Tomorrow is a very big day. To me at least. I know the other Ninja may not believe it to be as big if a day as I do but it has to do with my boyfriend. Tomorrow is Cole's twentieth birthday. It's crazy and I think I'm officially freaking out. I'm not sure if the freaking out is because in fangirling that Cole turning twenty almost makes him...more attractive, or if its because we'll seem like we're three years apart. I think it's a bit of both.
We've been preparing for his surprise birthday party all week long. It's been slightly stressful for me since I want it to be perfect. The others now, are pretty much freaking out. They don't know what they're doing. Well, Zane and Nya do but Lloyd, Kai and Jay are....different. Nya's good with decorations, Zane is an amazing cook and....Lloyd's good at pranks, Kai's good at...bonfires? I suppose that could be useful. And Jay is only good if we need a radio broadcaster. No offense to him of course.
I'm supposed to take Cole on a date, while everyone else sets the Bounty up for a party. All the decorations are going to be purple and black, since those are Cole's favorite colors. I do love my boyfriend, but he is slightly goth. But then again, being goth makes him hotter. So it's all cool. Besides, he may be slightly goth but he isn't all angsty. He's really sweet even if he does like dark colors too much.

"Okay guys, tomorrow is Cole's birthday. I want to surprise big time. Do you all have the supplies?" I ask as our 'BDT' joins together in the living room. BDT is short for 'Birthday Team.' Cole's taking a shower at the moment and he takes really long showers so we have plenty of time to talk about party stuff.
"I have the food supplies," Zane answers.
"I got the balloons and streamers," Nya says.
"I got the lights," Jay says.
"I the surprise silly string," Lloyd adds. Yes, when we yell surprise, we are gonna prank him with silly string. I think it's funny, and it's a good natured prank, not too dangerous or hurtful. Not dangerous or hurtful at all actually.
I look over at Kai who hadn't said anything yet. He was supposed to have gotten wrapping paper so I could wrap Cole's presents. It would appear that he didn't.
"Kai did you get the wrapping paper I asked for?" I ask with an eyebrow raised in his direction. He sighs and crosses his arms.
"Of course I did!" he exclaims. There's a look on his face though that shows he's not really wing truthful and I sigh. "Alright....yes I got it! But I may have....accidentally burnt it..." My eyes go wide.
"You....what?!" I practically yell. I take a deep breath and sigh. "Kai... Can you please get more paper? It's for Cole, after all." Kai nods slightly. "Alright. I will. I smile and thank him and he runs out to the store to get the wrapping paper. I just hope he doesn't burn it again.... At that thought I sigh heavily.

When Cole gets out of the shower Kai is on his way back to the Bounty. Since I don't live with the Ninja, Cole was a little surprised to see me here in the middle of the week since I usually just came over on weekends. Today is Tuesday. Cole's birthday is Wednesday.
"(Y/n)! When did you get here?" he asks me when he comes out. His hair is all messy, messier than usual, and it's slightly damp. He's not wearing a shirt and I can't help but stare at his muscled chest. He looks at me with a questioning look and then looks down at his shirtless self. He smirks. "Like the view?" I blush darkly.
"Um...well...yes...." I stutter. He laughs slightly and I clear my throat. "I got here while you were still in the shower. You take really long showers, by the way," I say giggling slightly. He blushes slightly and walks over to me.
"Everyone's lucky I do," he replies and I smile. He places and kiss on my lips and it's my turn to blush.
"Good to know," I say afterwards. He chuckles slightly. Suddenly, I hear the door opening and my eyes widen. Kai's back. I look up at Cole. "Be right back!" I say quickly and run to the door, leaving a confused looking Cole behind. I get to the door and tell Kai to go hide the stuff. He quickly does and Cole doesn't see him. I brush my hand across my forehead and sigh in relief. That was close.

"What was that?" Cole asks as I return. I shrug my shoulders.
"It was uh..." I hesitate. "Jay spilt something on something," I say. Cole nods slightly. Jay always does weird things so he could easily buy it.
"Okay then," he says with a slight smile. I sigh slightly and sit on the couch next to him. I look over at him. I want this to be perfect for him on his twentieth birthday. He does so much for me all of the time I can't even express how much I love him. Even the words 'I love you,' don't seem to do a justice. And even though they don't do a justice, I still say them.
"You know I love you, Cole?" I ask looking up at him. He turns his face to look at me and nods, kissing my forehead.
"Of course, (Y/n). I love you too," he says. Hearing those words come from my mouth sound strange, since they don't do a justice to what I feel for him, but hearing them from him is like falling in love all over again.
"I know," is all I whisper. I bend my head back just enough to be able to give him a light kiss on the lips. He smiles gently and a slight blush forms on his face, making me blush as well. When he blushes he looks so...cute. Gosh, I love him.

I stay at the Ninja's for the rest of the day and return home after dinner. I feel all anxious and nervous about the surprise party tomorrow and I don't know why. It keeps me from sleeping through the night and I only fall asleep around 3:00am.
