Damian's P.O.V

I looked out into the night, frustrated, "Why in the world did he go there?"

Drake looked like he couldn't keep himself straight and collapsed,"Why did he just...."

"Threat." Todd stated and walked back inside, keeping a straight face, but obviously mad.

Hundreds of thoughts crossed my mind and I started to yell,"Threat, just cause of some stupid threat, Grayson feels obligated to sacrifice himself?!  I thought Grayson wasn't scared of some insipid threat aimed at him!"

"The thing is Damian, that it was aimed at you."

I gasped and felt a strange chill down my back,"Can I see the note?"

Todd handed it to me then turned away, and Drake peered over my shoulder,"Hey, let me see!"

Bats,

We have decided, as the Court of Owls, on a very important decision.

To rid the city of you once and for all.

We already have a plan, and are willing to tell you it, so you see how serious we are. And if you fail to please our request, then, well I think you can guess.

We will take your precious Robin from the safety of his nest and kill him, and after that, we will kill your Red Robin, and then your villainous Red Hood, and your Oracle, and blah blah blah, so on... till your nest is empty.
But there is one way that you can save your brood! If you give us your Nightwing, then you will be safe and we will not bother you for a few years or so....

This is your last warning, no more play time, give us Nightwing or suffer the consequences!

The Court of Owls

I gasped and sudden realization dawned me,"So Grayson is sacrificing himself for us, for me?"

Todd nodded and started to walk away, I could see tears in his eyes.

Drake was letting his tears fall openly,"So we never see him again?"

"We rescue him." I said surprising myself.

"What?"  Drake asked.

"We need to get him!" I told my 'brothers'.

"When did you start to care for him?!" Todd yelled madly, tears pricking his blue eyes,"You never loved him!  You are just doing this for yourself!"

"Are you kidding?  I.....  I..... love Grayson.  I love him with all my heart.  He is my partner when we fight!   He is my big brother.  He has always been there for me!"  I screamed, straining back tears.

Drake pulled me to his chest, and for once, I didn't object,"We all love him Dami, we'll get him."

Both of us looked at Jason.  Who nodded.

"Let's go get our brother."
