Alessandro and Lance used to date back in high school. It was a loving, fulfilling relationship torn apart by bad blood and a horrible misunderstanding. After graduating, they separated, and the two never got a chance to reconcile.

Fast forward ten years, and Alessandro is a successful owner and CEO of a major clothing company. Part of his job consists of interviewing potential models for his fashion lines. He enjoys his work and loves interacting with new people. But what is he supposed to do when Lance makes a sudden appearance for a modeling gig?

Review: This incredible story was an emotional roller coaster, and I loved it. Alessandro suffers from mental illness due to his breakup with Lance in high school. These perfect high school sweethearts were inseparable until jealousy and maliciousness tore them apart.

Fast forward ten years, and Alessandro is shocked when none other than Lance shows up in his office, still hostile towards him. Alessandro's guilty conscience believes he owes Lance, so he offers him a job or offers to help him find a job. The author had me wondering once the ball was now in Lance's court, will he take Alessandro up on his offer, or will his pride get in the way? While circumstances push these two men together, fear and misunderstandings threaten to pull them apart. Alessandro's mask of the perfect Mr. Bale is shattered when a mental illness breakdown at the office reveals his imperfection.

The author has an amazing way of allowing the reader to feel what their characters are feeling, which brought tears to my eyes at times throughout the story.

This was not an all-butterfly-and-rainbows story. It was a journey of love, healing, and forgiveness. If you enjoy getting wrapped up in the emotions of the characters you read, then this is the story for you. Expect the unexpected with Ignite.
