"MINHEE-AHH!!! WHY!!"

Jaemin was bawling his eyes out on the couch of Jian's living room. Baekhyun was sitting by his side trying to comfort him. Jian was sitting on the other couch, reading her textbook, not giving a damn about what was happening to Jaemin. He has a mental breakdown once every month so she was used to it.

"WHY!!"Jaemin cried again and Baekhyun handed him a new tissue to wipe his eyes with. The living room floor was filled with the tissue's Jaemin had used to wipe away his never ending tears for the past hour.

"It's okay, Jaemin-ah.."

The calling bell rang. Baekhyun sighed and got up to get the door. Chenle was here with Daegal.

"Welcome to the melodrama,"Baekhyun said and sighed.

Chenle raised his eyebrows, confused.

Baekhyun didn't reply just signed him to come in. Chenle came in the living room and let Daegal free in the house and gave her a few toys to play with. Daegal was wearing a new head bow, making her more adorable. Baekhyun didn't miss Jian's small smile when she saw Daegal but she soon went back to her text book. Daegal was playing with her toys that Chenle brought.

"What happened to you?"Chenle asked looking at Jaemin who looked like a mess.

"Please don't even ask,"Baekhyun sighed while sitting beside Jaemin and putting his hand on Jaemin's shoulder to try and console him.

"MINHEE IS ANGRY AT ME!!"Jaemin said continued to bawl,"I'm afraid that's why she won't talk to me ever!"

"Why is she angry and when is even your anniversary?"Chenle asked and then looked at Jian,"And why are you studying so intensely? I thought your whole brand was built around the fact that you won't study even though you're brilliant as fuck? What's happening here today?"

Jian looked up and glared at Baekhyun,"I wonder why?" And then went back to studies.

Baekhyun smirked.

Chenle didn't understand any of it. But as he came back to Jaemin's topic. Jaemin was too sad to actually tell Chenle the story to Baekhyun chimed in and explained in short form. Apparently Minhee wanted to hang out with Jaemin today and go to watch a movie with him. But Jaemin had spent all of his money on buying gifts for their one year anniversary that was in seven days and currently was broke. So he said no and that he was going to hang out with Jian today. For the first time in their relationship he refused to do what she said and that's why she's angry and isn't receiving his calls and went away to Seoul to one of her cousins. Now Jaemin is afraid that she won't talk to him ever because she is so angry.

"She's in Seoul you said?"Chenle asked,"That can't be considering the fact that I just saw her at the mall while buying Daegal a few things, holding hands with another guy and going into the movie theater."

Jaemin stopped weeping and looked at him blankly. It looked like he was thinking something in his mind.

"Are you sure it was her?"Baekhyun asked.

Chenle nodded. The room fell in silence.

"Nah,"Jaemin said,"She's in Seoul."

"No, She's in a movie theater in Goyang with another guy,"Chenle said.

"No."

"Yes."

"Must be someone else.."

"No."

"Must be her cousin or her friend..y'all are crazy for thinking about her like that.."

Chenle and Baekhyun couldn't believe how blind he was. What did this Minhee girl do to her?

"Nah, she isn't like that. It's crazy,"Jaemin shook his head. He looked like he was talking to himself to convince himself. Chenle and Baekhyun felt so bad for him.

"Jaemin-ah, Minhee is just not the girl for you.."Baekhyun said.

"No hyung.. we love each other.."

"That's not true, everyone except you thinks that she's just playing you,"Chenle said,"You are too naive to see that, Jaemin. There are more red flags in this relationship than in the whole world.."

"No no.."Jaemin shook his head.

"I SWEAR TO GOD,"Jian suddenly shouted while slamming her text book on the coffee table and standing up,"You Godforsaken simp!"

The three of them flinched at Jian's sudden outburst and widened their eyes. Jian walked to Jaemin, grabbed his shoulders and picked him up from the couch and looked straight at Jaemin,"Listen, I tried about a thousand times to tell you as nicely as I could that Minhee is a lyin' ass ho.."

"Language Jian," Baekhyun said.

Jian took and deep breath and glared at Baekhyun before turning to Jaemin and saying,"She is the fakest person I've ever seen. She is just dating you to sober up her image of being and hanging out with school bullies. And it worked. People seemed to forget what kind of bitch she was six months before because in school she roams around you arm in arm. You are the idiot who thinks she has feelings for you. Chenle is right. I don't know how the heck a person can be so blind to see all the red flags."

Jian took a deep breath and then continued while the others stared at her in awe,"You pay for all the damn dates, you are the one that needs to be available all the damn time while she doesn't show up when you need her the most, she lies to you like today, she flirts with every dude that is in sight even Baekhyun, she has no regards of your feelings, she most definitely cheats on you and the anniversary you are so excited for I doubt she even cares for or remembers the anniversary!!"

She again paused before shouting,"And your dream of marrying her and having a football team of kids won't ever EVER come true. Snap the fuck out of it."

After that whole lecture Jian slowly let go of his shoulder. Chenle clapped earring glare from Jaemin.

"Jian-ah, I know you are my bestfriend but this is too much. You can't disrespect my girl like that. She is flirty, that's just her personality, she didn't cheat on me nor did she forget our anniversary,"Jaemin said.

Jian sighed,"You know what hun? Keep telling yourself that and earn yourself the thickest gold medal for being the biggest freaking simp of the century. I don't know what she did to you but don't expect sympathy from me when she leaves you in pieces. I would just snort and say I fucking told you so."

With that she picked up her textbook, stomped to her room and slammed the door shut behind her loudly making the three of them flinch again.

"Should've brought popcorn,"Chenle said,"And you wanted a wholeass football team of kids?"

Jaemin glared at him and sat back down. Baekhyun nodded at Chenle and mouthed,"He likes kids too much."

Baekhyun was trying to hide his smile. Jian's outburst was so sudden but it was really nice to see her express her anger.

That's a nice leap!

But he is really worried about Jaemin. God knows what would happen to him. There has to be a way to get Jaemin away from Minhee's spell.

Jaemin this time was awfully quiet. There were so many things on his mind. Jian's sudden outburst was really scary but what she said wasn't leaving his mind.

Baekhyun was once again getting ready for his mission. He received news that Miri is on her way to Goyang. She is surely gonna come to the club. Normally she doesn't come this often but Baekhyun had charmed her and he knew that's why she would be coming back to the club soon enough. That's why he wasn't too worried about the mission. He already came up with the family emergency story he would tell her for bailing the last time. This time he can't and won't fail.

While he was getting ready Jian knocked and came into his room. Grandma is home today so he wouldn't have to be worried about her and he could focus on work.

"Hey," Baekhyun said.

"Going for mission?" Jian asked.

Baekhyun nodded while fixing his cuffs.

"Best of luck and please succeed this time or else I will feel like shit for ruining it.."

"Don't feel like shit and I will succeed it this time. I'm the Night Rain after all!"He said while flipping his hair proudly.

Jian rolled her eyes at his cockiness.

He turned towards her and asked while spreading his arms a bit and turning,"How do I look?"

Even he knows he looks good.

"So So,"Jian said.

Baekhyun smiled,"I should get going now. I won't return tonight. You and grandma eat dinner without me. Don't wait up."

Jian frowned,"Literally no one was gonna wait for you anyway."

"Ouch."

"Anyway Listen, don't go in front of grandma like this. Sneak out of the house quietly. She might get a heart attack if she sees the nerdy, freelancer living on her roof looking like this." Jian said while pointing at him from top to bottom.

"By this you mean completely breathtakingly handsome?"

"No like a fuckb.."

"Okay good bye, take care!" Baekhyun said while pushing past her and sneaking out of the house to get done with his mission.

And what do you know..Baekhyun had succeeded his mission by the end of the morning. He did everything as planned. He took super drunk Miri to a hotel he had reserved a room in, spiked her drink, exchanged her ring and when she woke up in the morning he said that he had a work emergency and he had to leave. He stayed till she woke up just so that she doesn't get suspicious. She won't remember what happened last night because of being super drunk and the drug in her drink. While getting out of the hotel he was body searched by her bodyguards. But because of a his tricks they couldn't find anything on him. He's the Night Rain after all.

Baekhyun was whistling happily on his way home. It was 10 am, all the kids were at school and there were not many people on the street. That's why Baekhyun put the emerald ring on his pinky while walking. He figured no one would notice it. Normally everyone knows immediately after he's stolen something. He likes this big buzz but this time it won't happen so soon. So this was his way of showing the world that the Night Rain has struck again. For now.

While Baekhyun just on the front porch of the house he heard an annoying voice call him from behind,"OPPA!!"

Baekhyun sighed as soon as he heard it. He fake smiled and turned around to see sure enough Minhee was in front of her house and was now quickly walking towards him. She stood in front of him and said,"Oh my God, Oppa. You look so freaking good today!!"

Baekhyun wasn't looking perfect like last night. His hair was messy, his shirt was crinkled but he still looked good enough.

Baekhyun smiled,"Thank you, Minhee-ah."

"Where were you Oppa?" Minhee asked while batting her eyelashes.

"Oh I was in Seoul for an alumni. Spent the night at a friend's house,"Baekhyun said,"Don't you have school?"

"Ah! I skipped today."

"Is it because of Jaemin? Are you and Jaemin still not okay?"

Minhee got awfully nervous and quiet. Something was certainly up. But Baekhyun didn't want to dig too deep into that. She was quiet and out of words so Baekhyun took that opportunity to excuse himself and go back into the house. When he was turning around Minhee saw the emerald ring on his pinky.

"Woah, that's a pretty ring!"Minhee thought but didn't say it out loud.

One afternoon Taehyung and Yunho came to Goyang to collect the emerald ring and put it somewhere safe. They decided to meet at a park nearby. They had parked their car not far from the park and were sitting on a bench waiting for Baekhyun. As soon as Baekhyun came he ran and jumped into Yunho's arm for a hug. Yunho was really angry at Baekhyun and was ready to give him an earful but as soon as he did that Yunho's anger disappeared. Baekhyun is just like his little brother to him. He feels so sad that Baekhyun isn't able to move freely even in Korea.

Baekhyun's most beautiful trait is that he is as free as a bird.

He loves his freedom. And now that fact that Baekhyun can't even come to Seoul freely saddens Yunho deeply. Yunho knows Baekhyun is also heartbroken about this fact but he doesn't show it to anyone. But Yunho understands.

"Hyung!" Baekhyun said while pulling out of the hug.

"Baekhyun-ah!"Yunho said.

Baekhyun smiled ear to ear,"It's been so long."

Baekhyun quickly handed Taehyung the ring. He packed the ring as discreetly as possible so no one suspects anything. Baekhyun and Yunho chatted for a few minutes. Yunho again feels really sad that Baekhyun has to live in a small room when he has a huge apartment in the most luxurious complex in Seoul. Yunho was busy so he had to leave quickly. After bidding Baekhyun farewell Yunho and Taehyung got into the car.

That's when he heard a girl call Baekhyun,"Baekhyun-ah!"

Both Baekhyun and Yunho turned to the direction of the sound and saw a teenage girl standing at the end of the park, she looks like she's returning home from school. Her short dark blue hair was flying in the wind. Baekhyun ran up to her while Yunho examined her quietly while sitting in the car.

"Hyungnim, shall we start?"The driver asked.

"Hold on a second. Taehyung..is that the teenager Baekhyun's been living with?"Yunho asked while pointing at the girl and Baekhyun talking about something.

"Yes Hyungnim."

Yunho sighed and rolled his window up,"Start the car now."

Seeing Yunho suddenly so anxious Taehyung asked,"Hyungnim, is anything wrong?"

"I understand why Baekhyun's so attached to that girl. That's a problem, we need to solve it quickly."

"What Hyungnim?"

"Her eyes,"Yunho said sighing,"They hold the same emotion Baekhyun's eyes held when I first found him."

Taehyung was confused as Yunho recalled the night he first met twelve year old Baekhyun. It was raining so heavily. Yunho took him in his gang that very night, scared about the fact that if he doesn't take care of him, something bad might happen to the kid. Yunho still vividly remembers Baekhyun's eyes from that night. His face was smiley but his eyes..they were completely different. Yunho had met a lot of people in his life and was a master of reading emotions and expressions. But he never saw someone's eyes express these. These eyes haunt Yunho till now.

Immense loneliness.

His eyes were full with loneliness, pain, begging to someone for help desperately.

And now Jian's eyes are exactly like how Baekhyun's were.
