"You know I can't, Robin." She hugged herself, a sad look on her face.

"Why not?" He asked, his lips devouring her skin.

His hands ran up and down her curves, making Raven shudder.

"I can't take this risk." She said, her lamp exploding.

"There's too much emotion in this."

"I can't stop loving you."

"Please, don't." She begged, not wanting to hear the words.

"It's true, Rae."

"Yes, but it is also true that I cannot show emotion. You'll make me vulnerable."

"Raven.." He whispered, his hand touching her exposed stomach.

Raven looked away. "Robin.." She said quietly, feeling his lips in her collarbone.

Robin continued, kissing her jaw.
