Everyone was surprised when Jack came out as gay, but none as shocked as Mark. They had been friends for so long! How could he have not known? He was happy when he got a boyfriend though. He even thought the pictures and videos of them together were cute and would tease them
But he noticed something was increasingly becoming wrong with Jack. New bruises or injuries showed up on him almost daily. Not only that, but he seemed sick and sad. He was pale and exhausted, his upload schedule getting less and less frequent. He would always make up some excuse, but Mark saw something was wrong. Growing concerned, Mark made a surprise visit and was horrified when he found Jack being hurt by his boyfriend. Mark calls the police and comforts Jack as the police arrive, noticing something. Jack's front was round and that's when Mark realized he was pregnant.
He takes Jack back to LA with him after Amy agrees. Mark gives all his attention to Jack and his growing baby, making Amy jealous and bitter
