Anu went to their room and found Virat has literally made the room mess in searching for his charger.

Anu: Vi.. Yeh kya hai haan? Aise kon karta hai? Room ka kya haal bana rakha hai yaar..

Virat: Woh charger nahi mil raha. Phone switch off ho gaya hai

Anu: Tum na betho ek jagah. Main deti hoon.

Virat sat on the bed silently and just looked at Anu who was cleaning the mess and was searching the charger with her cute and weird expressions. A small serene smile came on his face seeing her like that. He remembered when he used to deliberately hide his charger and asked Anu to find it after creating a mess and she used to do the same cute weird expressions while searching for his charger and cleaning the mess.

His trance got broken as Anu snapped her fingers in front of him.

Virat: Haan kya?

Anu: Charger.. yahi to tha Vi.. Itna mess karoge to kaise dikhega. Ab isko sambhalke rakhna

Virat (in mind): Still the same dialogue.. Hamesha yeh same cheez bolti ho tum Nushkie..

Anu saw him lost in his thoughts.

Anu: Vi.. Tum sun rahe ho na?

Virat: Haan I'll keep it properly

Anu: Vi.. you okay na? Aise khoye khoye se lag rahe ho..

Virat: Haan I am fine. Woh main bas.. bas Rah ke bare me soch raha tha

Saying so Virat went to lobby and called Rohit.

Virat: Ro..

Rohit was surprised but looked at him.

Rohit nodded in yes being amused that how Virat was talking to him normally but then even Virat too realised what he was doing and cleared his throat and went to his room. Anu came downstairs and was smiling widely and same was going for Rohit.

Ritz chuckled.

Ritz: Hasi to dekho dono ki aunty..

Saroj: Are hogi hi na. Cheeku me jaan basti hai inn dono ki. Uska naraz hona bardasht kaha hota inse.

Anu: Lekin kar lenge Maa..

Rohit: Haan Aunty.. Vi ko uski hasi wapas Dene ke liye uski narazgi bhi sahen kar lenge

Saroj caressed their hair and blessed them both.

In the evening they were going to Rahul's college in the car.

Rohit: Rah bachcha.. waha pe dhyan rakhna please. Bahut weakness aa gayi hai tumhe

Rahul: Ji bhaiya..

Virushka: All the best Rah

They both said at the same time and looked at each other.

Rahul: Waise to eye lock break karne ka koi irada nahi hai mera lekin abhi late ho raha hai. Mujhe green room me pahunchna hai so Thank you Vi Bhai and bhabhi..

Virushka blushed and looked here and there. Rohit controlled his smile.

Rohit: All the best Rah

Rahul: Thanks bhaiya..

Rahul went towards Green room and Rohit and Virushka went to sit in the reserved family seats. They were surprised to see the audience supporting Rahul and Athiya immensely. They were shipping them as #RahIya

Host: Hello and Welcome to Rising Stars. The competition where the students are given a platform to showcase their singing and dancing skills. Here we judge them on the basis of their talent in Singing and Dancing but as a pair. So now.. Ladies and Gentlemen please put your hands together for our Judges.. For Singing we have Mr Adam Jecksion the international Singing sensation and internationally recognised composer.. For Dancing we have Mr Shyamak Dawar who is an Indian International choreographer and at last we have Miss Melissa who is a renowned Director, Producer and an actor who will judge the pair as a whole like their partnership and understanding will be visible enough.. the chemistry should be heard or shown through their performances.

Host: Now please welcome our Pre - Quarter Finalists.

All clapped and the students came on the stage but the claps and cheers were loudest when RahIya came.

Rohit and Virushka were feeling proud on the kids. Sunil and Mana too were there and feeling the same. They all were sitting together.

Host: Well now you all will be thinking that you all are Pre Quarter Finalists then why this is a Quarter Final round without any elimination. So here is the twist. Looking at the level of talent we have got in the singing section which you guys have set a benchmark in the Pre Quarter Finals, the judges have raised the bar for the Dancing challenge you all will be having.

Rohit: Shit.. aaj Dancing hai aur aaj hi Rah ko weakness hai. Bandar ki tarah kude na to achchha hai

Virat: Calm down Ro..

Rohit: Why are you talking to me normally?

Virat: Because I am not like you jisko sab samaj me aaye phir bhi kuchh na bataye.

Rohit rolled his eyes at his answer.

Host: Judges.. Please do the honours and explain the challenge to the participants.

Adam: Well yes.. so guys.. Your challenge is you have to use your Pre Quarter Final performance in your Quarter Final

All were looking at him confusingly.

Shyamak: Well there is a reason your Pre Quarter Final performances were not published to the world. Because we will be using them in your Quarter Final performances.

Melissa: So.. You have to use your song which you have sung during last round as part of your performance of the Quarter Final. That song can be in the middle of your performance, can be at the end of your performance but it must not be the start.

Adam: Don't worry about the mixes of the songs. My entire tech team is here and each one of you will be having one dedicated tech person for handling the mixes of the audios.

Shyamak: And for lighting effects, VFX any other tech support for your dance performance, there will be dedicated tech person for these thinga too.

Melissa: So what are you guys waiting for? Go and plan your performances.

The participants went back stage and started working on their performances.

Host: By the time they are done with the planning, let's enjoy the journey of each duo.

So for you all, we will first show the participants' Pre Quarter Final performance and then they will give their Quarter Final performance. And on the basis of both performances plus how well they fulfilled the challenge given today, we will be getting our Next round Participants.

The camera shifted to where Rohit, Virushka and Shettys were seated and they were seen emotional but were also seen controlling their emotions. They definitely Can't fall weak before the Quarter Final performance of RahIya..

Adam: You guys know you have to incorporate this song in your dance story right

RahIya nodded in yes

Shyamak: You know this song means so much to Indian public right. I mean when you guys have sung it, We all were emotional.. And today again I am getting myself mentally ready for this.

Melissa: I am just excited to see what you guys brought to the table with mixes of your songs and really excited to see the story. I guess it will be better if we talk after the performance

RahIya nodded in yes. The set up for their performance was going on.

Athiya: R.. You are having slight fever

Rahul: I have taken meds Tia it's ok.

Athiya: Pakka na?

Rahul nodded in yes.

Host: Okay guys the set up is ready. All the very best for your performance. Ladies and Gentlemen please give a huge round of applause.

[Guys I am trying to describe the performance story with visuals, dialogues, performance and songs. Try to understand it.]

Rahul was seen on the hospital bed and Athiya was seen sitting hugging her knees. The lights blinked indicating the flashback is getting started alongwith the opening music of the first song.

The kids Rahul and Athiya were shown stealing glances of each other in school and in society. They were seen shaking hands with each other and becoming friends to best friends and finally they confessed their love

Rahul: I love you Tia..

Athiya: I love you too R..

Voice: Aap dono ka rishta Tay ho chuka hai. Mubarak ho..

The couple was seen madly in love with each other.

The sound of lightening heard and Rahul was seen holding his head faltering on his steps whereas Athiya was seen paused in the happy moments of her life. There were some unclear commotion heard which only Rahul was getting affected by indicating he was having some issue.

Again the song and their dance continued.

Voice: Rahul.. The flashes and everything you are facing are nothing but your own Forgotten Memories. They had a major impact on your brain and that's why you don't remember them but eventually you will. But your body is not ready. You are physically not fit enough in handling this mental exhaustion and that's the reason behind your health issues of frequent headaches, dizziness everything.

The dance was again resumed.

Athiya was seen happy with her and Rahul's relationship and was seen dreaming about their happily ever after and on the other side Rahul was seen all defeated with the line playing in sad version in the background.

Again the lightening sound heard with lights flashing on stage. RahIya were standing in front of each other.

Rahul: I am sorry Tia.. but you deserve someone better than me. I am putting a hold on our alliance.

An audible gasp heard from Melissa followed by Adam.

Rahul: Explore Tia. If you find someone choose him over me.

Athiya: Lekin R..

Rahul: I am giving you freedom Tia. Go.. explore.. Find someone whom you deserve..

Tears were falling from Athiya's eyes. Rahul was seen taking out the ring from her hand.

Rahul: Go.. explore..

The song started playing in the background and they were dancing separately showing their pain and helplessness.

During the performance the people watching it were getting emotional and the situation of Rohit, Virushka and Shettys were even worse as they have literally lived those events again.

Athiya wiped her tears and it was shown like Rahul's soul was with her and they both continued dancing in which Rahul was trying to go but Athiya's love was not allowing him too.

Rohit said while shedding tears which he didn't even care to wipe. Virat took him in a side hug. No matter how much he is angry with him, but he cannot stop himself from comforting him. He just feels responsible towards him.. the feeling he has always got for his father and then for Rohit.

Virat: Mere bhi taras gaye.. Rah ke liye bhi aur..

He didn't say ahead but Rohit got it. He put his hand around his shoulder rubbing his arm.

Virat (in mind): Dada..

Rohit: Calm down Baba..

Virat looked at him who was looking ahead at the performance. He got a small slight smile on his face seeing him getting his emotions even after he himself was affected because of Rahul. He instinctively snuggled more and then shifted his gaze to the performance.

RahIya were dancing in front of each other and the voice over was going in background.

Athiya's voice: Ab to tum theek ho R. Ab to apna decision lelo wapas..

Rahul's voice: I wish I could do that Tia.. Kuchh kahaniyan shayad adhoori rehne ke liye hi bani hoti hai.. Even if I want to be with you, I have no right to force you to accept me again. I haven't asked you before putting the hold.. didn't trust you.. didn't keep faith in your strength ki tum mujhe aur khud ko sambhal logi.. didn't keep faith in our love.. May be I really don't deserve you Tia.. I wish you all the best and I.. I love you forever..

Rahul and Athiya were standing back facing each other and their souls seen now dancing indicating their hearts' desire or reunion.

The faster music started playing and RahIya were dancing with their lifts and stunts and at the end Rahul picked her and twirled around and they hugged with Rahul hiding his face in the hug when the music stopped.

There was a huge round of applause. People were shouting RahIya.. RahIya..

The judges wiped their tears whereas Melissa was crying a lot and she took time to compose herself. So as Shettys, Virushka and Rohit. Anu has hid her face in Virat's embrace who was rubbing her back while occasionally wiping his own tears.

RahIya were still in a hug but it's Athiya who has held Rahul tightly. His fever has increased and he was feeling dizzy and his migraine has triggered because of the continuous fluctuations in the lights

Athiya: Chair and water please..

The college staff already knew about Rahul's health issues so they quickly brought the chair and water bottle. Athiya made him sit on the chair while still being in the hug. She made him have some water. Aman came with her bag and she took out his medicine of migraine and made him have it. His dizziness reduced and he stood up.

RohiRat ran to stage.

Rohit: You okay kiddo?

Rahul nodded in yes.

Virat: Pakka na bachcha?

Rahul: Ji bhaiya..

RohiRat looked at each other. Rohit signed him to handle Rahul. Virat took Rahul in the hug hiding his face in the hug and he once again shed his tears freely in that protective hug.

Virat: I am here kiddo. Calm down. And Rah Ghar Jake rest karna hai and no more excuses. Fever badh gaya hai bachcha.

Rohit signed Athiya to come who ran to him and hugged him tightly crying and he was handling her.

Rohit: Calm down Tia.. tumhe aise dekh ke Rah aur toot jayega.. calm down.

Athiya nodded in yes and composed herself. Rahul too composed himself and broke the hug.

Virat: You okay Tia?

Athiya nodded in yes. She and Rahul then stood at their place and RohiRat started leaving but host asked him to stay there only as Rahul was not well. RohiRat stood at a side.

Shyamak (clearing his throat): You guys okay?

Adam: Yeah he took some meds

Melissa: I guess I know. Was it migraine?

Rahul nodded in yes.

Rahul: Yeah..

His voice choked as he was still emotional. Athiya rubbed his back. Rahul cleared his throat.

Rahul: The constant fluctuations of lights

Melissa: Yeah I guess so.. and Congratulations guys.. You both again made us cry

Adam: These two are our Tregedy Kind and Queen

All chuckled.

Shyamak: Can't you guys come up with any other story? It was soo emotional.

Melissa: But I wanted the happy ending

Shyamak: You know it is said in India that the picture is not completed until there is a Happy Ending

Athiya: But we do have Sad ending stories too sir

Adam: But we wanted Happy Ending guys. I mean the Sad ending was having its own beauty but your story was soo good that we wanted A Happy Ending. The Boy is in darkness.. he left the girl who was his light.. he didn't keep faith that she could handle his darkness and when things were fine, he didn't ask her to come understanding his mistake as he didn't give her the trust she deserves and thus may be he doesn't deserve her..

Melissa: It was actually the beauty of the story. As a director, I would love this but as a fan of your story telling, I am hurt as there was no happy ending.

Shyamak: I.. I wanted to ask one thing. The slides .. they were having you guys only right?

RahIya nodded in yes..

Adam: Wait what??

Melissa: OMG..

Shyamak: Well I have guessed it in the first opening performance itself but still thought to confirm. They both know each other since childhood so obviously the understanding level is so high. Very well performed guys.. Once again nailed it

Melissa: Tell me one thing.. How did you guys manage to get the slides of the cricket match when he got hit as it was so real

Host: Because it was the real match ma'am

Adam: What?? You got hit??

Rahul nodded in yes

Shyamak: Is everything fine now?

Rahul: Yeah the recovery is going on.

Melissa: Get well soon Son..

Rahul: Thank you

Host: I guess we all know the scores but judges would like to request you to lock your scores please..

The judges instantly gave them full marks together.

Shyamak: Even though we all wanted a Happy Ending, the marks are for the story, the dancing moves, the expression and in the last portion..

Melissa: The dance of the souls were the highlight. Even when he was in hospital his soul danced and then in the end 👌🏻👌🏻 superb guys

Adam: Athiya the finese you had in your moves were amazing

Shyamak: Can't agree more. But I am still stuck at the last portion. The lifts, stunts and the last twirling was just.. it took my heart

Melissa: That too while he was having migraine issue

Host: Not only migraine ma'am.. he was having fever and it increased during the performance.. The last hug that was SHE who was standing there holding him

Judges (shocked): What???

Melissa: Can you lift him Athiya?

Athiya nodded in yes and picked him.

Athiya: He.. he has lost a lot of weight so yeah..

She said and quickly wiped the tears which fell from her eyes.

Melissa: Oh dear.. why are you crying?

Athiya tried to say but couldn't.

Rahul: She was scared for me so..

Athiya: He was feeling dizzy at the end. I.. I was scared for him.

Adam: Didn't you get scared for yourself ? He was going to lift you up

Shyamak: Exactly.. you guys could have hurt yourselves

Athiya: He can never let me get hurt

Rahul: I would get happily injured but won't let anything happen to her

They both said at the same time and looked at each other.

Melissa: Aww.. so cute..

Shyamak: It was more than cute actually.. but nevermind let's go ahead. Next time you guys will take care. If possible, keep an alternative ready

RahIya nodded in yes

Shyamak: Rohit.. Virat.. since you guys are here, I really wanted to ask you how much it affects you guys as family members to relieve those painful moments with this performance.

Rohit: Of course it's not easy and not only for me, but for all of us.. we all as a family has gone through some tough period from past few months it's almost a year now..

Virat: But we know together we can go through it

RoHul and Anu looked at Virat surprisingly. It was the first positive thing he said in past few days. The real positive Virat who though was A Walking Shop of Overthinking but his intent was always positive and they could see the changes in him.

Adam: Definitely.. absolutely..

All clapped.

RohiRat went and even RahIya went back stage.

Host ended the show asking people to start voting and commenting. Moreover as it was literally very late in night and thus they decided to go ahead with next round in a month's time.

On going back, Athiya remembered her ring was still with Rahul and she forgot to take it but now it was too late and she kept mum but was missing her biggest strength..

Rahul has already fallen asleep in the car hugging Rohit and Anu was sleeping keeping her head on Virat's shoulder. Virat looked at her and he sat nearer to her so that she could sleep comfortably. Feeling him nearer, she snuggled more.

As they reached home, Rohit picked him and took him in his room. He made him sleep properly and sat beside him caressing his hair. He checked his fever which was now between 99 - 100 and he sighed in relief.

Virat picked Anu and took her in their room. He made her lie down on the bed and was about to go when he felt a tug on his hand. She has held his hand tightly in sleep. He sat beside her and caressed her hair. He lie down beside her in the little space which was there at her side. He observed She was looking so drained because of all stress of the past few days. He cursed under his breath. He realised how badly he wanted to see her smile and to do cute, funny, weird things with him just like she always used to do. He hugged her tightly and slept thinking about when he could get those normal days back in his life.

On the next day, HulRat were ready to go for the session and was about to join others for the breakfast when Virat got Pooja's call.

Virat: Hello

Pooja: There is a change in plan. We will be having sessions in a coffee shop. Viren has not allowed to take session in hospital as Rahul was having fever at yesternight too. Having sessions in hospital can affect his physical health more. And his recovery is almost stopped right now because of this constant fever so.. Meet me at 9 AM at SS Coffee Shop

Virat: Okay

He disconnected and told everyone everything. Rahul was looking visibly relaxed that he would not need to go to hospital and it made others too relaxed that they are probably on the right track.

HulRat and Pooja met at the SS Coffee Shop. The sitting arrangements were of chairs and sofas. Pooja was already there and has booked the table where there was a two seater sofa. She gestured HulRat to take the seat.

Pooja: Good morning boys

HulRat: Good morning

Pooja: So how are you feeling today Rah.. I mean Rahul?

Rahul: Aap mujhe Rah bula sakte ho. You have been jheling me for so long now..

Pooja chuckled.

Pooja: So kya loge? Let's order something

Rahul: Aapko.. aapko session nahi Lena?

Pooja: Are kisne bola session me kuchh khana pina allowed nahi hota..

Rahul smiled slightly.

Rahul: You definitely know how to make me feel comfortable

Pooja ruffled his hair. They ordered their coffees and chit chat till their order arrived.

Pooja: So how was the Quarter Final?

Rahul: It was good

Pooja: We saw live. Kush was screaming seeing you dancing

Rahul smiled

Pooja: Waise ek baat to batao

Rahul: Ji..

Pooja: Why do you get scared of hospitals?

Rahul shivered hearing the question.  Virat held him and rubbed his arm.

Rahul: Woh.. I was too young.. a kid only..

Pooja: Tab kuchh hua tha hospital me?

Rahul nodded in yes

Virat: Will you be able to share Rah?

Rahul nodded in yes after a while.

Rahul: They.. I mean.. Uncle and Aunty.. they.. they..

Rahul closed his eyes tightly. Virat took him in a hug.

Rahul: They forgot me while going home

Pooja and Virat both were shocked hearing this.

Virat: Matlab?

Rahul opened his eyes and looked at Him.

Rahul: Kavu ke ane ke baad we all were going home from hospital. She was crying and I went to washroom. Unko laga main unke sath aaya hoon car me. But I was not with them. Jab.. jab main bahar aya aur koi nahi tha to I got scared. Maine.. maine sab jagah dhundha hospital me koi nahi dikha janne wala. I.. I was not a bad boy Bhaiya sach.

Virat hid his face in the hug rubbing his back. He could not even imagine the pain Rahul would have felt. He was getting why Rahul used to get so much time in getting along with people..

Rahul: Main bahut dar gaya tha. Uncle aunty ko ghanta bhar lag gaya tha mujhe wapas lene ane ko. I know it was a misunderstanding lekin.. I.. I was legally their.. their baby too na

Pooja wiped her tears which fell without any warning. Virat just kept holding Rahul as much tighter and closer as he could. Rahul wiped his own tears with Virat's T-shirt and broke the hug.

Pooja: Aur injections se?

Rahul: Woh ussi time pe dar ki wajah se beemar pad gaya tha aur kafi injections lene pade the to bas..

Pooja: Rah.. kiddo jo hua so hua. But now you are with people who will never leave you no matter what. Age se jab bhi aisa koi dar sataye to hamesha iss baat ko yaad karna. Your family is your strength right??

Rahul nodded in yes vigorously. He can never doubt on this now.

Pooja: Bas to phir. Focus on that always okay..

Rahul nodded in yes

Pooja: Achchha ab aaj ka session yahi complete karte hai. Ghar Jake take rest okay.

Rahul: Okay

Pooja: Yeh lo Rohit bhi aa gaya

All looked at him. HulRat were confused seeing him there

Pooja: I called him to pick Rah.

Virat nodded in yes.

Rahul hugged Rohit tightly.

Rahul: Bhaiya..

Rohit: Haan bachcha bhaiya yahi hai

He said it while rubbing his back.

Pooja: You guys can go

Rohit looked at Virat once who was looking at him with uncertainty. Rohit blinked in assurance at him and then went from there taking Rahul.

Pooja: So Mr Virat Kohli.. Shuru kare?

Virat took a deep breath.

Virat: I guess so..

Pooja: Achchha kal meds li thi?

Virat shook his head in no.

Pooja: Cool.. So kya chal raha hai dimag me?

Virat: I don't know..

Pooja: Virat.. I understand tumhe share karne me problem ho rahi hai. But let's try okay..

Virat nodded in yes rubbing his hands.

Pooja: Anushka kaisi hai?

Virat: Thodi sukoon me hai. Kal jab maine usse pehle ke jaise thoda behave Kiya to itni khush ho gayi ki kya hi batau..

Tears collected in his eyes

Virat: You know.. she is.. she is always like this. Chhoti.. chhoti baatein usko khush kar deti hai

Pooja: Kya pata yeh chhoti baat na ho?

Virat looked at her.

Pooja: Tumhe itne time ke baad normally behave karte dekhna uske liye to bahut badi baat hai na. Kab se wait kar rahi thi uska

Virat (quite angrily): To phir.. to phir why I am here ? Aisa pehli baar to nahi hua hai na ki humne normally behave Kiya ho aur aisa laga bhi ho ki sab theek hai lekin phir sab theek na hua ho

Pooja: Woh iss liye kyuki tumhara guilt kabhi tumhare man se gaya hi nahi

Virat looked at her with shocked expression.

Pooja: Virat.. tumhe ek cheez dikhati hoon..

She played a video of Anushka who was talking about her ideal married life.. She said she would like to focus on her partner and her family first before her career.

Pooja: Look se pata chal hi Raha hoga ki yeh video kafi purana hai.. itna purana that you guys didn't even meet at that time. You can check the posting time of the video

Virat checked it and it was indeed the video before they even met.

Pooja: Ab socho.. jis ladki ke liye uska partner uski family pehle se hi career se age thi woh ladki apna dream role chhode woh badi baat hoke bhi acceptable hui ya nahi? Kyuki uski priority pehle se hi set thi Virat. Iss liye usko aaj tak uss baat se koi regret feel nahi hota. Ek wish hona aur ek choice hona bahut different hai. Yes it was her wish but issi wish ko chhodna was her own happy choice.

Virat: But we could have married a year later too na

Pooja: Virat.. Agar tumhari jagah Anushka hoti to?

Virat: Isme sochna kya hai main tab ke tab hi shaadi kar leta..

Virat stopped on realising what he said.

Pooja: Virat.. koi bhi rishta thode bahut compromise, sacrifice se hi age badhta hai. Lekin hamara apsi pyaar, Samaj aur vishwas hamari takat hoti hai. Tumhe bura lage woh jayaz hai lekin guilt nahi.. Guilty feel karke kahi na kahi tum uske pyaar ki uske iss compromise ki insult kar rahe ho.. Age tumhari marzi. I won't force you.

Virat got lost into thoughts.

Pooja played the alarm sound to make him come out of the thoughts.

Pooja: Aaj ka session yahi finish karte hain. Kal milte hai yahi. And Maine Jo bola uske bare me sochna zaroor

Virat nodded in yes and they ended the session and left from there to their respective works.
