It's been few days since Simba arrived in the family but he was closest to Rahul and Rahul too used to share everything with him. He was also taking care of him very well.

On the other side, Virat tried to eat more but he ended up throwing them out. So he stopped and was again eating less. His appetite has reduced.

Virat was sitting on his bed thinking about the same thing going since years in back of his mind. There are reasons he prefers to stay more in Mumbai than in Delhi.. He prefers to stay with Rohit than his own family. He didn't say anything to anyone but he knew his family has hidden something from him since years. He tried hard to get the information but none told him.

Rahul came to his room only to find Virat was rubbing his forehead. He frowned.

Rahul: Kya hua Vi Bhai?

Virat: Nothing kiddo. Bas headache hai

Rahul: Haan to main massage kar deta hoon.

Saying so he got up and started massaging his forehead. Virat though was feeling good but he felt Rahul's hand warmer. He hold Rahul's hand and made him sit in front of him on the bed. He checked his forehead and neck with back of his hand.

Virat: Rah.. regular se thodi zyada warm hai body

Rahul: Bhaiya I was running na. Trademill pe to body garam hai. Abhi thodi der me normal ho jayega

Rahul was mentally praying that Virat did not catch his lie and he though frowned but sighed in relief when Virat bought his lie.

Rahul asked Virat to lie down and then he started massaging his forehead again and it was actually soothing that Virat fell asleep after a while.

Rahul: Lagta hai so Gaye. Ek to rest theek se karna nahi hai aur uper se pure Ghar ki tension leke ghumte rehte to headache hi hoga na. Huh..

Once he was sure that Virat is in deep sleep, he got up to go but felt dizzy. He sat on the bed for a while.

Rahul (in mind): Dr Pooja se jaldi milna hoga. Bas woh ek baar vacation se wapas aa jaye

Rahul went from there once he was feeling good.

Virat was doing some batting practice when Rohit came there.

Rohit: Vi..

Virat: Hmm..

Rohit: Kuchh hua hai kya? Tu aaj kal chup chup sa.. khoya hua dikh raha hai. Uper se you eat lesser. Dekh dubla bhi ho gaya hai

Virat: I am fine Ro

He said while not meeting his eyes with Rohit's.

Rohit: Mujhe lag nahi raha tu Fine. Is everything fine between you and Anu?

Virat nodded in yes after thinking for few seconds.

Rohit: You took time in saying yes. Something is bothering you hai na

Virat sighed but nodded in yes.

Rohit: Let's go to terrace chal. Let's have our coffee date

They both went to terrace. Kaki came and gave them their coffees and went from there. They sipped coffee and sat there. It calmed Virat a bit. He kept his head on Rohit's shoulder. Rohit started patting his head.

Rohit: Kuchh share karna hai?

Virat: I am fine Ro.

Rohit: Anu ke sath kya problem Hui?

Virat: Kuchh hua nahi hain. She is hiding something but it is bothering me.. pata nahi kyu? Pehle nahi kar raha tha lekin ab.. ab..

Virat shivered shocking Rohit. He took him in a hug.

Rohit: Vi.. calm down. Calm down baba.

Virat: Dada..

Saying so he hugged him tightly. Rohit's heart skipped a beat. He understood that Virat is disturbed beyond he has thought. He hold him protectively.

Rohit: Vi..

He stopped saying ahead and took a deep breath. He first seeked forgiveness from Prem uncle and then spoke.

Rohit: Cheeku.. bachcha calm down. Abhi chalo room me chalo aur rest kar lo okay.

Virat: Dada..

Rohit: Haan Cheeku.. Dada is here only okay chalo.

Rohit took him downstairs and made him sleep in his room. He then remembered that Anu was having night shoot today.

He then went outside the room and called Dr Pooja and asked her to meet ASAP. She agreed to come and meet tomorrow.

Rohit then sat beside Virat and started caressing his hair.

Rohit: Kya baat pareshan kar rahi hai tumhe Vi?

On the next day, Rahul has left for the college after breakfast. RohIka, Virushka and Simba were at home with little Sammy. Suddenly, Saroj aunty and Vikas bhaiya came

Saroj & Vikas: Surprise....

All were actually surprised to see them. Virushka went to them and took their blessings and so as RohIka. Ritz gave Sammy to aunty.

Saroj: Are yeh to bilkul tum dono ki combination hai. Bahut pyaari hai

Anu: Maa.. aap bata dete to main aur Vi pick karne aa jate na

Virat: Exactly Maa...Bhaiya apne bhi nahi bataya

Vikas: Are Bhai surprise tha. Waise bhi hum khas hamari gudiya ko milne aaye hai

Rohit: Phir bhi bhaiya.. bataya hota to Rah ko rok lete na. Woh college gaya hai

Saroj: Are koi na. Woh college se ayega tab mil lungi usko. Waise ab kaisi tabiyat hai uski?

Rohit: Waise to theek hai lekin memories abhi bhi disturb karti hai usko. Iss wajah se recovery bhi thodi slow hai

Vikas: Chinta mat karo ho jayega sab theek

They chit chatted for a while.

Virat went to his room as he was having a call with BCCI

Rohit: Achchha hua aap sab yahi hai. Mujhe aap logo se bahut zaruri baat karni hai.. In fact mujhe aur Anu ko.

Saroj: Aisi kon si baat hai beta?

Anu: Maa.. aap please shanti se meri baat suniyega aur please khud ko shant rakhiyega

Saroj: Beta.. aisa.. aisa kyu keh rahi ho? Sab.. sab theek hai na? Cheeku.. Cheeku theek hai na?

Anu: Maa woh..

Saroj: Tum kab se Maa bol rahi ho Anu Mom nahi. Kya baat hai Cheeku ko leke?

Tears started falling from Anu's eyes. She sat on the floor and kept her head in Saroj's lap crying.

Ritz: Akhir baat kya hai?

Anu and Rohit narrated everything Dr Pooja told them about Virat's mental health condition. Ritz, Saroj and Vikas were shocked hearing this.

Saroj: Mera bachcha.. akele hi itni takleef sahen kar raha tha aur mujhe bataya tak nahi.

She wiped her tears.

Saroj: Cheeku ko pata hai?

Anu shook her head in no. Vikas who has tears in his eyes composed himself and spoke.

Vikas: I guess we should tell him. Agar kisi aur se pata chalega to usse aur takleef hogi

Anu: I know.. I know mujhe usse bata dena chahiye lekin main.. mujhe nahi samaj aa raha ki main Vi ko kaise bolu.. kaise bolu usko that.. that he is going towards the edge of mild depression

Virat who has come downstairs to take his charger heard what Anu said in the last. The charger dropped from his hands. He was hell shocked

Virat (shocked): Edge of Mild Depression...

All looked in the direction of Virat.

Rohit: Vi..

Virat: Edge of Mild Depression.. Is it true?? Haan Ro? Nushkie.. is it true that I am not well?? Maa.. Bhaiya.. is it true??

Anu: Vi.. calm down okay

Rohit: Vi listen to me please..

Ritz: Vi calm down.

Virat (shouting): How can I? How can I calm down when my own wife was saying that I am sick.. that I am not well.

Anu: Vi.. please meri puri baat suno pehle

Virat: I don't want to listen anything. First tell me ki jo tumne abhi bola woh sach hai ya nahi? Kya mujhe.. main sach me..

Virat trailed off still processing on what he heard. Anu was crying. Rohit took a deep breath to gather himself and spoke

Rohit: It's true Vi. According to Dr Pooja's analysis regarding you and your behaviour, she concluded that you are going towards the edge of mild depression.

Virat stood there numb for a while sinking in whatever he just heard. He stumbled a little while going backwards but stabilized himself. There was complete silence for a while.

Anu: Vi..

There was silence.

Rohit: Vi.. kuchh to bol.

Still no response. He was all silent.

Virat was processing whatever he heard and whatever happened with him. He remembered all good and bad.. happy and sad memories. He felt like a failure as his own family has to hide this much big truth of his life from him.

There was again silence and only noise which was there was muffled sobs of Anu and Saroj aunty who were crying while keeping their hands over their mouths.

Virat: Ab.. ab samja..

Rohit frowned. He was not liking his tone and specially the look on his face.

Rohit: Kya samje Vi?

Virat: Yahi ki yeh sab ek natak tha. An act of pity. Daya aa rahi thi ek.. ek beemar insaan pe.. Samaj gaya main..

All were shocked hearing this.

Rohit (quite angrily): Vi yeh kya bol rahe ho tum?

Virat (angrily shouting): Sahi bol raha hoon main.. ekdum sahi bol raha hoon

Virat was shaking out of anger.

Virat (angrily): Sab ke sab dogle ho. Sab ne chhupaya mujse..

He looked at Saroj and Vikas.

Virat: Aap dono aise hi nahi aaye aaj. Yaha mujhe dekhne aaye na?? Haan bolo.. warna itne saal ho gaye kab aaye aap log yaha Milne batao?

Virat looked at Rohit.

Virat: Aur tum.. Dada.. my foot. Tumne bhi Daya hi khayi na muj pe

Rohit: Nahi Vi..

Virat: Jhooth mat bolo aur. Mujhe pata hai it was just to make me happy. Warna tumhare dil me to sirf mere liye ek friend wala hi relationship hai na.

Rohit till this point didn't know when he too has started accepting Virat as his kiddo. When he promised Virat to try to help him when he misses his father, he never thought he actually wanted to comfort Virat as a father since he got to know about Prem uncle. He wanted to protect his this kid from anything and everything.

Rohit: Aisa nahi hai Vi

Virat: Aisa hi hai Ro.. aisa hi hai..

Virat looked at Anu.

Virat: Aur tum.. tumne bhi Daya hi khayi na mujpe..

Anu was shocked hearing this.

Virat: Nushkie yaar.. kyu??

Anu: Maine koi Daya nahi khayi Vi

Virat: Yes you pity me. Sab.. sab jhooth tha.. Ro.. Ro is not Dada.. he.. he is not.. And.. and Nushkie tum bhi.. you too lied to me.. sab jhooth tha..

Anu came to him and cupped his face.

Anu (crying): Vi.. I love you.. aisa kuchh nahi hai jaisa tumhe lag raha hai please calm down.

Virat: Mat bolo aur jhooth Nushkie.. nahi sahen hoga mujse.. sab jhooth hai hamare beech ne.. sab jhooth.. (now in low voice) Mahabaleshwar me jo hua woh bhi.. it.. it was not love.. hai na.. It was pity only..

Hearing this Anu was hell shocked. She slapped him hard as she couldn't control the anger she felt hearing what Virat just said.

Anu: Have you losted??

Virat: Yes I have.. Dr Pooja ne wahi to bola tha na..

Virat started laughing.

Virat: Yes.. yes.. yes.. yes I have lost it yes..

Virat was swaying here and there saying all this. Anu tried to hold him but he jerked her hand.

Virat: Yes .. yes.. I have lost .. it.. lost it.. I have lo...

He said this much and fell on his knees feeling weakness and fell unconscious scaring hell out of everyone.
