~Rocky POV~

It was just another normal day when me and the pups came back from another mission. "Well done," said Ryder. It wasn't that big of a deal to be honest, we just saved a cat that was on a very high tree that was about to fall.

"Hey Wocky" said Zuma to me. "Hey, what's up?" I said back. "Wanna come to the beach with me?" he asked. "Erm..sure, but you know how I feel about the water" I said to him nervously. "Don't wowwy about it, I'll make suwe you don't get wet" he told me and chuckled.

~Zuma POV~

Omg I can't believe he agreed. Well of course we are best buddies and all, but I didn't know he would agree to come with me. "So when are we gonna go?" he asked me. "Ooh, so youw reawy to get wet? Just kidding" I saw teasing him.

We jumped on the hovercraft and soon came to the beach. "Well, we'we hewe" I tell him trying not to laugh while watching his scared look. "I like coming hewe when I'm sad ow happy." I tell him. "Are you okay?"he asked me concerned. "Yeah it's all good" I lie. I can't tell my best friend I have a crush on him, because it could ruin everything between us. "You don't look very okay to me" he says even more concerned. "Don't wowwy about it" I tell him. We sat on the sand and watched the waves splash on the shore.

~Rocky POV~

I enjoy spending time with him. "Hey Zuma" I say "It's beautiful here"

"I know, I'm glad youw hewe with me." It started to get dark and we laid on the sand and started watch the stars. "Hey Zoom Zoom, I need to tell you something"

~Zuma POV~

Did he call me Zoom Zoom? So cute. I blushed. OMG is he gonna tell me he loves me? "So" he started "after the mission, well I accidentally blew up my pup house and well, do you mind if I can sleep in your pup house tonight?" Seriously, well close enough. "Suwe, I don't mind." Maybe this is my chance. "Wocky?" "Yes Zoom?" he said. "Why did you call me Zoom?" "Sorry, I didn't want to make you feel.." "No, no. It's okay. It's cute." We both smile. I don't want this moment to end, but it was getting late. "I think we should go to the lookout now, it's getting late" "Okay, let's go" he said in a sad tune.

~Rocky POV~

Zuma was right, it was getting pretty late. So we hopped on his hovercraft and went to the lookout. I had a strange feeling, that I've never felt before. I looked at Zuma. It's cute how he calls me Wocky. He's pretty cute himself. Wait, what am I talking? Did I just say my bestie he's cute?
