Chapter Thirty-Nine : 5 years later

Rey brushed her daughter's hair as Ben tied her pink converse .

After a simple bun in half of her hair and the other half down in the long black curls she had Rey placed a small bow at the back.

"Okay, you ready Obie ?" Ben asked , he was dressed in a suit with his normal brief case in hand .

"Yup!" She smiled and reached for his hand . Rey grabbed her backpack and handed it to her daughter .

Soon Olivia was in her car seat and the two were in the front "so Mama will be at the gate to get you and take you home okay?" Rey said looking at her daughter.

"And as soon as daddy gets home we'll get go to uncle Poe's for dinner" Ben said as he turned into the elementary school.

They helped her out and held her hands as they walked into the school.

"Hi... I'm Rey Kenobi , this is my husband Ben and our daughter Olivia ... it's her first day" Rey said as her daughter looked up with a smile .

"Hi there sweetie" the teacher said, she was wearing a long yellow dress and had flowing red hair . "I'm Miss Carson, I'm gonna be your teacher, why don't you say bye to your mommy and daddy and we can start learning"

Olivia smiled and walked to Ben and hugged him then went to Rey and hugged her tightly "mama I changed my mind I wanna stay with you" she said .

Rey's heart broke and she looked up at Ben who was shaking his head no , she needed to go to school.

"Mama will be pick you up right when schools out" she said tucking back a piece of her daughter's inky locks .

"Mama !" She cried .

"Sweetie, I think you'll really like it and you'll make friends ... plus mama will be cleaning all day you don't wanna do that" she said .

"Mama!" She said crying into her shoulder .

"Sweetheart , Mama and Daddy have to go buy well be back" she kissed her "and if your teacher says your a good girl we go out and get something special okay? Your teacher won't let anything happen to you... I love you"

"I love you too mama..." she sniffled.

"Go have fun " she said and kissed her cheek. Olivia waved goodbye as her teacher held her hand .

Rey sold up and Ben wrapped his arm around her shoulder "I know" he said as they walked to the car.

"She's in kindergarten! And soon she'll be in high school and college and getting married and having babies of her own-"

"She's five " Ben said as he opened the door for Rey.

"I don't wanna leave her-"

"Babe" he said stopping her to look her in the eyes "you're not leaving her, you're dropping her off ... you're gonna pick her up at 12:30... she'll be fine" he kissed her .
