Rosalie looked at the photos she had taken on her phone while they headed back to the hotel. She loved San Francisco, she wished that they could've seen Aunt Emma, but Flynn said that was too risky.

Her phone went dark as she tried to swipe to the next picture. 'Dang it.out of battery' she thought.

She put her phone back in her pocket and began to feel tired from the day.

"Flynn I'm tired." She yawned.

"We're almost to the hotel Rose." Flynn replied.

"Okay." She replied continuing to walk.

Meanwhile.......

"It says they are still at the ferry building." Rapunzel said holding her phone.

The parents had finally arrived at the ferry building. They had looked all over the place but their kids were nowhere in sight.

"Refresh your phone Rapunzel." Jack said.

Rapunzel did and now Rosie's phone was nowhere to be found.

"It's gone! Her phone must have died." Rapunzel said.

"Great now we're stuck in San Francisco." Merida said.

"Well we could just stay in a hotel until Rosie's phone gets turned on." Hiccup replied.

"And what if it doesn't what if her phone was taken or dropped in the bay or something!" Rapunzel panicked.

Jack went over to his wife and placed his hands on her shoulders. "Rapunzel you have to calm down. Flynn is with her. He won't let anything happen to her."

Rapunzel breathed, "Alright let's go to a hotel."
.....
"Hi room under the name of Frost." Flynn replied handing the card to the hotel clerk.
"Flynn can't your parents track down your card?" Hallie asked.
"Technically yes, but don't worry it will take them 6 hours to drive here and this the only thing I've used on the trip. Plus the hotel won't give you a room unless you have a card."

The four went to the closest Best Western they could find. They checked in for one night just so they could get some rest.

"Hold the elevator please!" Rapunzel called out.
She didn't call out in time though the teens in the elevator didn't hear her.

What she didn't know was that the people in the elevator were none other than her own children,

"People are so rude sometimes." Merida said to her friend.

Flynn, Hallie, Peder, and Rosie went up to the third floor where their room was. Room 307 the door read.

"Okay so Rosie and I will share and I guess that means you two have to share a bed too." Flynn said

"Great I get to listen to him murmur in his sleep all night." Hallie said.

"I do not talk in my sleep." Peder said.

"Yes you do." Hallie replied.

Rosalie looked like she was about to pass out. She was so tired from the day and her legs couldn't walk anymore.

Flynn tried the room key but it wouldn't unlock.

"Are you sure you're holding it right?" Asked Peder.

"Yes." Flynn said. "I'll just go down and ask for another one.

...

"Open the door Jack." Rapunzel yawned standing. With her husband in front of room 407

"This stupid key isn't working." Jack replied.

"Just go downstairs and ask them to give you a new one that's what me and Hiccup did." Merida said entering her room.

"Fine. I'll go." Jack said.

Jack walked to the elevator and pressed the button. He was growing inpatient as it seemed like the elevator was taking forever to get to his floor so he decided to walk downstairs instead.

Flynn took the elevator downstairs and walked up to the front desk, but no one seemed to be there. He rung the bell and a manager came out to assist him. He was nice looking fellow and looked almost as old as Flynn. He had dark hair and brown eyes. His name tag was gold and in green letters was the name Henry.

"Hey are key doesn't work for room 307." He said.

"Sorry sir our keys have been having problems let me fix that for you." He said.

"Hey if you don't mind me asking how old are you?"

"Seventeen." The manager replied.

"How does a seventeen year old become manager at a best western?"

"He doesn't he becomes a front desk clerk because he needs money to buy his girlfriend a birthday present." He replied.

"Ah that's why I pick the single life much less expensive." Flynn replied
"Really? I thought you would've totally gone for the reddish hair girl. She's pretty good looking if I didn't have a girlfriend she'd be the one I'd run to." He smiled.

"What? Hallie nah she's my best friend's sister, which means she's like my sister." Flynn said.

"Alright your loss then." Henry smiled. "Here's your card."

"Thanks... Henry." Flynn said,

Flynn walked back to the elevator when he saw tall man with almost white striking hair.

"Oh my god." Flynn said he thought quickly and ducked behind the lobby couch before his father could see him.

He watched as his father went to the front desk asking for a new room key. How did they get here so fast? They must've guessed they were going to Aunt Emma's why did he have to be so predictable, going to your favorite place in California how could he had been so careless! He waited patiently as he heard his dad's footsteps go back up the stairs.

He peeked behind the couched and released a sigh of relief as he saw his dad was gone. There was no way they could stay here tonight. His dad could find the car by morning. He had to get them out of there now.

Authors note: sorry sorry sorry lot has been happening I got accepted into jazz choir at my school and I was working hard on my audition and then I got sick so there is firegirl's excuses for today lol.
