RahIya were still in the hug letting their pain out in the form of tears. Athiya though has calmed down but was still having tears in her eyes but Rahul was still sobbing hard. Athiya has never seen him this much broken. She broke the hug still being in the hold and found him still sobbing looking down. She cupped his face and gently wiped his tears.

Athiya: Bas R.. calm down

Rahul wanted to say something but he swayed feeling dizzy due to exhaustion and weakness. Athiya hold him and made him sit on the bed.

Athiya: R.. kya hua?

Rahul: Dizzy.. weakness..

He said between his sobs. She made him have some water and then made him layed down on the bed keeping his head in her lap. He was still hiccupping.

Athiya: Bas R bas.. main hoon na tumhare sath hamesha. Sab theek ho jayega okay. Calm down.

She gently started massaging his forehead while rubbing his back with one hand and it helped him in calming himself and soon he fell asleep due to exhaustion.

Simba came there pushing the door. He was about to bark but Athiya signed him to not to and he obliged. He jumped on bed and licked Rahul's cheek gently. Athiya ruffled his hair too.

Athiya: Simba go and call Dr Pooja and Viren okay

Simba ran downstairs and pulled Viren's kurta. He bent to his level and ruffled his hair but Simba tried to drag him.

Viren: Okay kahi leke Jana hai mujhe?

Simba barked. Viren got up to go with him but Simba went to Pooja and pulled her Saree too.

Viren: Dono ko bula rahe ho?

Simba barked.

Viren & Pooja: Rah..

They almost ran with Simba while Kush was playing with ICT. RohIka and Virushka saw them going with Simba and they too went with them leaving Sammy with ICT. They reached Athiya's room and found Rahul was sleeping and she was caressing his hair lovingly.

Rohit (panicked): Kya hua?

He ran to Rahul and caressed his hair.

Athiya: Anna.. he is sleeping. And Simba I have asked you to bring Dr Pooja and Viren only.

Virat: Hum log khud aaye hai. Isne nahi bulaya. Leave the kid Tia.

Viren checked Rahul.

Athiya: He.. He shared what he was going through when he put the hold and why he put the hold.

Athiya said it while controlling her tears.

Pooja put her hand on her shoulder and squeezed it lightly.

Athiya: Thank you.. for being by his side throughout.

Pooja and Viren both gave her a gentle smile.

Virat: Rah theek hai?

Viren: He is fine. Body me halka sa fever hai but it's just because of the emotional stress and exhaustion. Ek neend ho jayegi, he will be alright.

All sighed in relief.

Rohit: Aur kuchh.. aur kuchh bola isne?

Athiya shook her head in no. Rohit sighed and looked at Virat.

Viren: Guys let him rest for an hour or so. Phir utha dena lunch ke liye. And I feel we should leave and let him rest.

Rohit went from there. Virat followed him. Pooja looked at Viren who signed her to go to them. She too went after them.

Rohit was in garden pacing here and there.

Virat: Ro please calm down

Rohit: Usne Aaj phir sab kuchh nahi bataya Vi. Bas ab.. Ab bahut hua. Let him wake up. I am not gonna leave him

Pooja: Rohit.. Let him have his day the way he wants. Past few days have been hard on him.. May be a lot harder than we can think

Rohit: Haan to issi liye bol Raha hoon na ki I am not gonna leave him. Achchhe sunaunga usko. Tab pata chalega

Virat: Ro.. calm down Ro... calm down.

He hugged Rohit rubbing his back to which Rohit snuggled more. They broke the hug.

Rohit: How can I calm down Vi? How? He is my bro..

He stopped on realising what he was about to say. He cleared his throat.

Rohit: He is our..

Virat show his palm to him stopping him from saying further.

Rohit: Vi I am sorry.. I didn't mean that way..

Virat: Stop..

Rohit: Vi..

Virat: Stop it Ro..

Rohit (in low voice): I am sorry..

Virat: Ro.. I know he is your brother.

Rohit: He is our brother Vi

Virat: Of course Ro. He is our brother but he is your brother too na. There is nothing wrong when you say he is your brother. Even I say that. You don't need to say that he is our brother every time Ro.

Rohit: Lekin..

Virat: Ro.. I know you didn't mean it that way. And I know it's just the panick which was speaking. Ro.. I know ki tum Dil se mujhe Rah ka bada bhai mante ho aur Rah ne mujhe tumhare level ka darja diya hai apni life me aur mere liye wahi kafi hai. Sach..

Rohit nodded in yes but tears fell from his eyes. He went ahead and wiped them. Pooja and Virat gave each other a knowing look.

Pooja: Waise tears are visible to me too

Virat: Ab koi ho hi rotlu to kya kare..

Pooja: Haan na.. I was thinking maine waise bhi kafi dino se swimming nahi ki..

Virat: Same pinch. Maine bhi..

Pooja: Looks like we can have enough water to swim here hai na..

Rohit: JFYI - Tum dono ki baatein sunayi de rahi hai mujhe..

Virat: Glad to hear

Rohit turned to them.

Rohit (whining): Vi.. Pooja..

Virat and Pooja chuckled and hugged him from either sides.

Pooja: Let him have some emotional stability Rohit. He really needs it.

Rohit: I am scared. Agar.. agar main beech me nahi aaya hota to pata nahi Chhotu...

He trailed off as tears again fell from his eyes.

Rohit: Why can't he just share his problems with us?

Virat: Because he loves us enough to not burden us with his problems

Rohit: He is not a burden

Virat sighed.

Virat: Ro.. his own parents have almost given up on him. His adopted parent did the same. He was literally traded. And he is just 18 years old. What do you expect from a teenager to think when all this shit happens in his life? When he was just passed from one to another like a ball.

Rohit: But he is with us na Vi. He is safe.

Virat: But he has to feel that na Ro. He just feels safer when he is surrounded by us.. Or with Tia and Shettys. Ro.. Mushkil se woh wapas tumhare muh se Chhotu sun pa raha hain. You know na after he remembered everything, again you had to stop calling him Chhotu because it was again making him sick. Imagine the trauma he was still fighting with.

Rohit sat on his knees.. tears falling continuously.

Rohit: To.. to main kya karu Vi? Kya karu? Mere bhai ko aise hi baatein chhupane doon humse? Agar Pooja ne Hume nahi bataya hota to hume pata hi nahi chalta ki Mom and Dad were trying to contact him behind our back. He was soo scared Vi but he didn't let us know.

Virat and Pooja again hugged him from either sides.

Pooja: Rohit.. jaise tum dono uski takleef nahi dekh sakte waise woh bhi tum logo ko aise nahi dekh sakta. He knew how much guilty you will feel.. He understands how it feels Aur iss liye woh khud usse jitna hua woh sab karke fight karta raha na.

Rohit: But he is a kid Pooja

Virat: Exactly Ro. He is a kid but he is a teenager too. His age will not help him in this mess. We have to handle him and make him understand gently. We have to assure him that now he cannot go away from us. He needs assurances..

Virat paused but then continued

Virat: May be more now than the time he came to know the truth

Rohit looked at him and Virat nodded in yes. He then looked at Pooja who too blinked in yes. Rohit sighed but burried his face in Virat's embrace crying. His brother was still  going through hell.. he was still fighting..

Virat was rubbing his back.

Virat: We are his strength Ro. He needs us by his side. Aur aaj to kitni Khushi ka din hai. Hamare Bhai ne apni life me apni light ko wapas bula liya hai..

Rohit broke the hug and nodded in yes. Virat gently wiped his tears.

Virat: Aur ab hum Rah ko hamesha secured and protected feel karwayenge. Aur jab tak hum dono uske saath hai.. koi bhi hamare Rah ko pareshan nahi kar payega. I promise

Rohit (determined): I promise the same Vi.. We will protect our Rah from everyone.. Be it our own Parents or anyone else.

Pooja: That's like my RohiRat. Chalo ab dono.. Hamara Chhotu sa Bhai uth gaya hoga. Sath me lunch karte hai.

They went to Athiya's room happily chuckling on something crazy Virat was saying.

Rahul himself woke up in an hour and rubbed his eyes to get rid of sleep. He saw Athiya sitting beside him and caressing his hair. He smiled and sat properly on the bed with help of Athiya.

Athiya: How are you feeling now?

Rahul: Better Tia. Thanks.

Athiya: Chakkar nahi aa rahe na?

Rahul shook his head in no.

Rahul: Thoda heavy lag raha hai sar but I am much better. I guess Ghar Jake so jaunga to will be alright

Athiya nodded in yes. Rahul looked down not knowing what he should say further.

Athiya looked at his face which was having a slight red cheek where she slapped. She caressed his cheek and kissed it.

Athiya: Sorry.. Bahut pain hua hoga na.

Rahul shook his head in no. Athiya's eyes were all welled up. Tears fell from her eyes. Rahul gently wiped them shaking his head in no. He thought to tease her.

Rahul (teasing): If I get this lovely gift (pointing towards his cheek) after being slapped, I won't mind though.

Athiya looked at him. Rahul winked at her and she smacked him lightly making him chuckle.

Athiya hugged him tightly to which he held her protectively. They stayed in the hug with closed eyes sinking in the reality that they both are together again.

Rohit, Virat and Pooja came to Athiya's room and found the couple in the hug. RohiRat got their eyes moist but they composed themselves.

Rohit cleared his throat making RahIya startled. They quickly broke the hug looking here and there and Rahul sat straighter.

Athiya: Main.. main lunch leke aai..

She ran from there blushing whereas Rahul was looking down biting his lip to control his blushy smile though his red ears were betraying him anyways.

Pooja chuckled at his antics which made Virat laughed.

Rahul (whined): Vi Bhai.. Bhaiya dekho na.. these two are being meanie

Rohit: Inhone kya kiya.. bas has hi rahe hai.

He sat beside him and caressed his hair.

Rohit: Theek ho?

Rahul nodded in yes

Virat sat on the other side and his eyes widened seeing Rahul's cheek. But before he could say anything, Pooja spoke.

Pooja: Rah.. ek baar check kar loon?

Rahul nodded in yes. Pooja sat in front at the side of Rohit and checked Rahul's pulse.

Pooja: Looking good. Anything uneasiness?

Rahul: Sar thoda bhari hai. I guess so jaunga to theek ho jayega

Pooja: Yeah just some sleep will help. There is nothing to worry.

She pinched his nose to which he made a face.

Rahul: Apne Pati ko miss kar rahe ho to bula lo na. Spare me..

Rohit, Virat and Pooja chuckled.

Virat (teasing): Waise Rah had a good sleep hai na..

Rahul (innocently): Ji Vi Bhai.

Virat (teasing): Aww.. So cute na.. Hugs mile honge.. kuchh AUR bhi mila hoga..

Rahul looked at him with wide eyes and found he was smirking at him teasingly.

Rahul (fumbling & blushing): Ji.. woh.. main..

Rohit (teasing): Oho.. someone is blushing Haan..

He too teased him making Rahul looked down blushing hard. Pooja chuckled.

Rahul (whining): Vi Bhai.. see na..

He hid his face in Virat's shoulder who held him chuckling at his antics.

Virat (whispering): Rah.. there is a lipstick mark on your cheek.

Rahul snuggled more making him chuckle more. Virat broke the hug. Rahul was still blushing looking down. Virat cupped his face and wiped the mark gently without getting noticed.

Virat: I am so happy for you and Tia Rah.. Now don't move away from your light okay..

Rahul: Never Vi Bhai.. never..

Virat caressed his hair and blinked at him.

Shettys, RiShka, Kush and Viren came there and they had lunch together. Seeing RahIya back together was the best thing they were witnessing today. They both have suffered a lot and because of the deeds of others but all were just happy seeing them both happy. Later Sharmas and Kohlis went from there to SK mansion.

Rohit: Chhotu.. kiddo take rest okay.

Rahul: Bhaiya I am fine. Aap tension mat lo

Rohit cupped his face.

Rohit: Tension tum mat lo Chhotu. Jab tak bhaiya hai na.. kuchh bhi galat nahi hoga hmm..

Rahul nodded in yes though he didn't know the deep meaning his brother's words were having but he was just happy being with him.

Ritz: Chalo Rah.. Aaj tum aur Sammy dono ko sath me Sula deti hoon.

Rahul's eyes twinkled with the thought of having Sammy by his side. He happily agreed. They went to Rahul's room and Rahul freshen up first and Ritz by that time has changed Sammy's clothes too.

Rahul layed down on the bed beside Sammy and was playing with her. She was giggling with him. Both were so engrossed in their own banter that Ritz was having FOMO. Rohit, Virat and Anu came there only to find Ritz sitting there with a pout and Rahul and Sammy were playing though both were yawning one by one but they were playing.

Rohit (whispering): Such a kid he is Vi..

Virat took him in a side hug and rubbed his arm.

Virat: We will protect him always hmm

Rohit nodded in yes. They went inside.

Ritz: Ro.. see.. These two have ganged up against me. Kab se bol rahi hoon sone ko lekin dono khelne itne busy hai ki kuchh sun hi nahi rahe

Virat: Ritz.. you go and have some rest yaar. Raat ko bhi Sammy jagati hai na. Go.. Nushkie you too go. Main aur Ro hai idhar

Ritz and Anu went from there.

Virat and Rohit sat at either side of the duo of Rahul and Sammy.

Rohit: Sammy.. Rah.. so jao dono.. yeh kya Masti laga ke rakhi hai.. and Rah.. where is your bhari sar now? Ab heaviness nahi lag rahi sar me? Theek se leto chalo..

Rahul (whispering): See Sammy boo.. OUR DADA is being jealous of us having gala time in playing

Rahul chuckled and Sammy as if understood everything chuckled too. Virat has heard whatever Rahul has said and was really happy hearing this.

Virat: Rah..

Rahul looked at him and found him looking at him with raised eyebrows. He looked down immediately quite shyly.

Virat (whispering): I am so happy to hear that Rah. And there is nothing wrong in it okay

Rahul smiled at him. Virat knew and understood why he was not saying anything openly. Virat caressed his hair.

Virat: Sleep okay..

Rahul nodded in yes and closed his eyes keeping his one hand over Sammy's chest patting her. But Sammy turned to him and snuggled to him making RohiRat chuckled. Rohit caressed Rahul's hair and he slept in a while. He then kept his Panda and Rabbit beside him at either side.

Rohit and Virat both were having a content smile on their faces seeing peace on Rahul's face.

From the next day onwards, Rahul started practicing cricket too but after discussing with Viren on how much he should practice.. how much he should train.. What he should eat to make the recovery faster.. All could see an entire different Rahul who was so much clear, determined and dedicated towards his recovery.

Rohit too was now calmed seeing Rahul so focused on himself and Virat was too becoming his Cheeku self.. Always jumping and giggling. Moreover the relationship between Virat and Anushka too has improved a lot. They were now more like their old selves. RahIya too were in their older selves.. always bickering.. always in banters and always lost in each other.. Madly in love..

And now all were excited for semi final and final of The Rising Stars. But certain RahIya were highly nervous.

Rohit: Chhotu.. Tia.. you both just calm down baba..

Ritz: Tum dono bahut achchha karoge dekh lena

Rahul: Umm.. bhabhi..

Ritz: Haan..

Rahul: Aap aaoge na?

Ritz: Of course Rah..

Virat: Rah..

He looked at him with raised eyebrows. Rahul smiled at him nervously. He took him in a side hug.  Rahul hid his face in his shoulder.

Rahul (whispering): Main kar lunga na Virat bhaiya?

Virat caressed his hair and kissed on the side of his forehead.

Virat: Of course Rah.. I know you can do this..

They broke the hug.

Athiya (whining): Appaaaaaa

Sunil: Tia.. beta calm down.. Sab sahi hoga. Tum khud hyper ho rahi ho aur Rahul ko aur hyper kar rahi ho

Athiya looked at Rahul who was looking at her with almost startling expression. She bit her tongue.

Anu: Rah.. Athu.. jab bhi bahut zyada tension ho tab yeh sochna ki tum dono performance kiske liye kar rahe ho.. What is there at stake? Aur agar nahi bhi hua achchha performance to koi baat nahi.. Competition me part lena zyada zaruri hai.

Mana: Haan beta.. aur tum dono ne to kitna achchha perform Kiya hai abhi tak. Just stay positive okay

Rahul and Athiya both nodded in yes feeling somewhat motivated.

It was the day of the competition. Rahul woke up early and got ready. He then completed his gym and everything and was now sitting in the garden looking at his favourite flowers.

Virat came and sat beside him. Rahul kept his head on his shoulder.

Virat: Nervous??

Rahul: Thoda sa.. not about the competition but..

Virat: I know..

Rahul took a shaky breath making Virat took him in a side hug.

Virat: Are you sure Rah?

Rahul: I am.. lekin.. lekin phir se kuchh ulta pulta ho gaya to?

Virat: Ulta pulta tab hota hai jab tum khud ready nahi hote ho. If you are ready, ulta pulta kuchh nahi hoga. Always remember kiddo.. Your Vi Bhai is always there to protect you hmm..

Rahul: Thanks Vi Bhai.. you are the best

Rahul kissed on his cheek making Virat chuckled at his antics.

Virat: Rah..

Rahul: Ji..

Virat: Tum jo kar rahe ho aur jo karne ja rahe ho sab sahi hai apni jagah. Lekin you are responsible towards Tia too.. Tia deserves her share of appreciation Rah. It's upto you ki woh tum usko kaise dete ho. Ek baar openly express to Karo. Usko yeh ehsaas to dilao ki woh tumhare liye kya mayne rakhti hai.. phir dekhna.. uske chehre ka nikhar pagal na bana de to bolna..

Virat winked at the end.

Rahul looked at other side blushing hard. Virat chuckled at his antics but ruffled his hair affectionately.

Virat: Chale?

Rahul nodded in yes and they both went inside.

Everyone was at the college and were waiting for the host to start. Pooja, Viren, Kush and ICT too have come to watch the performances as today was the day when even the final was also there.

Host: Welcome everyone to The Rising Stars.. the international talent hunt competition where we judge the talent based on Singing and Dancing.

All clapped.

Host: Let's welcome our judges.. Mr Adam Jecksion.. Mr Shyamak Dawar and Miss Melissa

All clapped hard.

Host: You all must be thinking how come we will have Grand Finale just after Quarter Final. But as usual we are having twist in the tale. But let's welcome the participants before revealing the twist.

One by one all participants came on the stage and as usual RahIya were getting immense love from the audience as they were representing India and as well as from the college students of course as they were representing their college.

But the change was visible in RahIya's body language. They have come holding hands.. were standing closer to each other.. They were smiling more and it was not the formal one..

Host: It's time to reveal the twist. And the twist is.. You all will be given a chance to either sing or dance or do both.. You can either perform solo or duet.. Do whatever you want.. Here is the chance and you all would be wanting to grab it like anything as after the performance, whichever pair is having the highest marks will  directly reach to The Grand Finale.

All hooted and clapped hard for the participants.

Shyamak: Your tech team is ready back stage so go and prepare for the performance.

Adam & Melissa: All the best kids..

The participants went back stage to prepare for the performance.

After a while one by one everyone was performing really well. Then there was an Australian participants who performed in the continuation of their previous performance.

Virat: Oh sh*t

Rohit: Holy Sh*t

Ritz: Ab kya hoga?

Anu (confidently): Rah and Tia kar lenge.. (now unsure) Hai na???

Virat, Rohit and Ritz looked at her who smiled sheepishly at them.

Anu: Of.. of course kar lenge.. hehe..

Rest all shook their heads.

Virat: It was the continuation of Quarter Final. The Quarter Final challenge is still going on. I just hope Rah aur Tia samaj gaye ho iss baat ko. Warna unko semi final me performance deni hogi aur phir Finals ke time energy drain ho jayegi

Rohit: Vi.. I am scared. Rah aur Tia bachche hai

Sunil: Don't worry.. dono sambhal lenge. Let's have faith in them

Rest all took deep breaths and calmed themselves down.

Host: Now let's welcome our most beloved participants Rahul Sharma and Athiya Shetty..

All clapped hard for them.

Audience (shouting): RahIya.. RahIya.. RahIya..

The family members were having a proud smile seeing so much love and support for their kids.

RahIya came on the stage.

Host: So Rahul and Athiya.. Aap logo ne kya decide Kiya hai?

Rahul: We will do both singing and dancing and we both are performing

The audience hooted and clapped hard for them. The judges kept tissue boxes on the table making RahIya chuckled. Melissa was talking to her fellow judges while the set up was being done.

Melissa: I am seeing Rahul smiling this much for the first time.. Same goes for Athiya too.. They both are looking way too much happy

The performance started.

Athiya started going away from Rahul.

Seeing it the audience was silent and the judges shook their heads as once again the story was having a sad ending.

But Rahul held Athiya's wrist and now started singing.

As soon as Rahul sang this, The crowd and judges all erupted in joy. They all hooted and clapped hard.

Rahul continued singing while pulling her towards him to which her back dashed to his chest. They were in back hug position and were swaying with the song.

Rahul and Athiya both started dancing together now with lifts and floor work.

Can you give me a chance to be YOUR LIFE PARTNER when the time comes? Can you accept me with all my Flaws be it physical, mental or emotional? Can you give me a chance to grow old with you?

Athiya: You know you are an idiot R.

Rahul pouted. Athiya cupped his face.

Athiya: But you are my idiot.. Exclusively for me. You understood..

Rahul nodded in yes like an obedient kid.

Athiya: Yes R.. I am giving you chance to be MY R.. I love you R..

Rahul: I love you too Tia..

They both again hugged each other.
