Around 10 AM Pooja and Viren came for the regular check up of Rahul and today also Kush was with them. Kush ran to Rahul while Anu gave water to the doctor couple. Rahul picked Kush and first thing he did was to sit on the sofa beside Viren and then made Kush sit in his father's lap though continued playing with him..

Viren: It's okay if he sits in your lap

Rahul: But it's not okay if something like yesterday happens when he is in my lap

Viren nodded in understanding.

Pooja: Chale Rahul?

Rahul nodded in yes and went to his room followed by Pooja and Viren alongwith Kush. RohiRat too came but stood out of the room.

Pooja: You look better

Rahul: Didn't get triggered today

Viren: Can't you stop being practical for once?

Rahul chuckled

Rahul: Pehli baar kisi doctor ko practicality se door hone ki baat karte dekh raha hoon

Viren: Don't get into my nerves tiny kid

Rahul was about to reply but saw RohiRat at the door.

Rahul (in low voice): You should not get attached to your patient this much.

Viren (in low voice): I am not..

Pooja: Okay stop boys. Rahul you are doing good. Just follow all the diet and medication okay

Rahul nodded in yes. Pooja and Viren turned to find RohiRat at the door and blinked at them in assurance that everything is fine. They came to RohiRat.

Pooja: He is doing good.

Rohit: Great. Ab chale? Dusara kam bhi karna hai

Virat looked at him confusingly and Pooja and Viren nodded in yes and went to Virat's room. Virat and Rohit too went inside.

Virat: What are we doing here?

Anu: Vi.. I told Dr Pooja and Ro about what you were feeling

Virat looked down. Rohit rubbed his arm.

Rohit: It's normal Vi.. kisi ke bhi sath ho sakta..

Pooja: Exactly.. but you are getting it and you want to improve is the best thing

Virat: To kaise.. kaise improve karu?

He asked still somewhere not knowing what he should do and how.

Pooja: Just be yourself.. that expressive Virat.. Not this silent one. Anushka told me you have started expressing..

Virat: Haan.. I am not stopping myself now

Pooja: Then just keep doing it

Rohit: We all are with you Vi. Tumhe jab bhi jo bhi baat karni ho you know I am there..

Virat smiled and nodded in yes. Pooja and Viren went to Rahul's room and took Kush from him and then left.

In the evening, Virat and Rohit were sitting on the grass in the garden. They saw Rahul and Athiya came back home from the college as they both were having a duet singing performance for The Rising Stars. They both have got an immense response on their declaration performance from the judges as well as audience and that's why they had got a direct entry in Pre Quarter Finals. And this was organised in their college only this year, they had to go college. The organisers are yet to announce the results but all knew these two would have nailed their performance. RohiRat have noticed their red eyes and knew again both were disturbed with their relationship or rather with Rahul's decision.

Rohit: Vi..

Virat: Hmm..

Rohit: Should I ask Rah?

Virat: May be yes. He is not able to handle the situation Ro.

Rohit: Vi..

Virat: Ro..

RohiRat: Dar lag raha hai

They both were feeling a certain fear they didn't know why but they were feeling scared.

The day went like that. Both friends were trying to shrug off the fear they were feeling and trying to be as much normal as they could.

On the next day, Rahul and Ritz with Anu has gone for shopping and have come back with which looked like a entire mall is at SK Mansion

RohiRat: What the hell?

Rahul glared at them.

RohiRat: What?? Itna shopping kon karta hai?

Rahul: Maine karwaya hai meri bhabhi logo ko. Aap dono chup raho. Kitne pyaare pyaare kapde and toys the to le liye meri munchkin ke liye bhi.

Rohit: Are lekin..

He said this much when Rahul placed few bags in his hands.

Rahul: JKo mat bano. Apke liye bhi ki hai shopping

Virat: Rah it's not about shopping lekin..

Virat looked at Rohit who was already looking at him. Both sharing the same fear in their eyes which made Virat shiver. Rohit stood beside him and side hugged him rubbing his arm. Rahul who has noticed it sighed but didn't say anything. He made his bhabhis busy in some of the things. The dinner was a silent affair for RohiRat as Rahul and his bhabhis were having their own gala time with each other.

Ritz: But Rah.. you have seriously bought a lot today.

Rahul: Memories hai bhabhi.. yeh cheeze to Aaj hai kal nahi.. but the memories are something which stays with us. The time we spent together, I am gonna cherish forever

Rohit: Sara time bhabhi ke liye..

Virat: Thoda time Bhaiyas ko bhi dedo chhote nawab..

Rahul: Sorry.. bahut expensive time hai..

Rohit: So what?

Rahul: Bhaiya padhna bhi hai

Virat: Are padh lena.. bas thodi der ke liye Bhaiyas ko time de dena Rahuliya

Rahul so wanted to retort.. But can he afford? No.. he can't.. He so wanted him to call him Rahuliya for the next few days.

Rahul was lost in his thoughts and his brothers were observing all of his antics. Rohit went from there. Virat too went after him.

Ritz: Inn dono ko kya hua?

Hearing this Rahul came back to reality. He saw RohiRat were not there.

Anu: Pata nahi. Theek se khana bhi nahi khaya. But you know these two.. coffee pi hogi late dono ne. Hum log nahi the na.

Ritz, Anu and Rahul completed their dinner and went to their respective rooms. RohiRat were in study and Rahul was studying as he was having a small break till tomorrow and from the day after tomorrow, they will be starting practising for the ODIs.

RohiRat were on call with Dr Viren and Dr Pooja.

Pooja: Rahul ko kuchh yaad aya?

RohiRat shook their heads in no.

Viren: It's okay. He is taking his medication right?

RohiRat nodded in yes. Pooja sighed and directly asked.

Pooja: What do you want to ask?

Virat: What is it?

Pooja (confused): Matlab?

Rohit: Rah is hiding something. What is it? We know you both know it else how come you two by yourselves started checking him twice in a day

Viren and Pooja sighed. They knew this was coming.

Viren: Rohit.. there is nothing which is hidden from you all.

Pooja: It's just the situation which is messed up. Yes Rahul is not upto the mark physically, mentally and emotionally yes he is down but not out. I mean he is doing what he should do.

Virat: Then what's the problem doc?

Viren: You guys already know.

Rohit: Look.. waise bhi Rah ko kafi kuchh yaad aa gaya hai na. Baki ka main bata deta hoon na usko details me. Phir usko yaad nahi ayega to bhi chalega na

Pooja: Vi.. calm down baba. He just got emotionally carried away.

Viren left from there. Pooja sighed.

Rohit: Tell your husband ki Rah usme track record ko kharab nahi hone dega 😅

Pooja smiled.

Pooja: He promised us. Rohit.. Virat.. I know you guys are worried for him and even I myself is worried but we can't control things na. You guys already know everything.

RohiRat nodded in yes and cut the call. They both went to Rahul's room finding him already sleeping. RohiRat caressed his hair to which he smiled in sleep making their hearts fill with warmth and love. They both kissed his forehead and left for their respective rooms.

Next few days were quite busy as the team started with ODI series practice.. Mahi Bhai has also joined them back. Athiya and Ahan were back at their own house as their parents are back. Athiya's reports were stating that she is an anemic and her meds were started.

The only thing which was constant was an uneasy feeling which was there in their hearts not only RohiRat's but Ritz and Anu too were not having good vibes. They both knew something is gonna happen but they didn't know it will happen for good of bad.

Athiya was standing at the side of the road in the evening as her car broke. Due to strike of public transport and none was picking her call at home, she has to take lift from someone.

A car passed by her and then came back to her. The window opened and the person's face was visible. The girl rolled her eyes.

Person: Sit.. You won't find anything right now

Athiya having no other option sat in the car.

The person started the car and was going towards Shetty's.

Athiya: You knew my address Bhai chor?

So the person was none other than Harry.

Harry: I know Ahan's address Chorni.

There was a silence for a while.

Athiya looked at him confusingly but then nodded in yes.

Harry instantly pulled the break.

Athiya: R ne bataya tha baad me ki tumne uska bahut dhyan rakha. Thanks Hardik. Please age bhi uska dhyan rakhna

Athiya's eyes got teared up. When she met Harry for the first time, she was screaming that SK Mansion was her home and now.. she does not even know what that mansion is to her.. she doesn't even know whether she and Rahul can get back together or not.. frankly she wanted to fight for her love but how will she fight when her love was hell bent on breaking the relationship by putting a hold on it.. by giving a break from it..

Athiya composed herself.

Athiya: Kal kisne dekha hai Hardik.

Harry frowned hearing this but he didn't say anything more seeing her emotional. He thought to change the topic.

Harry: Woh sab theek hai lekin don't call me Hardik yaar.. sare janne pehchanne wale koi Hardik nahi bolta.. Friends Call me Harry

Athiya: But when did we become friends?

Harry: To kya aap strangers ke lift offer karne pe baith jati hai madam?

Athiya chuckled.

Athiya: Of course not. But I know you are harmless.. My brother and My Fian..

Athiya stopped on realising what she was about to say and cleared her throat..

Athiya: My brother Ahan.. aise hi kisi ko apna bestie nahi banata..

Harry: But no Hardik please

Athiya: To theek hai na.. hum log humne Jo nam diye hai wahi use karte hai na.. it's funny just like friends so

Harry: Done Chorni..

Athiya (chuckling): Done Bhai chor.

They both chuckled. The rest of the drive was smooth and Harry dropped her at her home. Athiya insisted him to come inside but he politely denied as he was getting late to reach hotel. Athiya agreed but also invited him to come whenever he is free which he accepted happily and then he left.

RoHulRat were going to join team at hotel tomorrow morning. Everyone was in their respective rooms in the SK Mansion. But they all were somewhere deep inside their hearts disturbed.

Rahul was staring at the night sky fearing about the future.. Rohit though was sleeping but his sleep was getting disturbed every now and then and he used to check Ritz and then used to caressed the baby bump. Anu was sleeping but her sleep broke and she woke up with a jerk feeling uneasy..

Anu: Vi...

She looked at Virat who was sleeping. She hugged him to which he held her protectively in his sleep. Anu kissed his forehead and kept her head on his shoulder and slept. Virat opened his eyes as he felt Anu's lips and looked at her and smiled. His gaze then fell on the picture of him, Rahul and Rohit and the intuition of something bad is gonna happen again came at front. He was feeling scared. His intuitions were never wrong. And the worst part was it was way too much similar to the feeling he felt when he lost his father. He has already added an extra layer of security for everyone but the restlessness was still there.

RoHulRat joined the team on the next day and Mahi could see the restlessness of his brothers. They explained their feelings and he could also understand it too as he himself has felt it before RohiRat met with accident. Though he motivated RohiRat, he knew it's not easy to ignore this type of uneasiness.

Rahul was determined to enjoy the ODI series to the fullest as after that his sessions will be started and he doesn't know how long it will take.. hell he didn't even know whether he would need sessions or not..

Rahul (in mind): Rah.. what are you doing? Itna lamba kon sochta hai.. Your race is against Time buddy and you don't have much time.. better you enjoy the game..

England have won the Toss and they have elected to ball first.

Rahul: Bhaiya.. aaj na jam ke dhoyenge

Rohit chuckled.

Rohit: Jaisi chhote nawab ki agya

All chuckled hearing this but RohiRat were happy seeing Rahul happy. He was being a goof ball from past few days and was always happy. They were craving to see him happy and always smiling since so many years and now when he was happy.. was enjoying his life.. They couldn't stop themselves from shrugging the bad feeling.

RoHul went to open and as Rahul has said, both were attacking the England bowlers. Both soon completed their Half centuries and Rohit was now nearing to his century.

Rohit hit five 6 and one 4 in an over. Rahul was jumping and clapping at every shot of Rohit. He was enjoying a lot. They both have added 150 runs to their partnership when Rohit was playing on 95. Broad attempted a wide Yorker which Rohit made a full toss and hit for six reaching his century. Rahul jumped and ran to Rohit and hugged him tightly.

Rahul.: I am so happy Bhaiya.. kya mast dho rahe ho aap.

Rohit was happy seeing his good ball this much happy. He always wanted to see his Chhotu this much happy and him being the reason of his happiness was cherry on the top.

Rohit: Mere bhai ne.. mere Chhotu ne pehli baar mujse kuchh manga tha.. You wanted to replicate our partnership and My Century na.. see I fulfilled that promise

Rohit said it while cupping his cheek. Rahul smiled widely and again jumped and hugged Rohit showing his happiness. Rohit ruffled his hair and then they again started playing but their moment was shared on Big Screen too and the crowd was all Awww over RoHul. But little did everyone knew that someone has heard Rohit calling Rahul Chhotu..

Rahul too completed his century soon and acknowledged the appreciation from the crowd and dressing room and specially from his Bhaiya. He then kissed his Holy Thread without fail. No matter the status of his relationship with Athiya, she has been an important part of his life and he cannot forget to appreciate her for being there for him always.

RoHul put a stand of 210 for the first wicket when Rahul got out after his 100. Virat joined Rohit and RohiRat played their own game making India's total reach to 375 at the end of 50 overs. In response, England team got all out in 290 runs. Rohit was selected as Player of the Match and he dedicated the century to his brother.

Rohit: I would like to dedicate this century to my brother who has asked for the replication of the way we batted in our last tour to England and me scoring century and it happened today. Also his birthday is coming, how can I not give him this gift..

Rohit has said cheekily in the post match presentation.

The second ODI was no different if we talk about English team.. India batted first but this time, It's HulRat who scored centuries. Mainly Rahul's power hitting and his brilliance in the field was becoming the difference between the two teams.

It was the night before the third ODI.. India was again at the edge of making history by whitewashing the series.

Rohit was feeling uneasy and was rubbing his chest every now and then. Virat though was sitting on the bed with AC at the lowest temperature but he was still sweating.. Ritz and Anu both were at Home and were trying to sleep but they were unable to. Rahul has fallen asleep due to effect of medicines when his sleep broke and he woke up with a jolt feeling disturbed.

Rahul without thinking much went out of his room and went towards Rohit's room.. He was about to go inside when Virat came out of his room. They both looked at each other and quickly averted their gazes as none wanted the other to know about the inner turmoil they were feeling. They both went inside Rohit's room and found he was about to come out.

Rahul: Sath me so jate hai na. Akele neend nahi aa rahi

He said so cutely that RohiRat instantly agreed and they slept while cuddling to each other.

But on the other side, Athiya was tossing here and there on the bed thrashing her legs and hands. Because of it, her hand hit the water jug on the side table and it fell and broke causing the noise of breaking the glass. Sunil, Mana and Ahan ran inside her room only to find her sweating and involved in the nightmare.

Athiya: R.. R.. no.. R..

Sunil: Tia.. beta wake up bachcha.. kuchh nahi hai..

Mana: Sab theek hai Tia.. utho beta..

Ahan: Sis wake up for Jeez yaar..

Sunil (shouted): Tia wake up..

It broke Athiya's nightmare and she woke up with a jolt. She was looking hell scared.

Sunil: Tia bachcha.. kuchh nahi hai.. sab theek hai..

Athiya (scared): R.. R.. Appa.. R..

Sunil: Rah theek hai bachcha

Athiya: No.. no.. Mujhe R ke paas Jana hai..

Mana: Tia.. kal series finish ho jayegi, phir woh free hi hoga. Abhi so jao okay

Athiya: No.. mujhe R ke paas Jana hai.. Amma.. Appa please.. Mujhe.. R ke paas Jana hai please..

She was so scared that she was breathing heavily and Mana and Sunil were trying hard to calm her but it was not helping her much.

Ahan tried to call Rahul but his phone was not reachable and so as RohiRat's numbers.

Ahan: Ro Anna.. Vi Anna.. Jeez kisi ka bhi phone nahi lag raha

Mana: Kisi aur ka number hai kya?

Ahan called Harry who picked up when almost all rings were done.

Harry (sleepily): He.. lll..o

Ahan: Hello.. Harry.. Ahan bol raha hoon..

Harry frowned and sat on the bed.

Harry: Ahan..

Ahan: Haa.. woh main kab se Ro Anna, Vi Anna and Rah Je.. Bro ka number try kar raha hoon nahi lag raha..

Athiya: R.. R... Mujhe R ke paas Jana hai

Harry heard Athiya's voice in back ground.

Harry: What happened?

Ahan: Ek.. ek emergency hai. Please meri baat Kara do unse

Harry: Haan ek minute main room me dekhta hoon

Harry ran to Rahul's room first but found it empty. He then ran to Rohit's room and sighed as he saw RoHulRat there sleeping. But he remembered Athiya's and Ahan's words. He started shaking Rahul to wake him up.

Harry: Rah wale up idiot. It's an emergency

Harry was shouting and it woke RoHulRat up.

Rahul: Kya hai Harry? Already lagi padi hai yaha aur tu sone nahi deta.

Harry: Ahan ka call hai. Koi emergency hai

Hearing this sleep flew away from RoHulRat's eyes. Rahul snatched the phone from Harry's hand.

Rahul: Hello Ahan

Ahan: Jeez.. please come home. Di is very much scared. Woh Amma Appa se bhi nahi sambhal Rahi. Please..

Rahul (shocked): What??

RohiRat: Kya hua?

Rahul: I am coming Ahan

Hearing this RohiRat quickly got down from the bed and Virat ran to his room to take his wallet and car keys and Rohit took his wallet. Rahul gave Harry's phone to him and took some deep breaths to calm himself.

Rohit: Harry.. hume ane me late ho jaye to sab ko bata dena emergency ki wajah se gaye hai okay

Harry nodded in yes and then Virat came.

Virat: Let's go

RoHul nodded in yes and they went from there. Virat was driving and Rahul was mentally praying while sitting on the back seat holding his holy thread.

Rohit: Kya hua Rah?

Rahul: Bhaiya.. woh Tia.. nightmare aya hai.. dar gayi hai bahut.. Amma aur Appa ne bahut koshish ki lekin nahi sambhal Rahi.

RohiRat looked at each other as they both have again started getting scared. The feeling was taking control over them. Their trance got broken when a loud horn noise came and Virat saw a truck was coming in their direction at a faster speed. They were about to collide when he quickly turned the stearing saving them from collision and then pulled the brakes on time. But that incident broke the holy thread tied on Rahul's hand as he was holding it and due to this sudden incident the thread was pulled and got broken. But Rahul hold it in his hand.

RoHulRat sighed in relief.

Virat: You guys okay?

RoHul nodded in yes.

Rohit: You okay?

Virat: Yeah.. let's go and kisi ko batane ki zarurat nahi kya hua Aaj

RoHul nodded in agreement. They reached at Shetty's and Rahul ran inside followed by Rohit. Virat parked the car and he too ran inside.

Rahul reached at Athiya's room and was shocked to see her state. She was sweating and was crying.. she was just taking his name.. her breathing too was uneven. Her condition broke his heart. The thread from his hand fell. Rohit came to Rahul and put his hand on his shoulder. Rahul looked at him. Rohit signed him to handle Athiya. He shook his head in no with teary eyes. Virat reached there and saw Athiya's state. Rohit looked at him and shook his head in no. Virat came to Rahul.

Virat: Go Rah.. She needs you.

Rohit: At the moment she needs you Rah. Go..

Rahul gulped down and went to Athiya. Sunil and Mana allowed him to sit beside her on the bed.

Rahul: Tia..

Athiya looked at him and hugged him tightly crying hard. Rahul held her protectively while rubbing her back and caressing her hair.

Rahul: Tia..

Athiya: R.. R.. You okay na? I am scared..

Rahul: I am here Tia.. kuchh nahi hua. Calm down baba..

Athiya: No.. no..

Rahul: Shhh.. I am here only okay. Sleep.

Athiya was still crying not leaving him for a moment. Rahul looked at other side as his own tears were falling seeing her this much broken.

Rahul (in mind): Why did we fell for each other why? Why God always want him to be the reason of everyone's pain that too whom he loves unconditionally? First he hurted his brothers during fight and then His love.. He broke them all.. And now.. instead of taking care of them all and making up for the pain they have endured, he will be again giving them pain.. pain of separation..

Rahul instinctively looked at Rohit who was standing there at a corner. Rahul could not imagine what will happen to him when he had to endure the pain of separation once again. He looked at Virat who himself was looking weaker. He doesn't know what has happened to him but he has become thiner and quite weaker than he was. Though he was much better after the break down but he was still not looking all good. But leave everything else, he didn't know how Virat will accept the separation from his first kiddo.

Rahul's breath hitched with all the overwhelming emotions he was feeling and he started coughing bringing everyone to the present from their thoughts. Athiya got panicked and started rubbing his back. Rohit made him drink water. His mere presence around him was giving Rahul strength. He looked at Virat who just asked him whether he is fine or not with his eyes to which Rahul smiled a little. He could still see the same faith in his eyes which he has seen when he met him for the first time. The faith which has been his one of the biggest strengths. He looked at Rohit who was having the same love in his eyes which was there when he came to know about their relationship.. at that time even though they both were shocked.. even though Rohit was not sure on how to embrace the reality.. not sure on how to go ahead.. even though he was all blank.. his eyes were holding the love for his younger brother which has made Rahul started expecting things from him when he was not well.. It was his love which made Rahul wanted him to be around even though he was not properly reciprocating it.. Rahul looked at Athiya who has hold his hands with the same assurance which he has felt when they both met for the first time.. The love they have.. The bond they share is still the same.. He remembered Ritz and his little munchkin.. He remembered how he instantly connected with them.. He remembered Anu who has always been supported her and gave her unconditional love and support of an elder since his debut.. He remembered his team members who have been so much protective towards him.. they were ready to do anything for his well being and he himself has witnessed it in T20 series and was witnessing it in ODI series too..

Rahul (in mind): No.. I can't.. I am just not allowed to.. I'll.. I'll fight.. I cannot leave them.. No matter what the situation will be.. I will fight and that's my final decision.. Now there is no looking back.. I will fight for the people who love me.. I will fight and will come back to you all.. I promise..

Rahul finally was able to make Athiya sleep in the early morning. Even he fell asleep as his head has started aching because of the heaviness of the medicines. Rest all too were still there.

Sunil: Bachcho ko aise hi rehne do. Agar zara sa bhi hilaya aur uth gaye to phir se neend nahi ayegi

Rest all agreed and went from there. Ritz and Anu too have come there to see Athiya after getting to know about whatever happened.

Ritz: Kal ka din hi kharab tha.

Virat: Kyu?

Anu: Nothing.. mujhe aur Ritz ko bhi neend nahi aa rahi thi. Ajeeb sa lag raha tha

Ritz: Ek pal ko to saans hi atak gayi thi hamari.. Aisa laga jaise sab chhut gaya

RohiRat looked at each other remembering their escape from the accident. They both sat beside their respective wives and side hugged them not knowing whether they were providing comfort or seeking the same.

Rahul came downstairs around 10 AM. He was surprised to see Ritz and Anu there.

Rahul: Mumma.. Bhabhi aap dono yaha..

Ritz: Athu kaisi hai?

Rahul: She is sleeping. Hum logo ko ab nikalna hoga na hotel ke liye iss liye main aa gaya..

Anu: Aur tum kaise ho?

She asked while crossing her arms and standing in front of him. Seeing her like that Rahul gulped down. Rohit though was sitting on the sofa but he himself too couldn't control from gulping down. Anu in this stance is literally scary for Sharma brothers and a smile came on Ritz and Virat's faces.

Rahul didn't say anything but looked down. Anu took him in a hug hiding his face allowing him to fall weak.

Rahul: Woh theek nahi hai to main kaise theek ho sakta hoon..

Ritz came to him and caressed his hair. Rahul broke the hug and looked at her and then his gaze fell on the bracelet she was wearing and a smile came on his face.

Rahul: I am fine. I mean of course not fully but I'll be fine.

Ritz: That's like my boy. Everything will be fine Rah. Just have faith okay

Rahul nodded in yes and all could see the determination in his eyes but for what they still didn't know.

RoHulRat took the leave from Shettys and were about to get into car when they heard Athiya calling Rahul.

All looked at her. She ran to Rahul and hugged him tightly.

Rahul: Match khelne ja raha hoon jung ladne nahi..

Athiya glared at him. She then tied the holy thread on his wrist again.

Rahul: Yeh pata nahi kab gir gaya

Athiya: It's okay

Ritz came forward and kissed on his forehead followed by Anu who too did the same.

Ritz: Stadium jate waqt thodi der rest kar lena.

Rahul nodded in yes.

Virat: Haan haan.. Sara pyaar apne dever ko hi do dono. Patiyo ki to koi value hi nahi hai

He joked which made the heavy atmosphere quite light as everyone chuckled.

Rohit: Pati log to aise hi hai

Rohit too joined and everyone laughed.

Rohit: Chhote nawab sahab ab chale?

Rahul nodded in yes. He was about to go but stopped as his thread was stuck in Athiya's bracelet. Anu was being restless seeing the events. She looked at Virat whose expressions were the same. Rohit again rubbed his chest feeling disturbed. Ritz was standing there with fists in both hands to control herself.

Rahul gently untangled the bracelet and the thread. He turned to go but Athiya has hold his hand. Rahul looked at her.

Athiya: Take care..

Rahul nodded in yes and gently removed her hold and quickly sat in the car. He looked at Sunil who hold Athiya and gave him an assuring nod. Virat was about to start the car but stopped and looked at Anu.

Anu: Take care..

Virat nodded in yes and drove off. As they were quite far from Shetty's house, Rahul's tears started falling. Rohit took him in a hug allowing him to break down. Rahul even though was ready to fight but the fear in everyone's eyes was making him weaker. He was being all strong till date but now he was not able to hold back. He wiped his tears and looked at Rohit forwarding his hand.

Rahul: Promise me Bhaiya.. aap apna aur baki sab ka dhyan rakhoge.

Rohit: Rah.. achanak se kya bol rahe ho?

Rahul: Bhaiya please..

Rohit: I promise..

Rohit seeing him anxious promised him. Rahul looked at Virat who was looking at him through mirror.

Rahul: Hamesha strong banna zaroori nahi hota. Sometimes you need to break down and let your emotions take control over you.

Virat averted his gaze and continued driving. Rahul sighed and spoke.

Virat nodded in yes and Rahul again hugged Rohit.

They reached hotel and got freshen up and got ready for going to stadium. Mahi was anxious for his kiddos and seeing them anxious was making him more disturbed.

All have boarded the bus. Rahul was with Harry and Jassi.

Harry & Jassi: Haan..

Jassi's heart was beating at a faster pace. Harry was feeling uneasy hearing thanks from Rahul.

They reached stadium and got ready for the practice. India lost the toss and England has asked them to bat first. Rahul and Rohit were getting ready. Rahul was wearing his gloves when his gaze fell on his wrist.. the holy thread was missing. He smirked sarcastically.

Rahul (in mind): Apko mere sath games kyu khelni hai aaj bhagwan ji.. khelna hai to cricket khelo na.. aise kyu emotional games khelte ho.. But agar aap ki yahi marzi hai to yahi sahi. I have not missed the signs. I am not having any good feeling about today and so as my Bhaiyas. But we all are fighting for US. And This time I am not gonna let you win.. Main mere pariwaar ko aur pyaar ko ab aur takleef nahi dunga.. Jo chahe karna hai kar lo.. I am not gonna leave them today.. I'll fight.. I'll fight till my last breath.

Rahul: Bhaiya.. dhona hai haan aaj inko

Rohit chuckled.

Rohit: Chal dhote hai phir..

It was time for national anthem. All were standing but today it was Rahul standing beside Rohit instead of Mahi. Mahi himself didn't know why but he was not able to keep Rahul away from Rohit. He just made him stood there by himself at the last moment.

The national anthem was being played. Rahul remembered all his beautiful moments with his family and specially with his Bhaiyas. Tears collected in his eyes. But there was a smile on his face. As it was completed, he looked at Rohit who took had glossy eyes. Both just hugged each other.

RoHul broke the hug and chuckled and took him too in the hug.

RohiRat looked at him who was looking at them with different fire in his eyes. They both too felt motivated and shrugged off all the negative thoughts they were having and got ready to win this match.

As the Indian innings started, RoHul started hitting boundaries. They were literally raining boundaries. But at the same time, they were playing risk free cricket. All the shots were spot on. Today Rahul was on ultra aggressive mode. Virat was jumping and cheering for RoHul the most and surprisingly today the entire team was doing almost same. Even Mahi was not able to keep his calm and was out in the dug out since the start of the innings and was clapping enthusiastically in appreciation for each shot.

England team was in a huddle.

Jos: We need wickets guys. Rahul is nearing his century. Rohit has already scored his half century and the entire batting is still there. I am feeling trouble in my thigh and I am going to dug out but you guys have to fight okay. We have to win this match.

Ben: Okay you don't worry.

Jos nodded in yes and went to dug out. Bairstaw took the keeping. Ben Stokes was in slip fielding position. Rahul was at strike.

Ben came to Jhonny Bairstaw.

Rahul was shocked hearing this and the ball came to him at the same time beating him. All were surprised on how he got beaten on that normal ball. Rahul looked at Rohit who asked him what happened to which Rahul smiled at him making him smile. He then looked at Virat who was smiling at him which made him smile. Rohit again rubbed his chest and looked in the dug out at Virat. Virat just showed him a thumbs up signing him to be positive and he nodded in yes.

Ben and Bairstaw were slowly saying Chhotu while going around Rahul totally making sure that their voices are not heard in stump mic.

Rahul faced the next ball and hit it for 6 and then rest balls went for 4s. Rohit was clapping and jumping as with the last 4, Rahul's century too was completed. The brothers hugged each other tightly. It was not just a century for Rahul. It was the assurance that if he fights back for his family, he is gonna get back to them. An assurance that His Bhaiyas are his strength in any situation.

As the over got completed and Rahul was going to non stricker's end and Ben was going to take the run up while passing by Rahul.

Rahul: Plan flopped mate.

Ben glared at him.

Rahul: When you don't know what you are doing just don't do it. Else you have to regret it in future. You are here to play cricket, play it. Don't make it personal or dirty else you only would not be able to forgive yourself. Please stop whatever you are doing. Let the match get over, I'll personally come and let you know the reason why I am saying all this.

Ben went from there in attitude. Rahul shook his head at his antics. Rohit smashed Ben for 20 runs in his over.

Rohit: Kya bol rahe the tum usko itna?

Rahul nodded in yes and went to take strike. Virat was watching the match when suddenly he felt his breath hitched. His heartbeats rose. Rohit's heart skipped a beat when he was standing at the non stricker's end. He started breathing quite heavily. Rahul's head has started aching as he was continuously hearing Chhotu from other people and was able to hear some whispers even though the crowd was cheering so hard. Rahul anyhow completed the over with 10 runs with a mistimed 6 and 4. Rohit too somehow managed to end the next over with 12 runs in which two sixes were included.

England team was in huddle. Ben Stokes was fumming in anger as his plan has backfired. He has come to know that calling Rahul Chhotu is prohibited in ICT and he was calling him that only without knowing the consequences of the same.

Ben: Mark.. You will bowl the next over and I don't want any ball with less than 145kmph

Mark nodded in yes.

Rahul was at strike. Virat was coughing every now and then as his breathing was getting hitched and he was getting quite difficulty because of the uneasiness he was feeling. Rohit's heart was beating faster than needed. Him taking heavy breaths to calm himself was visible to all. Rahul show a thumbs up to Rohit to which he nodded in yes. He was not gonna leave his brother today.

Rahul took the strike and Mark bowled the bouncer which Rahul hit for the 6. Mark also could not stop himself from appreciating the shot to which Rahul gave him a cheeky smile. Ben glared at both of them. But then he remembered something and once again without knowing the consequences, he decided to try that.

Ben went to Bairstaw and started singing.

Though Ben was singing in his ascent, The effect of the song was still the same on Rahul. He was numb at his place. He tried to calm himself but he was too late in that as he has started getting flashes. Two kids who were sleeping woke up and were looking at the fight of the elders which was by now has become much more intense. Some dirty words too have been exchanged. The younger kid was clinging onto the elder one.

"Agar aisa hai to hum chale jate hai yaha se. Rahul bhi hamare sath hi jayega. Apko tension lene ki zarurat nahi"

The lady came and picked Rahul quite harshly. Rohit was trying hard to not let her take his brother but was not able to. Rohit has hold Rahul's hand.

Rohit: Chhotu.. Chhotu.. Bua ji.. mat jao Chhotu ko leke.. Chhotu..

Rahul was crying hard.

Rahul: Bhaiya.. Bhaiya..

Rahul was wriggling to get out of the hold of her aunty but was not able to. Rohit tried to pull Rahul down but her Aunty jerked his hand making him fall and he got hit near his eye.

Rahul (shouted): Bhaiya...

Flashes Ends--

Rahul's head started aching badly. He was sweating like hell. The shooting pain in his head was making him feel dizzy. Rahul quickly show his hand to bowler to stop the balling and took off his helmet. But Mark who was about to ball got stumbled as Rahul show his palm to stop and he fell but ball got down from his hand and bumped at the place where it was getting bounced and it bounced. Rahul has gone quite side ways and sat on his knees with thud.

Rohit and rest all from dug out saw Rahul's state and instantly got he got triggered.

Rohit (shouted): Chhotu..

Rohit ran towards Rahul taking off and throwing his bat, helmet, gloves in the middle. Virat who was already padded up ran inside without thinking about anything. Ben Stokes was surprised to see Rahul's condition.

But before anyone could reach Rahul, The ball which was bounced hit Rahul and he fell on the ground. Rohit reached to Rahul and took his head in his lap.

Rohit: Chhotu.. Chhotu..

Rahul (with heavy breaths): Ahh.. bha.. bhaiya..

Rahul's gaze fell on Rohit's face and he forwarded his hand to his face. Rohit hold his hand. Virat reached there.

Virat: Rah..

He signed for the stretcher.

Virat: Rah calm down bachcha.. bhaiya hai yaha

Rohit: Haan Chho.. Bhaiya.. bhaiya hai yaha Rah..

Rahul's eyes were getting closed but he pushed himself harder to keep them opened. He caressed the stitches mark Rohit had above his eye.

Rahul (with heavy breaths): Bhaiya.. Ek.. ek baar..

Rohit: Rah calm down.

Rahul (with heavy breaths): Ek baar.. Chhotu.. Chhotu bolo na.. Ple.. please..

Rohit (while caressing his hair): Chhotu..

Rahul smiled and he hold Rohit and Virat's hands. Virat caressed his hair.

Virat: Kuchh nahi hoga Rah..

Rahul felt his body was getting weaker and weaker. He was barely able to keep his eyes opened.

Rahul: I.. I tried.. I.. I fought.. But.. but..

Rohit: Rah kuchh nahi hoga bachcha. Calm down.

Virat: Bhaiyas ke hote hue Rah ko kuchh ho sakta hai kya Haan.. kuchh nahi hoga bachcha..

RohiRat hold Rahul's hand more tightly to give him assurance. Whatever the situation is but he was still a kid who was fighting with his own Forgotten memories.

Rahul (with heavy breaths): Aap.. aap dono.. jab.. jab.. jab bachcha bolte ho na.. bahut.. bahut achchha lagta hai..

Saying so Rahul again took a heavy breath and closed his eyes.

RohiRat (shouted): Chhotu/Rah..

Okay so Rahul remembered the incident which somewhere was the main cause of everything.

So the current situation is His weak body was facing the worst blow of the worst memory and on top of that, he got hit with the ball on his head. Let's see what happens next.
