Couple

Raven paced the room, her eyes narrowed, her brow twitching. She exhaled sharply, chewing on her lip and shaking her head.

He had yelled at her for going out alone while Slade was still loose, and the two birds had gotten into a verbal fight.

She ended up finding him and fighting him, earning herself a few cuts and bruises.

He freaked out on her, and she let her emotions loose, the yelling between the two causing everyone to flee the common room.

Finally, she had just walked out of the room while he continued yelling at her.

She was trying to blow off steam by moving around, but right now, all she was doing was making herself even angrier.

She walked over towards her bookshelf, her hands clenched, shaking slightly.

She rarely got this upset, but he had really pushed her.

"I hate him."

She reached for a book, but found her eyes flashing red and her hand smashing into the wall, her anger reaching the peak.

She pulled her hand back quickly, staring now at the hole she had just put in her wall.

She sighed, cradling her now bruised and bleeding hand, the pain not helping her attitude one bit.

She plopped herself onto the bed, her good hand pinching the bridge of her nose.

Raven sat there for a few moments, realizing she needed some ice, but not wanting to run into him.

She finally decided to ease the pain, slipping out of her room and walking down the hall.

Raven sighed heavily, making her way towards the elevator. If he hadn't been such a prick, she wouldn't have hurt herself.

She was looking down at her hand when she ran into someone. The same someone who she didn't want to see.

She lost her balance, but didn't fall. She landed against a storage room door, inhaling sharply as she placed her throbbing hand against the door.

Raven looked up, staring into his masked eyes, her own angry and annoyed.

Robin looked down at her, his voice just giving her even more anger.

"Rav-"

"No. Don't talk to me."

He sighed loudly, his hand on his chin for a second.

"Seriously?"

Raven clenched her fist, closing her eyes for a moment and swallowing.

"I don't want to talk to you."

"I want to tal-"

"No, Robin!"

She rubbed her temples with her good hand, her anger lashing out at him.

A light bulb shattered in the background, but Raven didn't even flinch at it.

"You're overreacting, Raven."

He crossed his arms over his chest, looking down at her hand with a raised brow.

She followed his gaze, crossing her own arms over her chest, clenching her teeth at the pain in her probably-broken knuckles.

"Is that from Slade, too?"

She straightened herself up, removing her back from the door and squaring up to him.

"No, it isn't." She quipped, running a hand through her hair to get it out of her face.

He could feel her anger through the bond, and had a good guess of what happened to her knuckles.

"I don't know what you want me to say, Raven. You went out there against my orders."

She huffed, turning away from him and rolling her eyes.

"You yelled at me for being a hero! You'd do the same thing!"

"Raven, you got hurt!"

"I just had a couple scrapes!"

He moved forward, a few inches away from her.

"You were being stupid. Did listening to me ever occur to you?!"

"Oh, please!" She scoffed, "You never listen to a damn thing I say when it comes to criminals!"

"Do you not understand what the hell I'm saying, Raven?!"

He placed his hands on her shoulders, shaking her lightly as he spoke.

She pushed against him with her hands, ignoring the pain and carving some distance between them.

"I understand that you're being an asshole about something so small!"

She completely pushed him, trying to walk away from the situation, but didn't get very far.

He grabbed her arm and brought her body close, backing her up into the wall.

Raven felt his hand on the back of her head, keeping her from hurting herself.

He had one of his knees between her legs to keep her from falling, and his free hand was on her waist, gripping her protectively.

Her anger faded away as his lips connected with her own, her eyes and body relaxing against him.

His lips searched her's, his one hand digging into her hair, the other running up and down her sides, eliciting a small shiver from her body.

Her hands gripped the back of his cape as he kept his lips on her's, as if afraid she would disappear and never return.

She pulled away for air, placing her head back on the wall and exhaling heavily as his lips left hot kisses down her neck, stopping halfway down.

He sucked gently, feeling Raven's hands tighten on his back and hearing a small noise come from deep in her throat.

He pulled away from her, placing his head in the crook of her neck, his chest rising and falling in time with her own.

"I can't lose you, Rae. Not to him."

Her breathing hitched at his voice. It was raw and full of emotion. She brought her hand up to run through his hair, feeling his muscles relax at her touch.

He didn't want her hurt, and she could tell now. His aura was pulsing with concern for her, about her wounds, about her safety.

She brought his chin up with her free hand, looking at him through half lidded eyes, seemingly staring into his own masked ones.

She leaned forward, pressing her lips to his Adam's Apple gently, pulling back when he tightened his grip on her.

Raven listened to his voice in her ear, his breath tickling the cartilage.

"Promise me you won't go out there without me. Please, Rae."

She felt her heart soften at his plea, her head nodding against him, her own voice slightly hoarse from his kisses.

"I promise, Robin."

He exhaled, relieved at her response. She placed her hands on either side of his face, bringing his lips in for a soft kiss.

Raven started to slide down the wall, bringing him with her until they were both on the floor, finishing what they had started.

Okay, I know I haven't posted anything in a while, so I hope this makes up for my laziness:/ I've been babysitting and my phone broke so I had to hook up my older one, so here I am! I know Two Becomes Three is taking forever to update, but we're trying, okay? Please forgive my late updates, guys<3
