Rohit went to check on Rahul at night who was looking at nothing in particular. He was about to go to him but Simba licked Rahul's face breaking his trance and making him chuckle at the ticklish feeling.

Rahul: You naughty boy..

Rahul took hold of Simba and started playing with him. Rohit frowned but went from there. He was passing by Virat's room and saw Virat was sleeping while keeping his head in Anu's lap. He smiled seeing them and went from there to his room.

Rohit came to his room and found Sammy was awake and Ritz was in deep sleep. He picked his princess and took her in the hall.

Rohit: Kya hua hai Apko? Kyu jag Gaye aap? Mumma ko pareshan nahi kiya.. good girl nikli aap to.. Apke dono Chachus ki sangat ka asar nahi hua hai abhi tak nice..

Virat: Uske Chachus achchhe hi hai. Unhi ki sangat ka asar hai ki isne Ritz ko pareshan nahi kiya

They both chuckled.

Rohit: Tu soya nahi?

Virat: Nahi..

There was a silence for a while. Virat wanted to ask something but he was quite hesitant. Rohit noticed it

Rohit: Coffee bana. Terrace pe chalte hai

Virat shook his head in no

Virat: Sammy ko thand lag jayegi idiot. Yahi baithate hai. Main laya coffee

Rohit nodded in yes and Virat went to kitchen to make coffee. He came back and passed Rohit's coffee to him.

Virat: Are yeh so bhi gayi?

Rohit: Neend me hi thi. Tumhe pata hai isko bhi na Chhotu ke jaise aise heart pe pat karo to neend aa jati hai

Virat chuckled

Virat: Ussi pe gayi hai puri waise bhi

Rohit: So to hai

There was again a silence

Rohit: Tell me Vi kya baat hai

Virat looked down holding the coffee mug tightly. Virat sighed after a while.

Virat: Will you.. will you come with me to hospital tomorrow?

Rohit frowned.

Rohit: Hospital kyu?

Virat: Dr. Viren se milna hai.

Rohit: Lekin kyu?

Virat: Opinion chahiye unka. Ek case me. Ab yeh batao aaoge ya nahi

Rohit nodded in yes though the confusion was still there on his face but before he could ask further, Virat wished him Good night and left from there.

Rohit: Isko kon se case me opinion chahiye? Woh bhi mujhe leke ja..

He stopped as something struck into his mind.

Rohit: God.. bas yeh karna ki mera doubt galat nikal lena

Rohit put Sammy beside Ritz and then went upstairs again to Rahul's room only to find Virat was making Rahul sleep. Rahul has almost dozed off when Rohit came inside.

Rohit: Abhi bhi jag rahe ho?

Virat facepalmed himself.

Rahul: Of course bhaiya. Aao betho na

He said while sitting on the bed. Virat glared at Rohit who bit his tongue.

Rohit: Rah so Jana chahiye tha na. Almost so Gaye the aur abhi uth gaye

Rahul: Haan to aap dono Sula do.

Saying so he kept his head in Rohit's lap and his legs on Virat's lap.

Rahul: Ab sulao

RohiRat chuckled. Rohit looked at Virat. The knowing look they both shared.. They knew the talk is pending but they just didn't know how to initiate it. At last, Rohit cleared his throat.

Rohit: Rah.. you okay?

Rahul shrugged his shoulders. He too knew his brothers will come to him and talk but he also knew he can go and talk as well but he was not having any courage to go and ask them anything.

Rohit was caressing Rahul's hair while Virat was massaging his legs.

Rahul: Virat Bhaiya aap kyu per daba rahe ho? Mujhe dard nahi ho raha

Virat: Rah.. I know you had a good workout session today. And kuchh dino se jo fever ki wajah se weakness aayi thi uske baad body ko itna workout karne ke baad rest bhi lagta hai na. And you already have bad legs. Hamesha pero me zyada affect hota. So let's be a little more careful okay

Rahul (softly): Thank you

RohiRat looked at each other knowing his whole body will be paining but he is hiding it. But they let it go for now. Rohit signed Virat to ask Rahul and he nodded in yes.

Virat: Haan to..

Virat said this much and stopped seeing Rahul who was almost fell asleep again opened his eyes but now the massage and his meds were showing their effects as he was able to open half eyes only.

Rahul: Haan..

Rohit: Kuchh nahi bachcha.. sleep okay. Hum dono baat kare rahe the.. You sleep

Virat: Haan Rah. Your body needs rest na. Sleep.

Rahul slept. RohiRat made him sleep properly on the bed and covered him with duvet.

Rohit: Yeh theek to hoga na

Virat: He will be alright

Virat was confident enough to calm Rohit. They too went from there to their respective rooms.

On the next day, RohiRat went to hospital and asked for Dr Viren's appointment but they were informed that he is free today so they can directly go. RohiRat went to Dr Viren's cabin and were shocked to see him in tears. He was lost in his thoughts and tears were falling from his eyes. RohiRat looked at each other and then Rohit knocked at the door. Viren saw them and asked them to come inside while wiping his tears. RohiRat came inside and sat on the chairs.

Viren: Aap dono yaha? Sab theek hai? And Rahul kaisa hai?

Rohit: Waise to sab theek and Rah is.. okay I guess

Viren nodded in yes

Virat: What happened Viren? Is everything alright?

Viren: Yeah.. It's just this day you know..

Rohit: Kyu aisa kya hua tha aaj ke din? If you are comfortable, you can share with us...

Viren: There is nothing to hide as such. It's just that today is my wedding anniversary.

Viren sighed.

Viren: Hum dono ne bhaag ke shaadi ki thi. Uske pariwaar wale bahut rigid the. They didn't allow and after marriage they didn't approve. I was not this much popular and stable in my life at that time ki hum log kuchh bhi counter de paate unke questions ka. Tha to sirf Pooja ka vishwas. Uske bhaiya ne rishta tod diya uske sath. Aur uske chhote bhai ko tak ek baar nahi milne diya. Phir jab Kush paida hua, hume umeed thi ki woh log maan jayenge ya at least Pooja aur Kush ko apna lenge.. It brought Pooja to reality. She realised she was not only responsible for her brothers but she has responsibilities of her son.. her husband too. Kisi ke chale jaane se zindagi nahi rukti aur na unko achchha lagta hai jab aap khud ko takleef dete ho. She worked on herself.. and saved Kush also. Lekin aaj ke din woh ho sake utna khud ko busy rakhti hai Kush me ya phir mujhe pamper karne me. Taki usko dono bhai ki yaad na aaye. She has accepted the reality lekin the pain of not being able to even see their faces one last time still haunts her. Iss liye zyada distraction ki taraf jaati hai

Virat: She is really strong

They smiled at each other.

Viren: Achchha ab yeh batao yaha kaise aana hua?

Rohit: Woh Vi ko kam tha..

Virat: Mujhe kam tha.. Actually invite karna tha tum logo ko. Aaj ek party hai sham ko. To aa jana okay. And apni biwi ko bol dena uska hona compulsory hai

Rohit (raised eyebrows): Party??

Virat (sternly): Haan Party..

Rohit: Yeah Party..

Viren: Lekin..

Virat: You guys are coming that's final

Viren: I guess it will be nice distraction for Pooja. Rahul, Kush, Sammy sab honge, she will feel nice.

Virat: Great.. we will take your leave then. Bye..

Virat grabbed Rohit's hand and almost dragged him from there. They were going back home.

Rohit: Yeh kya tha?

Virat: I'll take his opinion tomorrow. Aaj unke liye iss din ko special banate hai. They have been so much kind and considerate towards us everytime. They have even ignore Kush upto some extent when Rah was in hospital. We can do this much right

Rohit smiled widely.

Rohit: That's like my Vi.. jo hamesha apno ko age rakhta hai khud ki problems ko bhul ke. Though I hate that trait of yours but I love it too.

They both chuckled. They reached home and informed everyone about the plan. They all agreed got busy in preparation.

It was around 4 PM when the preparation was done. The ICT and Shettys were invited.

They were sipping evening coffee with snacks.

Anu: Vi.. I have got a new movie.. I mean offer aaya hai

Virat: That's great

Anu: Ranveer Singh ke sath

Virat who was about to take another sip of his coffee stopped mid way.

The atmosphere became tensed. All knew Virat though was not having any issues with Ranveer but he was very much affected with the rumours of Ranveer and Anushka's affair specially when they had broken up.

Virat sighed.

Virat: Agar story sahi hai and if you feel it's right for you then go for it

All were surprised

Anu: Vi.. tum... tumhe bura nahi laga? I mean Ranveer ke sath..

Virat: Nushkie.. I know you are mine. I trust you. Why should I feel bad then? Haan tum dono ke affair ke rumours kafi affect karte the in fact life long karenge but at that time, we have broken up with each other but now you are my wife. Mujhe koi reason nahi dikhta usse problem hone ka. In fact, agar hamari shaadi nahi hui hoti, we were still in that broken up phase, then also I was not having any right to feel bad about you guys. He said last line looking towards Rahul who was caressing Sinha's hair but all knew he has heard everything what Virat said.

Rahul (in mind): Maine Tia ko free kiya tha.. It was my decision.. Maine usko khud se door kiya tha.. I deserve to feel this pain jo usne Saha bina kisi galati ke. Main to galati karke sahen karunga. But I was right .. She deserves better than me.

Virat: But now that I think again of that phase..

His voice made Rahul look at him.

All except Rahul chuckled whereas Rahul was just looking at him curiously.

Rahul (curiously): Sach Vi Bhai?

All looked at him with raised eyebrows including Simba who barked.

Rahul: What?? Just asking..

All: Yeah yeah we know..

Rahul looked here and there.

Virat: I would have fought till the last moment Rah.

Rahul just nodded in yes. Rest all looked at each other with anticipation but none was able to guess what was going on in Rahul's mind.

It was evening and the Party was going on in full swing. Jaddu was happy that his Veer was not angry with him though he scolded him a bit but they were fine. Harry was pestering Rahul and Jassi who both were trying to make him shut his mouth but were highly unsuccessful as most of the efforts were by Jassi only whereas Rahul was glancing every now and then at the main door.

Jassi: Ab wait karke kya fayda.

Harry: Exactly.. jab kisi ko wait nahi karwana tha tab to sab kuchh chhod chhad ke wait karwane pe tule hue the

Rahul rolled his eyes. He knew he was at fault but only he knew and may be Pooja and Viren what he has gone through without being vocal. He knew his brothers were getting idea but he was just trying to make them stay away of that fear as much as he could but none knew how he has dealt with his own fear. But now keeping those things inside him was getting difficult for him specifically when everyone still thinks he was at fault.. well he was.. he still is but was he wrong in thinking the longer happiness of his love.. hell he cannot share with anyone as he knew none would be able to handle it.

His chain of thoughts broke when Harry bumped his shoulder with his making Rahul frown at him but Harry signed him to look at the door. Rahul looked at the door and saw Athiya came inside with Shettys. She was looking really pretty. A smile instantly came on his face. He was about to go there but stopped seeing Aman came inside and stood beside Athiya taking her in a side hug and she was saying something in his ear and they were chuckling.

RohIka, Virushka went to welcome them. Rahul took a deep breath and he too went to greet them.

Rahul took blessings of Mana and Sunil.

Sunil: Are beta bola tha na iski zarurat nahi hai

Rahul: Aap bade hai na. Apke blessings to hamesha lagenge.

Virat: Dekha mera bachcha kitna samajdaar hai..

Rohit: Oh hello.. mera bhi bachcha hai..

Virat: Lekin zyada mera hai..

Ritz: Stop it you two. He is my kid. Ab chup raho dono.

RohiRat looked at Rahul who shrugged his shoulders. Of course he is Ritz's kid. Noone can cross that.

Athiya: My poor Annas.

She teased them while chuckling. Rahul looked at her. He then saw Aman. Athiya hold Aman's hand seeing him looking at him. She was about to shield him from Rahul's gaze but couldn't seeing him smiling at them.

Rahul: Welcome..

Athiya frowned but they all came inside.

Mahi: Cheeku.. Ro ne bataya sab mujhe. How are you bachcha?

Virat: I am better Bhai. Aur aaj jo Sikh mili hai na uske baad I know I'll always be fine.

Mahi smiled as he could see the old Virat.. the Virat about whom everyone used to speak. The old spark in his eyes was visible.

Everyone was chilling when Viren, Pooja and Kush came. Kush directly ran to Rahul who was playing with Sammy who was in his lap and Kush sat on the sofa beside him.

Rahul: Hello champ.. How are you?

Kush: Happy happy.

Kush looked at Sammy.

Kush: Baby??

Rahul: Baby bhi happy happy hai. See dekho kaise aapko dekh rahi hai

Kush smiled widely at Sammy.

Kush: Pretty pretty girl

Rahul chuckled. Kush looked at him.

Kush: Apki kidhar?

Rahul: Kya?

Kush: Pretty girl?

Rahul: Chhodo mera.. tumhara batao

Kush pointed at Sammy.

Kush: My Pretty girl. Ab apki kidhar?

Rahul chuckled and Sammy clapped.

Rahul: Lagta hai apki Pretty girl ko bhi aap pasand aa gaye. Bhaiya ko batana padega abhi se damad mil gaya

He again chuckled.

Kush: Apki pretty girl kidhar?

Rahul's smile vanished and he looked at Athiya.

Kush: Lekin woh to uss bhaiya ke sath hai. Apke sath kyu nahi?

Pooja came there.

Pooja: Kya baatein ho rahi hai?

Rahul: Kuchh.. kuchh nahi. Main aaya abhi

He went from there making Pooja frowned. But before she could ask anyone, Virat took the mic.

Virat: Attention everyone.. Firstly thank you so much for coming here and grace this party with your presence that too on a short notice. Appreciated

The ICT juniors hooted and clapped making everyone laugh.

Virat: So now coming to main point, the occasion of the party. So the occasion is today Wedding Anniversary of my little sister.

Jinks: Tumhari chhoti bahen bhi hai???

Rohit: Oh hello meri bhi hai

Viren: Are yaar tum logo ke ghar me kitne log hai. Koi na koi naya aata Ghar ka hi niklata. Main naam yaad rakh rakh ke thak gaya

All laughed

Virat: Well that will not be the case this time. Kyuki Bhai Banda apna khud ka naam kaise bhul sakta hai

Viren and Pooja both looked at him with shocked expression.

Pooja: Yeh.. yeh kya bol rahe ho?

Rohit: Wahi jo bahut pehle bolna tha. Lekin we maintained space seeing this akdu husband of yours.

Viren: Are lekin.. yeh sab kyu? Maine iss liye share..

Virat: I said meri bahen ki anniversary hai. Jiju ko to aise hi sath me rakhna padta to rakh liya.

Viren rolled his eyes.

Virat went to Pooja and Viren.

Virat: You both have been with us throughout everything. You guys sometimes know us better than we know ourselves. We can't even forget how much you both have neglected Kush too because of us.

Rohit: Viren ne bataya hume aaj kya hua tha Pooja

Pooja got tears in her eyes. She looked down and quickly wiped them. Viren took her in a side hug.

Virat: Kabhi kabhi kuchh buri yaadein hume hamare achchhe aaj se door kar deti hai. Kuchh guilts apko apke farz apki responsibilities se door kar dete hai. I was always wondering how come you were able to understand it properly but now I know. And Now that I know..

Rohit: There is something special for you dear Sister

Virat: I have learnt one of the most precious thing today. Kisi ke chale jaane se.. uss guilt me jeete rehne se.. aap bas unko takleef dete ho jo apke sath hote hai aur isse sab se zyada takleef usko hoti hai jo apko chhod ke gaya. You have been inspiration to many but you have inspired me a lot Pooja. Aaj ke din ne tumhe tumhara suhag diya lekin tumse tumhara rakhi bandhane ka haq bhi chhin liya. Lekin agar kismat tumhe woh haq wapas Dena chahe to kya tum usko apnaogi? Will you be my younger sister?

Rohit: Ane mine too..

Tears fell from Pooja's eyes whereas Viren's eyes got moist. Pooja looked at Viren who smiled at her.

Pooja: Aap sab log itna kuchh kyu kar rahe ho mere liye? Meri wajah se..

Virat: Tumhari wajah se kuchh nahi hua tha Pooja. It's our human nature jo humse ulte sidhe khayal ko execute karwata hai. It was happened because it was meant to be. Agar hum achchhi baato ko leke aisa bol sakte hai to buri baato pe bhi yahi lagoo hoga na.

Rohit: Are RohiRat ka combo itni asaani se nahi milta. Jaldi Haan bolo

All looked at him who bit his tongue and Pooja chuckled amidst her tears.

RohiRat : Will you be our sister?

Pooja: I'll.

As soon as she said that, rose petals fell on her. She looked upwards only to find Rahul there with Kush in his arms and they both were throwing rose petals on her.

Pooja smiled widely at them. Rahul came downstairs with Kush. Kush was giggling and was really happy with him.

Pooja (whispering): Vi..

Viren looked at her.

Pooja (whispering): Rah ke sath Kush bilkul waise hi rehta hai jaise maine socha tha ki..

She trailed off. Viren rubbed her arm to calm her.

Virat: Let's bring the cake guys..

The servant brought cake trolley. Pooja and Viren came forward towards it. Rest all surrounded them.

"Happy Anniversary Di & Jiju"

Pooja and Viren were surprised.

Pooja: Are lekin tum dono ne to mujhe chhoti bahen banaya na. Phir yeh Di aur Jiju..

Viren: Exactly..

Rahul (dramatically): Kyu apko sirf bade bhai hi chahiye? Mere jaisa chhota sa nanha sa Munna sa cute sa and most importantly apko acting sikhane wala Chhota Bhai nahi chahiye??

Pooja again got tears in her eyes. Rahul was always her brother for her. Her only patient whose each pain.. each suffering was affecting her too. She didn't even know when this goof ball made his place in her heart.

Pooja cupped Rahul's face.

Pooja: Aren't you already?

Rahul: To phir cake me jo likha hai sahi likha hai. Apke chhote bhai ki taraf se cake to banta hai na

Pooja hugged him tightly crying hard.

Pooja (crying): Thank you

RoHulRat together hugged her giving her the family which she was always having once she came in their contact.

Viren too wiped his tears. He has always been very much emotionally strong person but this family has always managed to bring out emotions from his eyes.

Pooja broke the hug. Viren composed himself.

Viren: Not bad Tiny boy..

Rahul made a face.

Rahul: Aaj anniversary hai iss liye Bach rahe ho akdu Jiju. Age se bahut pareshan karunga main apko..

Viren chuckled

Anu: Chalo chalo ab cake cut Karo

Viren and Pooja cut the cake and all wished them. Pooja was the happiest today and RoHulRat were feeling content as they were able to give someone who has been with them during their tough times something which she really deserves.

Viren: Thanks guys..

Virat: Mention not buddy..

Viren: Waise subah kis kam se aaye the?

Virat looked at him

Viren: Of course meri anniversary party ke liye mujhe invite karne to nahi hi aaye the..

Virat: Jab aaya tha tab aisa lagta tha ki bahut zaruri baat hai. Ab aisa lag raha hai ki zaroori hai lekin.. I am more curious now. Earlier I was in need of knowing something but now I am just curious.

Pooja: Vi..

Viren & Virat (together): Haan..

All laughed.

Rahul (teasing): Bhaiya ko bulaya ya Saiyaan ko Di..

Pooja smacked him lightly.

Pooja: Badmash..

Rahul chuckled.

Pooja: And for the record, Saiyaan ko bulaya tha abhi. Ghar nahi Jana kya? Late ho gaya hai kafi..

Viren: Yeah coming. 2 minutes.

Viren looked at Virat.

Virat: I have reports of a person. I want your opinion.

Viren: Haan to soft copy ho to bhej dena. Hard copy hai to kal aa jana and abhi dekhna ho to bhi it's fine

Virat: No.. I'll come tomorrow. For now, go and spend some quality time with my sister. Go.. Shoo..

Viren chuckled but once again thanked RoHulRat for their lovely gesture. Rest all too went to their respective rooms after all the guests went.

Rahul was in his room when he got a call. He saw the ID and disconnected the call. He switched off his phone before he got another call.

Rahul: I should sleep now

He tried to sleep but sleep was far away from his eyes. He took out his medicine box. He saw the meds which he used to take when he was under medication for copping upto the mental exhaustion he used to feel because of his Forgotten Memories. He looked at the meds and took a deep breath.

Rahul: Just today Okay Rah.. You need this.. your body needs rest.. Just for that purpose

Rahul took his meds and kept the box inside the drawer. He layed down on the bed staring at the blurry vision of the ceiling. He didn't know when the sleep captured him.

RohiRat have come to check on him but they found him fast asleep which made them confused but they thought to talk with him tomorrow.

On the next day, Rahul was still sleeping when it was time for breakfast. Rohit anyhow woke him up and he came down after getting ready.

Virat: Rah.. aaj sirf tum session attend kar lo if possible?

Rahul: Main bhi yahi kehne wala tha. Ab to as such kuchh bacha nahi hai ki mujhe aap chahiye honge session me.

Rohit: Sure Rah?

Rahul: Of course Bhaiya

Virat: Okay so Kaka tumhe leke jayenge cafe okay?

Rahul nodded in yes while having his breakfast.

Anu (whispering): Itna kuchh ho raha hai.. Rah kuchh ajeeb behave nahi kar raha?

Ritz (whispering): Pakka kuchh to chal raha hai iske chhote se dimag me.

Anu nodded in yes.

After breakfast, RohiRat went to hospital and Rahul went for the session. Rahul has slept in the car being still under effect of the medicines. As they reached, Pooja saw them and came to receive Rahul as she knew Virat was not gonna come.

Kaka: Beta woh Rahul baba to so Gaye

Pooja frowned. She woke Rahul up.

Rahul: Sorry pata nahi kab aankh lag gayi

Pooja: Koi baat nahi. Come

She took him to the table while holding him protectively. She made him have some water.

Pooja: Kisko puchh ke meds li?

Rahul coughed hearing her question.

Pooja (sternly): I asked something

Rahul gulped down. He didn't meet her eyes. Pooja hold his hand and rubbed his palms slowly calming him down.

Pooja: Kya baat hai jisne tumhe itna majboor kar diya ki tumne..

Rahul: Woh meri hi to meds thi na

Pooja: Haan lekin tab ki situation aur abhi ki situation me antar hai Rah

Rahul ( with teary eyes): Koi.. koi antar nahi hai. Sab.. sab ke liye main ek cheez hi hoon

Pooja: Apne dono bhaiya aur bhabhi ke liye bhi?

Rahul shook his head in no

Pooja: Apni team ke liye bhi?

Rahul again shook his head in no

Pooja: Athiya ke liye bhi?

Rahul again shook his head in no

Pooja (sternly): Whom are you talking about Rah?

Rohit and Virat were sitting in Viren's cabin who was busy in studying the reports. Virat has hold Rohit's hand tightly.

Viren: The stroke was massive. The survival chances were negligible. Iss situation me to hum log patient ko discharge kar dete hai and will ask families to take care jitna time hai unke paas utne time Tak

Virat: Koi hope?

Viren sighed and shook his head in no

Rohit: Lekin yeh reports hai kiski?

Virat looked at him with teary eyes. Rohit was shocked as his doubt came out to be truth.

Rohit started rubbing his back.

Rohit: Calm down Vi.. calm down baba..

Virat: Da.. Dada..

Virat hugged him tightly hiding his face in the hug. Tears were falling from his eyes.

Pooja came there with Rahul and they were surprised to see Virat breaking down like that. Rohit was trying to calm him.

Pooja was about to say something but Rahul hold her hand. Pooja looked at him. Rahul shook his head in no.

Rahul (mouthed): Please..

Pooja sighed but nodded in yes seeing Virat's condition. Right now they really cannot talk. She took Rahul from there and gave him revised medication.

Pooja: Everything will be fine Rah okay

Rahul nodded in yes.

Pooja: Daro mat. Hum sab hai tumhare sath hmm.

Rahul nodded in yes and thanked her.

Once Virat was calmed down, Rohit took him and went to Pooja's cabin and picked Rahul too. Viren has informed him about their arrival. They reached home.

Virat: Maa... Maaa

All came in the hall including Saroj.

Saroj: Kya hua? Kyu chilla raha hai itna Cheeku?

Anu and Ritz looked at Rohit who was having serious face and it was concerning everyone.

Virat: Kya.. kya Papa ke case me doctor ne jawaab de diya tha?

His question stunned everyone except Rohit.

Saroj: Yeh.. yeh .. yeh kaisa sawaal hai Cheeku? Aur abhi.. abhi kya hai iska

Virat smiled sarcastically.

Virat: Matlab jawab de diya tha. And you all hid that from me. Apko pata hai aaj tak.. aaj tak I was blaming myself ki shayad meri aankh na lagi hoti uss din to main jaldi kisi doctor ko bula lata.. I was so drown in my own guilt that self blaming became a habit.

All had tears in their eyes. That one night has costed Virat a lot. The guilt has made him expert in overthinking and self blaming.. It has planted the insecurities which became part of him by being there in his nature. Guilt.. Self blaming became so handy that his hyperness used to start affecting him physically and mentally both which eventually used to affect him emotionally too.

Virat (shouting): Kyu nahi bataya?

Saroj: Kyuki tumhare Papa nahi chahte the Cheeku ki tumhara dhyan hate. Tum apne career me aage badh rahe the. He wanted to see you ruling the world of cricket. Unhone hum sabse waada liya tha hospital Gaye usse pehle ki jo bhi ho hum tumhe kuchh bhi bura nahi batayenge. Aur agar woh nahi lete waada to bhi nahi batate hum. It was too much for a 17 year old kid

Virat sat on the floor crossed legs keeping his elbows on his knees. All were tensed on how will he react to this. It was literally the main thing which was disturbing him since years. Virat looked at his father's photo in the hall. There was utter silence.

Anu: Vi kuchh to bolo..

Rohit: Vi please say something baba..

Rahul: Vi Bhai.. please say something. Sab pareshan ho rahe hai dekho..

There was still silence from his side. But finally Virat spoke after a while.

Virat (broken voice): I am sorry Maa.. I am sorry that you had to go through all this. I.. I know it was not easy for you and others to.. to hide this from me. You were trying to protect me and I was just pressuring you all. I am sorry for that trouble. I..

He couldn't say anything as he burst into tears. He kept his head in Saroj's lap and sobbed hard remembering those dreadful moments of that night and then how things never became simple for him even though they were. Saroj kept rubbing his back.

Saroj: Cheeku.. maaf kar do beta hume..

Virat: Nahi Maa.. I know it will take time to accept this but Acceptence Heals Maa. I'll accept jo bhi hua and uss wajah se mujse jo bhi galatiya hui.. I'll accept them and I'll be the Cheeku you all love.. Whom Papa loved the most. I promise Maa.

Saroj kissed on his forehead and again held him protectively rubbing his back showing him her full support. Rest all feel proud on Virat. They all could see he was going on the right direction.. and most importantly on the path of healing.

Rohit (whispering): Kabhi kabhi aisa kyu hota hai ki hum apno ko dukh se bachane ke liye khud hi unhe dukh de dete hai

Rahul (whispering): Hamesha aisa kyu hota hai ki log sirf dukh sehne wale apne ke bare me sochte hai.. dukh Dene Wale apne ka intention.. uski soch.. uska pain woh sab kabhi matter hi nahi karta?

Rohit looked at Rahul who went from there.
