Author's note: Hey Guys! It's Selena! I'm so happy for Jen that she is graduating middle school... Not only because she can work on the fanfic with me more, also because it's amazing for her! So yeah... Here's the chapter! Enjoy!

Selena's POV

We were on our way to the mall. It's about an hour from my small town, Franklin. Ross is driving of course, which scares me so I have earbuds in listening to music. Right now... "Nightingale" by Demi Lovato. That song has a special meaning to me that's indescribable.

We turn the corner to see a bunch of stores. Ross hasn't really been to the mall here so of course, he's gonna ask.

"Which one?" he starts slowing down the car.

"Um... Hilltop mall. It's around the corner at the next block," I point out.

He follows my directions and we get to the parking lot of the store. Right before we enter the store,

"Oh my gosh! Are you Ross Lynch?" a little girl asks us.

Ross laughs and so do I.

"Yes I am," he says smiling as the girl goes to her mom saying something to her. The mom comes around and asks if she could get a picture. Ross, being very considerate and sweet to his fans, agrees and picks up the little girl and the little girl puts her arms around him.

The picture is taken and the little girl leaves smiling.

I quickly whisper, "Don't get used to it. That was a lucky one."

"Why?" he asks. "Most people around here aren't going to know who you are. Maybe little kids who watch Disney. They are gonna call you by either 'Austin Moon' or your real name"

He laughs and said, "Hey! Maybe even 'Brady'!"

We go into the store and to my surprise, more kids recognized him and wanted pictures. It did eventually die down as time went by.

Jenny's POV

Finally, some partying. The janoskians were at the bar talking to a bar tender. I don't know why but they liked asking him over and over, "what are your drinks? The specials?"

It was funny.

I just sit at the table drinking. I didn't want to take any shots and get that drunk so I just took some Pepsi. Man, if Riker found me drunk, he would... Riker. Hmm.. Weird thinking about him when I'm with the Janoskians and partying. Like, why would I be thinking about him at this time?

"Hey Jen, wanna dance?" Luke asks me.

"Um.. Sure!" I say. He takes my hand and were on the dance floor.

We dance a bit to "Die Young" by Kesha. It's more of a party song which is perfect for the guys. Dancing with Luke is really fun. I had a crush on him as I may have said earlier.

Eventually, the song "Nightingale" by Demi Lovato starts playing.

Everyone was slow dancing. Luke smirks and asks me to slow dance.

"Sure," I say. I rest my head on his shoulder and we move back and forth.

The other boys were with some other girls. I like Luke. This feel great seeing him again and being with him again. I always liked him. The song keeps going on and sing it through my head.

"Can you be my nightingale? Sing to me. I know your there. You could be my sanity. My peace for me to sleep."

The next lyrics, one of my favorites,

"I don't know what I'd do without you. Your words are like a whisper cutting through. As long as your with me here tonight, I'm good."

I can't explain the reason. But, as the song keeps going, I have tears forming in my eyes. Why? Why the hell am I crying? Maybe there's a reason...

*flashback to a months ago when Selena and Jenny have not met R5 yet at the concert*

"The concert is going to be amazing. I have a really good feeling," Selena says as she goes through her clothes.

"Yeah," I say agreeing.

"Hey, is there any song you like that reminds you of R5?" She asks me.

"Um.. Well, they are like my Superheros in a way. They are like Katy Perry and Demi. They inspire me," I say as I think about the songs I know.

She stops and thinks as well, "There are so many songs..."

We laugh. "What about a song that reminds you of Riker?" she asks.

I smirk and yell out, "THAT'S SO EASY!... What about you for Ross?"

"That's easy too," she smiles.

"1,2,3" I count off.

"Nightingale" we both say at the same time.

We both said nightingale by Demi Lovato. It's a song about someone who has made a difference in your life. No wonder I kept thinking it. Riker is like the best guy I know.

When I go to sleep, I put on "Always" by R5 just so I can listen to him.

"It reminds me of Ross so much. I like .. CAN'T EVEN!" Selena says laughing.

"Same here" I say laughing along with her.

*end of flashback*

The song is over. Thank god. Luke stops me, "are you crying?" he asks me. I nod a little. "Why Jen? Are you okay?" Jai says. Eventually all of them are around me asking me.

"It's something.. personal," I say.

They all hug me. It feels good. I laugh to myself. But it's a group hug... Oh god.

*flashback to the concert*

"OMG I LOVE YOU" I burst out. I couldn't help myself.

They laugh, "we love you too," Riker says.

"Can we have a group hug?" Selena asks them.

"Of course! Guys! Bring it in!" Ross yells.

Selena holds onto Ross's waist and mine and I am around Riker's waist. They are all so tall. I swear to god. We have Rocky and Rydel and Ellington of course and they are also hugging.

"See you later, girls!" Rydel lets out.

We smile and agree. We leave saying that is the best experience ever.

*end of flaskback*

"Jen, do you need to talk about it?" Luke asks me.

"Yeah. We're always here," Skip assures me.

I sigh and say, "it's too much guys. I um..."

Luke sighs, "do you need a ride home?"

I sigh once more, "Home.." in which "home" is where Riker is. It's the only one I have. Ever since my mom sorta "kicked me out" or some shit like that. My family isn't really talking to me. The Lynches and Ratliff and heck! even Selena! are sorta the only family I have right now.

"Can you guys drive me somewhere?" I ask.

"Of course," Jai says.

We quickly leave the club.

Selena's POV

"Ross! C'mon!" I yell.

"Wait a minute.." he says. He's inside the dressing room trying on probably the fifteenth pair of sweats. How long does it take to put on a pair of sweats? Right when I put the eleventh pair of sweats away for him, I get a phone call.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Hey girl.." she says. It's Jenny.

"Hey, how's it going?" I say.

"Not good, I'm with the Janoskains and I am not in good condition so I said to take me somewhere but I don't know where to go.." She says. I sigh.

"What do you mean? Do you miss Riker or something?" I ask.

"No.. Maybe.. Yes! I don't know!" she says.

"Jenny, I think you need to go to Riker," I say.

"I don't know Selena...I just.. It's too much.. I.." she says without finishing her sentence.

"Jen? Jenny? Jennifer?" I ask.

The call goes out. What.. Eventually, Ross comes out in sweats. "These ones I like.." he smiles.

"Ross! I think something's wrong with Jenny!" I say.

"What?" he asks concerned. "We have to go," I say. He quickly pays for the sweats and we head out the door.

Riker's POV

I can't believe Jen hasn't come back yet. Who I kidding? I was a jerk. She wouldn't come back to me. Never. She deserves better than me. I head to my room until I hear a knock on the door. More like fifty knocks. I answer.

"Hello?" I say. I see Luke, Jai, Beau, James and Daniel.. The Janoskians? Holding Jenny?

"Hi! Riker, right?" Luke says.

"Yes. Oh my god! What happened?" I ask worried and confused.

"Jenny fainted," Jai says.

"Bring her here," I say and lead them to the couch. They set her down gently. I put a blanket over here and check her head. She's a bit warm. I think she has a flu or something also.

"Guys, thank you for bringing her," I say.

"We didn't know what else. We checked her phone for emergency contacts as in family or something but all she had was you. So, we looked for an address and yeah," Daniel says.

I smile down at Jenny, "I'm her emergency contact," I chuckle. "Thank you again," I say.

"Call us when she comes back," Beau says.

I nod and they leave. I sit down on the arm of the chair and fix her hair. "It's okay. I'm here," I say and kiss her head.
