AN: Thanks WhyJustNow for the fanart

The Hoover Dam was pretty uneventful. The only person who thought it was pretty awesome was Peder. The rest were pretty bored it was a big wall that holds up water. Peder acted like it was the dam of his own castle.

"Guys look how high we are up. This is awesome!" Peder said looking down at the water.

"Hey how much change do you think is down at the bottom of this thing?" Flynn asked.

"I don't think people are allowed to do that." Flynn said.

Rosie was taking pictures on her phone, the others didn't notice as they were still staring down into the water.

"I'm sorry Peder but this is really boring now can we please go to a casino we can get an ID for you along the way and we can take turns watching Rosie," Hallie said,

"I don't need anyone watching me," Rosalie insisted.

"Rose we're in a strange place that is known for nightclubs someone needs to be watching you," Flynn said.

"Fine I'll do it. I don't want to play casino games anyway. We can go to one of those hotels that have casinos and me and Rosie will walk around."

"You don't mind?" Hallie asked.

"No I don't mind, I'd rather do that then be in a loud casino all day." Peder said.

"Thank you so much," Flynn said. "Let's go!"

They ended the tour of the Dam and went to the car. Flynn and Hallie took their places in the front while Peder and Rosalie sat in the back. Hallie and Flynn were busy arguing over the choice of music when Rosalie spoke to Peder.

"I don't need you to watch me" whispered Rosalie.

"I know." He replied back.

"Then why are you volunteering to be my bodyguard?"

"I volunteered to hang out with you because I don't want to go in some smelly casino and I'd much rather hang out with you because you can be pretty fun...sometimes other times you whine a lot." He said.

She smacked his arm playfully,

"Ow see you'd be more the bodyguard type." He replied.

Rosie smiled "Thank you Peder."

"No problem." He said.

Meanwhile.....

The parents were on the road again and headed towards Nevada. If it weren't for the kids running off it would've been almost like old times. Jack and Merida were bickering about directions.

"Jack if we take this route we'll get there a lot faster." Merida said pointed out the google maps.

"I am not listening to that thing. 18 years of that google maps and they still haven't made improvements. If I follow that we could end up in the middle of nowhere." Jack said.

" We are in the middle of nowhere! Look around you we're in a desert Jack. Plus Google maps is only bad when you're walking it's fine if you're driving." She replied.

"Jack listen to Merida we don't know this place very well and we didn't have time to grab a map." Rapunzel said.

"Ugh fine someone besides Merida tell me the directions." Jack said.

Merida handed the phone over to Hiccup.

"Okay in 12 miles you'll keep left to merge onto I-15 North and head towards I-40 E and keep driving for 126 miles."

The whole car groaned again.

"I'm getting too old for this." Merida yawned.

Jack thought of retorting an insult but instead he just said "Too easy."

Which earned him a flick on the back of the head.

"Really I'm driving here." Jack said.

"Sorry it's a reflex every time I hear you say something my hand jut has a muscle spasm and flicks you."

Jack pulled the car over and took off his seatbelt and lurched over to the backseat and kept flicking Merida.
"Hiccup make him stop," Merida said trying to block Jack.
"Hey you may be my wife but you started it and I'm not getting between it." Hiccup said

Finally Rapunzel pulled Jack back.

Merida laughed "what are you five?"

"Actually I just turned six!"

"Okay that comeback still makes no sense." Merida said. "And thanks for protecting me Hiccup you deserve the Medal of Honor."

"Hey you started it. If you don't want Jack to flick you don't flick him. Now come on Jack get back on the road."

"Control your wife." Jack joked.

Hiccup flicked him in the back of the head.
"Ow."
"Sorry I guess Merida and I have the same muscle spasm." Hiccup replied.
