Chrys's Pov

"You made a big mistake coming here ruth!" I shouted at her. She glared at me. She walked forward towards me. I snarled a bit and activated my rose powers. "Stay away from me" I said to her. "Oh Chrys, I can easily stop you." She said to me. I was suddenly pinned against the wall by her shadows. I struggled to get out. Ruth stepped close to me, we are at eye level of each other.

"Get away from me" I said, growling at her. She just smirked, "Listen well Chrys. I came to give a warning to you. Someone from your past will be visiting you." I was release from her shadows after she said her statment. "Goodbye, fornow mudblood" she said. She faded from my view. I huffed and walked to the livingroom couch.

I sat down and watched tv for a while before doing my job to take care of my friends, my daughter and my fiancé. I yawned a bit as I made my way to Rose's and I's shared room. I walked in and shut the door lightly. I learned not to make any loud noises around Rose. She'll wake up and panic. It's sad to see Rose like this.

I heard her movement for a moment. Then it stopped after a bit. I walked over to her. She was awake, "Chrys?" "Hey, sorry if I woke you up..." I said to her. She looked at me and smiled a little, "I've been up for a while." "You should sleep Rose" I said to her. She shook her head and said, "I can't sleep without you beside me..."

I chuckled slightly and layed beside her. "I was just coming to bed to sleep" I said to her. She smiles a bit and cuddles close to me. I put an arm around her gently. I thought about Ruth's warning. "Someone from my past...?" I muttered to myself. "Hm? Did you say something Chrys?" Asked Rose.

"Yes, but its nothing important. Go to sleep" I said to her. She replied with a okay and good night before going to sleep. I combed my hand through her hair. Even though her hair had been cut she still looks beautiful with it this way. I thought about what Ruth did to them. I held in a growl, making sure I didn't wake Rose. I've been doing that alot lately.

I sighed a bit and shook my head. I felt Rose tense up. I looked at her, she was still asleep. I was confused as to why she's so tense till I felt her shaking in my arms. She was having a nightmare. I had to wake her before it got worse. I pulled away from her and shook her light. Being careful not to hurt her. "Rose, wake up" I said to her.

A hand came in contact with my face. I put a hand on my cheek and looked at Rose. She was staring at me with wide, scared eyes, "I-Im sorry Chrys I-I didn't know-" I cut her off by pulling her close to me, in a soft embrace. "It's okay Rose. You were having a nightmare, it's alright" I told her.

She buried her face in my chest. Rose whimpered and shook in fear. I rubbed her back gently. "It's okay Rose, your safe here. I'm here to protect you..." I said to her. I continued to soothe her till she fell asleep again. I continued to rub her back, until I too fell asleep.
