Chapter 25

Furious, uncomfortable, sad, annoyed, embarrassed.

Jian didn't know all of these emotions were possible to feel at the same time. But that was exactly what she was feeling while she was sitting in one of the most expensive restaurants in Seoul, wearing an uncomfortable ass red gown with heels that are almost cutting her ankles and sipping an expensive ass red wine that doesn't even taste good and sitting with people she didn't want to be associated with tonight including her freaking fiancé, listening to them talk as if they know everything about her even though they don't know shit. Oh, it is also her twentieth birthday. Amazing!

She may or may not end up throwing the shitty ass red wine at one of them at some point. Especially at her step mom who was acting like her graduation was thanks to her 'tough love' and Eric's elder douchebag brother, Aron, who hadn't changed and was still a freaking douchebag. But she is trying her hard and soul to contain herself and not lash out like she would when she was still a teenager. She is a grown up now. She can't be going around throwing wine at people. And also even though she hates both Eric and his brother, she respects their parents a lot. She is also a tiny bit happy to see them after so many years. During their time in America they adored Jian a lot after Jian's mom's death. They are Jian's father's childhood friends and business partners. They even lived in the same area. They and Jian's little step brother are the only people she can tolerate in this crowd.

"Yeah! I always knew Jian would graduate as the top of her class! I have a good eye, you see!"Jian's step mom said to the Lee's.

Jian closed her eyes. The fake ness in her voice was getting in her nerves. She remembered one time Baekhyun had told her being an adult means being responsible, being able to tolerate everything unexpected that comes one's way. Jian hadn't expected such a huge unexpected event right the day she turns an adult.

Adulting is already freaking hard.

Oh how she wishes she could drink cheap 5 dollar soju with Baekhyun instead of this 2000 dollar wine that her father bought to honor her becoming an adult.

Baekhyun was so right to worry about today. Jian knew talking to her father about her sister wouldn't be easy but what the heck is this? If only Baekhyun was here with her. Weirdly it as if Baekhyun is somewhere near her, very close to her. She knows she might be being crazy because he said he was busy today. And she can't even raise her head to much to look around because as soon as she raises her head her eyes would meet Eric's who very conveniently is sitting at the chair right across her. And she is trying really hard to overcome this but as soon as she looks at his eyes she remembers all the old events, memories both good and bad, the pain he caused, everything. She had never thought about all these after coming back to Korea. His memories, pains were locked in a deserted part of her mind. She didn't want to visit that part anytime soon. Not before she dealt with her other problems. But before she could, he came in front of her, without any warning and sent her head into a turmoil of past emotions.

Jian sighed.

It would be so much better if Baekhyun was around to help but she can't always rely on him, can she? She needs to be a rely on herself more than anyone. She needs to grow up.

Once Baekhyun had given her an hour lecture on 'how to be an adult', Jian hadn't listened to any of it thinking it was one of his episodes where he was too bored in his room and looked for ways to give her useless information. Those informations didn't seem so useless now.

Jian wasn't hearing anything anyone was saying because listening to all those bullshit would just make her blood boil but she was pulled back out of her trance when Eric decided to call her once again. He has been trying to start a conversation for the nth time and Jian wasn't having any of it. All she remembers was the last words she was told by him.

"So what do want me to do? It's not like I killed her or I can bring her back to life."

"I literally have no reason to be your therapist or your comfort person, I have my own life to live and be successful at and it's not my fault that you want to keep mourning over someone no one in the world knew existed or cares about."

"To be honest if you were faster. All of this wouldn't have happened."

Jian quickly got up. Everyone looked at her as they stopped talking.

"I..I will go get some fresh air. Please excuse me."

Before anyone could answer Jian kept her napkin and wine glass on the table and walked towards the huge balcony of the restaurant and stood by the railing looking out. She could see the huge garden of this place and then she could see a few high rise buildings of the beautiful city of Seoul. The environment looked so peaceful, wind was blowing gently. Everything felt so nice, unlike what she felt on the inside. It felt like a tornado of emotions was brewing in her.

It would be so nice if she could talk to grandma, Jaemin, Chenle or Baekhyun and escape from the reality. But she foolishly left her phone at the table. Nothing seems to be working out.

One of the waiters came to her while she was there. Jian didn't look at him completely, only through her peripheral vision, but he seemed oddly familiar even though his bags were almost covering his eyes and his mask was covering almost all of his face. Jian frowned thinking why does he look so familiar?

Jian wondered if she should start up a conversation with him to pass time. He seems comforting. It's funny how she finds more comfort in a waiter being here than being with the people she knew for her whole life. Before the waiter guy could speak Eric came up behind her and spoke.

"Jian-ah?"

Oh fucking hell not again.

Get the damn hint, dude.

Jian took a deep breath to stop herself from lashing out. That didn't work so she took another breath.

Eric looked at the waiter and asked politely,"Could you please excuse for a second?"

Jian wanted to stop him from leaving, even the waiter seemed hesitant to leave. But Eric's raised eyebrow made fun go out of the balcony but he still stayed by the glass door. Jian could still see him in her peripheral vision far away.

Jian sighed again.

"Jian-ah look, I know you don't wanna talk to me. I understand but listen it's important,"Eric said.

Jian scoffed,"Sure."

"Jian-ah..."

"Please stop talking dude. I'm already on the verge of deciding whether to jump off of the balcony or throw you off if it. So just..okay?"

"But Jian-ah, you've already ignored me for so many years. Thousands of calls, texts but no reply! You never gave me a chance to explain myself and apologize.."

Jian took a deep breath and finally looked at him who seemed genuinely concerned about her.

"Please shut the fuck up, Lee Eric."

She had no reason to listen to his apology and she wasn't even prepared to do so. He was the one who willingly walked away when she was at the most fragile. She had thought of him as her closest, her confidant, the one person who would be on her side for the rest of life, her first love, her source of comfort. All of this might be childish feelings she had when she was a teenager but they were true. But what did he do when she was already on the verge of losing her mind over her sister's passing, blaming herself continuously? He walked away after crushing her more with his behaviors and words..words that still hurt like hell and will probably hurt till the day she dies. It hurt most cause the words were coming from one of the people she cared for the most in the world.

It's true that people leave but their words stay forever.

And all of that for what? So he could finally do well at school? Finally jump up from his 2nd rank because Jian was a mess? Jian knew even though they were close as hell they were still competitors for the first place in literally everything. School, championships, life everything. What she didn't know was how much it bothered him that he was always second. So when Nina passed away he saw it as an opportunity to finally come first. Jian didn't mind it, she was too much of a mess to mind. But at one point he stopped looking out for her, stopped comforting her and when she went to him who to her felt like her only source of comfort in the whole USA, he said all these mean things to her and left her alone to go to a 'very important study session'.

After that Jian couldn't stay in USA anymore, she had to leave. He left her when she was mentally at the rock bottom of her life. He threw all their memory, their bond, their friendship, the future they might've had together for what? For a fucking first place?

But unfortunately she still doesn't hate him. The good memories with him, the childhood, the growing up with him was too precious. Jian couldn't bring herself to hate him, that is why she never thought about him ever after this, afraid that she might start hating him.

"Jian-ah, you can shout at me, do whatever but please hear me out for once. I have been beating myself over the stupid words I said all these years. I.."

Jian sighed out loud.

"..please I never meant any of it. I was just a teenager who was going through a lot of pressure from his family to be the top of his class. I didn't know better. I really didn't know what I was saying and that day you left..I even went to the airport to stop you and apologize but I was late and you had blocked me.."

"A whole Ass kdrama,"Jian muttered under her breath.

"Jian-ah. I'm sincere. We should finally talk it out, don't you think? Please stop staying silent and say all the things you want to say to me. You can choke slam me if you want, hell, you can throw me off of the building as well.."

Sounds very tempting.

"Jian-ah, please I will give you more time if you need but please just for old time's sake talk to me for once. I won't be able to live knowing I'm hated by the only girl I've ever love.."

He stopped when Jian chuckled. He gulped but continued,"Let's not waste this chance that has come to us. Especially cause you are coming back to USA to my college..we have a chance to work things out."

Jian frowned and finally looked at him, confused,"What?"

Eric raised his brows,"What?"

"What did you just say? About me coming back to USA?"

"Umm..your dad said he's finally taking you back to USA this time. He has even talked to my college and reserved a seat in Business studies for you. We will be studying together and..I heard your grandma is sick and needs surgery. Your dad is taking her there too. Your tickets are already cut too. You didn't know? The flight is the day after tomorrow."

Jian couldn't believe what she just heard. She should've known her dad has an ulterior motive of coming here. But this is unacceptable. He can't be taking decisions on her life without her consent. And she's hundred percent sure grandma doesn't know any of this.
There's no way in hell she's going back to America. At least not like this. Especially when she has a whole Ass future planned in Korea.

Jian's head started hurting. All these emotions are too much to process.

Her heart feels like it is going to burst, in a very bad way.

Jian took a deep breath for the umpteenth time. Adult. She's an adult. She can't cause a scene here and ask her father what the fuck is going on. She has to calm herself down and talk to him after this dinner, or tomorrow.

Baekhyun-ah..what should I do?

Right then to make the matters worse Aron came at the balcony while snakily clapping.

"Well well we'll, Jiannie, you are talking to your fiancé but you won't talk to me?"

Jian always hated him and his guts. To be very honest she hates everything about him.

"So how's life? I heard you are not living in Seoul? I heard you are living in a teeny tiny house in a tiny town. Must be hard for our Jiannie. But everything is gonna be okay now.."

"Hyung..we are talking please leave us alone for a second,"Eric said desperately.

"Oh why do you want to keep her only to yourself? Can I not steal her for a second,"Aron quickly got his phone out and scrolled through something. He then held the screen in front of Jian's face,"Jian-ah, look my new mansion."

And then he swiped and showed her a new Lamborghini,"My new baby."

Again swiped and said,"This is my new yacht."

Jian rolled her eyes. He really hasn't changed. It is just a matter of time before he starts showing all the purple he dated. Jian really doesn't need it right now. He is the only person with whom Jian never hid her annoyance. She would always roll her eyes anytime he spoke about something stupid. Aron always hated her for that.

Aron saw that and turned his phone off,"I see your attitude didn't change. Oh I was in the wrong for thinking your attitude would leave along with unknown and unwanted sister."

"HYUNG!"Eric said and tried to push Aron out of the balcony.

But Aron pushed Eric instead.

"Why? What did I say so wrong? Didn't you say the same shit?"Aron asked Eric and then came back to Jian and smirked.

Jian was quiet.

"And I heard your dad say you are finally over her? Is that why you look so absolutely stunning tonight? Eric is a lucky guy,"Aron said and reached his hand out to push the strand of Jian's hair away from her face,"Honestly I always thought that Nina being gone is a good thing.."

Something in Jian had twisted. She couldn't take it anymore. She let all her self control go right that instant. She also had her limits.

Fuck being an adult.

Imma do this my way.

Jian grabbed Aron's hand that was about to reach out for her and twisted it making him turn around using it. He was screaming in pain. Jian smirked and held it tighter and whispered in his ears,"Oppa, you are right. My attitude hasn't changed and it will never. Just like you. You are the same little Aron who flaunts about the money his parents give him cause he is too useless to make money on his own."

"Jian!"

"Opps! Did I hit too close to home, Chad?"Jian smirked.

"Jian-ah..Leave him. It's enough..people are looking at us,"Eric said.

Jian smirked and tightened her grip,"Then I should give them a show worth their while."

"Jian-ah, Jian-ah, I'm sorry, let go, it hurts! Ow!!"Aron cried.

Jian saw the waiters starting to come their way to see what was actually happening and break the fight. The waiter from earlier came in the balcony and before he could come close Jian let go of Aron's arm harshly.

Aron fell on the ground and then quickly got up and ran up to his mother to complain just like Jian had hoped. Her smirk grew wider.

Now that she has started a show, it must go on.

Let's go and give some people a piece of my mind.

Eric tried to hold her but Jian ran to her father's table quickly and saw Aron over-exaggerating what happened to his parents. Jian's father looked at her angrily,"Jung Jian, What do you think you are doing, apologize to Aron right now."

Jian smirked and the next thing she did shocked everyone. She got on one of the chairs and then got on the table and took a butter knife and plate and smacked the fork on the plate to create a sound to gather everyone's attention. It was working. Everyone present in the restaurant was looking at her.

Was what she doing rush and because of anger? Yes

Did she care? No.

"Ladies and gentleman! I am Jung Jian and today is my twentieth birthday!" As soon as she said that everyone in the restaurant clapped, except people at her table, who were trying to get her down,"Such a happy and special day, right? But sadly today I'm spending the day with the people I hate the most! So I'm here to share my sadness without you and give you a little entertainment while I'm at it."

The people again surprisingly clapped.

Jian smiled and looked at the people at her table,"Oh? These people..whom do I start with?" She scanned them and then stopped and pointed at her dad,"Let's start with my amazing dad! He is so amazing, he never even once tried to make a father daughter relationship with me. He has literally no feelings and expects me to be the same. He pushed my elder sister to suicide after ignoring her existence and has not a single ounce of remorse. He didn't care when my poor sister begged for his acknowledgment. And after she passed he just said it was because 'she couldn't take reality' Like What? No, you are the reason she died. It is the reality. If you showed some sort of freaking emotion to her then she wouldn't freaking have had this fate. And whenever I tried to talk to him, he shut me off. I stopped talking about it for years, did so many other things to get him to understand how I felt about her passing but he called all that 'rebelling phase' and ignored them as well. Just wow."

A tear dropped from her eyes but she quickly wiped it,"I wanted to talk to him about this today, but he again did something so unnecessary by calling all the people I hate to this get to gather without asking me. Oh now that we are at the topic of shit he does without asking me, he also enrolled me in a college in USA in a subject I don't wanna read..you guessed it..without asking me!! Wohoo, pretty amazing of a dad right? But guess what..I'm not going there. I'm staying in Korea and getting in the top college here with scholarship so I don't have to see him or use his freaking money ever again. He can use his shit ton of money on building more mansions and buying things he's never ever gonna need!"

Everyone again clapped. They all were immersed in her story for some reason. They all seemed to be on her side. The waiters and managers had stopped trying to get her down. Mainly because the masked waiter was keeping them in check and then because every customer was enjoying as well.

Sometimes you need to have some entertainment in your life. And sometimes that entertainment can come in the form of a newly turned twenty year old beautiful girl, in a beautiful red dress, on a table of an expensive ass restaurant telling her life story.

Jian's dad looked speechless. He couldn't believe what his daughter was doing.

Jian felt like a weight lift off of her shoulder. She felt good. Amazing,"Okay so who is our next person," She then pointed her knife at her step mom, Mira,"Oh yes, my amazing stepmom, who believes she is the sole reason of my success when she doesn't even give two shits about me or my life. All she gets about is getting praises from her kitty party squad over raising me, who isn't even her child and gossiping about richass people. Okay Karen, let's not talk too much about you. You can gossip about how ungrateful of a child I am in your next kitty part with other Karens. You are welcome."

Her stepmom was cussing her out from down there but she again scanned the people with her knife and pointed at Eric's parents,"I really don't have much complaints about you. You two loved me a lot, I sincerely thank you for that. But your elder son is trash and your younger son..well..I..am never in hell associating myself with him again. I just can't."

Then she pointed her knife at Aron,"Aha! Isn't it Chad? My favorite Oppa who picks chicks up using his dad's money and goes crazy when a chick rejects him?"Jian shook her head,"There is a chance that you are never gonna change but I really in my heart hope you do so. Please be more like your parents. Who else is there?"

Jian then looked at her little step brother, Ryan who was the only one cheering for her at her table. Jian smiled,"Oh my cute little Ryan. I'm so glad that they didn't manage to turn you into a stone yet. Don't turn out like your parents. And don't be a lunatic like me either. I hope you have a great life."

She then looked at the last person, Eric and sighed. She had so many things to say to him. He looked at her sincerely. Ready to hear and take all she had to say. He knows what he did was wrong. But today is just not the day to mend their friendship. Maybe someday in the future. But not now.

"Eric Lee,"Jian said and sighed. She suddenly remembered when Jaemin said that he wanted to say so much to Minhee but just saying one sentence made him so much better. Jian wonders if that would work in this situation too,"You freaking suck."

Jaemin was right. It worked. After saying all that she felt so light she could fly with the air. She smiled at the crowd and said,"That would be all. Thank you so much for listening to me. I don't know what I would do if you all started complaining and tried to get me down. Thank you for not making my twentieth birthday more worse than it already was. I am gonna go now."

With that she kept the plate and the knife on the table and got down. Her step mother and Aron were cussing her out and her dad was fuming with anger.

"I will never forgive you for what you did today,"Her dad said.

Jian shrugged,"Never cared, still don't."

"Don't even think of reaching out to me if you don't get the scholarship in the top university of Seoul. I'm gonna get you off of my family registry if you don't after the scene you caused today."

Jian again shrugged,"Oh,"She quickly reached for something in her purse and got a letter out,"This is the last letter my sister left for me. Give it a read if you have time. If this also doesn't raise remorse in you..just..I don't know. Don't lose it, it's precious to me. And I won't be taking your fancy car home. Thank you."

With that Jian walked out the restaurant, feeling free and the best she's felt in a long long while.

Jian had found a park nearby the restaurant, she was now sitting at the park. The more she was sitting the more mixed feelings she was getting. She had finally told her father what she needed to tell but why did she have to talk about she is going to get in the best college in Seoul. She's not that confident that she can do it.

"Ahh!"Jian screamed,"Why did I need to be so dramatic?"

"I know right?"Suddenly a voice came from beside her. The familiar voice shocked Jian. She freaked out and turned to her side only to see Baekhyun sitting by her side with a smile on his face.

Jian was still shocked,"Where did you come from? It's not the wine, is it?"Jian pinched herself but he was still there,"Wait, you're real?"

Baekhyun chuckled and took the hand she pinched and caressed over it,"Yes, I'm real."

Jian took a closer look and he was wearing the waiters outfit. That means he was the masked waiter. Well..that explains why he felt so familiar and why she felt Baekhyun was around her somewhere. Jian widened her eyes when she drew the conclusion.

Oh my fucking God, he watched all of it.

"I thought you were busy?"

"I was but if I wasn't there at that time, I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight..or any night till you tell me the whole thing that happened."

Jian nodded understanding that there is no way in hell shes getting away without him nagging for more than five hours about the she caused a scene in a reputable restaurant and how disappointed he is especially after she kept saying she's gonna turn an amazing adult from today and grow up.
What she did today was far away from being a responsible adult.

"Are you..really disappointed?"

"About what?"

"What I did today? Getting on table and stuff?"

Baekhyun smiled as Jian was ready to get scolded.

"No, Jian. You were so cool today. I'm proud of you."

"Huh?"Jian couldn't believe it.

Baekhyun smiled,"You were amazing."

"But what I did wasn't adult like, Baekhyun-ah."

"Who said, it wasn't? And no one can turn into an adult in one day. Jian. It needs experience, and with the experience you have, I would say you did a pretty damn well job,"Baekhyun then clapped,"You also got a bunch of people to clap for you."

Jian smiled,"Thank you, Baek."

"So how do you feel? After getting all that out?"

"I feel amazing honestly. I feel like some scars I have are healing. But.."

"But?"

"I was being so dramatic when I said imma get in Seoul's best university but honestly I don't know if I can. And if I don't..it's gonna be pretty embarrassing. Ugh. Maybe I should've said I'm gonna get in one of the top five? Am I still good enough for that.."

Baekhyun chuckled,"It's nice to finally see you worry about something like that. And don't worry. You are gonna study hard and get in the top one. I know. I will be there to cheer you on."

"More like nag you on."

"Yeah that too,"Baekhyun smiled,"So it's still your birthday. Is there anything you wanna do in Seoul?"

"Not really,"Jian lied, she can't hold Baekhyun off more. He can't bunk more of his work for her,"I just wanna go back to Goyang. Can you get me a taxi or someth.."

Before she could say it her stomach growled. Loudly. Baekhyun heard it. Jian's cheeks turned red. She actually skipped meals since morning because she was so nervous for tonight and even at dinner she couldn't eat much. Now all that is in her system right now is some appetizer and a shit ton of expensive wine.

"Let's get something to eat,"Baekhyun said.

"No, it's okay. I will eat after getting home.."

"No. Come."

"But.."

"It's cause I'm hungry. I didn't eat anything the whole day. So what do you wanna eat?"

Jian sighed,"Fine, I just saw a corn dog stall. Let's go get one."

"But is it enough for dinner?"

"I want corn dog, Baek,"Jian said while getting up,"And you also like it. So win win!"

Baekhyun sighed. He knows she is doing this so she doesn't waste more of her time. But he really is okay with her wasting his time. Why doesn't she understand that?

As they were walking towards the corn dog stall, Jian stopped abruptly. Baekhyun also stopped and turned around,"What?"

"I can't anymore."

"You can't anymore what?"

"Do you have scissors?"

"What? Why?"

"Give them to me, it's an emergency. You always seem to carry around random shit. Just give it to me."

Baekhyun sighed and got a pair of scissors out of his pockets,"Here."

What Jian did with the scissors shocked Baekhyun so much, he even couldn't stop her. She took the scissors and cut her beautiful red gown right at her knees and tore it haphazardly.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Walking in this fucking dress is a sport. So not my vibe."

"Are you crazy? Everyone's looking at you."

Jian turned to him to return the scissors. She threw the cut part of the dress in the nearest dustbin,"Baekhyun-ah? After what I did today I'm the restaurant do you think I'm not not crazy?"

Baekhyun stayed quiet because she's right. But he honestly is impressed that she managed to stay in this dress as long as she did.

"And it's my birthday, let me do my thing,"Jian said and did something strange again.

She got the high ass heels she was wearing and threw them away dramatically, in the dustbin. It left her completely barefoot. With barefoot she walked towards Baekhyun and said,"Now im good. Let's go."

"You little brat! Do you even know how dangerous walking barefoot is?"Baekhyun said and was about to go to the dustbin to rescue her shoes.

Jian stopped him,"There's no way in hell I'm putting those nightmares back on. It's my birthday so don't make me do something I don't want to."

Baekhyun sighed,"Stop acting like a child. You are supposed to be an adult now."

"Didn't you say no one can turn into an adult in one day?"Jian smirked.

Baekhyun gave up knowing there's no point of arguing to her. He sighed once again and sat down in front of her facing his back to her.

"What are you doing?"Jian asked, confused.

"Get on my back."

"There's no way in hell I'm doing that. It ain't no kdrama Byun Baekhyun, snap out of it."

Baekhyun turned his face to her,"If you don't get on my back right now, if literally gonna pick you up, firefighter carry you through the entirety of Seoul. Do you want that, birthday girl?"

Jian knew he was serious. So she couldn't protest and got up on his back. He soon stood up, not seeming to have any problem giving her a piggyback ride. Everyone was looking at them but Jian didn't care.

What Jian did care about was how warm, comfortable and wide his back felt. Jian's face was turning as red as her dress. She is happy that Baekhyun couldn't see it.

The corn dog stall owner was nice enough to give Jian and Baekhyun to chairs to sit and enjoy their corn dogs in given that Jian had no shoes. Jian was really grateful for that. Baekhyun was too that he didn't have to carry her while eating. Eating cheap corn dog with Baekhyun on a semi crowded road and chitchatting while not giving a damn about the world was undoubtedly the highlight of Jian's birthday for her.

At one point of eating Baekhyun asked,"So..I've been meaning to ask...who's this Eric guy? Your ex?"

"Umm..not really.."

"That's great..."

"..he's my 'fiancé'."

Baekhyun choked on his corn dog, he totally wasn't ready to hear that,"WHAT? You have a fiance?"

Jian sighed,"Chill it's not that deep. Our parents were best of friends and business partners. And we happened to be the same age and we were hella close so they decided we should get married when we grow up. But we won't. It's okay."

Baekhyun narrowed his eyes,"Do you have feelings about him?"

"What? No!"

Baekhyun still kept his eyes narrowed while munching his corn dog. So Jian sighed and told him everything about Eric. How she felt, what happened, where she stands now, how she might forgive him in the future.

After listening to it all Baekhyun finally said,"Oh."

"Just oh?"

Baekhyun nodded. But he looked like he had something to say.

"If you wanna say something just say it."

"No I was thinking of smacking his brother at the back of his head but now that I think about it, he seems to be the one who needs a good smack on his head."

Jian smiled at Baekhyun's remark. He looked like a child for some reason who is upset at an elder for being mean.

"It's unfair."

"What's unfair?" Baekhyun asked.

"You know so much about my life but I know so little about you."

"Huh? You know the story about me that no one knows about though."

"Yeah I know. But still I don't know anything about what you do, where you stay, your friends, lifestyle, anything actually,"Jian said,"You know what forget anything I said. I was just babbling shit."

"But I think you know the absolute most about me,"Baekhyun said,"My past, my likes, my dislikes, my real personality all that Jazz."

"Yeah I guess. Baekhyun-ah, I'm tired now. Can you find me a taxi. I wanna go home and sleep. So much happened today."

"Okay,"Baekhyun smiled.

Baekhyun again piggybacked her to a taxi. When he put her in the taxi she was ready to look at him and bid him goodbye but surprisingly he also got in the taxi by her.

"Hey? I'm okay, you don't have to drop me off.."

"Adjusshi, Take us to 48 Hannamdong, Un village,"Baekhyun told the driver.

"Okay!"

"What? That's not Goyang."

"Yeah, of course not. It's my house."

"What? Why?"

"I can't send you home wearing a torn Ass dress and no shoes. People would think you fought a bear on your twentieth birthday."

"I don't need any.."

"Just listen to me for once. Oh my God, is it that hard?"

"Fine...I guess."

Baekhyun smiled,"Good girl."

Baekhyun's house was huge. HUGE. So huge it had an indoor pool in it. The house looked like someone might get lost in it.

'Oh my God' is all Jian has been saying since she entered this place. Unbelievable. Everything is so nice and boujee. She can't believe the Baekhyun who stacks hundreds of food coupons in his wallet just for a discount lives here. She knew he was rich but she didn't know he was this rich.

"Here you go,"Baekhyun has brought some of his clothes for her to change into.

"Are you sure this is your house?"Jian asked.

"You've asked this for the fifteenth time, what kind of loser did you think I am?"

"You don't want me to answer that."

Baekhyun sighed,"Just go and change. I'm also gonna change."

"Oh my God,"Jian said again before getting into the closest room and changing in Baekhyun's baggy grey sweatshirts and sweatpants. Once she came back Baekhyun wasn't at the living room and there's no way in hell shes gonna attempt to search for him in his bigass house. So she called him, he just simply said he was downstairs at the garage. So she should come there to. He would drive her back to Seoul.

Jian felt sad leaving the house without jumping into the indoor pool. But she did get out and took the elevator to get to the ground.

Even the elevator is boujee.

Is there anything in this building that's not boujee?

When the elevator door to the ground floor opened she saw rows of fancy cars of the inhabitants of this building. As she got down from the elevator she saw Baekhyun sitting on a blue fancy Lamborghini and waving at her.

Her eyes widened when she saw the car.

"This yours?"

Baekhyun just smirked and got down,"Get in loser, we're going driving."

Jian squealed in excitement and quickly got in the lambo. She hasn't had too much experience of riding a lambo. Hence she is really excited.

Baekhyun quickly took the car out and soon they had reached a lonely part of Seoul. Jian had admired the Seoul night view.

"Where actually are we going, Baek? Do we have a destination or are we just driving around?"

Baekhyun smirked,"You'll see."

Jian shrugged and sat back, admiring the view.

After driving for a while they had reached an knots deserted part of Seoul and Baekhyun had stopped the car in front of a huge stadium looking thing. The huge gates were closed with a huge red 'X' on them.

Jian looked at Baekhyun curiously,"What is this?"

"Your birthday gift."

"Huh?"

"I thought you wanted to know about my life, so here we are at my workplace."

Jian's eyes widened,"What? Really?"

Baekhyun nodded,"But we get in there in one condition. You are gonna forget everything you saw tonight tomorrow morning and never ever tell anyone what you saw. Can you promise me that?"

"Yes yes I can!"

"Can I trust you?"

"You sure can. And I know that your freedom is more precious than my life. So don't worry."

Baekhyun smiled and then looked ahead,"Then let's let this night begin!"

As soon as he said that two heavily armed guards came, saluted him and opened the huge doors of the stadium.

What Jian saw inside made her jaw drop. She couldn't believe it. Baekhyun
smirked and leaned towards her ears,"Welcome to the headquarters of 'Ace'!"

Jian widened her eyes again. Ace? Korea's biggest mafia association? Baekhyun is a part of that?

Baekhyun started his car and drove in the huge territory full of wonders and things Jian has never seen before.

Tonight is going to be one hell of a night.
