As the days and weeks passed by Tim and Adam grew closer. They stopped trying to hide their affectionate moments from the other guys. They would cuddle together on the bus, hold hands as they walked together and had even had a full on makeout session during sound check one night.

Tim had never been happier. Adam was generally happy but still had moments when something would remind him of Jenika or TJ and he would become even more quiet or withdrawn than normal. Tim would usually give him a little space, then eventually find him and bring him back. He wished that Jenika would at least text Adam back sometime. Maybe knowing she was okay would give him some closure. Why wouldn't she answer him. Tim thought for a moment and had an idea.

Tim pulled out his phone and texted Jenika.

-------At Jenikas house------

Jenika dropped her phone as her smile faded and sadness overtook her again. Ericha was worried about her friend, she hadn't seen her this emotionally fragile since right after her parents had died.

"Are you ever going to tell me what happened?" Ericha asked Jenika, "You know I'm a good listener."

"I know you are. I just....." Jenika paused. "If I tell someone then my secret is out."

"Jenika, I'm not going to force you to talk but you can't hide from me. We've been best friends forever. I can see that you are hurting. Something big happened. You didn't just decide to cut your trip short. When you're ready, I'm here" Ericha finished and pulled Jenika into a hug.

"I guess now is as good time as ever." Jenika sniffled. She gave Ericha a quick recap of their trip leading up to her last night with Adam. Then continued "When he answered his door he only had on towel. There was some harmless flirtation. He acted like he was going to kiss me then walked away to get dressed." Jenika paused to think about how she wanted to continue.

"What?" Ericha shouted, "You saw him in nothing but a towel and you're just telling me this now? That isn't why you left is it? Because of him walking away from you."

"No, there is more. We had a serious conversation that evening after the towel incident and we both revealed some secrets." Jenika continued, "By the time I left his room: I was embarassed, Adam felt bad, and Tim was jealous. It wasn't a good night."

"What happened to cause all that?" Ericha asked quietly.

"If I tell you, you have to promise to keep it to yourself" Jenika said. Ericha nodded her head and Jenika continued, "I was embarrassed because Adam found out I hadn't had sex in 5yrs. Adam felt bad because he had gotten me all worked up and left me hanging. Tim was jealous because he walked into the room when I was sitting on Adams lap giving him a hug. Tim and Adam are both bi and in love with each other even though they wouldn't admit it."

Ericha just sat there with a shocked look on her face until she could finally put some words together, "Okay, I get that it wasn't a good evening but why did that make you feel you had to leave?"

"There is more but you keep interjecting.... Later that night Adam and I had sex. He suggested 'friends with benefits' and I couldn't say no. Tim apparently heard us the next morning and figured it all out. He was beyond mad. I left so those two could figure out how they feel about each other without me as a distraction." Jenika said quickly so she could get it all out.

"Holy Shit Jenika. There is so much I need to clarify here: You had sex with Adam? And it sounds like more than once that night. Tim heard it all and figured out what happened? He's pissed because he loves Adam? You left so they could have a relationship? Did I miss anything?" Ericha asked

"No, that sounds about right" Jenika sighed. "I miss him Ericha but I need to let him be with Tim."

"Has he tried to contact you?" Ericha wanted to know.

"About a million times. I haven't responded." Jenika said "I want him to forget me and move on with his true love."

Ericha thought for a moment and then added "Maybe he needs closure with you before he can move on with Tim."

"I hadn't thought about that but after the text I just got maybe I do need to talk to him." Jenika replied. "This is the first time I've heard from Tim. He's asking me to text Adam to at least let him know that I'm okay."

"That doesn't sound good. I wonder if Adam has been okay or is out of his mind worried about you." Ericha said quietly as she took Jenikas hand in hers. "Are you going to get ahold of him?"

"I don't know!" Jenika said as more tears fell from her eyes. Ericha held her friend and just let her cry.

Jenika had fallen asleep from her crying so Ericha gently layed her down on the couch and 'borrowed' her phone. Once she got what she needed she put the phone back and slipped out the door.

Ericha- Hi, this is Ericha, Jenikas best friend. I'm sorry for stealing your number from her phone but I need your help and I think you need mine.

Tim- Hi, I've heard so much about you. What help do we need?

Ericha- Jenika is a mess. And I'm guessing from the numerous texts she gotten from Adam that he could be better as well.

Tim- He has his moments. Do you know why she won't answer him?

Ericha- I literally just found out everything that happened an hour ago, so I'm not certain but I think she wanted a clean break so Adam would forget her.

Tim- Well, that isn't working. I love Adam and I know he loves me but he isn't happy right now. I want to see him happy.

Ericha- I think we need to force them to talk. If that means I have to trick her into meeting him somewhere I'll do it. Thoughts/ideas?

Tim- I think that may be what it takes. Can I ask you a serious question?

Ericha- Uhhh, sure.

Tim- Do you think somebody can be in love with two people at the same time? Follow-up: and if so how can they make that work.

Ericha- Wow! I definitely think you can be in love with two people. How that works depends on the people involved. You think Adam is in love with Jenika too?

Tim- I'm not certain but I think so. I know he loves me but I think he's realized that he was also falling in love with her. Friends for a month and one night of sex doesn't lead you to emotional collapse on a fairly regular basis. There has to be something more there.

Ericha- I was thinking the same thing. So back to your follow-up question. How this works is mostly going to depend on you. Can you handle being in love with someone who is also in love with someone else?

Tim- I'll have to figure it out. I can't lose Adam. I think that would break me and I want so much for him to be happy. I make him happy some of the time but, I think together, Jenika and I can make him happy all of the time.

Ericha- So how do we get them to even talk? Let alone admit their feelings.

Tim- Well, I know making me insanely jealous worked for me. I don't think that will work for her though. We could always lock them in a room together and not let them out until the talk.

Ericha- I like that plan. Let's get this moving. I need to get her to wherever you are. Can you figure out the logistics of getting them together while I figure out getting her there?

Tim- I'm on it. Let me know when you get her to a concert and I'll figure it out from there.

Tim was so happy Ericha had contacted him. Now he just had to hope that she could get Jenika to them. He could do the rest, being sneaky was his specialty.
