Stella and Caleb waited forthem—knowing that they could easily be eliminated at any moment.

"We're going to win," Caleb said,"I vow to you,-"

"You can't," Stella said, "Justbe happy I followed you over that waterfall."

Caleb smiled, "You and Astrid are myworld.."

"Caleb...I hear them coming.."

"I do, too.."

"We've got a lot of good people onour side, baby.." Caleb soothed, "I won't let them hurt you."

Suddenly, the screams and howls of theoutside allies and enemies came closer.

"Be ready to—wait, can you shift?"

"While pregnant? Darling, I can turnhybrid if you want!"

"That's my girl!"

They saw Lonnie and his men gallopingthrough the fields and straight into the forest—right into thebattle.

"Penelope and Katie are alright,"Stella breathed a sigh of relief, "Miriam still has them, though."

"I am glad they could link you. Wemust go—through this door here," Caleb said, "A sneak attack iswhat we need—I've been planning on it for a while. We've got theagility, smarts, and strength!"

Outside, they were met by Sven who toldthem to simply follow him and he'd point out the enemies and allies.

"They sent everyone exceptthemselves!" He told them as they fought friend and foe—exhaustedby the idea that their own people would be on the side of the witchesand their guardians, "Miriam and your parents are still back at theden."

"Of course they are!" Caleb said,shifting and making his way to the sides of many allies, "Let's dothis! Mate, stay close!"

Stella did just that—taking on herown enemies as her claws and teeth ripped them in half.

"We can ward off theenchantments!"Sarai said, "I've got this so stand back because Idon't want to get any innocent people mixed up in this!"

Witches, warlocks—a few gnomes andtrolls—appeared in the distance, coming closer and closer by thesecond.

"They wanted the Red Woods and theyonly wanted to use you as their meal ticket," Stella linked, "Thisends today. We're going to head back home to fight them."

"Do you think that's a good idea?"Caleb asked, surprised by her notion, "Stella.."

"What other choice do we have?"Stella said as the enemy numbers dwindled, "We go—we go in thedead of night."

"Then let's get this party started!"Caleb tossed two more trolls into trees as he shifted back into fleshform, "Are you alright, my beloved? And Astrid? Is she alright?"

Stella shifted back and looked at thecarnage, "I miss my parents..Astrid is sleeping through all of it!"

"I know you miss them..I wish.."Caleb saddened because he didn't remember his real parents.

"They loved you, I'm sure," Stellasaid, taking his hand, "Let's get ready to win this war."

Sven and Sarai appeared and blockedtheir way, "There's something you need to know about Astrid."

"What?" Stella asked, "Issomething wrong with our baby?"

Sarai smiled, "Not at all—but she'sthe future of the Red Woods, child. She's the greatest Luna warriorthat will ever roam these grounds—and that's also what they want.They will stop at nothing to take your pup."
