Felix x Reader {Lights}
1st P.O.V.
Staring up at the lights in the theater, I watched as the electricians fixed and adjusted them. I moved my hair out of my face, as I got called down to the director's office
"(Y/N) (L/N)," the director said, as he tapped his foot on the carpeted ground, glaring at me."You gotta kiss him for the play, kid." His new yorker accent was strained, as he took another puff off his cigar. The black smoke clouded around the room as he continued more on it.
"Sir, I do not want to kiss Felix, even if it is for the play, can't we rework the script-." Before I had even finished, he slammed his hands on his desk and got in my face.
"Do you wanna keep this job?!" He said, frustrated. I nodded and he sat back in his chair. "Then you bets kiss the boy and get over it." I forced myself not to scream and slap him. Instead, I nodded and turned to walk out. I walked down the hallways, as I bumped into someone. I turned and saw it was Felix. Rolling my eyes, I glared at him.
"(Y/N)! Lovely to be meeting you tonight! Looking forward to the play?" He asked me, holding my hand.
"No, I'm not. I don't wanna kiss you." He looked a bit hurt by my statement but continued.
"Err...Anyway...I want to ask you something!" He smiled and bent down. Felix kissed my hand gently, as he looked back up at me. "Ready for the show darling?~" He asked in a flirty tone. I pushed his face away as I blushed. He laughed, as he got back up. I nodded as he picked me up and carried me off to the stage, where the director sat, waiting for us. I lifted my ball dress and walked up the steps. We practiced up until midnight, and I was just exhausted. As soon as we finished the last time, I collapsed into Felix's arms, worn out. Felix carried me home and put me in bed as soon as he finished talking to the director.
"Get some rest, dear. It will be a long play." Were the last things I heard before I went to sleep. The next day, went as fast as I could. Until the play. All the makeup artists were trying to make everything perfect. They ran around, like chickens with their heads cut off. They kept adjusting and readjusting my dress, put Minitoon knows how much makeup on me. And they kept working. My heart raced, as a familiar fox shadow stood next to me. Felix spun my chair to face him as he looked at my face.
"Hope you're ready." He whispered. He patted my hair then left for the stage. I took a deep breath, as I walked in after him. I gently took his hand, as we played the part. A beautiful Prince and Princess, whose parents forbid us from being together. Finally, after hours, we got to the last scene. At a wedding, we stood under the lights and spoke the lines. I gazed at him, dimly lit by the hanging lights. He stared back, relaxed and confident. Suddenly, we heard a snapping sound overhead, and we looked up. A light was coming down, about to crush me. Felix's eyes went into thin slits, as he quickly pushed me to the stage, and out of the way. He started down at me.
"Are you alright, (Y/N)?" He spoke, as he saw the fear in my eyes. He smiled softly, comforting me. I smiled back, as he kissed me gently on the lips. I smiled again, this time shyer.
"You know what? I guess that kiss wasn't so bad..."
