It has been a few days since I left home and now I am currently living in a hotel until I get my acceptance letter which has taken a bit longer than normal.

I couldn't help but remember her. Being a Muslim made me understand how patience is very important when it comes to love and life.

Thanks to my great teacher, Liam, and Jason who are both Maya's grandfather and her father.

Dear Diary,

Sometimes I feel like going back to her home, but I knew that I couldn't do that, especially after what I told her family.

I love her yet I want to be better for her and myself. She is what keeps me going. I just hope when all of this is over, we will be together and she will accept me back in her life and her arms.

Allah knows best.

He knows what we need and what we deserve in our lives. I pray and I hope that in the future, Maya will be happy in her life even if she will not accept me back. I have already asked Jayden to take care of the restaurant as soon as he graduates.

He is my brother no matter what. I know that he will never betray me. I trust him with everything in my life. That includes my life.

Maya, the love of my life. All I have is your picture, nothing else.

A picture that I will cherish for the time being until Allah reunites us.

The love I have for her will always be there in my heart. I love her with all my heart and soul.
