This is a brand new idea that I haven't posted on any of my previous chapters for a new GB fanfic (1) with a potential excerpt from the book :

Four years.

It's been four years since Sang has seen her boys. They left for a month long mission and never came back. She waited for a while, and tried to figure out what happened to her boys. But the Academy refused to let her into their section of the hospital because she wasn't officialy Academy. Erica and Jessica had moved away apparently while Uncle was taking a vacation. 

Sang wasn't stupid, she knew that they were being protected by the Academy because the mission the boys were working on was dangerous. They were their family.

But what did that make her?

After one more devastating event, Sang couldn't deal with her life anymore.

She sold all her belongings, packed up a bag of stuff she kept and left. Using her Ghost bird identity, she did what she always wanted to do. Help people! She hacked into the Academy and every call for help they ignored because it was too dangerous she took it. 

She made friends, she made enemies. But most importantly, she didn't have to be Sang anymore.

She never gave a name, but people on the sreet gave her one. Depending on the city or place, the descriptions of her varied, but one things stayed the same. They all could agree that this girl was batshit crazy.

What would happen if finally after four years of no contact the Blackbourne Team comes back from their mission?

Erica and Jessica move back. Uncle comes back from his extended vacation. All of them come back only to find Sang gone. All of them thought that the Academy had her, but they don't. 

To what length will the Blackbourne Team go to get their bird back? 

And is she even the same bird they all left behind?

"Where is Sang?" the Blackbourne Team had shown up to the Academy hospital after finding Sang disappeared.

The Academy Council sighs, and Dr. Roberts speaks up, "We don't know."

"What do you mean you don't know where Sang baby is?" yells North.

Another man on the council, Mr. Bubbles, rubs his eyes tiredly, "It's not for lack of trying. Something happened to your bird, that set her off. She has complete access to the Academy server by hacking into it. She is a complete wild card."

Dr. Roberts explains, "If you want to find her, find the most dangerous mission. Look for the places where the people suffer the post. Then, listen to reports for a crazy woman and you have found Sang. She goes by whatever name they give her, the Joker, Harley Quinn. The only thing the reports agree upon is that this bird is either the most brave bird ever or she has a serious death wish."

"What have we done?" is the only question on the minds of this Team. They all knew they were to blame for this all.

The night that Owen's father killed his mother, several other things happened. His father attempted to go back and kill Owen to hide the evidence of his first murder. Lastly, Sang's father took her from the scene of the crime and spirited her away.

Owen searched for his little darling for years, never being successful. He made a new family, never ever forgetting his little angel. The Blackbourne Team is now the most successful team in the history of the Academy. They take the most risky missions and always succeed.

Recently, they have just been given their hardest mission left. The details are classified, but it involves infiltrating the most violent, threatening mafia in the current world. Their cover is blown about a month into the operation by someone from their past.

They thought they would die, seeing no way out of it. No one expected Owen's little darling to pop in and get them out, much less for her to save them.

Who truly is Sang?

What has happened to her in the past years?

This is how it is going to end. We are all going to die! There is no fucking way out of this.

The man currently pointing a gun in our faces takes off the safety, "Die Traitors!"

No way is this mission fucking worth dying for. I don't care how many favors we would get for this. I knew this was a bad idea. At least, the Toma Team's cover isn't blown. They could finish it.

"Now, now, what is going on here?" a bird's voice pierces the silence.

The man looks annoyed, "What are you doing here? We have no need of your skills, puta!"

The most beautiful bird walks by, "Is that any way to talk to a lady, Pierro?"

Pierro is pissed, "Get out of here."

The bird pulls out her own gun, "I don't think so, Pierro. These boys are mine now."

Wait what?

She gestures to my brothers who all have bags over their head, "Take them off. If you want to kill them, go through the Boss."

I am relieved to see that my brothers are doing fine, but Mr. B looks kind of out of it as he stares at the bird, "Darling?"

He knows her?

The bird walks over to him, "Owen, I saved your life once. You didn't think that I would let you die so easily."

What the fuck?!

That's not even the beginning for the problems for the remaining of the Blackbourne Team. There is one little fact that changes the game.

Our dearest Sang is a mafia Princess.

I groan, "You are all a bit slow, aren't you? I have been dating your Owen for the past year. Now, what the hell happened to him? He might be thought of as a cold, emotionless robot, but he is my cold, emotionless robot. I know he wouldn't leave without good reason."

An older gentleman took control of the conversation, "Why should we trust you?"

"Because if no one tells me anything, I am getting my father and no one wants that."

The night that Owen's mother was killed, it wasn't really her. She had hired a look-alike in order to go visit her family secretly in order to leave her abusive husband. Sadly, luck wasn't on her side. When she returned, her look-alike was dead, her husband too while her son is missing in action.

Assumed dead, Owen's mother is forced to wait in order to be reunited with her son. Meanwhile, she accepts her family business as her brother gives it to her. It's called "The Institute", it's a private company that does the same thing as the Academy by killing and have a slightly different moral compass.

Back in Greece, there is Sang who is suffering terrible abuse from the hands of her stepmother. Her only relief are her best friends, North and Silas. One day, her stepmother catches her with her boys and attempts to kill them and her. Sang couldn't let that happen and kills her step-mother.

Immediately recruited by the Institute, Silas, North and Sang make a team. Uncle and Luke reach out too late to find North. For several years, the Ghost Team are the most successful in The Institute. Trusted even by the head, she gives them a mission precious to her heart. They are to track down her son. She has been receiving threats about him dead along with someone called Axel Toma.

Sang isn't one to back down from a challenge and where she goes her boys follow.

What will happen when both meet?

Who will win when their opposing morals collide?

The bird besides the two dogs replies, "Simple enough, I want Owen Blackbourne.

Dr. Roberts speaks up, "I already said no."

She smirks smugly, "Give up Owen Blackbourne and I could tell you exactly where your daughter is."

All heads turn to Dr. Roberts. We all knew how much he missed his daughter.

But he stands strong, "No!"

The bird sighs dramatically and turns to Luke, "I could tell you where your older brother North is, Lucian."

Mr. B questions her, "Who wants this Owen Blackbourne?"

She faces him, "His mother, of course."

Then, all hell broke loose.

Ashley Waters High School was basically nothing short of hell.

Several students ran the school: Greg, Rocky, Will, Kayli, Jade and Danielle. They were the top of the top, you cross them and you will find yourself dead. This was the truth of the school when Sang was forced to come in her junior year of high school when Marie was sent to a private school.

She arrived and changed them all for the better. The four of them still got pulled into the drug trade, but Sang made sure they never got too deep in. She had a huge heart and wished to help the entire school. Slowly but surely the entire school from freshmen to senior began to respect her, and without realizing it Sang, ruled the school. Anything she wanted would happen and if you messed with her, you would never be see again.

Sang was supposed to come back senior year, but never did. Meanwhile, the Blackbourne Team was sent back to the school for senior year to investigate and work on the school. They had gone here for junior year, but took a break for sophomore year. It was different than they expected. The principal  Hendricks and  vice-principal McCoy were still corrupt, but the students were a different matter. It was strangely silent in the school, as if it was in mourning for what though?

All of the Academy came to see this mourning school where no one would speak, sports were done in silence and everyone wore black or pink. 

The leading group knew all about the Academy thanks to Will's skills with the computer. They knew about Sang being a ghost and how no one but the students would miss her. Everyone was determined to help her.

They confronted the entire Academy and were willing to give up everything about the drug trade if they found Sang. Several teams were sent after her, desperate for a ghostbird and to close this huge case.

But what truly happened to Sang?

Will anyone be able to save her?

Dr. Roberts recovered, "It's like nothing I have ever seen before."

Lily Anderson from another team who came to see stated, "It's like they are all in mourning."

North scowls, "But who died?"

Kota adds, "And how were they so respected that the entire school including the new freshmen act as if their mother is dead?"

Kota was gone. 

That was a fact, there was no changing it. How to get him back from them though? And who took him? That was the debate happening between the members of the Blackbourne Team as Owen was deep in thought.

He stood up abruptly, "I can get him back."

Sean looks at him hopeful, "How?"

Owen takes out his phone, "Please be quiet."

Everyone stares at him as he calls a number on his phone. Who is this person who can get their Kota back?

A female voice comes over the phone, "Owen, I am kind of in the middle of something."

Who is this girl? How close are they for her to be calling him Owen?

Owen sighs, "Sorry, darling, this is urgent. I need a favor. One of my brothers was taken." 

The bird replies, "Don't tell me. Does he have black hair, green eyes, glasses and enjoys mumbling numbers under his breath?"

Owen nods, "That's him."

"I'll get him out. You can pay me back that favor tonight at your house." says the bird.

She just hangs up and Sean turns to his oldest friend to say, "Who is that?"

Here is the last idea (7):

Sang lives in a world where having magic either makes you join the government's special forces or you are killed.

Sadly, Sang has that magic most would kill for, dangerous and multiple. She doesn't know much about the outside world. Whenever she leaves the house for school her parents forces her to conceal her true self. At home, life isn't better. With her supposed mother abusing her for having powers and her father exploiting said powers, Sang really doesn't have much to live for.

After nearly having been discovered in Illinois, Sang is forced to move once again. This time to Charleston, South Carolina. What no one in her family knows is that city is one of the headquarters for the Academy, a rebel organization that saves people with powers from the government.

And for them, Sang might just be the right person to help them win this secret civil war.

But how will the Academy boys get her?

Or will the government get her first?
