"You are finally here" I sighed as I looked at my son who just walked in.

"Yes, I got here immediately as fast as I could. I nearly thought something has happened to you" he sighed and looked at me deeply.

"Don't worry I am not that old to die so fast. I still have few more years to live. I have the desire to see my grandchildren getting married" I glared at him.

"Mother how can you curse yourself like that? You wrote in the letter that it was urgent and I had to go fast. At such situation what would I think?" He sat down on the chair next to me. I waved my hand to the maids and they immediately poured two cups of tea before withdrawing.

"When did you arrived?" I asked.

"Last night. It was raining heavily when I reached the temple gate. It was already late so I didn't want to disturb you. Yuvam received me in the hall and he prepared a room in advance" he picked up the tea cup before sipping.

"Yuvam is always sensible. He knows what to do when there is urgent matter" I nodded. "Don't you think you should start talking about his marriage. He is already over the age, it's the right time to marry him a wife"

"Mother it's not easy to find a good wife for him. This matter of marriage is too serious. There are many who want to wed their daughter to him but it's not like I could agree with everything" Sukar sighed.

"But we can't drag it all his life. You have to choose someone good for him. Don't tell me you are planning to send me to deathbed without having the chance to see my great grandchildren" I frowned at him.

His expression twitched "mother will you stop cursing? You know it well choosing a bride is a hard thing and also a serious matter. Besides it's not only about a marriage but the bride would be rulling beside Yuvam as a Queen in future. There are many girls but we can't let Yuvam feel that we wronged him. This matter is about his whole life"

"Well it sounds you are in difficult posting to take the task and want to keep in in pending for time being. But I am his grandmother and I know what best for him. I don't know about it but I have taken a liking to a young girl whom I think will be the perfect in both role of wife and queen" I picked up my tea cup and sipped the tea calmly.

"What?" He almost broke the cup whole placing on the table "mother, what are you talking about? You told me to hurry over here for this?" His eyes were wide as he looked at me. Shock was evident on his face.

"Why are you so shocked? I would never want my grandson to be in a difficult situation. I want best for him" I smiled.

"Mother, think over it. Just because we like it, we can't push it over Yuvam. His liking and disliking are most important"

"I know what I am doing. As I said earlier I would never harm my grandson I found the perfect bride for him. She is someone whom neither you nor Yuvam could able to ignore"

Suddenly his eyes lit up "are you that sure mother?"

I nodded, "there are many princesses visiting the temple this year. And I am glad I took the decision of coming here. The royalty of Sagala and Minnagara is also here. Abd with this few encounter we have get along well"

"Sagala and Minnagara? I wasn't expecting them to be here"

"Well you need to believe then. It's good that they are here. The great princess of Sagala is really a shocking character, I was so amazed by her. She is brave, courageous and also smart one. The way she handled the yesterday's matter it was really appropriated" I couldn't help but remember the incident.

"Mother is she the-"

"No, you need to rest for a while before I take you to see whom I have chosen for Yuvam" I smiled.

He sighed then nodded "since you are this excited I guess it won't be wrong to take a look"

Princess Nandini's POV

My breath stilled as I didn't dare to make a sound. In the front there was a small snake right accross me. It was loking at me which taking the place of circular surface of the wooden jacuzzi. I know if I make a move it will attack me. Thought it's size is small but this is the most poisonous snake which could kill it's opponents in a matter of few minutes. I was in a troubled situation, I couldn't move nor I could call for help and most worst I was naked under the water without any dagger. This temple was secure. For such a poisonous snake to slip in is impossible because I heard the temple has caretaker who cleans the bushes and plants now and then. They use some drugs to keep the insects or other poisonous things away from the visitors.

How I am going to deal with it now? I don't have any weapons to defend myself. What kind of situation I have fallen in? I cursed myself and looked at the snake again. It's focus was on me. It must be someone who brought it here with the intention of killing me. Such a vicious plan, who could do that?

I look at the snake closely. It has the fixed target and it was preparing to launch its attack towards me. I can see it clearly. I gritted my teeth as anger burnt in my heart.

I was not born to die so easily.

Clenching my fist under the water I focused my eyes on the snake. I need to distract it's attention or I won't have a single chance if it attacks and I might die without knowing the reason at all. I couldn't let them happen. I have to do something. I gritted my teeth.

"Princess do you need anything?' suddenly Hanna's voice sounded making the snake turn it's head towards the voice. I took the chance and moved towards the snake and pinched it's head while grabbing it trying to take under my control. The snake immediately wrapped it's small body on my wrist struggling but I didn't let it go. As long as I have it's hard in control it couldn't harm me.

I get out of the tub and grabbed the cloth Hanna prepared and hurried it wrapped it around me.

"Hanna, get me a box" I said.

"Box? Princess why do you need that?"

"Don't ask questions, just do what I asked you. Get me a narrow box, a small size would do" I told her getting annoyed.

"Yes" Hanna replied then there was a moment of silence before she spoke again "princess I got the box. Shall I come in"

"Come in"

As she walked in she said "princess are you done bath- ahhh...." She screamed with shock.

"Don't scream, hand me the box quickly" I said and she handed the box without wasting a second. I opened the lid and pushed the snake inside before closing it again. I sighed in relief. My body was sweating with coldness.

"Princess what was that? A snake? How come such poisonous thing came in? It wasn't there when I was filling the tub" Hanna still looked shocked.

"It didn't came in but it was brought here intentionally" I shook my head. "Looks like someone couldn't see me live so used such dangerous trick to me to avoid further investigation". Dying because of the snake bite was easy to handle. It was natural process and since it was forest type area so it was convenient for a snake to slip in.

"Princess someone tired to kill you? But why?" Hanna looked horrified.

I didn't offended anyone in the temple. Was it queen or Soma? But Soma's recent behaviour was too confusing and I couldn't put myself to accuse her. Could she be? But it was not easy for her to bring such a poisonous snake in the temple. This kind of thing could only be done by the professional or by those who has good fighting skills. As for Queen she wouldn't take such risk to kill me like this. Even though she is hateful she is tolerable. If they aren't the one then who could it be? I couldn't point out anything.

"Princess?" Hanna called again breaking my thoughts.

"We couldn't predict about enemies. It could be anyone. It's just right now that person is standing in shadows not showing itself. But there's always a way to know things. With such vicious attack, once I find the person I will return this big favour for sure.

I clenches my fist in anger. How dare they plot like this? They think killing me is easy and it would be accomplished without any problem. Does they think it was only them who eats food?

Bastards once I catch you, I will saw you what does it feel like fear.

"Let's go. Ask the maids to clean the water. I had enough bathing. We need to got out soon" I said before walking out.
