Lana Asfoor was content to live with the status quo and ignore her piling debt. Ignorance is bliss, right? Yet any ideas of playing things safe are thrown out the window when a charming, mysterious thief steals from her.

Risk taker Jack Hanscom, whose name coincidentally rhymes with handsome, soon takes her on an adventure to reclaim what was stolen. And Lana finds out it may be a little more complicated to get her life back to order when her heart may have also been stolen in the process.

"Stolen Hearts" is this delightful gem of a romantic comedy: if you happen to wander inside you'll find plenty of humor, heart, and a wee touch of mystery.

Lana Asfoor, a charming and relatable protagonist, finds her ordinary life turned upside down when a charismatic thief steals her heart, along with a valuable heirloom. (So he is both a literal AND a  metaphorical thief!)

The chemistry between Lana and Jack is undeniable, right off the bat. Their witty banter and playful rivalry spark a connection that quickly evolves into something deeper. The author, Jana S. Prahl captures this initial excitement and uncertainty of falling in love, but she doesn't stop there! She demonstrates all the challenges of navigating a complex relationship, too!.

One of the most endearing aspects of the book, I'd say, is the emphasis on personal growth and self-discovery. Lana's journey from a timid and cautious individual to a bold and confident woman is inspiring. Lana overcomes her fears, she learns to embrace risk, trust her instincts, and above all, believe in herself.

The author's vivid descriptions and witty dialogue bring the story to life. There is one thing I'd love to underline as well, and it's something not many books have: a perfect atmosphere. The Moroccan setting adds a touch of exoticism and adventure, while the underlying theme of family and friendship provides emotional depth and it all balances out so nicely.

To conclude, the book is truly a feel-good read that will leave you smiling, without a shred of a doubt. It's a perfect escape for anyone looking for a lighthearted and romantic story.

We are in December after all, and "Stolen Hearts" will make a delightful Christmas read. You'll feel warm and fuzzy inside, as this particular read is ideal for curling up with a blanket and a steaming cup of cocoa!

To the Author: This was such a cute book. It made me gasp and aww in all the right places, but it also surprised me so many times. You know, I wasn't expecting the adventure aspect, but I definitely enjoyed it.

So, uhm, how about that ending? The sudden appearance of the unknown man left me wanting for more. I felt as if that was a hint of a sequel?? o.O

If that is the case, I definitely look forward to another adventure.
