no way
[Name] paused, their hand raised in a hesitant gesture. "Before we proceed, I think it might be good to check Ponyta's stats," they suggested, their voice heavy with reluctance. Their clenched fists betrayed their inner turmoil as they momentarily looked away from the heart-wrenching scene before them. It felt like turning a blind eye to the suffering Pokémon, and the frustration in their voice was evident.
"Stats?" Amber questioned, her voice tinged with a deep sense of helplessness. She understood the necessity for planning, but the overwhelming desire to rush in and save the Pokémon was gnawing at her. As an Outrider and someone who was gradually growing attached to Pokémon, her instincts urged her to take immediate action.
"Rotomdex."
Once more, the trusty Pokédex made its appearance. "Allow me to explain it! My capabilities encompass the ability to discern gender, special abilities, levels, and the set of moves a Pokémon possesses. Isn't that truly remarkable, bzzt?"
"Levels, move sets, abilities? Paimon's more baffled than ever," Paimon admitted, her head tilting to the side as she rested a finger upon her chin, a picture of confusion.
[Name] nodded, understanding that this information could be crucial in the upcoming rescue mission. They turned to Rotomdex, gesturing for the little Pokedex to proceed.
"Okay, let's break it down," Rotomdex chirped enthusiastically. "Every Pokémon has a level, which basically indicates how experienced and powerful they are. Levels can range from 1 to 100, with 100 being extremely rare and powerful. Think of it as a measure of a Pokémon's strength and maturity. It makes it easier to know what the Pokemon can learn at a certain level, or even just to evolve."
Aether leaned in, his interest piqued. "So, higher-level Pokémon are generally stronger?"
"Exactly!" Rotomdex confirmed. "Higher-level Pokémon tend to have more advanced and powerful moves. Which brings us to move sets. Pokémon have a set of moves or attacks they can use in battles. These moves can vary widely and can be of different types, like Fire, Water, Grass, and so on. Pokémon can learn new moves as they level up or through various other methods like TMs or HMs."
Amber nodded in understanding. "So, moves can be either offensive or defensive, right?"
"Correct!" Rotomdex chimed. "Some moves deal damage to opponents, while others provide protection or have special effects. It's all about strategy and choosing the right moves in battles."
Paimon, still slightly puzzled, sought clarification. "And what about these abilities you mentioned earlier?"
"Ah, abilities!" Rotomdex replied with a twinkle of excitement. "Abilities are unique traits or passive effects that Pokémon have. These abilities can influence battles in various ways, like making certain types of moves more powerful, preventing status conditions, or even changing the weather during a battle."
Amber leaned forward, eager to grasp the nuances. "So, a Pokémon's ability is like its special power?"
"Exactly!" Rotomdex confirmed. "Think of it as a natural advantage that Pokémon have. Sometimes, these abilities can make a big difference in battles or help them overcome challenges."
Aether, Amber, and Paimon exchanged glances, now equipped with a basic understanding of Pokémon levels, move sets, and abilities.
"Alright, I think we've got the hang of it," Aether said, his tone filled with determination. "Now, let's focus on saving those Pokémon from those poachers."
"Of course," [Name] said with a firm nod. They turned to Rotomdex, gesturing for the helpful Pokedex to proceed. They wanted to ensure Ponyta would be prepared for any situation they might encounter.
"Alright, let's dive into Ponyta's stats," Rotomdex announced eagerly. "Ponyta, like every Pokémon, has its own set of levels, moves, and abilities. Level-wise, Ponyta is currently at level 15."
Amber cast a supportive smile in Ponyta's direction. "You're doing absolutely great, Ponyta," she encouraged, her voice gentle and reassuring. In response, Ponyta emitted a sound of gratitude, a silent acknowledgment of Amber's kind words.
"As for Ponyta's moves, she knows Tackle, Ember, Flame Charge, and Growl," Rotomdex explained.
"That's great," Aether said, offering a reassuring pat to Ponyta. "We've got some firepower on our side."
"Absolutely," [Name] agreed, appreciating the readiness of their Pokémon. "And what about abilities?"
Rotomdex continued, "Ponyta's ability is 'Flame Body,' which allows her to burn on impact. Of course, it doesn't work, its by chance."
"That might come in handy," [Name] mused. "Alright, Ponyta, you are definitely strong." It is a different story if Ponyta can't battle due to experience or trauma.
Ponyta let out a confident neigh, acknowledging the instructions.
"And Paimon," [Name] added, turning to the small fairy, "we'll need you to keep an eye on out for anything and stay close. If there's trouble, we'll need to act as a team."
With determination in their hearts, Paimon and the rest of the group nodded in unison. "You can count on me," Paimon reiterated.
"Great," [Name] said, their voice determined, as the group kept their eyes on the wagon now slowly moving ahead.
They trailed behind the culprits, a simmering anger burning within each of them. The urge to confront the poachers was strong, but they knew that a hasty move could put the captured Pokémon at risk. So, they remained hidden, silently following the evildoers as they advanced.
The journey was heavy with tension, as each member of the group battled the desire to intervene immediately. Ponyta's flames flickered with suppressed anger, her memories of captivity and suffering fueling her determination to bring justice to those responsible.
Unbeknownst to the others, Ponyta's escape had been made possible by her mother's assistance.
The group managed to stay hidden from the criminals, reaching their campsite without incident. [Name] clenched their teeth, eyes narrowing as they surveyed the camp. Dozens of cages were scattered about, each one a grim testament to the cruel operation at hand.
As the group observed the camp, the scene before them unfolded like a heart-wrenching movie (only it is reality and it makes it all the worse as it isn't fake), the tension thick in the air. Paimon's tiny fists were clenched, and her eyes narrowed with anger as she watched the cruelty unfold. She floated just above the ground, ready to spring into action, despite her petite stature.
Amber's typically cheerful demeanor had transformed into one of intense focus and resolve. She was accustomed to fighting against threats to Mondstadt, but this was different. These innocent Pokémon were being subjected to horrors she couldn't ignore.
Aether's expression darkened, his eyes narrowing as he kept his emotions in check. He might be the quiet one of the group, but his determination to protect these creatures was unwavering.
[Name], who had seen their fair share of injustices in their own world, felt a surge of righteous anger. This was a moment where the boundary between worlds blurred, and their resolve to change the fate of Pokémon in this world strengthened.
The criminals, oblivious to the audience of unexpected witnesses, continued their malevolent actions. Pokémon of all shapes and sizes were being forcibly separated from their loved ones, their cries of anguish and despair piercing the hearts of our group. The bad guys showed no mercy as they shackled these helpless creatures with oppressive collars, suppressing their abilities and breaking their spirits.
The tense atmosphere grew even darker as one of the criminals, driven by malevolence, tugged on a chain attached to a Rapidash with an intact horn. [Name]'s eyes widened in shock as they realized the direction the person was heading, straight toward a nearby tent. It didn't take much imagination to understand the sinister intentions behind this move.
Ponyta, sensing the danger, let out a distressed whinny, her delicate hooves striking the ground with anxiety. The poor Pokémon knew all too well what might befall her fellow captive.
"Ponyta," Amber whispered, her voice barely louder than a breath, as she reached out to the frightened creature, attempting to provide some measure of comfort. Amber's hand met Ponyta's nose, and she began to rub it gently, trying to soothe the trembling Pokémon. Slowly but surely, the distressing noises began to subside as Ponyta responded to the touch.
"Is that your mom?" Aether inquired softly, aghast at the heart-wrenching situation unfolding before them. His eyes reflected the horror of the moment.
Ponyta nodded, a hint of panic still present in her movements, even as she leaned into Amber's touch for reassurance. The bond between mother and child was undeniable, transcending the boundaries of species. This was a family torn apart by cruelty, and the group couldn't stand idly by any longer.
Amber's voice wavered with concern as she questioned, "What should we do, though? We can't just rush in without a plan. We might end up endangering the Pokémon further."
[Name]'s eyes scanned the cages, filled with contemplation, until a spark of an idea illuminated their thoughts. Their gaze locked onto the locks securing the cages and collars of the captured Pokémon. "How about creating a distraction? We can search for the keys to unlock the cages and collars while the criminals are preoccupied."
Aether considered the plan, letting the notion percolate in his mind. "That's a solid idea, but our distraction needs to be substantial enough to divert the attention of all the criminals." His expression turned serious as he mulled over the options.
A light bulb of inspiration suddenly illuminated over Amber's head. "I've got an idea," she announced, her voice carrying a spark of determination.
The group leaned in, their eyes filled with anticipation, eager to hear Amber's unconventional plan. [Name] couldn't help but chuckle and remarked, "That's so crazy it just might work."
Paimon, however, wore a concerned expression as she kicked her leg nervously. "Paimon thinks it sounds risky, though."
Aether pointed out the urgency of the situation. "We don't have many options or much time. But don't worry, Paimon, you can stay with the rescue team," he reassured her.
Paimon nodded in agreement, her apprehension slowly giving way to the realization that this was their best course of action.
On the rescue team, [Name] and Paimon took cover behind a wooden crate, their fingers pressed to their lips to maintain silence. Paimon nodded in understanding, her cheeks puffing up slightly as she complied. Meanwhile, Aether and Amber, with Ponyta in tow, formed the distraction team.
As time dragged on (even though it was just a few minutes, and god they hope they save Ponyta's mom in time. Now they assume the Rapidashs they have seen is her herd. It makes them sick), Paimon grew increasingly anxious. She leaned towards [Name] and whispered, "How long is this going to take? Amber and Aether are taking too long. Do you think they got caught?" Worry creased her tiny features as she glanced around nervously.
[Name] shook their head reassuringly. "Keep quiet, Paimon," they whispered back urgently as a guard passed by their hiding spot.
Paimon urgently shook [Name]'s shoulder, diverting their attention. She pointed skyward, and they followed her gaze to spot a fiery arrow streaking through the heavens. It was the prearranged signal. [Name] nodded, quickly shifting their body sideways, pressing against the wooden crate.
Together, they navigated through the cluttered cargo, edging closer to the tent that had been identified as the main base of the criminals who had been trafficking Pokémon. The atmosphere was tense as they observed the activities around them.
Suddenly, a watchman yelled, clutching a telescope in his hand as he peered through the lenses. "A Ruin Guard!"
Another person, clearly alarmed, shouted back to the watchman, "Coming here!?"
"Yes! ETA 2 minutes!"
As the tension in the camp escalated, a person emerged from the main tent, instantly recognizable as the leader due to the badge adorning their attire. Their voice carried authority and urgency, "Gather all men! We need to protect the merchandise at all costs. We cannot afford to fail our backer! She wants these Pokémon as soon as possible!"
[Name] absorbed this critical piece of information, committing it to memory. Beside them, Paimon watched as the criminals swiftly organized themselves, arming with weapons. There was no sign of any Vision users among them, which, [Name] noted, might give them an advantage in dealing with the group.
The criminals rushed off towards the looming threat of the Ruin Guard.
"Look!" Paimon pointed to the unattended tent, her eyes wide with excitement. [Name] nodded, and together, they made a swift dash toward the tent. Paimon, being the smallest among them was faster, held up the flap of the tent, inviting [Name] to enter.
Desperation and chaos filled the air as the group of criminals rushed to confront the Ruin Guard, their shouts echoing through the camp. Amidst this commotion, [Name] and Paimon had to act quickly.
"Look for a pair of keys, Paimon!" [Name] shouted over the increasing clamor. Paimon fluttered around, her cape fluttering crazily as she scoured the area for any sign of keys. Meanwhile, [Name] focused on another task. They began pocketing any papers they could find into their inventory, silently gathering intel about the operation. The identity of the backer and their intentions with the captured Pokémon remained a mystery, but [Name] was determined to uncover the truth.
Their search led them to a desk, and with a forceful yank, they flung open one of the drawers. Among a stack of papers, a glint of metal caught their eye—a steel ring laden with keys.
"I found it!" [Name] exclaimed in triumph, holding the keys aloft with a sense of relief and accomplishment.
"Good! We should hurry!" Paimon shouted in urgency. "Ruin guards are scary and strong!"
[Name] nodded, though they couldn't help but wonder what a ruin guard was. That would have to wait. The pair rushed out of the tent and reached the first cage, which was conveniently located nearby. Inside, a pair of Nidoran and a Nidorina were trapped, frantically banging against the cage bars in fear and desperation. All the Pokémon in the vicinity were reacting similarly, sensing the danger that hung in the air.
"Shhh," [Name] whispered soothingly, trying to calm the frightened Pokémon. The Nidoran turned their wary eyes towards [Name], their sharp senses on high alert.
"Nido?" one of them uttered cautiously, still unsure of [Name]'s intentions.
[Ding!]
[It seems Arceus has bestowed upon you a special blessing. Now, anything you say to Pokémon will be understood by them. Pokémon are intelligent creatures, prosecution from the humans of Teyvat Pokemon do not linger around humans. They are not familiar with the human language yet.]
"Thank Arceus," [Name] whispered in relief, their heart lightening with the newfound ability. They turned their attention back to the small pair of Nidoran. "I'm going to open this gate and remove your collar. After that, I need both of you to run as far away as possible. Do you understand?"
The Nidoran and Nidorina exchanged glances, communicating with each other through chitters and nods. Finally, they turned back to the trainer and gave a resolute nod, signifying their understanding.
"Great. Thank you for trusting me," [Name] reassured the Nidoran and Nidorina. They inserted the key into the lock, twisting it with anticipation. The first few tries proved futile as the wrong keys were attempted. It was only on the fourth attempt that the key finally fit and turned, causing the gate to creak open.
Expecting the two Pokémon to lash out in panic or aggression, [Name] tensed, ready to defend themselves. To their surprise, the Nidoran and Nidorina simply bowed their heads in gratitude. With trembling hands, [Name] extended their arms, signaling for the Pokémon to come closer and have their collars removed. The Nidoran, the apparent leader of the pair, was the first to step forward.
After a couple of attempts, [Name] found the correct key for the collar, making a mental note of which key matched each lock. As the collar fell away, the Nidoran let out a joyful squeal and shook its head in relief. It turned to its companion and gestured for her to have her collar removed as well. [Name] carefully released her collar, and the two Pokémon expressed their heartfelt thanks before bolting away from the site of danger.
With Paimon by their side, [Name] began the process of freeing the other Pokémon from their cages, explaining the impending rescue to each one as they went.
A sudden and deafening boom echoed through the area, causing [Name] to jerk their head up. Their gaze darted to the distance, where a terrifying sight unfolded before them—a rain of fiery arrows descending from the sky. Panic and confusion welled up within [Name] as they struggled to comprehend what was happening. "What the heck is going on?" they muttered to themselves, their eyes scanning the chaotic scene.
Their heart pounded in their chest as they finally unlocked the last cage, a sense of urgency overwhelming them. They had an ominous feeling that things were about to get much worse. Lowering their gaze to the ground, they noticed the earth trembling beneath them, pebbles dancing erratically in response to the seismic activity.
Concern etched across their face, [Name] turned to Paimon. "Paimon," they called out urgently, catching the tiny fairy's attention. Her eyes widened as she followed [Name]'s gaze, spotting the colossal form of a ruin guard steadily approaching their campsite.
With urgency burning in their eyes, [Name] raised their voice to rally the group. "We need to move faster, everyone!" They swiftly released Togepi from her Pokeball, the tiny Fairy-type Pokemon blinking up at [Name] inquisitively.
"Toge?" Togepi tilted her head, her round eyes filled with curiosity, waiting for her trainer's command.
"Togepi, would you mind using Life Dew for us?" [Name] asked, desperation edging into their tone.
Togepi responded with an eager squeal, nodding in understanding. A single droplet formed at the tip of Togepi's tiny horn, then it gracefully descended to the ground below. As the droplet touched the earth, it sent out ripples that spread around Togepi in a gentle, shimmering wave. The healing energy in the ripples washed over the injured Pokémon nearby, their wounds visibly mending as the restorative magic took effect.
[Name] watched with a mixture of relief and hope as Togepi's Life Dew worked its magic. Fresh injuries began to close, and the pained expressions on the Pokémon's faces softened. It was a crucial boost to their group's stamina and morale, and [Name] hoped it would be enough to propel them into action once more.
"Run!" Paimon's voice rang out in a frantic cry, her tiny arm waving urgently for the Pokémon to flee. "It's a ruin guard!"
[Name] glanced up from helping a tripped Gogoat, their heart pounding as they heard the thunderous clanging of heavy footsteps drawing nearer.
Aether, valiantly parrying a sword that came whistling toward him from one of the treasure hoarders, turned his head in alarm, his eyes scanning the scene.
Behind a crumbling pillar, a colossal ruin guard emerged, its mechanical form towering ominously. The massive automaton advanced relentlessly, its steps shaking the ground as it closed in on two of the panicked bad guys. The humans screamed in sheer terror, their voices echoing through the chaos as they desperately called for help.
[Name] couldn't help but feel a sense of grim satisfaction wash over them at the sight. After all, why should mercy be extended to those who had shown none to innocent Pokémon?
"Amber!" Aether's voice rang out urgently, still locked in combat with the treasure hoarder. His eyes darted to the corner of his vision, where Paimon and [Name] were working diligently to help the Pokémon escape. "It's getting close to the camp!" he called out, a note of urgency in his voice.
"I can see that!" Amber's voice rang out with determination as she drew her bowstring and released another fiery arrow toward the ruined guard. The mechanical behemoth had already knocked out several of the criminals, and it seemed to be locked in a fierce struggle with the remaining ones.
[Name] watched the intense battle between the treasure hoarders and the colossal machine, a sense of urgency surging within them. They turned to Paimon, their expression filled with determination.
"Keep helping the Pokémon get out of here," [Name] instructed urgently. With a nod from the tiny fairy, [Name] crouched down and opened their arms. Togepi, understanding the command, leaped into their embrace. Without hesitation, [Name] sprinted toward the unfolding chaos, determined to assist Amber and Aether in their struggle.
"Ready, Togepi!?" [Name] shouted as they formulated a quick plan. Their priority was to incapacitate the criminals before dealing with the ruin guard.
"Toge!" The tiny Pokémon squeaked in agreement.
"Here we go!" [Name] gently placed the fairy Pokémon on the ground. "Use Ancient Power! Watch out, Aether!"
With a determined squeal, Togepi slammed her tiny arms onto the ground. The earth quaked as a blue aura enveloped the larger chunks of rocks, lifting them into the air and sending them hurtling toward the criminals. Thanks to the warning, Aether managed to skillfully evade the incoming barrage. The exhausted criminals, already worn down by Aether's previous attacks, were knocked out by the unexpected onslaught of flying stones.
Now, it was up to Ponyta, Aether, Amber, and [Name], with Togepi in tow, to bring down the menacing ruin guard.
"Ready, guys!?" [Name] shouted, their voice filled with determination.
"Yeah!" Aether responded, rushing over to join Amber.
"Been ready!" Amber cried out as she skillfully dodged a powerful fist that came swinging toward her. Seizing the opportunity, the fire Pokémon unleashed an ember attack at the towering ruin guard. "Ponyta!" Amber called out in fright. She didn't want her friend to get hurt, but held back as she knew that Pokemon can also protect themselves.
The fire Pokémon used Growl on the ruin guard, and a faint light blue aura surrounded the towering machine.
"Huh?" Aether questioned, drawing his sword.
"It's lowering the ruin guard's attack power!" [Name] explained urgently as they carried Togepi, quickly making their way to join the others. "We need to take it out now!"
"Combo attack?" Amber inquired as she fired another arrow. "I have enough energy to pull off my ultimate move."
"Same here," Aether nodded.
"Great," [Name] responded. "Come out, Raboot!"
The Fire-type Pokémon emerged from its Pokéball, already aware of the situation and ready to join the fray.
"Let's do this!" Amber cried out as she summoned her Baron Bunny, a diversion that instantly caught the ruin guard's attention. It stomped relentlessly toward the decoy. "You can't run away from me!" Amber shouted as she fired an arrow into the sky, which split into multiple arrows, all targeting the machine.
"Togepi, use Ancient Power! Raboot, Ember!" [Name] commanded, throwing their arm out in a coordinated attack. Togepi and Raboot responded with their respective moves, while Aether conjured a fierce wind tornado that combined with Amber's fiery arrows and Ponyta's Ember attack. The collective assault created a devastating onslaught against the ruin guard.
As the group launched their coordinated attack against the ruin guard, it quickly became apparent that their efforts, while impressive, weren't causing substantial damage to the hulking machine. The ruin guard continued to advance, seemingly impervious to their combined strikes.
The group's tense expressions shifted to ones of hope and determination as Paimon's voice rang out, proudly declaring her return with reinforcements.
Turning their attention to Paimon, they watched in amazement as a multitude of Pokemon they had liberated from the treacherous campsite emerged from the forest behind her. It was a breathtaking sight. Nidoran, Nidorina, Gogoat, Tyrouge, and many others, who had once been trapped and suffering, were now standing tall and united. Their eyes sparkled with resolve, their spirits unbroken.
Ponyta, in particular, couldn't contain her joy as she recognized her own kind among the returning Pokemon. With an ecstatic cry, she bounded forward to meet them. A majestic Rapidash, its fiery mane billowing, stepped forward and nuzzled Ponyta affectionately. It was a heartwarming reunion for the Fire Horse Pokemon, a moment of pure connection and understanding.
As the liberated Pokemon approached, the group could see their determination to help. Nidoran and Nidorina readied their poisonous stings, Gogoat's mighty form indicated it was prepared for a powerful charge, and Tyrouge exuded an aura of readiness, ready to strike.
The group, now bolstered by this unexpected alliance, felt a surge of newfound strength. Together with their Pokemon comrades, they were ready to face the challenge before them with unwavering unity and resolve.
The saved Pokemon charged forward, their expressions determined and united. The Nidoran and Nidorina unleashed a flurry of Poison Sting attacks, aiming for the ruin guard's joints and sensitive spots. Gogoat, with incredible strength, used Grass Knot, attempting to bringing it down to its knees it. Tyrouge darted in and out, dealing quick Mach Punches to its mechanical body. Ponyta's herd used Flamthrower with Ponyta using her Ember.
The combination of the group's relentless assault and the newfound assistance from the Pokemon they had saved started to take a toll on the ruin guard. Sparks flew as some of its mechanisms malfunctioned, and it became more sluggish in its movements.
"Lets go, everyone!"
Aether, Amber, [Name], and their Pokemon renewed their efforts, launching another barrage of attacks. Amber's Baron Bunny exploded in a dazzling display of pyrotechnics, causing the ruin guard to stagger. Aether's wind blade intensified, creating a swirling vortex that disoriented the machine further. [Name]'s Raboot and Togepi, now emboldened by the presence of their fellow Pokemon, combined their powers with even more determination.
With a collective surge of strength, the group and their Pokemon finally succeeded in landing critical blows on the ruin guard. It let out an ear-piercing screech as its systems malfunctioned and, with a final burst of sparks, collapsed to the ground, defeated.
Breathing heavily, the group found themselves in the midst of the destruction, surrounded by the aftermath of their victorious battle. The once imposing ruin guard had been reduced to nothing more than a pile of elemental essence, its formidable presence now vanquished.
Exhausted but triumphant, the group exchanged relieved glances. The collective effort had paid off, and they had not only defeated the group of criminals but also faced down a formidable ruin guard together.
Amidst the cacophony of triumphant Pokemon cries for freedom, [Name] straightened up, their hands resting on their knees as they panted for breath. "I think we all need a vacation," they confessed, a tired but satisfied grin forming on their face.
Aether, sharing the sentiment, found a spot on the ground and took a seat, his weariness evident. The Pokemon continued to roar and cheer in celebration, their voices echoing through the clearing as they rejoiced in their newfound liberty. "Agree."
[Name] enthusiastically praised Togepi and Raboot for their tremendous efforts in the battle. They reached into their inventory and pulled out poffins, passing one to each of their loyal Pokemon partners. The two Pokemon squeaked in delight, their faces lighting up with gratitude as they eagerly devoured the treats. The joyous scene didn't stop there, as [Name] began distributing snacks and berries to the other Pokemon, ensuring they received the care they needed after the ordeal.
Amber stood to the side, her eyes fixed on the heartwarming spectacle unfolding before her. She couldn't help but be in awe of the unexpected turn of events. When Jean had assigned her this mission, she never anticipated that it would lead to a pitched battle against criminals and a menacing ruin guard. If she had ventured to the camp alone, she might have been compelled to retreat, leaving the imprisoned Pokemon to suffer further. Even if she managed to return with backup, it was possible the criminals would have made their escape by then. She couldn't be more grateful for the timely assistance of [Name], Aether, and Paimon in this rescue operation.
Amber's thoughts were interrupted as she felt a gentle nudge on her hand. Looking down, she met the warm, trusting eyes of Ponyta. A small, fond smile crept onto her face as she placed a hand on the fire Pokemon's head, not minding the fiery mane in the least. It didn't burn her and she remembers from what Rotomdex told her that means that Ponyta trusts the Outrider and it made her heart soar. "Thank you for everything, Ponyta," she whispered softly. The horse Pokemon responded with a graceful neigh, an unspoken understanding passing between them.
Amber's gaze shifted to the group of Rapidash and Ponytas waiting nearby, clearly a part of Ponyta's herd. "I see you have to go." She knew the time had come for them to part ways, and a hint of sadness tugged at her heart. Ponyta, however, seemed to sense the bittersweet moment and turned to look at Amber. Their eyes locked, and Amber felt a tear roll down her cheek, but she couldn't help but smile through it. She had formed a deep bond with the fiery Pokemon, but the Pokemon has a family of her own. Who knows, she might be seeing them around when she does portals now.
Ponyta, after sharing a meaningful gaze with her own mother, nodded in agreement. It was a silent acknowledgment that the fire-type Pokemon had also grown fond of Amber, and it was time for Ponyta to embark on this new journey alongside the human she had come to trust and care for.
Seeing the scene before them, [Name] knew what to do.
[Name] approached Amber, a Pokeball in hand, and a knowing smile on their face. They held out the Pokeball, offering it to Amber. "Here," they said, "Ponyta wants to be with you, Amber. It's clear she's grown attached to you during this journey, and I think she wants to go with you. From the looks of it, her mom agrees."
Amber looked at the Pokeball, then back at [Name], her expression a mix of surprise and gratitude. She hadn't anticipated this, but the bond she had formed with Ponyta was undeniable. "Are you sure about this, Ponyta?" Amber asked, her voice gentle as she looked at the fire-type Pokemon.
Ponyta nodded in response, her fiery mane swaying with the motion, a clear sign of her willingness to join Amber's team. "Pony!"
Amber smiled warmly, her eyes shimmering with emotion. "Alright then," she said as she took the offered Pokeball from [Name], her heart full of appreciation for both the Pokemon and her friend. With a press of the button, Ponyta was enveloped in a red beam of light and drawn into the Pokeball.
The device wiggled for a moment before letting out a satisfying ding, indicating a successful capture. Amber cradled the Pokeball in her hand, whispering, "thank you, Ponyta."
