The living room is deathly silent here in the Watson's residence, none dare speak as Gwen stared intently at her counterpart who sat in her spot slightly uncomfortable, but is yet to rival Y/n's as he sat on the floor on his knees.

His eyes went back and forth from Gwen and Spider-Gwen before looking over at his friends who watched the scene unfold before their eyes, with faces that looked in confusion, apart from Peter.

Y/n: "Wait, Why the hell am I on the floor? *proceeds to stand* I should just-"

Gwen: "Sit. DOWN"

Y/n: "Yes, ma'am"

Y/n obediently sits back down as Gwen didn't break her stare at Spider-Gwen.

Spider-Gwen: "Should you really be so harsh on him?"

Gwen: "Don't think I'm done with you, missy"

Slamming her hands onto the coffee table, Gwen leaned over the table and got close to Spider-Gwen.

Gwen: "Just who in the world are you?"

Spider-Gwen: *sigh* "Like I said, My name is Gwendolyn Maxine Stacy"

Gwen: "Funny...Cause the last I've checked, I'M Gwendolyn Maxine Stacy"

Gwen sat down before crossing her arms, thinking that she had her counterpart cornered

Spider-Gwen: "Well...you're not exactly the only Gwen Stacy in the Multiverse"

Gwen: "Wait, Multiverse? The Multiverse is real?"

Spider-Gwen: "I thought that was apparent?"

Gwen: "Since when did that exist?"

Spider-Gwen: "Hmm...A year ago"

Gwen: "WHAT!? That's insane"

Gloria: "Woah-Woah-Woah, hold on. The Multiverse? What is that?"

Y/n: "So there was this concept, basically humanity believes that we're not the only earth in the vast infinity of the universe and began theorizing. A Multiverse Theory, if you will"

MIles: "Yeah, but isn't it just that? A Theory?"

Betty: "And how would we know if this isn't just some clone or robot from the future tasked to kill her unborn son to prevent a futuristic rebellion?"

Gloria: "Okay, you need to chill on those Sci-fi thrillers"

Y/n: "Well, I don't have the proof on me...but I think this will do"

Reaching inside his pocket, Y/n pulls out his interdimensional hopper and shows it to his friends.

Betty: "Cool...what is it?"

Y/n: "It's a dimension traveling device, I call it the dimension traveling device. A dimensional hopper if you will"

Betty let out a scoff before being elbowed to the side by Gloria.

Y/n: "You guys seem skeptical. Allow me to demonstrate"

Standing up from the floor, Y/n strapped on the Dimensional hopper before walking to the center and tapping his shoulders.

Y/n: "Grab on"

Gwen: "What?"

Y/n: "Well, the only way for me to bring people to another dimension is by forcefully traveling them with me"

Gloria: "Is it safe?"

Y/n: "We're about to travel to a dimension we know nothing about, is anything safe at that point?

Gloria: "You're not exactly giving me the confidence I need"

Peter: "Relax, the worst thing that could happen is you vomit, then again I only traveled once"

Miles: "I don't know..."

Y/n: "I mean you guys can just say no if you guys will admit you're chicken"

Y/n then began impersonating a chicken, mocking his nervous friends, until a hand was placed on his shoulder. He looks over and saw Gwen holding onto him with determination.

Y/n: "Looks like we have a passenger"

Peter: *grabs Y/n's shoulder* "I could go for another go"

Betty: "Dimension travel...Count. Me. IN!"

Betty lunged towards Y/n, wrapping around him that almost caused him to stumble back if not for Peter and Gwen. The last two to grab on were Gloria and Miles, the two looked over at each other before begrudgingly nodding and taking their place by Y/n.

He then extends a hand to Spider-Gwen which she happily accepts before being pulled towards Y/n and held close to one another.

Y/n: "Alright, everyone. Hang on to your buts!"

The majority then took the expression literally and placed one hand on their behind while resting the other one on Y/n's, causing a slight groan in annoyance from the traveler as Spider-Gwen chuckled lightly at his expense.

Once everyone is ready, Y/n pressed the button on his Dimensional Hopper, sending him and others across the web of dimensions, for a fraction of a second before arriving in another dimension.

After their travel, everyone grabbed ahold of their stomach before vomiting to the side, apart from Peter and Spider-Gwen. Peter felt slightly nauseous and Spider-Gwen instantly grew used to the travel from her first escapades.

Y/n: And just like that, we have arrived"

Miles: *groan* "It feels like my insides just liquified"

Gwen: "How are you guys not throwing up after that?"

Peter: *shrug* "You'll get used to it eventually"

Y/n: "The Dimensional Hopper bypasses the side-effects by containing my molecules to prevent them from tearing itself apart"

Gloria: "TEAR ITSELF APART!"

Y/n: "Relax. This is a more controlled dimension traveling device, the side-effects would only be nausea and vomiting"

Betty: "So where are we anyway? This doesn't look like MJ's apartment"

Spider-Gwen: "We're home. Rather, MY home"

Y/n walks over to Spider-Gwen and interlocks each other's hands as the rest began looking around their environment.

Gwen: "It looks the same, yet...different"

Y/n: "That's the multiverse for ya. Everything looks the same but slightly different than ours"

Gloria: "So what other differences does this dimension have?"

Y/n: "Well, for one thing; There are flying robots trying to fight Captain America"

Y/n points over in the distance with his other hand, indicating to a group of flying robots surrounding this dimension's Captain America.

Unlike Y/n's dimension's Captain America being Steve Rogers, this dimension's Captain America bore no resemblance to Steve.

This Captain America was known as Samantha Wilson, a female of African-American descent who was assigned to Project Rebirth and was given the Super-Soldier serum rather than Steve.

Miles: *To Spider-Gwen* "Aren't you gonna help her?"

Y/n: "Now, hold on. Let's see how this Captain America rolls"

The robots commenced their attack by bombarding Captain America immediately, but one droid was held back from the charge by Cap's shield, giving her the opportunity she needs to break away from the crowd

The shield manages to lodge itself in the robot's chassis and was brutally ripped out by Captain America, sending sparks flying across the battlespace.

The rest were quickly dealt with in the same fashion, effortlessly using her shield to lodge it to the robot's body before destroying it into two.

On the last remaining droid, Cap's shield bounced off in an off-angle, causing the shield to misdirect and was now hurling towards Y/n and the others.

Peter: "Look out!"

As the others went to brace for the impending impact, Y/n, without a second of hesitation, jumps towards the shield and catches it mid-air before hurling it back towards the robot with twice the force, cutting it in half before bouncing off a cement wall and flew back to Captain America who catches it effortlessly.

Y/n: "Uh-Oh"

Captain America: *looks over* "Hey, you!"

Y/n: "Welp, time to go. Everyone grab on!"

Everyone quickly grouped up around Y/n, placing a hand on Y/n before placing the other on their butts as Y/n pressed the button on his Dimensional Hopper, bringing them back to MJ's apartment in their dimension.

Miles: *groan* "I'll never get used to that"

Gloria: "Ditto"

Y/n: "So, got any questions?"

Betty: "That was so awesome!"

Gloria: "It's just a lot to take in"

Miles: "I think I need to lay down"

Gwen: "So, you could've cleared MJ's name?"

Everyone's excitement quickly washed away as it was replaced with shock, including Philip who had just come back after going to the bathroom.

Y/n: "It's not that simple Gwen"

Gwen: "What is it that makes it so complicated?!"

Spider-Gwen: "Okay, maybe we should-"

Gwen: "You just showed us that there are more universes out there, if you would've made it public then maybe this whole misunderstanding would've been cleared up from the start"

Y/n: "The fact that you think that just shows how oblivious you are to the consequences that will come with that"

Spider-Gwen: "And besides, Y/n reserves all the rights whether he wants to publicize it or not"

Gwen: "Really, is that the lies he's been feeding you?"

Spider-Gwen: "Excuse you?"

Gwen: "In truth, that's just who Y/n is deep down. A selfish little scumbag that always has something to hide"

Spider-Gwen had grown a tick mark on her head as she clenches her fists irritated.

Spider-Gwen: *mutter* "Don't you dare talk to him that way..."

Gwen: "I bet all the promises and moments weren't even real to him, you're just a one-off romance"

Y/n: "Hey!"

Spider-Gwen: "Shut up..."

Gwen: "So here's a little heads up the next time you think about dating a Y/n. Never believe a single word they say, words mean nothing to them and they'll sure as hell treat you the same"

All of a sudden, Spider-Gwen snapped. Her emotional barrier shattered to pieces, leading her to slap Gwen across the face with tears shedding from her eyes.

Spider-Gwen: "I've taken shit from people almost every day... whenever I felt alone he's the only one that reminded me that I wasn't. Don't you even think about Gaslighting me into hating him, BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW A DAMN THING ABOUT WHAT HE'S BEEN THROUGH!!"

After the slap had rung out across the room, everyone looked over at Spider-Gwen, their shocked expression quickly directed towards her as Gwen looks back with a look of disbelief.

Spider-Gwen: "I-I...I'm sorry. I-"

Before Spider-Gwen could finish her sentence, she swiftly puts on her mask before jumping out of a nearby window and swinging away.

Peter: "Well...that just happened"

Y/n: *sigh* "I think we have enough drama for one day. I think we should all head home"

Y/n began gathering his things before making his way toward Peter.

Y/n: "Tell May I won't be coming home tonight"

Peter: "Where are you going?"

Y/n: "What every good boyfriend does, I'm going after her"

Y/n then walks out the front door before shutting it closed, leaving Peter and the rest in silence to recuperate.

Mid-day turned to Afternoon as everyone had finally recuperated from their overwhelming emotion. Gloria poured a glass of water from the pitcher in the kitchen before walking back to the living room and placing it in front of Gwen.

Gwen: "Thanks..."

Miles: "So...are we gonna talk about what happened with Y/n?"

Miles, who was sitting beside Gwen, chimed in. Everyone remained silent and kept to themselves, all except Peter.

Peter: "I'll go first. Don't you think that was a bit insensitive, Gwen?"

Miles: "Dude!"

Peter: "I thought you and Y/n buried the hatchet already? What, you couldn't stand seeing him be happy?"

Gwen: "That wasn't it, and you know it!"

Peter: "Then what is it? Cause I don't think it was just me that was thinking it"

Gwen: "I did it to protect her, she needs to know what she's signing up for when dealing with Y/n and maybe other versions of him too"

Peter: *scoff* "Trust me, all that talk is all for nothing"

Gwen: "And how are you so sure?"

Peter: "Because in every chaotic event there will always be a constant, and do you know what that one constant is in the Multiverse?

Betty: "What?

Peter: "Y/n L/n dies!"

Peter then walked over and took Gwen's glass and drank half of its contents.

Peter: "Do you realize how messed up that is? That in every dimension, in every universe, you find out you'll die before you get to live out your life. Yet Y/n has lived with that fact for all his life"

Guilt then overwhelmed Gwen, she began rubbing her arms for comfort while avoiding the glare that came from Peter.

Peter: *sigh* "I don't know what happened between the two of you, but...he's changed. And he deserves love too, even if it has to be another version of you, because you don't get to choose who he loves"

After his speech, Peter looks around the living room, mainly at Philip, Betty, and Gloria, who were all shocked at Peter's display.

Betty: "Woah..."

Gloria: "I have never seen Peter so intense"

Peter: *sigh* "I'm sorry, it's just...a lot has happened today and, I just got these emotions building up inside"

Philip then walks over and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Philip: "I understand, son. Now go sit down, take a breather"

Peter nods and took a seat a bit farther away from Gwen and Miles.

Philip: "Though, I don't know much about this Y/n person, or whatever you kids were talking about. But I could tell from a glance that he isn't the person you described him as, heck he got himself nearly killed to keep you guys safe. Even defended his friend"

Peter: "I just...I just wish he was okay"

Elsewhere, Y/n is now seen in his Spidey suit as he swings around frantically in search of Spider-Gwen.

Y/n: "Damnit, you would think that having spider-sense that tells me if she's nearby would help me in this situation. But no"

Landing on a nearby roof, Y/n took a second to calm down, taking deep breaths and carefully planning out what to do next.

Y/n: "Now, if I were a boyfriend trying to get his girlfriend's attention, how would I go about doing so?"

Placing a hand on his chin, Y/n adopts a thinking position before an idea struck him once he laid his eyes on the Manhattan bridge.

D.A.R.C: "Shall I access the satellites to look for her unique signature?"

Y/n: "Maybe not, I think I have an idea on how to lure her out"

D.A.RC: "And what would that be?"

Y/n: "We're gonna plan a date"

D.A.R.C: "That's sweet, Y/n. But I think dating an Artificial Intelligence would not be ideal for your image"

Y/n: "What? No, I don't mean with you. *sigh* Just let me take care of it, and probably search for an easy to carry table"

(Timeskip)

After taking some time for herself, Spider-Gwen stared at her mask, pondering lightly.

Spider-Gwen: (What has gotten into me?)

Gwen (Memory): "So here's a little heads up the next time you think about dating a Y/n. Never believe a single word they say, words mean nothing to them and they'll sure as hell treat you the same"

Spider-Gwen: "I bet he's being shunned for what I did...he probably hates me now"

Donning her mask, Spider-Gwen zipped to the top of the building before launching forward, getting a head-start in her momentum as she began swinging around Manhattan.

Spider-Gwen: "It's almost nighttime already? What have I been doing?"

As she swings around Manhattan, she noticed a few pedestrians looking on in the distance in awe.

Spider-Gwen: "What are they looking at?"

Deciding to follow the directions they were looking, Spider-Gwen swings rapidly across the Neighborhood in fear it might be a criminal activity, she picked up her pace before zipping towards another building to get a better view.

It was only when she laid eyes on the Manhattan Bridge is when she was left speechless. From the roof of the building she is standing on, she noticed webbing on the side of Manhattan bridge, she made out a few letters on the bridge before finally deciphering the message.

I LOVE YOU SPIDER-WOMAN <3

Spider-Gwen: "Y/n..."

Spider-Gwen is stunned, and flattered at the display before her, bringing a slight smile on her face beneath her mask as she makes her to the Manhattan bridge.

When she arrived, a romantic tune played on the speaker that was connected to Y/n's phone as he stood at the center with a small table behind him with a box of pizza and a few candles.

Y/n: "I was hoping you'd show up, otherwise this would be really awkward"

Spider-Gwen: *lands* "Y/n...what is all of this?"

Y/n: "Pizza's the only thing I could order without it making a mess when I brought it up here. So, waddaya say? Care to have pizza under candlelight with me?"

Spider-Gwen: "I would love to"

Y/n then gentlemanly escorts Gwen to the table, pulling a small stool for her and pushing her close to the table before taking a seat of his own. The two then marveled at the fragrant smell of pizza before dining in together.

They both shared in the comforting silence, being content by each other's company as the warmth of the candle along with the still freshly made pizza warming their gut, provided the perfect atmosphere for the two. No drama. No Carnage. Just them and the one they love.

After finishing their meal, Y/n placed the table to the side as he and Spider-Gwen sat by the edge, watching the moon high in the sky as they wrapped an arm around each other.

Y/n: "I think it suffices to say that we reached a milestone in our interdimensional relationship"

Spider-Gwen: "How so?"

Y/n: "Well, it may not be much, but we have officially had a date in my dimension. I know you wanted to have a date here for a change"

Spider-Gwen: "Oh right, I can't believe you remembered"

Y/n: "I always remember details that are important, again, sorry if it ain't much"

Spider-Gwen: "No, I loved it. I don't know how, but even the simplest things feel magical with you around"

They then shared a sigh of contentment, as they resumed their moon gazing. However, the moment when she slapped her counterpart quickly invaded her mind, causing an instant shift in her mood. This didn't go unnoticed by Y/n, who quickly noticed despite the subtle change.

Y/n: "Is everything alright?"

Spider-Gwen: "I'm sorry..."

Y/n: "What for?"

Spider-Gwen: "About before, something inside me just snapped and I-"

Y/n: *soothes* "It's okay, whatever happened, happened. And I don't hate you for it if that's what you're worried about"

Spider-Gwen: "I did, it's just-I just wish circumstances would be different. *sigh* It feels like every day it just keeps getting worse and worse, and I think it's all because of me"

Y/n: "Hey, now..."

Y/n then reached over with his other arm and gently placed a hand on her chin before making her look towards him.

Y/n: "Every day has been a blessing to me, and you wanna know why?"

Spider-Gwen: "Why?"

Y/n: "Because I have you with me. Who cares about the mess and trouble throughout the day, as long as you are by my side, it doesn't matter whatever else happened"

Spider-Gwen: "Oh, Y/n"

Y/n: "And I want to show you, just how much you mean to me"

Y/n then leaned forward and captured Spider-Gwen's lips, sharing a heartfelt kiss, which led to Y/n slowly pushing Gwen down until he was laying on top of her.

Y/n: "Am I pushing this too far?"

Spider-Gwen: "No, I think...I think I'm ready, just be gentle, okay?"

Y/n: "I will, just relax and I'll deal with the rest"

We then pan upwards, until the moon is the only view we see as the howls of pleasure filled the air before resonating with the passing vehicles below them.
