Chapter 32 - Us

This will be my last idea for a GB fanfic. I will have a vote on the next update. Here is the description:

Sang lives in a world where having magic either makes you join the government's special forces or you are killed.

Sadly, Sang has that magic most would kill for, dangerous and multiple. She doesn't know much about the outside world. Whenever she leaves the house for school her parents forces her to conceal her true self. At home, life isn't better. With her supposed mother abusing her for having powers and her father exploiting said powers, Sang really doesn't have much to live for.

After nearly having been discovered in Illinois, Sang is forced to move once again. This time to Charleston, South Carolina. What no one in her family knows is that city is one of the headquarters for the Academy, a rebel organization that saves people with powers from the government.

And for them, Sang might just be the right person to help them win this secret civil war.

But how will the Academy boys get her?

Or will the government get her first?

What do you guys think of this idea? I have to admit, it isn't my favorite, but I want to let my readers decide.

I can't believe this is the last chapter! Geez, time has gone by quickly!

Kota

The night went well.

We all got to know our children better and the Toma Team was really nice to have there. With all the extra missions we have been taking on, we hadn't had the chance to really see them. I hadn't really realized how much I missed having everyone over. Sometimes, the house felt too big, but with Sang and the kids over, it was perfect.

The Toma Team had just left and were heading back home. We really needed to have a family meeting. I knew that my feelings for Sang had not changed over the past ten years. If anything, they have grown. At the beginning, I didn't think it would work out. But when we had to leave her, my heart broke every day we had to spend away from her.

I knew that she was ready to run again. Sang is always saying how much she has changed, but I still saw our Sang in her. Our Sang who was ready to run the moment anyone helped her, our Sang who refused to let Victor pay for anything. our Sang who ran to all of our defenses if anyone hurt us,

Our Sang.

Speaking of the devil, she spoke up, "Hey, I need to get the kids to bed. I'll be back down in a like half an hour to help clean up. I don't want the kids' sleeping pattern to et even more messed up. It is already one in the morning."

I look at my watch surprised, I can't believe time had gone by so quickly. I guess I didn't want the night to end. But it was nice that Sang left us some time alone for us to have a family meeting about the love of our life.

Owen replies, "Sounds fine, Sang. Do you need any help?"

She gives us a grateful smile, "No thanks, I'll be fine."

The moment we stopped hearing everyone, I turned to my family, "We need to talk."

Owen takes control of the conversation, "Since we don't have much time, I'll get straight to the point. What are your feelings regarding Sang?"

I start, "I still love her. She might be convinced that she has fundamentally changed, but I am willing to try again and date. I don't want to lose her another time."

Silas, the great romantic, went next, "Love like ours cannot be changed over time. I am with Kota. If what I feel for Sang isn't love still, then you Americans confuse me."

Gabriel stands up, "Fucking A! I won't let Sang go another time, damn everyone who tries! She's ours!"

Nathan adds, "Are we sure our relationship will work again? It was different than when we were kids. Now, we have kids. Is it going to work?"

Victor turns to his brother, "Tell me, Nathan! Can you let Sang go and never see her again? Could you actually imagine Sang in the arms of another without jealousy taking over? Could you agree to letting her go?"

Nathan looks pensive, but North goes after, "I will be going after Sang Baby even if I have to move to Russia to be with her."

Sean is smiling, "Of course, I want Pookie. She is the future Mrs. Green after all!"

Luke grins as well, "Cupcake won't leave us, we need her still!"

Owen nods in comprehension, "Are we all willing to do anything to get our girl back? Are we all willing to go after her?"

Everyone but Nathan answers the usual, "I am willing and I will obey," surprisingly without their creative additions.

We all turn to Nathan, "You guys are right. We cannot go on as we have without Sang. I am willing and I will obey."

At this point, the door creaks open and we all jump up. Our nerves are still a little frayed from the past days, but can you blame us?

Gabriel calls out, "Who is fucking there?"

Melody waltzes in, "Language, Mom would have your tongue for cursing around us kids."

We all relax and Owen asks, "What are you doing here?"

She stands in the middle of the room, "I was listening to your conversation."

North grunts, "What happened to privacy?"

Mel shrugs, "Whoever knows everything always has the upper hand."

I roll my eyes, "What do you want to say?"

She puts her hands on her hips, "I am speaking for all of my brothers and I as I saw this. We are willing to let you date our mom again only if you don't hurt. If you do, we know how to hide a body where the only things that will find it are wolves."

An involuntary shiver went down my spine. Usually such threats wouldn't scare me coming from a ten year old. But the look in her eye told us that she was dead serious and most likely had a plan to go through with it.

I nod, "We would never hurt Sang."

She harrumphs before continuing, "Anyway, I thought you would like to know that Mom is still very much in love with you all. She hasn't dated or looked at anyone since you nine. She might not show it, but she has not moved on. So, no matter what she says, remember that Sang loves you all even if she won't admit it to herself."

I find myself grinning at her words. If Melody is to be believed, we have a change to get our girl back. I can't wait.

Sang

Where is Melody?

I swear, I only turned around to deal with her brothers for a minute and she is gone. I sigh, she is probably with her fathers. I should get a DNA test to see which one I biologically hers, it could help if she needs a kidney or something.

What, you always should be prepared!

I walk downstairs calling out, "Melody!"

She rushes out of the room where the boys are in, "Yes, Mom?"

I raise one of my eyebrows, "What are you ding out of bed?"

She grins, "I needed to say good night to my fathers."

I sigh, "Whatever, just go!"

Mel salutes me and walks past. I didn't follow her up because I could trust her to go to bed. She is a good child like that, but rather too smart. It is scary sometimes, she has so many plots running at the same time, it's scary. That's one of the reasons everyone assumes she is already a mafia princess or the equivalent.

I scoff, next time I have kids, I am not raising them like I did them. Now, I get what mothers mean by you don't make the same mistakes with your second child as your first. Motherhood isn't easy.

I walk into the living room and start cleaning up. Everyone had left their plates, the pizza boxes. What a mess! I am surprised as I turn around to see everyone else cleaning. It's their house and I am the guest, I should help. We work side-by-side in silence.

Soon enough, we are done and I collapse on their couches. Everything that has happened in the past few days is catching up to me. My stitches are starting to itch too. I probably irritated them by doing the amount of work I have been doing. At least, no of my wounds have reopened. I would hate that. I am lying there stuck in my thoughts, it takes a while for me to notice everyone else staring at me.

I look at them, "What are you all staring at?"

Silas bluntly says, "You."

I actually fucking blush, "Sorry, what?"

North grunts, "We have wanted to see you in our house for the past ten years, baby."

I give him a look, "The nicknames."

Sean grins, "I think you like them, Pookie."

I roll my eyes, "They aren't me anymore, they are who I used to be."

He shrugs, "Fine, then let them be a reminder of who you used to be and who you still are."

I sigh, "I just told you, that's not me anymore."

Kota states, "You are still our perfect ten."

The blush that was leaving my cheeks returned in full force, "You don't know that anymore, Dakota."

He groans, "Call me Kota please!"

I smile softly, "Of course, Kota!"

Owen approaches me, "And we are still sure you are our ten."

I throw my hands up in frustration, "Have you been listening to me at all? I just told you that I have changed and you don't know me anymore."

Gabriel leans against the wall, "But we want to."

"Give us a chance," Nathan adds.

Luke being serious for once, "We can prove it to you."

My voice seems small to my own ears, "But I don't want to get hurt again."

Sean sits next to me and wraps me into a hug, "Oh, Pookie."

Tears gather in my eyes, but I refuse to let them fall, "You could all leave me again."

Owen is suddenly behind me, "Darling, we would never consider leaving you. When you were in the hospital, one of us checked on you every night and got reports directly from Dr. Roberts."

My voice crackes, "Whenever I saw on of you, you walked away."

Kota's voice becomes hard, "That was Dr. Roberts' advice to make us get over you."

Silas adds in his comforting accent, "It didn't work, we never could forget you, Aggele Mou."

I mutter, "I don't know."

Sean talks to me, his mouth close to my ear, "We can take things slow. Just stay in the US with us, or we can go to Russia with you. We will take everything at your pace. We promise you that we won't leave. Just give us a chance."

I give in, "One last time. You can try to prove to me why I should stay."

There is a chorus of, "I promise" and I let myself relax into my boys' arms.
