Raven was hooked up to machines, her breathing steady. Robin watched her as she healed herself. She had taken a direct hit.

Right to the heart. They were battling the Hive Five when Jinx hit Raven in the chest with a hex. It was huge.

Robin had been with her, holding her. Now she was in the tower, hurt. Her left leg broken, right hand twisted, face bruised.

Rob touched her torn face, wincing when she opened her amethyst eyes. She gazed at him, tired.

"Rae?" He scooted closer to the bed, holding her good hand. She coughed, floating down. Her voice was barely audible.

"Robin."

He smiled softly, glad she was awake. His eyes traveled to her side, gauze wrapped around it. She looked terrible, but she was alive.

Raven squeezed his hand, her tone strained. "It hurts." He knew what she was talking about. Her side. He had to stitch it up, 15 stitches up her side from the battle.

He nodded, kissing her bruised cheek. "I know Rae, I know." He hated when she got hurt. Especially in front of him.
