Chrys unlocked the lab door with the key Rose's mother, Burnette, gave her. The key broke after it was used. "Oh the key broke...I thought that only happens in video games..." Chrys said to Rose. "Is the door unlocked?" Rose asked her. "Yeah. But now we can't returned the key to Burnette...she'll think I'm irresponsible." Said Chrys. "Mother will understand. The key has served it's purpose." Said rose.

Chrys nodded and opened the door. They walked in and looked around the room. "Lets start looking" said Chrys. The duo walked around the room. Chrys looked at a poster, "Hey detective. Look at this poster. It's so cute" said Chrys. Rose looked over, "it is a nice poster. But we need to focus on the case." "But I want to take it home. It would looks good in my apartment!" Chrys said to rose.

"Romance cop, please refrain from stealing the poster." Said Rose. Rose turned around to look around again. Chrys but her lip then turn to the poster again. She reached up to grab it. "Romance cop, are you trying to steal the poster behind my back?" Asked rose. "No, I was just....uh...dusting it off!" Said Chrys to rose. Rose looked at her them turned to look at something.

After a few minutes of dealing with the poster. They found out the poster was a magical cat that belong to cupid. So they took it to return it to cupid. Chrys picked up a photo, "Hey is this your mom?" "Yes, and I believe that's Rosemary beside her." Said Rose, with a little frown. "Detective what's wrong?" Chrys asked her. "If one experiment cause me to turn out this way, I fear the effects of the other child are much more intense..." said Rose.

"Detective...you say that the way you turned out was a bad thing..." said Chrys. "...I wonder Sometimes, which part of me is due to circumstances surrounding my birth, and which part is my true self." She said to me. "Well that's easy! All of you is you!" I said to her. "Your very practical romance cop, in times of uncertainly, I'll remember your words" she said to me.

They continues investigating the lab. They soon gave up searching and stood near the door. Where a shadow figure stood watching them. "Well we looked everywhere. We got nothing useful. Only cupid cat gave us some info..." said Chrys to rose. "We should talk to my mother about this." Said rose.

Chrys noticed someone at the door, "Hey there someone there, hello! Do you have time to answer some questions?" Chrys asked the figure. The figure darted away. "Oh they fled" Chrys said. "That may be our lead. Let's go!" Rose said running after the figure. "Wh-detective?! Where did she get this much energy so early in the morning?" Chrys asked running after her.

Rose lost the figure as Chrys caught up to her. "I was hoping to have another chase scene with you detective..." Chrys said to Rose. Rose turned to Chrys, asking her about if she wanted to hear a paranormal encounter story. Chrys said no feeling all tense now. The two exited the building.

What they didn't know was the figure was watching them. The figure kept her eyes on Chrys mainly. She disappeared in the shadows.
