Promise II
Couple
This one goes with the last one shot. Also, it's a bit mature. No lemon, but much talk of one. >:)
Raven finished zipping up her leotard, dragging her fingers through her hair and catching her breath.
She stood up off the floor, raising her brows at Robin, who was still lying on the floor, fully clothed and nearly panting.
She stood above him, her lips raising ever so slightly.
"Was I too much for you, Boy Wonder?"
He smirked up at her, licking his lips and replying with a gruff voice.
"Not too much, maybe a bit rough, though. You've never gone that hard before, Rae."
She looked away for a moment, placing her hands on her hips and looking out of the storage room door.
They had finished things in there, afraid the others might be in the hall.
"Maybe you've just never been good enough until now."
He sat up, leaning against the wall and placing his hand over his heart.
"Low blow, Rae."
Robin stretched a bit, lifting himself up and staring into her eyes.
"Besides, we know that's not true. The broken lightbulbs and picture frames in my room are proof of that."
She huffed, letting him place his hands on her hips and kiss her softly.
She pulled away, her own hands around his neck.
"I'm not afraid to admit I enjoyed every minute of it, more than I usually do."
He raised his brows at this, clearing his throat and looking into her eyes with his own unmasked blue ones.
"Maybe it was the anger?"
"Pent up sexual frustration?"
He leaned down, sucking gently on her weak spot, the part where her neck met her shoulder. She gasped lightly, practically purring as he continued.
He lifted his head up to answer her.
"Let's just blame it on that."
She pulled out of his grasp, flicking on the lights, her eyes adjusting to the lit up room.
He sighed, slapping his mask on his face and following her as she opened the door.
He ran his own hand through his hair, making sure it was sufficiently spiky. He noticed her staring at him, and he stopped, raising his brows beneath the mask.
"What, Raven?"
She shrugged, bringing her hand up to smooth back a piece of stray hair.
"I like your hair down better, that's all."
She felt the subtle jab of mischief poke at her as he smiled.
"And I like you without clothes on, but we can't all get what we want."
She narrowed her eyes at him, ignoring his comment and continuing to walk down the hall.
They had been at it all night, and it was now noon. She was just hoping none of them-mainly Cyborg and Beast Boy- would be suspicious.
"We need to go, Robin. Before the others find out."
"As you wish."
He bowed dramatically, walking beside her as they made their way towards the common room.
She inhaled sharply when he wrapped his arm around her waist, his fingers tapping against her side gently.
Raven wasn't one for PDA, even in the confines of the tower. She liked to keep things secret, especially when it came to her love life.
But, she supposed she couldn't really deny him, not after his confession the night before.
"I can't lose you Rae. Not to him."
She sighed, remembering the pure desperation in his voice. The way he held her against him like she would disappear.
He stared down at her, smiling that charming smile of his. She felt his stare, and found herself looking up at him, her eyes sparkling a bit.
He spoke, his hand traveling up and down her side.
"You seem distracted."
"Just thinking."
"A penny for your thoughts?"
She smiled at this, watching the common room doors slide open as she responded.
"Maybe when we're in private."
He chuckled at this, looking around the room, seeing the other two male Titans.
Cyborg and Beast Boy were staring at them, eyes shining and smiles plastered onto their faces.
Raven raised her brow, scowling at them as they locked their eyes on her and Robin.
"What are you two idiots smiling about?" She snapped, crossing her arms over her chest.
Beast Boy giggled-giggled-and nudged Cyborg, who was laughing at the two.
Raven lifted one hand up, ready to throw them out of the Tower's window, but she found her hand interlocked with someone else's.
She turned to look at Robin, who was smiling that stupid smile of his.
"Now Raven, why don't we let them explain before we do anything rash."
She tore her hand away from his, placing both on her hips and leaning on her left leg.
"Explain why you're laughing. Now."
Beast Boy was the one to speak, standing from the couch and jumping over it, leaning on it.
"So, what did you two do last night after you got into that fight?"
He looked at Robin, who had a confused look on his face. Raven, however, had her eyes narrowed as the changeling continued to speak.
"Did you guys just ignore each other the whole night, or...."
Cyborg looked over the couch, barely able to contain his laugh as he spoke.
"Or did you kiss and make up?"
Robin chuckled a bit, earning him a glare. She knew something was up with those two, and she had an inkling of an idea what.
"We made up, Cyborg." Robin interrupted her thoughts with his answer, probably purposely ignoring the "kiss" part.
Beast Boy nodded, still not satisfied with the answer the two had received. He raised his own brow, continuing to prod.
"Nothing more?"
Robin shook his head, staring out the window for a minute, finally catching on. He could practically hear Raven's jab in his head.
For a high class detective, you're pretty slow.
Raven, for her part, was doing her best not to lash out at the two Titans before her.
Cyborg removed himself from the couch, standing next to Beast Boy. The two faced each other, and Beast Boy cleared his throat.
Raven turned to Robin, gripping his arm tightly, pulling him down a bit to reach his ear.
"What are they doing, Robin?"
He sighed against her ear, his breath tickling her lobe.
"I don't know, Raven. Looks like we'll have to find out."
She exhaled sharply, watching the two with suspicion. Not until Beast Boy opened his mouth did her eyes widen in shock.
"Yes, Robin! Don't stop, please don't stop!"
He slapped the bionic man's shoulders while he kept in his laughter.
Beast Boy motioned to Cyborg, who took his cue and continued the embarrassing acting.
"Oh God, Raven!"
The metal man pretended to spike imaginary hair on his head, staring at Beast Boy with laughter in his eyes.
They continued mocking the two birds by moaning, panting, and yelling their names. All while the two stood there, mortified.
Raven stood frozen, her eyes completely wide, her hand gripping Robin's bicep, hard enough to leave a bruise.
Robin felt the blush crawl up his face, spreading over his cheeks. He inhaled quickly at the force of her fingers, as still as her.
"Harder!"
"Faster!"
"Yes!"
"More!"
Cyborg and Beast Boy fell onto the floor, laughing and grabbing their stomachs.
Robin was the first to speak after they had quit their fit of giggles. He stared down at the two, his arms across his chest.
"Are you two amused?"
Cyborg nodded, wiping a tear from his eye and coughing from the laughing.
"Way too funny, Rob."
The Boy Wonder rolled his eyes beneath the mask, looking over at Raven, who's eyes were closed. It was obvious she was meditating, no doubt to keep from bursting.
"How did you two even know what we were doing?"
Beast Boy leaned on his knees, his hands on the floor as he caught his breath. He looked up at his leader, grinning.
"Me and Cy went to look for you two, and we heard you guys in the bedroom corridor storage closet."
He paused while he stood up and wiped off his knees.
"It must've been pretty good to cause three lightbulbs, the microwave, and all the ceramic plates to break, dude."
Robin took Raven's hand off of his arm, placing it by her side as he continued speaking, his voice slightly annoyed.
"It was pretty damn good Beast Boy. Better than anything you'd ever get."
Cyborg erupted into laughter again, pointing at Beast Boy as he began to stand.
"You just got burned, BB!"
Beast Boy only shrugged, turning his attention back to Robin. He rubbed his hands together and grinned stupidly.
"So, Robin, what did you do to make the emotionless Raven scream so loudly?"
The dark girl's eyes popped open, and she sent her magic towards him, effectively tripping him. She looked down at him, her eyes holding her annoyance.
"What happens with our sex life stays between him and I, do you understand?"
He held in his laughter, looking up at her and waggling his brows.
"I was just wondering, Raven. It could come in handy the next time I have a girl over."
Raven backed away from him, eying him with pure hate. Robin came to wrap his arms around her, effectively trapping her in a bear hug.
She kept her eyes on the green teenager in front of her as she spoke.
"You're disgusting, Beast Boy."
She pointed to Cyborg, making sure to include him.
"And you, you're just as gross as him."
Beast Boy interrupted her, motioning towards her and her boyfriend, still smiling.
"We're not the ones who did it in a storage room."
Raven hissed at him, ready to slam him into the tv at this point, but Robin's voice in her ear stopped her and sent shivers down her spine.
"Rae, leave him, he's just trying to be funny."
"Well, he's failing."
He spun her around to face him, his hands on her shoulders, that charming smile drawing her in.
"I know, Rae, I know."
She was about to say something, but was cut off by Beast Boy's annoying voice.
"Oh yeah, if you guys are gonna make this a regular thing, you should probably tint the storage room windows."
And with that, he was thrown out the window of the Tower.
