Rocky POV

The mission went pretty well. Afterwards, I sat on the grass with Ricky, Max, and Ryan. I was watching someone in particular. She laughed as she chased Izzy, barely touching her curled tail. "Aww c'mon! I'm coming for you Sunny!"

Sunny laughed and ran. The two eventually bumped into one another and fell over, laughing. Izzy tapped Sunny's nose, and they got up, laughing yet again. 

"If only I could tell her," I whispered.

Suddenly, I was pushed. I landed right on top of Sunny. Our noses touched. "Uh, sorry. Someone p-"

"It's ok," Sunny laughed. "I saw. You can beat up Ryan later."

I glared at Ryan, who smiled sheepishly and his behind Max. But because Max was a little under half Ryan's size, it wasn't a good cover for him. 

"Listen, Sunny, can I talk to you? Alone?"

"Sure. What's up?"

"I l-"

My pup tag glowed. "PAW Patrol, come sing happy birthday. It's bedtime after that."

Come ON, Ryder!

I went to bed that night thinking about Sunny.

My pup tag blinked.

"Truth or dare, Unca Rocky?"

"Dare."

"I dare you to confess by my half birthday. No telling that it was a dare, no taking it back."

I winced. "B-but your half birthday is in three days!"

"Well you better get started. You really should have picked truth; you know this trick."

Ricky hung up.
