What He Did

Not a couple
Raven was pissed at him. Sure, he had saved her, but had risked his life in the process. She knew he was hoping she didn't remember, but her memory had returned. He had saved her from Trigon, but now she realized just how dangerous his journey was. Raven stalked up to her room, only to find him in there. He was sitting on her bed, his legs dangling over the side. She rolled her eyes, her glare directed towards him. Robin smiled sheepishly. "You're still mad?" He asked, eyes on her under the mask. In response, a book blew up. His gaze turned serious as he stepped off her bed, moving towards her in the doorway. "How else was I supposed to save you?" He watched as she made her way to her dresser, pulling out her scissors. Her hair needed cutting since the whole Trigon thing. She responded while she cut. "You didn't have to save me at all." She glanced at him, anger present in her voice. Robin walked over to her, a hand on her shoulder. He spoke calmly. "Raven, I think we both know that wasn't an option." She slammed the scissors on her dresser. "Why not?! I told you to save yourself, not me!" She closed her eyes, calming herself. Her shoulders heaved up and down as she chanted her mantra in her head. Robin felt the anger come off her in waves as he tightened his grip on her shoulders. He spoke when he felt she was calm. "I saved you because you're my friend. I didn't care what I would endure, I only cared that you were safe." He rubbed her shoulder, trying to help. Raven finally opened her eyes, and stared right at him. "You had to work with the enemy." He found it weird that she didn't shake off his hand. Robin took her other hand in his. "Yeah, and I'd do it a thousand times over if it meant saving you, Rae." Raven winced. She knew he was serious when he used her nickname. "I wouldn't want you too."
"Why?"
"Because I'm not that important."
Robin was shocked. "What?" Raven looked away from him. "I'm not important." She sighed. He looked down at her hands. "Why would you say that?" Raven pulled out of his grasp, walking towards her window. "Say what? The truth?" He followed her, but stayed behind the girl. "You and I both know that's not the truth. That's a straight up lie." She didn't face him. "Is it? If I was important, my father would've kept me at his side. If I was important, people would have thanked me. If I was important, my mother would have helped me." Robin sighed, placed his hands on her shoulders, and turned her to face him. "If you weren't important, we wouldn't care, if you weren't important, we would send you away, if you weren't important, we wouldn't try so hard to save you, if you weren't important, I wouldn't do this." He leaned down, and kissed her. He kissed her as if it was her last day on Earth. Raven's eyes popped open, and she nearly fell. He balanced her by her shoulders, continuing the kiss until he lost his breath. He pulled away, breathing hard. He didn't wait for her to say anything. "You are important, Rae." Raven pulled herself from her daze, and crossed her arms over her chest. "I'm still mad at you." He chuckled, and kissed her again. "Yeah, and I still think you're important."
