Ericha answered the knock at her door and was surprised to see Jenika standing there. "Uhh, I thought Adam was going to come after Tim?"

"Change of plans." Jenika said quietly "I wanted a chance to talk to Tim alone."

"How was your talk with Adam?" Ericha asked since she couldn't tell by looking at Jenika.

"Most of it was fine." Jenika paused as she held back tears.

Ericha looked Jenika straight in the face "Did he hurt you? Because I will kill him."

Jenika managed a giggle "No, Adam was perfect. More than I could have hoped for."

"Then why are you about to cry?" Ericha was confused.

"We told TJ about the baby and that Adam was the baby's daddy. He asked if Adam was his daddy too. My heart broke at those words. Then he asked Adam if he could be his stand in dad. Ericha, it was so cute." Jenika took a breath "And I'm so emotional with these damn hormones."

"What did Adam have to say to that?" Ericha was genuinely curious.

"He said he would absolutely be his stand in dad but that he's never been a dad before so TJ will have to help him figure it out. Then TJ, being 4 going on 40, said that he's never had a dad before so they will have to learn together" Jenika giggled.

Ericha was laughing and shaking her head "That kid"

Tim had entered the room unseen and heard most of the conversation. He approached Jenika and gave her a hug. "He's an amazing guy isn't he?" he whispered in her ear. Jenika nodded and pulled out of the hug. As she stepped back she noticed the bite on Tim's neck.

"Uhh, Tim? You seem to have a new injury since I last saw you." Jenika raised an eyebrow at him. "Do I need to be concerned about your relationship?" Jenika managed to say before giggling.

"I'm just fine thank you." He winked at her "It felt much better than it looks" Jenika's eyes got wide and she smacked Tim on the arm.

"Okay, I don't need to hear anymore. You two go talk and then find your man." Ericha said as she pushed them out the door.

Jenika knew the short drive home wasn't going to be long enough for their talk so she drove to a secluded park she knew would be empty this time of day.

"Where are we going? Tim asked, a little concerned "Are you going to kill me and hide my body in the woods so you can have Adam to yourself?"

Jenika glared at him "You know, I hadn't thought of that but that's not a bad idea." She tried to look serious but broke into giggles when Tim smiled at her. "We need time to talk and the drive to my place is too short so I brought us here."

They found a shady bench and sat down facing each other. Tim was the first to speak "This might not be any of my business but TJ really has never met his dad?"

"No, like I had to confess weeks ago, he was my gift from a one night stand and I wasn't sure how to find the guy again so I just raised him on my own." Jenika said as she stared at her own lap. "I've run into him again since then but it never seemed like the right time or place to drop that kind of information. I did, however, promise myself to tell both TJ and the father if he ever started asking questions."

"So you have to find this guy again and somehow tell him he has a 4yr old son that he never knew about? That is going to be difficult." Tim said as he crooked his finger under her chin and lifted her face to look at him. "Adam and I are here for you if need help okay?"

Jenika scooted forward on the bench and gave Tim a quick hug. "Thank you, I'm going to need your support." Jenika took a deep breath "Tim do you want to know what TJ's full name is?"

"Sure, I don't know why I didn't think to ask before." Tim said as he nodded.

Jenika was visibly shaking as she said "Timothy Regan James Marion"

Tim opened his mouth to speak but shut it again as his brain began to really process what she had just said. Tim's face drained of color and his heart felt like it was going to beat out of his chest. He was trying to slow his breathing "Jenika?"

"This is not how I envisioned this moment but you asked about him and I couldn't not tell you after that." She said quickly and then continued "I was traveling for a conference. We met at a bar and ended up back in my room. I had never had a one night stand but you were irresistible. We went our separate ways the next morning. I found out about TJ a few weeks later and had no idea how to find you. I decided to raise him on my own. He was almost 8 months old when I saw you on The Sing Off. I knew how to find you then but I didn't want you to think that I was just coming after you then because you were famous. Then this whole road trip happened and you didn't seem to like me very much and....." Jenika trailed off

"He's really mine?" Tim said so quietly she could barely hear him.

"Yes, he is. I completely understand if you want a paternity test done but can I show you a picture I took a few weeks ago?" Jenika asked as she pulled out her phone. She showed Tim the picture of him and TJ sitting next to each other reading.

"Oh my God" Tim gasped. "It's like I'm looking at an old picture of me. How did I not see it before?" Tim paused. "Does Adam know?"

"NO! Nobody knows, not even Ericha. You needed to know before anyone else. I have no idea how to tell anybody else, especially since I'm pregnant again by another Home Free member." Jenika paused and then giggled as she said "I guess I'm the ultimate groupie."

That got a smile from Tim. "Oh my God, you slept with Chance, Austin and Rob too?"

Jenika smacked Tim hard on the arm "Don't be an ass Timothy." She said before leaning closer and whispering "I only sleep with the hottest guys in the group."

That got another smile from Tim before he got a serious look on his face again. Jenika grew concerned at the look on Tim's face "What is that look for?" she asked.

"Two things" Tim said. "How do we tell TJ? And I feel like a total ass for not remembering you or that night."

"Tim, that was five years ago. I had shorter, darker hair and a few more pounds on me. And I'm sure that women throw themselves at you all the time. I don't expect you to remember me." Jenika sighed. "And I have no idea how to tell TJ either."

"That's the problem, Jenika. Women do throw themselves at me all the time but I never sleep with them. I've tried relationships here and there but never a one a night stand. There must have been something about you that got to me that night." Tim said while wracking his brain for any memory of her.

"We had spent much of the evening talking and flirting. We had both had a few drinks and ended up back in my room. One thing lead to another..." Jenika said smiling as she remembered everything.

Tim frowned again "Did I...?

Jenika knew exactly what he was thinking and interrupted him, "I said a few drinks. Neither of us were drunk. It was completely consensual; you were a total gentleman."

Tim let out a big sigh, "Oh thank God. You had me worried for a second. Do you have a picture of you from back then that might jog my memory."

"I'm sure I do somewhere." Jenika replied "If I find one I'll show it to you. Now, to the real reason we stopped here to talk. I don't have too much to say but here goes. Thank you. You are the most unselfish man I know. You could have made Adam choose between us but you didn't. I'm going to try to my hardest to make this work and I want to you know that I truly love Adam and I don't ever want to see him hurt."

"I'm glad to hear that. Because he has my whole my heart and it would kill me to lose him or see him hurting. That is why I made this decision. He was hurting without you and it hurt me to see that." Tim said with a sadness in his eyes then added "We all need to sit down soon and discuss some ground rules and basic courtesies."

Jenika nodded "That sounds like a good idea. And we need to figure out how and when to tell TJ, Adam, and everyone else about his paternity."

"Can I have some time? I just want to think about everything and get some stuff straight in my head before we have that conversation." Tim asked hopefully.

"Absolutely. I'm not going to rush you. You let me know when you're ready and we'll figure it all out together." Jenika said as she lay a hand on Tim's arm. "You ready to head back and see Adam and TJ?"

Tim stood as he said "Let's go."
