After waiting for the bus to arrive, Peter got on board before taking the window seat at the far back and waits for the bus to arrive at his apartment as he reminisce on the events prior.

D.A.R.C: "Do you mind if I pose a question?"

Peter: "Sure, go ahead"

D.A.R.C: "Why did you decide against Y/n's aid even though you're directly inferior to him?"

Peter: "Hey, I'm not directly inferior. I trump him on some aspects"

D.A.R.C: "Really?"

Peter: "....Okay he might trump me in everything if he's serious but it's not about that"

D.A.R.C: "Then what is it?"

Peter: "It's just...it's just hard being the one getting saved all the time, sometimes I want to do the saving. Especially now"

D.A.R.C: "Hmm...You humans sure are strange"

Peter: "Plus, it's not like Y/n is the perfect hero. He has his wins and losses"

D.A.R.C: "Shouldn't failure be unacceptable in the business of being a hero"

Peter: "Being a hero isn't a job, its a responsibility, something Y/n takes very seriously"

D.A.R.C: "I see..."

Peter: "And if he was knocked down, he always find a way to bounce back. He doesn't define what he is through failures, but learns from them and improves himself"

D.A.R.C: "Fascinating, so you determine the betterment of yourselves through your flaws and build upon those failures"

Peter: "Something like that. It's what makes us human, kind of like you"

D.A.R.C: "Like me?"

Peter: "Back there, when you brought me to a dead-end. Instead of completely accepting being lost, we got on top of a pile of junk to get a scope of the yard"

D.A.R.C: "I'm sorry, for my inability to navigate through garbage"

Peter; *chuckles* "That's okay, like I said we all make mistakes. As long as we can learn from them, mistakes aren't so bad"

D.A.R.C: "Fascinating...I have much to learn about being human"

Peter: "I guess I never gave you enough credit. You really did change, D.A.R.C"

D.A.R.C: "Thank you, it means a lot"

Back at the Parker residence, May is just setting up the table for dinner as Y/n sheepishly walks down the stairs.

May: "Oh, Y/n! Perfect timing, I kept calling out to you but you just wouldn't answer"

Y/n: "Yeah...about that..."

May: "Come on, Y/n. What's got you so jitter? You got a girl in bed upstairs or something?"

Y/n: *looks to the side awkwardly*

May: "Oh...my...God. Y/n L/n I thought I raised you better than that-"

Y/n: "He-Hey, hey! Before you say something you clearly misunderstood, let me just say that...you just won't get it"

May: *scoff* "Please, I went through a phase similar to yours when I was your age. I think I could get it"

Y/n: *shrug* "Alright...but don't say I didn't tell you so"

Y/n then looks back up the stairs before gesturing for someone to head down. He continued his way to the bottom of the stairs as another pair of footsteps makes their way down the stairs before revealing themselves to may as Spider-Gwen but in Y/n's hoodie that was 2 sizes too big and his cotton sweatpants.

May: "Oh my god...You guys are finally back together!"

Y/n: "What?! No! No no!"

May: "Oh this is amazing! I knew you two would reconcile and finally be ba-"

Y/n: "MAY!"

Y/n hurriedly ran over to May and grabbed her by the shoulders, holding her in place as Y/n stares at her dead in the eyes.

Y/n: "Remember when I told you that you'll get the wrong idea?"

May: "Uh-huh?"

Y/n: "You have the wrong idea"

May: "Huh? W-what are you talking about?"

Y/n stepped away from May before waving his arms in an unveiling way as if presenting Gwen.

Y/n: "May, I'd like to introduce my girlfriend, Gwendolyn Stacy. The relatively similar but definitely different Gwen Stacy of Earth 65"

Gwen: *shy wave* "Hi"

May: ".......What?"

Y/n: "Basically she's from another dimension"

May: "Oh *scoff* Of course! I gotcha"

May then finishes with a wink which was enough for Y/n to tell that she didn't get it.

Y/n: "May, I'm serious"

May: "It's fine if you don't want to tell me just yet it's okay. No need to force yourself"

Y/n: *sigh* "Okay, Aunt May. Have you heard of the Multiverse theory?"

May: "Of course, I do. You and Peter talk about it all the time I practically memorized it in my head. Why?"

Y/n: "Well..."

Y/n looks at Gwen before back at May, she quickly caught on to his signal and began piecing everything together in her head.

May: "No..."

Y/n and Gwen looked at each other once more before back at May.

Y/n/Gwen: *nods* "Yeah..."

May: "T-This is just INSANE! I think I might...I think I need to lay down"

May then faints on the spot and was about to collapse to the ground but Y/n manages to swoop in just in time and catches her in his arms. 

Y/n: *looks back at Gwen* "Two for Two"

Y/n and Gwen then carried May over to the couch, stacking the pillows on one side to elevate May's head slightly and to make her comfortable. After they laid May on the couch, Peter makes it back home and enters through the front door.

Peter: "Hey, Y/n, Gwen. Sorry I'm- *notices May*  OH MY GOSH, MAY!"

Gwen: "Peter, calm down. She just fainted"

Peter: *phew* "That's a relief"

Y/n: "Yeah, guess Aunt May couldn't process the Multiverse being a real deal"

Peter: "So you told May about the Multiverse?"

Y/n: "I kinda have to, since...You know"

Peter: "Right. I better clean up for dinner, the Suspension Matrix worked like a treat by the way"

Y/n: "Good to know"

Peter then ran up the stairs as Gwen looked over at Y/n confused.

Gwen: "Suspension Matrix?"

Y/n: "Just a new invention I cooked up to help me in fights. I could lend you some if you like"

Gwen: "That'd be great"

Peter then makes his way back down as the three set up the table for the four of them. They manage to arrange the utensils just as May starts waking up.

Y/n: "How are you feeling Aunt May?"

May: *groan* "A bit better, I had this weird dream of you dating Gwen from another dimension"

Y/n: "That's not a dream"

May's eyes widened before quickly sitting up and turning around as she saw Gwen standing by the table.

May: "So it really is real? She's from another dimension?"

Y/n: "Yes, and she's here to stay. Until our Spider work is over"

May: "So she's a spider-person too?"

Y/n: "That's right"

Gwen: "Y/n!"

Y/n: "Relax, she knows already"

Peter: "Hey, guys. The food's getting cold"

May: "Oh right, dinner. have you guys eaten yet?"

Peter: "No, we were waiting for you"

May: "Well then, come on. Let's eat"

May then sat up from the couch and makes her way to the table, seamlessly changing her expression as Y/n and Gwen looked on in surprise. The parkers, plus Y/n and Gwen, then dined blissfully at the dining table like one big happy family. 

The clatter from the utensils and the chatter of the attendants on the table were soon drowned out by running water from the faucet as the scene changes to Y/n doing the dishes with Aunt May wiping the dishes clean before putting them away as Gwen sat by the living room watching TV. 

May: "Okay, I got to get this out of my head"

Y/n: "What is it?"

May: "You dating this 'other' Gwen, don't you think this is a bit...unhealthy?"

Y/n: "What do you mean?"

May: "It's just, how do I know you're in this relationship all because you want to date Gwen again? That alone should be enough to call help"

Y/n: "I assure you, What happened between Gwen and I is never related to my relationship"

Y/n then turns off the faucet before flicking his wrists to remove the excess water from his hands.

Y/n: "She's her own person and I chose to love her, not because she bears resemblance to my own Gwen. I never let someone that they represent define who they are...I thought you knew me better than that, May"

May: "You're right..."

Unknown to them, Gwen could overhear the two from the living room as Gwen had the TV's volume on low. After taking care of the dishes, Y/n made his way to Gwen.

Y/n: "I'm gonna go set up your bed, all the beds here are already taken so you can just have mine"

Gwen: "Where are you gonna sleep?"

Y/n: "On the couch"

Gwen: *slight blush* "You know...we could always, share the bed"

Y/n: *blush* "I-I, uh..."

Gwen: "I-If you want to...that is"

Y/n: "N-No! I mean Yes, I...I would love to"

Gwen then looks away from the TV and into Y/n's eyes as the two stared longingly at each other. 

The scene then transitions to them laying in each other's arms as they lay together in bed. Peter is in the room too but in his own bed knocked out from his hectic day, Y/n and Gwen had yet to fall asleep due to Gwen being plagued by her thoughts causing her to stay awake as Y/n relishes of having Gwen in his arms. 

Gwen: "Hey, Y/n...?"

Y/n: "Yeah Gwen?"

Gwen: "Can I ask you something? But you have to be honest"

Y/n: "I'm always honest with you, ask away"

Gwen: "Do you ever regret being in love with me?"

Y/n: "Of course not, I would never!"

Y/n then felt Gwen's grip on him tighten leading Y/n to sigh as he wrapped Gwen tighter into a comforting hug and whispered into her ear.

Y/n: "You are the most amazing thing that's ever happened to me, sure we didn't get along when we first met...but I decided to look past my own mishaps and see you as your own person. I love you, Gwendolyn Stacy, for who you are. Don't ever forget that"

Gwen: "I love you too..."

We're going back to 1.something k words per chapter again. I keep getting speed bumps in my creative writings but it's nothing I can't handle.

My workload is finally starting to slow down as my schedule starts to free up for more chapters, so hopefully, my output for chapters will quicken. But anyways a bit of Spider-Gwen moment here, always a treat to make and I hope a treat for you guys to read. 

So with that said I believe you guys know the drill
