(I'm making Chuck a young man instead of an old zombie man in this one-shot. Oh, and Sandra doesn't exist too.)
Y/N came to a stop in front of a beautiful red-brick house with clear windows. This was her new home, the pathway to a new life.
Y/N had to admit, things weren't going perfectly for her, so she bid her parents good-bye, and here she was.
This was her chance to leave the past behind, and concentrate on the future! There's no point in worrying about something that has already happened.
Y/N lugged her heavy suitcases into her new home and moved in some boxes from the outside. That was when Y/N realized that she didn't have a box-cutter at hand.
Fortunately, Y/N had neighbors, so she made her way to the house across the street, and knocked on the door.
She wasn't expecting someone to be inside, but the door opened, and before her stood a man around her age, with curly brown hair and bright blue eyes, a curious look on his face.
'Oh, hello there! I haven't seen you around here before.' Y/N's new neighbor greeted.
'Hi! I just moved into the house across the street. I find myself short of a box cutter, so would you be so kind as to lend me one for a bit?' Y/N asked, hoping the answer would be a 'Yes'. She didn't look forward to spend the rest of the day looking for a box cutter.
'I've got one! Feel free to make yourself comfortable while I go find it. Just don't go out into the backyard and don't follow them.' Y/N's new neighbor warned, then turned around and left, leaving Y/N to think about who or what the offenders might be.
Perhaps her neighbor had a colony of mice scuffling around, or maybe a locust swarm?
Y/N look around. The interior seemed to be just as quotidian as the exterior. The only unnatural thing was a Mona Lisa painting in the oven, or was it a microwave? Y/N could never tell them apart.
Wait, a Mona Lisa painting? Don't those go for sale in the market for over a million dollars? Wasn't the chap who painted them a really famous person? Leonardo Da Vinci, was it?
Y/N could tell it wasn't a copy. She had been to enough art museums to tell a copy from an original painting. How did her neighbor get his hands on it, anyway? Would he teach her his ways?
Y/N's train of thought was interrupted when her neighbor returned with a box cutter in his hand. Perfect timing! Now, she could unpack before bedtime.
'Thank you so much!' Y/N exclaimed. 'I'm Y/N L/N, by the way.'
'No problem, Y/N!' Her new neighbor said, handing her the box cutter. 'I'm Chuck, Chuck Lloyd.'
The name sounded oddly familiar, but Y/N dismissed the feeling, thinking it must be Deja Vu.
Y/N smiled at Chuck one more time, before bidding him goodbye and walking back across the street to her new home. Now, she'll finish unpacking in a jiffy, all thanks to her new neighbor, Chuck Lloyd.

Y/N almost fell over in excitement as she tied her shoelaces. A week had passed since Y/N met Chuck. She made sure to regularly visit, and that's what she wanted to do today as well.
Y/N knocked on Chuck's door enthusiastically. However, some of that enthusiasm was lost when Chuck opened the door and the two of them awkwardly stared at each other.
Everything seemed to be normal, but there was a heavy sense of awkwardness in the air. As if something had changed between them.
Chuck cleared his throat and led Y/N inside, making tea like he always did. However, Chuck accidentally knocked one of the cups over, and winced as it hit the floor. He was lucky that it didn't shatter into a million pieces.
Chuck blushed before bending over to pick the cup up. The atmosphere was getting way too awkward.
Y/N tried to strike up some conversation to break the ice, but it was of no use.
Something had shifted in the atmosphere. They might take a while to get used to the change. Y/N wasn't sure if it was a positive or negative change, but a change nonetheless.
Before Y/N could get all philosophical, she politely excused herself and walked back across the street to her house.

Y/N really didn't want to go back to Chuck's house the next day. After all, she wasn't a fan of awkward situations.
She was sitting on her F/C couch, binge-watching her favorite movies, when there was a knock on her door.
She walked over to the couch, trying to smooth her hair down as she did. When she opened the door, she didn't even get a chance to speak when someone threw their arms around her.
'Chuck?' She questioned timidly, as they pulled away.
'Good god, Y/N! I was extremely worried, why didn't you come over today? He exclaimed, looking her over. Y/N involuntarily blushed.
'I'm fine! I was just a little busy with a few things, and forgot to call.' Y/N lied, shaking her head gently.
The two of them stood in silence, each lost in their own train of thought.
'Make sure to call next time.' Chuck said, before turning to go. Y/N didn't want him to go yet, so she threw her arms around him, making him stop in his tracks.
'Maybe you should stay, I'm free now.' She muttered under her breath, just loud enough for Chuck to hear.
He chuckled, before turning around and brushing his lips against Y/N's forehead.
'Granted, what is your favorite movie?'
Y/N laughed, before taking his hand and leading him into the Living Room.
I'm sorry for taking a long time to update! I hope you enjoyed, even though this one is quite short. Feel free to tell me what you think!
