sighs as he walks out without hearing Rafael's reply as he gets on the elevator.

Ana groans as she lies on the bed feeling pain all over her body as Rom had manhandled her when he tried to save her from his sister and she could not even be mad at him as he did not even know, what he did.

The ring on her phone makes her groan in annoyance as she could not pick it up, if she did Rom would definitely know something was wrong with her and if she did not, he would know something was wrong, both ways she was fucked.

Ignoring the call, she turns to her good side and closes her eyes to take a rest hoping she can be able to go to work tomorrow or Rom would not make a fuss if she takes one day leave.

Ana opens her eyes slowly and blinks to find the room dark, she stiffens as she feels someone breathing beside her, slowly turning around she finds a man laying beside so she closes her eyes knowing who he was and the fact that she was not in her room, as her bed was not big enough to hold not just Rom but with both of them in it.

"You know..." she starts.

"Shut it, babe, first you broke the promise of having dinner together, second you ignored my calls and third you did not even said shit about you being hurt" his growl makes her sit up.

"Rom, your habit of...." She stops as the room blares with light and she tries to adjust to the brightness.

"Mine habit? Let's have a deep discussion on yours" he narrows his eyes at her.

"I..."

"You were hurt and no less by me and not just to pretend you were okay you went to far by ignoring my calls. That is uncalled for, Ana. I hurt you in anyways you give that to me in my face and not pretend you are fine, fine Ana, you were not fine" he scolds and she sighs.

"I get hurt and I get scolded, yep I can see how this relation will work"

"You need to let me take care of you for his relation to work, Ana. You are fragile, I can touch you wrong and hurt you and I need to know if I hurt you" he moves to cup her face as he stares at her as if he was the one in pain.

"It's just some bruises" she whispers as she touches his shoulder.

"I want pleasure bruises in your body, Ana not the painful ones, you don't understand how much it hurt to see you in pain laying in your bed" he breathes closing his eyes as he joins his forehead with hers.

"Nothing I can handle"

"A woman should never handle pain alone and I want you to promise me that if ever I hurt you without knowing you will tell me"

"So, you mean you won't hurt me knowingly?" she teases as she puts her hand on the back of his neck.

"Never Ana, never" he shakes his head and she smile.

"Promise?" she asks.

"Promise, babe" he vows as she seals the deal with a kiss.

Ana frowns as she looks around Rom's room before she walks out to where he was. She walks in the kitchen to find him sipping his coffee.

"What is my drawer doing in your room?" she asks and the smile he gives her makes her narrow her eyes.

"Rom" she groans.

"Well, I was just being thoughtful. You would need fresh underwear and clothes which are important to a girl" he grins and she looks around the room and his eyes widens as she grabs a vase.

"Do not dodge" she warns throwing it towards him and he stops the vase letting it float mid-air.

"Rom" she shouts at him in anger.

"You said not to dodge"

"Well then let it hit you" she snaps as she looks around for another object but he just makes everything fly around which irritates her as she jumps up and down to grab something to hit him while Rom just grins watching her jump and in doing so her breasts moves very enticingly while her back is showcased to him.

"I think I will move your entire apartment here just to rile you and get the view I am getting" he states and Ana stops as she narrows her eyes before she realizes that she was half naked.

"I cannot believe you" she groans as she turns and walks to her room as he follows.

Ana squeals when she feels herself getting lifted up in Rom's arm, he walks them towards the bed before letting her down, without a word he starts to pull her clothes up.

"Rom, we are..."

"Ssh" he hushes as he touches her bruised skin and Ana stiffens at his touch before relaxing as he heals her bruises with just a touch of his hand.

"Maybe I should use you to clear all my dark spots and marks" she teases making him look up from her hip to her eyes.

"Why?" he frowns making her smile.

"Because it makes me look ugly" she replies to which he chuckles.

"Then I will never help you"

"Rom, you were supposed to say you are not ugly, Ana" she chides making him burst in laughter.

"Well, I want you to feel ugly and look ugly for the world, Ana so you always feel lucky to have me and every other guy looking at you will look past you, why would I change something that benefits me"

"That's not nice" she hits on his chest.

"I am not known to be one" he grins as be covers her body with his.

"Rom" she gulps.

"Rest" he drops a kiss on top of her head as he moves away and Ana wonders how long will she able to resist his charm.

"Heard you took a mate" Romano stops walking at the voice as he turns to find a grinning Dante staring at him.

"And what has that to do with you?" Romano asks before he continues to walk.

"Jut curious, how can you just be happy with one when you can have many options available?" he teases.

"You are still not grown Dante, when you see the one, you find the one, you will know within your cold heart that no other can make it beat like she will" he states and Dante gags.

"I think I got diabetes" he groans and Rom punches on his arm.

"I will watch you get one when you find her" Rom teases and Dante grins.

"No one can tame me, dude. I will forever enjoy the freedom I have, with my wings out, flying high carefree" he points.

"You forgot you add swinging your dick too" Adrian grumbles as he walks past them.

"Maybe he is the one who needs a mate" Dante grumbles as he skips to annoy Adrian.

"Come closer and I will hang you on the wall" Adrian warns making Dante halt.

"You know the way you treat me it's kind of hurting my heart"

"Let him punch a hole in your chest and take that hurting heart out" Rom grins making Dante glare at him.

"The council is doing fuck" Adrian snarls as he throws the report on the table.

"We are gathering as much intel as we can, Ad. We are low on men" Dante sighs.

"How much men do you even need to grab one man? There has been mysterious murder on going, no trace, no track. We created the council so we can protect our kind, bring rules and discipline"

"We know, but with witches against us, we are not getting any information. We vampires need memories and smell to hunt someone but that is what limiting us. The packs we are getting help from refuses to leave their pack or their mates for more than few days"

"We need to find out who is doing all the killings before our people start to go wary about each other and if that happened or if the war broke out between us, we will not see a bright day" Adrian puts in.

"I will go on the hunt myself" Dante states.

"I will add more wolves for the search" Adrian agrees before he eyes Rom.

"I will negotiate with the witches, see if I can get through them to meet us" Rom points as they discuss on few more things before they go their own ways.

Rom walks in his house to find Ana laying on the couch watching the TV, she sits up when as their eyes meet.

"Enjoying the day off?" he asks making her smile.

"Your fridge is empty" she comments making him frown.

"Shit, did you eat?" he asks making her laugh.

"Thank god for online delivery" she points and he curses as he walks to where she was and drops a kiss on her head apologizing.

"Okay, come on, we are going grocery shopping" he grabs her hand.

"Rom, we don't have to, you don't eat much and I will be back home" she states.

"Who said you are leaving?"

"Rom, seriously I cannot stay with you in here, forever"

"Of course, you can, no arguments" he pulls her towards his room to change.

"We need green items" Rom mumbles as he pushes the cart filled with things.

"No, we don't Rom, I cannot eat all of this all alone"

"Then we will eat together"

"This is more than enough for both of us" she points.

"But I plan to weight you up no next time I hold you tight it's all meat and no bruises" he teases.

"Are you saying I underweight?" she narrows her eyes.

"I love that world, under my weight"

"Rom"

"No babe, you are just fine like fine with everything capital" he bumps his hip to her.

"There is not space in the fridge" Ana sighs as she stares at the stocked fridge and to the things still out of the counter.

"Hmm, I think we need a bigger one" he comments making her laugh.

"At cases like this we buy less Rom and you have a fridge bigger than my closet"

"See, that's why I say we need to go shopping too because mine closet is very empty and lonely waiting for yours to come stay with it. Imagine my boxers next to your lingerie, sounds so perfect"

"You are unbelievable" she groans pushing him away but he wraps his arms around her waist standing behind her.

"Believe that I am real" he whispers as he kisses the back of her head.

Ana passes the plate to Rom before she goes to sit beside him on the floor enjoying their dinner, he grins as he watches her open the beer can and put on the table.

"And here I thought you were a Lady who I have to lure with expensive wine" he points.

"I hate beer but I hate to see it go waste, we have to hurry and finish everything so we can have more space in the fridge else the food at the counter will get spoilt" she points and he puts his arm around her neck pulling her close to him.

"You eat as much as you can, I don't care if it's spoilt, Ana, you should not get sick" he points making her sigh.

"See, this is why I asked you to not buy so much" she scolds him but he just kisses the side of her head in reply.

Ana smiles as she helps Rom into his coat before he turns around and she straightens his tie.

"All set" she announces making him sigh as he cups her face.

"I don't want to go alone" he whines.

"And I cannot accompany you" she points.

"I know, well it will bring me relief if you went to my home"

"Rom, we came with a deal, I stay two nights at your place and then others at mine"

"Okay, I will call when I am out of the party"

"Try to not over enjoy" she smiles as she hands him his phone.

"I will be missing you every second" he states before he kisses on her lips.

"Later" he cups her face before he walks away and she smiles watching him go.

Ana walks in her building making her way towards her apartment, she opens the room with a smile on her face as she steps in and moves her hand to on the light but a hand grabs her wrists making her scream as someone slams her on the door.

"Not a word" a man whisper from behind her.

"Who are you?" she asks as he pins her down.

"Your death" he grins making her shiver in fear as he licks the side of her neck.
