Jenny's POV

I woke up and walked to the bathroom . I looked in the mirror , and woah my hair was a mess . I got my tooth brush and had a flash back from last night . I remember people screaming and crying . Not sure why... Must have been a bad dream I guess . I finished up in the bathroom and walked to the kitchen . There was a note left on the kitchen counter it read " be back by 5pm " with Riker's initials . I smiled and went into the fridge to make me a fruit salad with some Greek yogurt .

I heard my phone ring , it was selena.

J: hey what's up ?

S: what's up ?! You is what up !

J: me ?

S: yes ... Jen ... You okay ? You sound clue less .

J: ummm yeah I'm okay ...

S: JEN YOU'RE PREGNANT !

She basically yelled on the phone . Wait . What ?

S: Jen ?

J: um yeah ?

S: did you take any medicine .

J: nothing but my daily.

S: what do you mean by daily?

J: well the ones I'm suppose to take

S: so , what happened last night ?

J: last night ?

S: yeah , you told the others about baby Lynch

J: oh ... OH

S: YEAH OH

J: that's what that was ...

S: what was ?

J: all I remember was screaming and crying ...

S: JEN ! Okay ... I'll call Ross to see all this .

J : yeah ... You do that ...

S: I'll call you back after.

J: okay bye!

I hung up the phone and walked to my medicine cabinet . There was pain killers , stomach meds , and a bunch of other stuff for Riker's snoring and head aches . I looked at my pill bottle and grabbed it as I sat back down and read the effects " 24hours between pills" did I wait 24 hours or ... I took one in the before I went to bed the other , and yesterday morning . It was roughly 12 hours apart . I continued to read " this may cause confusion and short term memory loss" that was it . I don't remember anything . Nothing . Nada.

Selena POV

I tried calling Ross for the 6th time already and he doesn't pick up . I'm pretty worried . He always picks up , even on the first ring . And before I knew it he picked up and sounded annoyed

S: hey Ross , what's happening ?

R: well for one , riker got Jen pregnant and all hell broke out . And second , we are having a family meeting and dad is right in front of me .

S: bad timing ?

R: yep

S: I'll call back ... Love you

R: okay .

S: okay

I smiled before hanging up then flashed backed .

What does " all hell broke out " ?

Then Jen said all she remembered was Crying and screaming . I need to get down there . I went down stairs to talk to my mom .

" hey mom , I need to go to LA"

She laughed and replied with

" nice joke sel ."

" mom it's important ."

" I told you , no more traveling until grad night ."

" but-"

" no buts sorry sel "

Crap . I went back up stairs and thought , I mean it's not like I can sneak out .... Grad night is about 3 weeks away . That's too long . I need to find a way to speed up things .

Rydel POV

So we're all sitting here in our management office . Mom , dad , even ryland . I was pretty shocked last night , especially by the reactions .

" Riker I expected more from you "

Mom said . I mean , I think we all did , sure it was love but I mean really , how long have we known jen , I mean we don't even know her family and background at all . Then the record management guy came in with a folder .

" these are the signings you guys did when you signed to Hollywood records ." He said sitting down at the desk .

" how are we looking ?" Dad asked

" not so good ." He said looking at the file .

" it says here " as long as you're under contract , no marriage could take place- "

" we're not married " riker said sternly

" and no children's of sort could be involved " he continued

" THATS BULLSHIT" riker said basically yelling .

"Now Mr. Lynch , we read this out loud to you on the day of the singing."

" is there anyway we could do something ?" Dad asked

" there are some options ."

" what are they ?" Mom but in .

" first , not have the baby ,"

"Not doing that ." Riker said stubbornly .

" other options is , riker leaving the band "

" another no " dad said

" last option is , when the baby is born , Jen will not be able to be , see , or speak , or in any way be involved with riker until the contract is over . "

" I CANT DO THAT !" Oh no here we go

" ummm is that all , everything ?" I asked .

" that's it"

" riker , as much as it hurts me to say , That's your only option ." I said looking at riker , he had that red puffyness under his eyes that he got when he was about to cry.

" we will discuss this . " dad said getting up . Ross , as always was in his deep thought . We all left and the car ride back was a terrible silence .

Riker just kept looking out the window.

We got home and went to our rooms while mom and dad talked to riker .

Selena POV

My phone rang , it was Ross

S: hey !

R: hi

S: so ... How did everything go ?

Ross basically said everything . Riker's options and everything .

" wow" I said , I was speechless . I mean I was also thinking about my future .

" so , what's gunna happen ?" I asked . I knew the answer already .

"Well , only thing left is jen going away . Riker can't leave the band and won't lose the kid . The deal can't be changed until our deal is done " he said

" when is the deal done ?"

" in 3 years ."

I was blown . Riker not being able to see riker for 3 years or his own child. Wow . What if I ever wanted to have a kid ? I'll have to wait 3 years . Not that I wanted one at the moment but what about in 3 years ? Wow. I couldn't take it all in .

" so , no jen for 3 years ?"

" guess so ... I mean the only way is for you to talk to jen then give us the deets . We can't change anything. And if we fight it we'll get dropped."

" can't you find another record deal?"

" no , since A&A only allows me to be with H.R."

" this , this is just so Unreal."

" I know ."

" I can't even take it in ."

" hey , I have to go , dad's calling . I love you ."

I smiled and knew exactly what to say

" okay ."

"Okay."

Then I hung up and grabbed my notebook and headphones

I went downstairs and went to the backyard . I sat on the grass with my notebook on my lap and plugged my head phone into my phone and shuffled my playlist .

I began to draw random things and was worried . I mean . I couldn't even understand this whole thing . It seemed to unreal. But it was real. Seems like something that could happen in the movies.

Riker POV

We sat in the living room . All eyes on me . I couldn't escape from it , there's no where to run .

" we've made our decision" dad said crossing his hands .

You could see the tears in my mom's eyes .

" we are keeping the baby, and the band" he words burned into my head

"There will be no contact , with Jen , what so ever until 3 years time . For now , we can still talk to her , but once the baby born , we have 5 weeks till we can't contact her ." He said with a strict tone

I didn't know how to feel . Not seeing jen & my kid for 3 years . A lot can happen in 3 years . Jen can move on , find someone else , even marry someone else . It's ripping me.

" on the other hand . We will be going on a tour soon . " he said

" and this time , no girls allowed but rydel ." Mom spoke

" what?!" Ross said jumping up " that's not fair! It's not fair that I should get punished for Riker's mistake !"

My mistake . It was all my fault . No one to blame but me . Great riker , you fucked up things yet another time.

I stayed silent and just watched.

Rydel came up to me and sat next to me .

" you okay there buddy ?" She said putting some of my lose hairs into place .

"Not really" it was true I was falling to pieces

" don't worry 3 years will fly by . " she spoke softly .

" what time is it ?"

" 4:30, why?"

"I told Jen I'll be back by 5, I better go" I said getting up

" oh and riker , we are not to mention this to jen till the baby is born ." Mom said

" why?" I questioned I hated keeping things from Jen

" because it's bad for the baby ." That made me smile yet frown . It was nice that mom was looking out for Jen and this baby. But the secret...

" okay , I won't say ." I said as I left the house .

I got in the car and had to fix myself up like nothing happened . I'll just say it was a band rehearsal.

Jenny POV

I was watching tv in my unicorn onesie and drinking a chocolate and banana milkshake . The sun was starting to go down because it was summer .

I heard the door open and saw riker . I smiled as he walked over to me .

" hey" he said kissing my cheek

" hey " I said as he sat down on the couch.

" how was your day ?" He said putting an arm over me .

" pretty good , sel called me "

"What's up with her?" He asked taking a sip of my milkshake"

" oh um nothing , just about me "

"About you?" He questioned taking another sip

"Yeah about "baby lynch" " I quoted it with my fingers . Riker looked back at me .

" what about it?" He asked . It bugged me that he took it not so seriously

" oh , so it's true ?" I asked

" what do you mean ?"

" I thought it was a joke ... "

" what do you mean?" He repeated and then got up to the medicine cabinet and got my pills and started reading the back just as I did .

" Jen when was the last time you took this ?"

"Before I went to sleep 2 nights ago, then when I woke up yesterday"

" oh Jen, we gotta get you to the doctor ."

" why?"

" it says you're supposed to take each pill with a 24 hour difference or your side affect will be short term memory loss ."

" I know , and what is the doctor going to do ? Give me my memory back?" I said as I got up laughing

"Well.."

" I called them and they said I'll be great in 2 days time "

" oh okay . "

" but could you care to explain to me everything in the passed two days ?" I smiled

" okay " he smiled

We went to his room as we lay on his bed facing each other and riker explaining everything to me all over again . Surprisingly he was calm about everything . I was basically in a careless zone . Then everything hit me hard .

I was having a kid

Riker's parents didn't approve

I'm 19 almost 20

And I didn't have a stable job .
