is it like he not even curious about where his daughters and hope are?

the entire interaction between Alaric, Kaleb, and MG makes me want to barf my dinner

from Alaric acting like some Prof. X dude sending kids on a mission

to MG actually calling it a 'first official superhero mission' to him calling themselves a dynamic duo

and Kaleb sarcastically saying to the Batmobile

i really do hope that MG is just hit one day with dozens upon dozens of death and carnage that he looks back at his younger self and thinks of him as a naive child, that's all i want, i want his innocence to just get destroyed already because the superhero shit is so annoying, i get it, he's still a human on the inside, he's only been a vampire for almost two years, it's not quite there yet and he has yet to move on in a century where all those he knew have grown old and died and he will finally mature into his vampire self, but can we speed up the process??

i like that Lizzie's catchphrase is 'Son of a bitch.' it truly fits the essence of her character

Clark as a character works great as a villain, he's got some vendetta against his dad, which actually works as a great anti-hero

that stupid scene with them jumping off the car roof, ugh, you two are undead mosquitos, start acting like it

yes Lizzie, give him a tour, let the human inside and let him get hurt and drink vampire blood

ah, muse powers, ngl, i don't like the whole yellow lines around him, it'd look better if it was just a calm glow instead of neon trace lines

the only good shot of this whole thing was the all of them getting together and facing maliwhore!landon locked up, like that was it

though, i will say that im starting to like Clark, like idk what happened, at first i just didn't like him at all, real Creepy McCreeperson vibes but then throughout this episode he just?? idk? literally snuck his way into my heart??

real talk? clark could've been a great villain, like if he coulda found a way to use hope to destroy his dad and then he sorta stole maliwhore's powers or something or maybe after getting rid of his father, Hope took that away from him like the chance to get those powers and he's angry and he moves to MF and implements himself in the human community and restarts the council BECAUSE SERIOUSLY AT LEAST THE ACTUAL X-MEN HAD AN ONGOING BATTLE FOR EQUALITY AMONGST HUMANS WHEN THEY WEREN'T LITERALLY SAVING HUMANS AND MUTANTS FROM BAD GUYS

i do NOT mean that they should reveal the supernatural to everyone bc trust me that would be super complicated and much too intense for a CW show plus if they do use that as a last season storyline it would be the most cliched thing of all time

what they SHOULD BE DOING is getting the council restarted and the heads of the founding families aware of the school, and some are supporters, some are not, some are legit assholes, and at the end of that storyline YOU DO NOT MAKE PEACE WITH THE ANTAGONIST, you instead compel them and kick their ass out of MF whilst keeping a strong relationship with the more level headed council members

THEN AFTER THAT they can either make up a new storyline for a season and then the season after that they time jump it to five years in the future or they can simply just time jump instead of a season in-between

AND THE BEST PART OF TIME JUMPING is Hope living in New Orleans (or maybe not, maybe she's traveling who knows) but her friends track her down and get her to NO and we see VINCENT AND MARCEL THERE MAYBE FREYA AND KEELIN TOO HOPEFULLY, and so on, we get to explore the characters getting to be themselves in an entire city rather than just a school, we could get more horror shots since they shouldnt be teens anymore, we definitely use the gothic style of New Orleans, we use the community of witches, werewolves, and vampires to sort of drive the main cast apart and separate, like they lose themselves in their species and away from their friends, only for Hope to be a unifying piece in bringing all three factions together

PLUS WE CAN SEE WHAT HAPPENS IF GEMINI TWINS DONT MERGE AFTER THEY PASS 22 YEARS, like that 'merge' with dark!Josie didn't count. Lizzie isn't dead, she isn't merged with her sister, and they both still have their powers, so it didn't count, let's see what happens when they don't merge hm?

i want to let you all know that i will stop watching the show when it comes back in october or november or january or whatever

i'll be rewatching it to fill the rest of this book however and we can go on a journey of what was good and what was bad once more

if they finally get rid of maliwhore, please tell me and then i'll go back, until then, this is as far as i go, sorry guys, good luck to those that are gonna keep going
