He placed a hand on her exposed stomach, feeling the raised flesh. He heard her sharp intake of breath.

"This was from Slade." He whispered, his hand slowly moving up. She nodded, her eyes closed.

"How observant of you." She said, her voice emotion free.

Robin let his hand linger right below her bra clad breasts. He kissed her shoulder, his hand touching the scar."This was from Madame Rouge."

"This one was from Jinx." He removed his hand from her shirt, touching the scar above her eyebrow.

Raven smiled slightly, looking into his eyes. "You seemed to have memorized all of them."

Robin nodded, but raised a brow at the one just below her left ear. "This is new."

Raven nodded, her eyes closing. Robin touched it, noticing it was slightly red.

"Where did it come from?"

She spoke quietly, a hint of anger in her voice. "Dr. Light attacked me a few weeks ago. It was no big deal."

Robin nodded, his lips on her weak spot. She held her breath, gripping his bed sheet.

He continued his searching, and found the one on her right elbow. "Control Freak."

Raven didn't say anything, waiting for him to find the newest one. She knew he would.

Robin let his hand travel down her arm, but he stopped at her wrist.

He felt her flinch under his touch, and Robin found the fresh wound. It wasn't even scarred over yet.

He looked into her closed eyes, hid thumb absently rubbing the cut.

"Where did this come from?"

When she didn't answer, he spoke in a more commanding tone.

"Raven, where did this come from?"

She sighed, opening her eyes. When she looked into his blue eyes, Robin saw his answer.

"Raven...you didn't...."

She nodded, looking away towards his window. Robin picked up her wrist, examining it.

"Why?"

Raven flinched at his voice. She answered, voice shaky. "Remember this morning when Starfire wanted us to go to the mall?"

Robin nodded.

Raven continued, still looking away. "Well I noticed all the girls there were wearing things like Starfire."

Robin looked towards her, giving her a confused state. She sensed his confusion a and continued.

"They were all wearing skirts and sparkly tops. Then there was me, in my sweatshirt and jeans."

Robin saw what she was getting at, but let her talk.

"I looked at myself compared to those girls, and realized they were very different. Pretty, girly, much more caring and emotional."

She stopped, gathering her thoughts, then continued.

"I knew any boy would go after them instead of me. I thought you would too."

Robin's eyes widened, and he sat up, looking into her now closed eyes. He kissed her cheek, and she opened them, looking straight at him.

Robin gave her a sad smile. "Raven, I don't care about those other girls. I care about you. I didn't choose them, I chose you, because I love you."

Raven smiled, leaning into him. "Really? Even though I'm so different than most girls?"

Robin nodded, putting a Han. On her head. "That's why I love you. Because you're so different."

Raven nodded, closing her eyes. "I love you, too."

She felt his hand hold her back, and she knew he was telling the truth.
