( DISCLAIMER – Its really long. You can skim through if you want but I really wanted to make this a rp since its been on my mind for months. I didn't want to tag so many people to my world building book and then my oc book so to make them come back here. So here's everything in one chapter :> )

So I made this for my friends but other peeps can join if you want to. Its a old story idea I made from a Gacha studio rp but now I get the chance to remake it ! So heres the lore :

So this town is called Feldrose and its well known for its rich source of magic. The common ones are fire , water , earth , air with light and dark being extremely rare. Light magic users are often praised for their magic while dark magic users are shunned upon and its forbidden to use dark magic in most areas besides the underground where criminals do business. Most use magic for everyday life but there are some that don't use magic , mostly commoners. Its highly frowned upon to be magicless but not all hope is lost. Theres a school for young students called Lunanova and you can learn one or multiple elements if you wanted to.

Its incredibly difficult to learn a element you're not familiar with but it is possible. Its impossible to be born with all four elements and many choose to not learn all four. It requires energy to use magic so learning all four is highly discouraged. Light and dark magic can't be taught and only those born with it can use it. Theres the legend of the ancient ones who saved a entire town from shadowy monsters during the dark ages. The shadowy monsters were imprisoned and the town flourished into a wealthy town. The ancient ones soon became professors and banded together to make Lunanova.

Its been rumored that the shadows have returned again with the disappearance of townsfolk and that one of the professors is the leader of a dark magic cult conspiring against the ancient ones but they haven't been confirmed yet.

This brings us to the present where modern technology competes with the soon to be forgotten practice of ancient magic.

( The color of the curtains and bedsheets depends on what element you are. The dorms are separated by what element you are most dominant in. Red is fire , blue is water , green is earth and yellow is air )

Hidden Library : no one knows about it except for me and possibly your character depending on where the rp goes.

You can be a student , professor or even a third role like a parent or a villain but heres some things you need to know.

If you're a student :
- You have a limit of two elemental powers. Like I said , learning all four elements is highly dangerous. Water and Air are easier to learn whereas Fire and Earth are harder to control. With that in mind , choose wisely.

- If you are a Light or Dark magic user , you are weak to the other one. If you use light magic , dark magic hurts you. If you use dark magic , light magic hurts you. The other elements have a effect as well but light/dark are most harmful to each other. In summary , the four main elements can be damaged by Light/Dark magic and Light/Dark magic can hurt each other. Dark magic is the most unstable and requires a lot of energy , but packs a huge punch in battle.

- You can change the form of the element such as water becoming ice or gas but requires more energy. Its not extremely detrimental to your health but just take caution when you chose to change the form of the element.

- Regardless what your uniform is , some things stays consistent. Your given a black coat with golden chains , a black and white checkered witch hat , black school regulated wand and a bow with a red , blue , green or yellow gemstone depending on what your element is. Fire is red , blue is water , green is earth and yellow is air. If your multi skilled or want to learn multiple elements then the element of your birth or the element you learned first is the color of the gem. Some exceptions to the rule are if you are a light/dark magic user and you had to lie about what element you were born with.

Ex : I'm a dark magic user and since dark magic is practically illegal , I had to lie and say I was magicless and wish to learn fire magic

If you are a professor :
- Your stronger then students but still have weaknesses. If you are a dark magic user then it's recommended to learn another element since dark magic is forbidden.

- Just because you are skilled in a element , doesn't mean thats what you have to teach. You can have a secondary element and teach that instead. Because light magic is so rare , there is no class to teach light magic. Dark magic is forbidden and you can't teach it.

- Like the students , your given a bow with a gemstone on it , however , since you already graduated Lunanova and have a license to purchase a magic wand of your own , your wand can be whatever you want.

If you are a villain :
- You're most likely a dark magic user but you are proficient in other elements excluding light. You're goal is to free the shadows that are hidden somewhere in the school and whether its for selfish reasons or not , you'll destroy anyone who gets in your way.

- You have other cult members to help you but you are not the leader. You answer to a mysterious man who claims to be a professor at the school. Know one knows why he's doing all this but you'll find out soon enough...

- You can be a professor , student or a villager in the town. Just keep in mind all the rules that are established with having dark magic or any other element.

Personality : reclusive and kind , she does everything in her power to avoid conflicts. When there is no other solution , she becomes cold and somewhat sadistic. She hates this about herself and is the reason why she never talks to many people

Likes : When she thinks no one is watching , she sings to herself and plays her violin. She likes to read and write in her journal about her thoughts , placing magic locks on it so that no one could ever read it besides herself

Dislikes : social events and magic duels. She hates having to fight and even when it's necessary , its still a pain. The only time she'd get pleasure from it is if she wasn't herself.

Powers : Dark magic is her main power but fire is a element she's trying to master. She does this to not seem suspicious to the headmasters but it's incredibly challenging for her due to how fire is wild and hard to control. Dark magic is a vague umbrella term and like how elements can change their form , so too can dark magic. She can cast dark and fire magic circles ( the school regulated wand prevents a student from using dark magic so she sacrificed a lot of energy to learn to use magic without her wand ) and dark energy blasts. She can use this dark energy in the form of smoke , fire , and lightening.

Items :

- The forbidden spellbook ( The book with the chains that I'm holding ) is the key to unleashing darkness upon the town and its the thing the cult has tried so hard to find. She has no idea how to use it and the constant whispers in her head start to bother her every day. She knows its forbidden to use spells like this but a part of her feels like this is right. If it'll help her no longer be harassed then so be it !

- Her black and silver violin. She likes to play it when she believes shes alone

Backstory : She doesn't remember much but all she knew was when she was being carried by a mysterious man into a town during the winter and given to a lady in a orphanage. That lady came to be know as Ms Baker who would take care of her for years. The other kids hated her and would often harass her by pulling her hair or pouring buckets of water on her. She eventually had enough and in self defense , accidentally injured a child. She had no idea what it was and till this day she still doesn't know. One day , a professor from Feldrose who came to the orphanage to pick a child to take with them to the school chose her.

She followed them to the train and started her journey. Her first day was incredibly rough since she lied to the professor about being magicless and the students would often pick on her because of it. When all hope seemed lost , she found the staircase to the tower where she found the forbidden spell book. Ever since then , she had never been the same...
