(Hunter's POV)

Nothing ever really seems like much when it first happens.. Like, you may choose to go to the store and end up in a car crash, or you might decide not to say something and lose the love of your life because of it.

Well..

In this case, I met someone.. Someone who I actually trust. It's only happened a few times in my life, when I meet someone that I actually trust..

This person happened to be a girl named Anastasia. I.. Didn't think as much of her at first. She was just some person who happened to save my life..

I thought that first that my injuries would heal and then we'd both be on our separate ways.

But fortunately, things don't always work out as planned, and sometimes you get attached to people that you weren't sure if you really wanted to stay with.

I'm glad I stayed. She cared for me, and she actually gained my trust. It wasn't an easy thing to do.. It never is. But she did it, and she dealt with me too.

I'd soon become emotionally attached to her. She was already like a sister to me, and that was before we went through so much together..

I guess the point of this is..

Before I met her, my heart was shattered, broken into tiny stone shards that were sure to be apart forever. I didn't know what else I could do with my life, since I'd already thrown it all away anyways..

But she picked up every piece and shard, and she pieced them all back together. She's like a sister to me now, the best sister I've ever even seen.

And I don't know what I'd do without her.

I finally felt complete with her.. And for the first time that I could remember, I didn't feel like I was the monster I'd always believed that I was.
