The SOLACE-AURORA battle of the bands competition is back! Held every four years between the freshmen of A.W.A.K. (Aurora World Academy of Korea) & S.A.K. (Solace Academy of Korea), the competiton celebrates the blossoming youth, and the diverse student faculty, consisting of students from all over asia, as well as other nations. Additonally, it is also a celebration of the queer community within the faculty, encouraging musicians of all identities to sign up without hesiatation. Of course, the rivalry that has festered between the two colleges is just a little plus, allowing freshmen to join in on academy traditions. This year, after multiple nerve-racking rounds of selections and eliminations, the two universities have finally picked one band each to represent them in the finale rounds: UNTASTED KISS and HEAVY METAL HEART ! The competition, as every year will contain a $1000 cash prize for the winning band, as well as exposure towards talent scouts working for presigious record labels and entertainment companies across asia !

ᴗ͈ ㉨ ᴗ͈  ♡゙ Known as the beloved sweethearts of Aurora, UNTASTED KISS is a 5 member band, famous for their enigmatic, flirty and confident music style, comprising of genres reminescent of the retro era, combining disco's carefree groove and glam rock's disive and sharp-tounged songwriting, with inspirations from ABBA and MUNA. Despite being freshmen in their first year of college, they've already soloidified themselves as college royalty. Though they romanticize their pain, it's never sugarcoated, Their members include the gentle clutz silk chiffon on keyboard, the silent genius slow dance on guitar, body better's cutesy flair on bass, plastic hearts and their neverending innovative boldness on drums. At the centre of all of this is the closest thing to angels on earth (or so is claimed by the college faculty), the people's prince and untasted kiss' frontman and lead vocalist, take a bite.

⡞⠳⣄⣀     🍏᭄ᭂ Starting out as a pair of twins and one girl, recently tied together as step siblings in a marrige, trying to find something to over, HEAVY METAL HEART (also nicknamed (" Solace's vampire siblings ")may very well be the result of Hole and Bikini Kill's chaotic Riot grrrl manifesto, worshipping the "live through this" ablum like the bible. For h.m.h. , it always feels like they have something to prove, to prove that even with a male member they can send out their femenist message without sounding pretencious, to prove that their electric songwriting, fuled with gutsy, sinister and less than flowery imagery isnt just for shock factor, to get some boring principal to look at them for five minutes more. It's a prefront to an angtsy teenager's mind. With a musical flair that's studded with industrial influences from artists like 9-inch nails, david bowie, hole while their brutally honest, and matter of fact songwriting pokes fun at the misfortunes life throws at them, akin to Amy Winehouse, fiona apple and boygenius, specifically phoebe bridgers. The group's members consist of the the twin siblings, sweetly sentimental Wild flower (on drums) and darkly dashing bite me (on bass) and the fiery-headed doll parts as the frontwoman on vocals and guitar.

in which a battle of the bands competition between two rival high schools brings two bands together, who have secretly hated eachother since their highschool days, leading to a saga of lies, drama, banter, music, romance, and an embarrasing amount of attempted sabotage.
