"WHERE ARE THEM?! I WANT TO CONGRATULATE THEM! THERE!" sicheng yelled across the crowd of people that were getting out of the stadium in which the talent show was taking place. "CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TWO BEST BOYS EVER!!!"

ten and taeyong were tackled in a hug by an overjoyed sicheng.

the chinese boy kept tightening his embrace while yelling how proud he was in the two best friend's ears.

"thank you sicheng." ten chuckled, hugging back the boy.

"my turn..." someone whined, pulling onto sicheng's coat from behind.

the chinese male pulled out of the hug, allowing ten and taeyong to breathe, and allowing them to see who wanted to congratulate them.

they both cooed at the sight of their hybrid with the biggest smile on his face, his lion ears flattened and his tail wiggling behind him.

"babyyyy!" both males let out at the same time before pulling the hybrid in a warm hug.

"my owners..." yuta mumbled, rubbing his head against the boys' chests while cuddling into them.

"aren't they the cutest?" kun asked, leaning against sicheng's side.

"they are." his owner replied, looking at the trio hugging each other as if they would separate forever just after.

"i'm happy seeing all three of them being this close." kun continued speaking. "i feel like it hadn't happened since long."

sicheng nodded, his eyes never leaving the two humans and their hybrid. "if only they could stay like this forever..."

time went on for the boys, and their lives got back to normal.

yuta being the cute little baby he has always been.

ten going to his dance classes and staying way too long in the changing rooms to talk with sicheng.

taeyong going to his rapping classes and hanging out with jaehyun most of the time.

it seemed like this talent show had never happened.

everything seemed to be the same as before.

well, almost everything.

one thing had drastically changed since the talent show. taeyong, ten and yuta's relationship wasn't the same anymore.

perhaps was it because ten and taeyong weren't mad at each other anymore?

perhaps was it because they weren't stressed anymore?

perhaps was it because they had realised how much they cared for each other?

there were so many possibilities...

"i'm back!" taeyong exclaimed as soon as he entered their shared apartment.

"you're here early." ten noted as yuta threw himself on taeyong in his lion form.

"i wanted to spend some time with my baby and my best friend." taeyong chuckled, catching yuta and combing his mane with his long fingers.

ten smiled at the sight of his two favourite persons cuddling in the middle of the living room.

he loved them so much.

it's crazy how his feelings for taeyong never died down despite the fact that the korean male started hanging out with another boy. he couldn't help but stay attached to his best friend.

and what was even weirder was how his feelings towards yuta evolved.

yuta was his baby, his little hybrid, his treasure.

but how could he explain that he was starting to see him as something else than that?

"ten? is it okay with you?" taeyong asked, waving his hand in front of ten's eyes.

"huh?" the thai male replied confused.

"can i?"

"can you what?" ten furrowed his brows.

he was obviously daydreaming and so, he hadn't heard taeyong's question.

great.

"take yuta with me tomorrow." taeyong clarified.

"what?"

taeyong chuckled at ten's confused face.

had his best friend always been this cute?

"i told you that jaehyun wanted our hybrids to meet tomorrow."

ten looked at taeyong in the eye, trying to find out if the boy was lying or if everything he said was true. sadly, it seemed like he was serious.

"so, you want to take yuta to your... huh..." he stopped mid-sentence. was this a date? he had no idea. "...to your outing with jaehyun?"

"basically, yes."

ten nodded hesitantly.

he couldn't say no anyway.

"wait." ten spoke again. "is yuta okay with it?"

"i don't know..." taeyong told before diverting his eyes towards yuta who had morphed into his human form. "does my baby want to come and meet a new hybrid friend?"

"yes! yes! yes!!!" yuta squealed, bouncing in excitement.

"good" taeyong told, kissing his cheek and making him blush hard. "see? he's alright with it." he told ten with a smirk.

"so, you are leaving me alone tomorrow... what a betrayal." ten pouted, the idea of taeyong and yuta hanging out together with other people not being much appreciated.

first, taeyong and him had to separate and find lovers that weren't each other, and now, taeyong was taking yuta away from him too?

"stop pouting like a baby, ten." taeyong told, squishing ten's cheeks with a hand. "you know very well i can't resist you when you do that."

ten flushed red, his heart racing in his chest at the words his best friend pronounced.

"i'm sorry ten..." yuta lowered his head, saddened at the idea of leaving his owner alone for a day while he would be meeting another hybrid.

"don't worry baby..." ten smiled, caressing the boy's hair. "i'm just being dramatic."

"don't be... i promise i will love you forever. you and taeyong only. no one else." he said with his big shiny eyes that made ten and taeyong go wild.

and ten swears his heart skipped a bit at the idea of his hybrid loving him forever.

but yuta surely didn't mean it that way...
