Pierce: "I'm glad you're here, Nick"

Nick: "Really? Because I thought you had me killed"

Pierce: "You know how the game works"

Nick then walked up to Pierce and got up to his face while Chris moves to the side with his hand resting on his concealed handgun. 

Nick: "So why make me the head of S.H.I.E.L.D?"

Pierce: "Because you're the best, the most ruthless person I've ever met"

Nick: "I did what I did to protect people"

Pierce: "Our enemies are your enemies, Nick. Disorder. War. Just a matter of time before a dirty bomb goes off on Moskow or an EMP fries Chicago. Diplomacy? Holding action, Nick. A band-aid, you know where I learned that? Bogota, you didn't ask you just did what had to be done"

Pierce then inched closer to Nick as he stands in front of him defiantly.

Pierce: "I can bring order to the lives of 7 BILLION people, by sacrificing 20 million. It's the next step, Nick. If you have the courage to take it"

Nick: "No, I have the courage not to"

Nick then grabs Pierce by the arm and led him towards the large screen in his office as Natasha readies up the RetInal scanner.

A.I: "RETINAL SCANNER ACTIVE"

Pierce: *scoff* "Don't you think we've wiped your clearance from the system?"

Nick: "I know, you erased my password, probably deleted my retinal scan. But if you want to stay ahead of me, Mr secretary..."

Nick then got up close to Pierce's face and moved his eye-patch to the side and see his scarred eye.

Nick: "You need to keep BOTH eyes open"

Nick then went ahead and faced the Retinal scanners with Pierce following suit while having a gun pointed to his head.

A.I: "ALPHA LEVEL CONFIRMED. ENCRYPTION CODE ACCEPTED. SAFEGUARDS REMOVED"

Over at the main control room, Maria Hill continues to give reports on the situation.

Maria: "Charlie carrier's 45 degrees off the Port Bau..."

Maria then looks over at the CCTV and sees two HYDRA gunmen about to breach into the control room, she looks over her shoulder to Krista who quickly understood as she sets up right above the door. 

When the gunmen burst through the door, Krista pushes herself off the wall using her Negative Energy, sending her rocketing forward before shooting a web to the doorframe and kicking the two gunmen out of the room and crushing them to a concrete wall as Maria continued her report

Maria: "6 minutes"

Back to Y/n, we see him still laying behind cover after hearing the time he has left to work with. When he tries to stand up, he groans in pain in his left leg preventing him from getting up and when he looked over his leg, he saw a large hole where the bullet pierced through and is leaking blood at an alarming rate.

Y/n: "That's not good"

Y/n quickly applied the best first aid he could give himself by webbing up his shot leg on both openings. Once the wound was covered, Y/n pushes himself to his feet only to fall to his knees right as a couple of bullets flew past Y/n's head from the pistol of the Winter Soldier.

Steve: *comms* "Hey, Sam! Gonna need a ride!"

Sam then took a U-turn and is now making his way towards Insight Carrier 1 where Steve is at.

Sam: "Roger! Let me know when you're ready!"

An explosion then followed along with a falling Steve.

Steve: *comms* "I just did!"

Spotting Steve, Sam dive bombed towards him and grab ahold of his arm before reorienting himself and setting his jetpack to full throttle, sending them skyrocketing towards Insight carrier 3 where Y/n is located. 

Speaking off, The Winter Soldier kept his firearm trained on Y/n and waits for him to peek out of his cover. Y/n however remained still in his hiding spot as his vision started fading in and out as he starts to faint from losing a lot of blood.

Y/n: *smack* "Stay awake, Y/n! You're almost there..."

Y/n then looks ahead and sees he was so close to the door leading inside the Helicarrier.

Y/n: "The door's right there, just gotta find the right timing"

Seeing no activity on Y/n's end, The Winter Soldier slowly pushed up towards Y/n only to hear the sound of Sam's jetpack in the distance, forcing him to withdraw to get into a position to ambush the super-soldier right as they land.

Sam: "You know, you're a lot heavier than you look"

Steve: *shrug* "I had a big breakfast. We need to find Spidey, sooner we find him, the sooner this could all be over"

Right as he was about to pass by a stack of crates, Steve was immediately tackled off the carrier by the Winter Soldier.

Sam: "Steve!"

When Sam unveiled his wings to save Steve, The Winter Soldier quickly grab ahold of his wings before tossing Sam back. Sam quickly catches himself in the air before turning to the Winter Soldier and whipping out his uzi's to open fire on him.

The Winter Soldier cartwheels back before ducking into cover, when Sam lost sight of the Winter Soldier, he went flying to another position but that's when the Winter Soldier peeks at Sam and shot a grappling hook to one of Sam's wings and pulled him down to the Helicarrier. 

Y/n quickly caught wind of the fight and uses this opportunity to push himself out of cover before entering the Helicarrier and making his way down.

Back with the Winter Soldier, he violently tugs on his line that's connected to Sam's wing, detaching it from his jetpack. Sam then went to stand up but the Winter Soldier ran up to him and kicked him out of the Helicarrier, sending Sam falling thousands of feet back to the ground. 

Thankfully, Sam manages to control his free fall and detaches his remaining wing, and pulled the chord to his parachute just before landing on the roof. Back over at the Helicarrier, Steve is seen hanging to the side of the Helicarrier's thrusters.

Sam: *comms* "Cap, come in! Are you okay?"

Steve: "Yeah, I'm here! I'm still on the Helicarrier. Where are you?"

Sam: *comms* "I'm grounded, the suit's down. Sorry, Cap. You're on your own"

Y/n: *comms* "Not exactly..."

Steve: "Spider-man? Where are you?"

Y/n: comms* *groans* "I'm on my way down to replace the last Data blade...God, it hurts..."

Steve: "Alright I'm on my way to you"

After Krista took care of the gunmen, Maria looked back to the cameras and saw Romlow heading up the stairs to Pierce's office. 

Maria: "Rumlow's heading for the council, Spider-girl?"

Krista: "I'm on it"

Webbing up the last gunmen, Krista booked it out of the control room and made her way to Romlow's position. 

Y/n manages to stumble into the bridge where his objective stood.

Y/n: "Come on, just a push it just a little more"

With the pain in his leg still shooting up his spine, Y/n limped his way towards the console as he uses the handrails to prevent him from falling. Y/n manages to push himself off the railing and lean on the console, he presses the buttons he needs to access the data rack as it falls from its housing.

Y/n then took one of the data blades out from its place and went for his S.H.I.E.L.D data blade, but before he could replace the data blade he felt his spider-sense pick up danger coming from behind. 

Y/n quickly reacted and ducked down right as a gunshot was heard and a bullet flew past his head. He turns around and saw the Winter Soldier holding a smoking pistol as he missed his last bullet. 

Y/n: "You..."

Y/n stood straight as the Winter Soldier reloads his pistol, another pair of footsteps were heard behind the two. When they turn back to the door, they saw Steve jog up to them before walking to a stop.

Steve: "Bucky..."

Winter Soldier: "..."

Steve: "People are gonna die, Buck. I can't let that happen"

Steve and the Winter Soldier began to stare down as Y/n eyed the data rack along with the data blade still in his hand.

Steve: "Please don't make me do this..."

As the Winter Soldier remained silent, Y/n quickly turns around and went to place the data blade onto the rack but the Winter Soldier swiftly turns and grabs Y/n's arm where he held the data blade and forced him to turn around before the Winter Soldier delivers a punch across Y/n's face.

He retaliates by reorienting himself before sending a kick to the Winter Soldiers chin, forcing him to the ground as Y/n's injured leg slammed into the grating, causing him to wince in pain. 

The Winter Soldier stood back to his feet and went to grab the data blade from Y/n, but he quickly got into a separate brawl with Steve as he went to attack him from behind. The Winter Soldier turns around and nullifies Steve's shield bash with his metal arm and pushed him back before drawing his pistol and began shooting Steve.

He manages to block the Winter Soldier's shots, but he pulls out another pistol and shot the other to Steve's side causing him to wince in pain. The Winter Soldier then stood up and went to attack Steve while he's hiding behind his shield, but Steve surprises him with another shield bash, sending the Winter Soldier to his back again as he skids to Y/n who stood back up to go for another attempt to the data rack

The Winter Soldier prevented this by tripping Y/n, causing him to fall and drop the data blade as it falls off the bridge.

Y/n: "No!"

Y/n looks back and kicks the Winter Soldier in the face before dropping down after the data blade with The Winter Soldier, who shook off the attack, sliding down behind him. 

Y/n manages to swipe the data blade off the floor before turning around and ducking under the Winter Soldier's hook. Y/n then went on to deliver a couple of strikes of his own, sending a punch to the Winter Soldier's side before throwing one to his abdomen, sending him back.

The Winter Soldier then went for a roundhouse kick, but Y/n ducks under it and delt a crescent kick with his injured leg, which Y/n winces in pain right after landing the attack. 

Steve then slides down soon after and delivers a punch across The Winter Soldier's face as he turns to face Steve. He then went for another shield bash but The Winter Soldier grabs the shield in place with his metal arm as the two began to pull against each other for the shield. 

The WInter Soldier saw Steve pulling against the shield hard, he quickly stop pulling and pushed the shield towards Steve, the sudden shift in force causes him to fall to his back. 

The Winter Soldier then turns back to Y/n as he deals a left hook across the Winter soldier's cheek, he went to retaliate with a strong hook from his metal arm but Y/n ducks under the attack before tossing the data blade in the air, making the Winter Soldier look at the blade in question as Y/n catches it with his right hand and delivering a backhand to his nose causing the Winter Soldier to stumble back before glaring at Y/n.

Y/n: "We could go on for as long as you want..."

Y/n pumps his arms before going to his fighting stance as he saw Steve readying his shield as he waits for an opening

Y/n: "I can do this all day"

The Winter Soldier then let out a battle cry before swinging his metal arm at Y/n who ducks under it again and sent a swift jab to the Winter Soldier's chest, forcing him back into Steve who quickly stood up and hurls his shield to the back of The Winter Soldier's head. 

The Winter Soldier manages to turn around and swat the shield into the air but leaves his back open to Y/n. He then throws the data blade to Steve before webbing the shield and pulling it towards him. 

Y/n then placed the shield near the Winter Soldier's head before punching the back of the shield, causing a loud ringing to reverb to the back of his head, concussing him. Y/n then slipped on the shield and used the side of the shield to strike the Winter Soldier's back, sending him stumbling forward as he was met with a dropkick from Steve, sending him sliding to the edge of the slope. 

Y/n then tosses the shield back to Steve as he tossed the data blade back to Y/n before making his way up. 

Winter Soldier: "RRAAGGHHH!!!"

The WInter Soldier quickly got back to his feet and tackled Steve into Y/n as all three of them fall, the two super-soldiers flew towards the metal pillar with Y/n as they crush him with both of their combined weight. 

The impact causes the wind inside Y/n to get knocked out, leading his grip on the data blade to loosen as they fall to the glass dome, dropping the data blade as it slid across the glass. 

Once the decryption of S.H.I.E.L.D's data was complete, it was immediately sent across the internet through social media.

Natasha: "Done *looks at phone* And it's on trending"

With Nick, Natasha, and the rest of the council now preoccupied, Pierce reached for his phone and pressed a button twice. The pins on the councilmen's chest began flaring up before burning through their clothes and into their sternum, prompting Natasha and Nick to quickly point their guns at Pierce. 

Pierce: "If you don't want a two-inch hole in your sternum, I'd put that gun down"

Having his thumb over the screen on his phone, Nick and Natasha both looked at each other before complying with Pierce's demands

Y/n turned to his stomach and went to shoot a web towards the data blade, but The Winter Soldier went and reach over first with Steve close behind him. Grabbing the Winter soldier's outstretched, normal hand, where he holds the data blade, Steve placed him in an arm lock before slowly adding pressure to the joint.

Steve: "Drop it!"

The Winter Soldier tried to resist, wrestling his arm out of Steve while reaching back to try and hit Steve with his metal arm, both being futile. Seeing no other choice, Steve applied full pressure on The Winter Soldier's elbow, dislocating it as he wails out in pain but didn't relent on his grip on the data blade. 

Steve then forces the Winter Soldier to the ground and puts him in a chokehold before slowly closing out his windpipe, he tries to struggle out of Steve's hold even going so far to pry the arm off his neck with his metal arm, but when he manages to pull off Steve's locking arm he quickly interlocks his legs to the metal arm preventing The Winter Soldier from struggling further until he passes out and finally drops the data blade. 

Steve pushed the Winter Soldier aside before grabbing the data blade and going to help Y/n up to his feet, only for him to decline the offer.

Y/n: "We don't have much time, just go!"

Steve looked conflicted before nodding as he went and climbed back up to the console

Brock: "I'm on 41, heading towards the southwest stairwell"

Brock made his way out the hallway and into a conference room where he was quickly ambushed by Krista, who kicks Romlow to the side of his head causing him to stumble back before Krista went and grabbed Rumlow's head before pushing it down to deliver a knee strike to his nose. 

Rumlow quickly reverses the grip, now locking Krista's arms with his own, and throws a headbutt, dazing Krista before shoving her to the ground.

Brock: "This is gonna hurt, there are no prisoners with HYDRA. Just order, and order only comes through-"

Krista: "Dude, I don't give a shit about your hard-on for HYDRA. You can rub one-off in your own time"

Brock then took off his vest as Krista stood up before the two collided their fists together. 

Pierce: "Lieutenant, how much longer?"

Lieutenant: *comms* "65 seconds till Satelite link"

Soldier: *comms* "Targeting grid engaged, lowering weapons right now"

The clock starts to tick down to the last minute, worrying Agent Hill

Maria: "1 minute"

As Steve climbs his way back up to the bridge, Y/n looked to the side and saw The Winter Soldier slowly getting back up on his feet now with a pistol that happened to slide down with them. 

He slowly stood up and aims towards Steve before taking shots at him as he climbs up, and when we manages to reach the console, just a few steps away from the data rack, The Winter Soldier shot Steve hitting him directly in the abdomen, causing him to slide down to the base of the console. 

Before the WInter Soldier could take one more shot, Y/n intercepts and kicks the gun off his hands before getting kicked away. The Winter Soldier then stared Y/n down after he slid across as Y/n stares back with a hint of hatred and slight hope. 

Meanwhile, all the insight carriers have reached their designated altitude.

Soldier: "We have reached 3,000 feet, satellite coming on now"

Lieutenant: "Deploy algorithm"

Another window opened on the soldier's screen as it began scanning the radius that the satellites covered. 

Soldier: "Algorithm deployed"

Insight: "We are a go for target"

The satellites began marking all the targets listed on the algorithm, spanning from all across Washington to even Manhattan. Several million marks later, the satellites had finally marked all targets from the Algorithm. 

Soldier: "Target Saturation, reached. All targets assigned"

Lieutenant: "Fire when ready"

The Helicarrier's underside weapons began winding up as they lock onto their targets.

Soldier: "Firing in 3..."

Steve pushes through the pain and crawls up the console with the data blade in hand.

Soldier: "2..."

Steve reaches towards the data racks as the data blade inch close and closer to the port.

Soldier: "1..."

With one final push, Steve manages to place the data blade onto the rack, successfully overriding HYDRA's controls and coverts it to S.H.I.E.L.D's confusing the HYDRA Lieutenants. 

Lieutenants: "Where are the targets? WHERE ARE THE TARGETS!!?"

Maria: "Alright, Cap get out of there!"

Back down on the glass dome, Y/n reached for his mask and pulled it up to show his face to the Winter Soldier.

Y/n: "I just have to ask you one question, on August 16, 1997; you killed 2 HYDRA defectors to prevent them from spilling HYDRA's secret plan"

Winter Soldier: "I might've, so what?"

Y/n: "I have to know, Do you still remember them? Their names? or even their last words?"

Winter Soldier: *shrug* "Can't say I do, all I remember were the agonizing screams and their pleads for mercy"

Y/n's eyes widened in shock by the Winter Soldier's bluntness, before his eyes started to look dead as he hung his head. Thinking that he had broken him, The Winter Soldier went to move past Y/n and make his way to Steve, only to abruptly stop when Y/n starts chuckling before slowly transforming into laughter. 

Y/n: "hehehe...hahaha...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

Winter Soldier: "What the hell is so funny to you?"

Y/n: "Ahhh...Thank you, 'Bucky'. For whisking away the remaining mercy I that I cling for you"

Winter Soldier: "Who said I needed it anyways"

Y/n: "Oh, you're gonna wish you did. Because I'm gonna kill you now, very...VERY...Painfully"

Steve: *comms* "Fire now"

Maria: "But Steve-"

Steve: *comms* "Do it! Do it now!"

Complying with Steve's demands, Maria accessed the targeting system of Insight and marked the 3 Helicarriers as targets. The entire artillery of the Helicarriers quickly changed targets and points their weaponry at each other before opening fire.

Amidst the explosions and rumbling, Y/n and the Winter Soldier went to a brawl of their own. Y/n went on the offensive with unrelenting Fury and accurate precision as The Winter Soldier tries to defend against Y/n's attacks. 

Y/n then went of a back kick to the side of the Winter Soldier's head, sending him to his knee. The pain in Y/n's injured leg subsided and started to feel numb. 

The Winter Soldier then pulls out a knife from his belt and went to swipe at Y/n, he manages to dodge the strike and grabs the extended arm before tripping the Winter Soldier. Y/n then maneuvers around, forcibly bending the Winter Soldier's normal arm where he held the knife and forces the knife down on the Winter Soldier.

He went to resist Y/n's attempt by punching him in the face with his metal arm, breaking apart his mask's lenses, and tearing up the top part of the mask before adding the strength of his metal arm to push the knife back, but that's when Y/n pressed down with all his strength and body mass, pushing the knife past the knife and stabbing the Winter Soldier in the soldier as he groans out in pain. 

Y/n then pulls out the knife as the Winter Soldier held onto the stab wound with his metal arm.

Y/n: "Get up...I'm not done with you yet"

Y/n then threw the knife down close to the Winter Soldier's face, unknowingly making a small hole onto the glass beneath them. The Winter Soldier grabbed the knife and pulled it off the glass before standing up and going into a CQB knife stance. 

The Winter Soldier swiped his knife at Y/n three times as he aimed for his head, chest, and arms before going for a thrust. Y/n manages to avoid the three strikes and redirects his thrust to the side, he then slipped his hand under the WInter Soldier's extended arm before punching him directly in the nose, dazing him and forcing him to drop the knife in his hands. 

The next thing he knew, he was forced down on his knees and in another arm lock as he feels his neck getting crushed. 

As Y/n and The Winter Soldier fought, one of the Insight Helicarriers was being shot down. A spectacle to behold in Pierce's office but not so much to Pierce himself.

Pierce: *mutter* "What a waste"

Natasha: "So you're still on the fence about Roger's chances?"

Grabbing the gun on his desk, Pierce equips himself as he takes Natasha hostage.

Pierce: "Time to go, Councilwoman. You and your pilot can fly me out of here"

Nick: *looks around* "Where is Chris?"

Chris: "On your Left"

A gunshot followed soon after as Nick, Natasha and Pierce all looked to the left and saw Chris with a smoking gun. Pierce went to press a button on his phone but immediately felt pain in his chest, he looks down and see that his suit is slowly turning red straight from the middle. 

Pierce: "Oh, poop..."

Chris then unloaded 3 more rounds into Pierce's chest, each shot forces him back until the final shot sends him flying back into the large panel in his office. Witnessing his now fallen former comrade, Nick went over to Pierce before crouching down next to him. 

Nick: "You know, there was a time where I would've taken a bullet for you but this ain't that time"

Pierce: *looks at Nick and mutters* "Hail...HYDRA"

Natasha snapped out of her surprised state and looked over at Chris who holsters his pistol.

Natasha: "Thanks for that"

Chris: *shrug* "No worries, just goes to show how being quiet can make you invisible. You should learn a thing or two from me"

Natasha: "I'll keep that in mind"

Nick: "Let's get the hell out of here. Chris, you're flying"

Chris: "Yes sir!"

The trio then readied up before leaving the office and boarding the helicopter.

Back in the air, the Insight Hellicarrier 3 was shot out of the air and is now falling towards the S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters by the conference room where Krista is seen punching Rumlow across the face before kicking him in the crotch.

Brock snarls before grabbing Krista's shoulder, keeping her in place as he threw a punch across her face before grabbing her by the back of her suit collar and tossing her across a few desks, shattering through their glass separators before he hops onto the desk and looks down on Krista.

Brock: "You're out of your depth, kid"

Krista looks over at Brock before spotting the falling Helicarrier behind him.

Krista: "And you're outta luck"

Brock: "huh?"

Krista then jumped to her feet before booking it as far away from Brock as possible while he watched in confusion, that was until he heard the windows shattering behind him that prompts him to turn around and finally notices the Helicarrier about to fall on him.

Brock: "Sonuva bitch!"

Brock then jumps down from the desk and went running, but due to his late start, he couldn't outrun the falling ruble as he was soon crushed by a pillar. Krista however continues to run, not even bothering to look back.

Krista: "Chris, that helicopter better be in the air!'

Natasha: *comms* "Spider-girl, where are you!?"

Krista looks back and saw the ruble slowly catching up to her, thinking of a way to get an on the fly boost, Krista infused her legs with Negative energy and sends a mini shockwave under her feet as she runs, making her light on her feet as she increases her forward momentum.

Krista: "41st floor, Northwest corner!"

Krista saw a pillar about to fall on her, prompting her to slide to get past the pillar before continuing to run.

Natasha: *comms* "We're on it, stay where you are!"

Krista: "NOT AN OPTION!!"

Just outside the headquarters, Chris and Nick were piloting their helicopter with Natasha and Sam in the passenger seats behind them as they flew towards the rapidly crumbling building as they hovered over what they assumed to be the 41st floor.

The ruble behind Krista is slowly creeping up to her as she's slowly lost more and more ground to run on, thankfully another window is just a few feet away. Krista sets her power to overdrive as she outpaced the ruble before jumping out of the building, crashing through the window. 

Chris then whipped the joystick to the side, causing the entire helicopter to tilt over and catch Krista as she falls a few stories above the stated floor.  Krista rapidly falls into the helicopter, nearly falling through if it weren't for Sam and Natasha catching her before she does as Chris and Nick reorients the helicopter.

Krista: "41ST FLOOR! 41ST!!!"

Nick: "Not like they put the floor number on the outside of the building"

Krista: *pant* "Oh, screw you. I nearly died!"

Natasha: *comms* "Hill, Where's Steve and Spidey? You got a location on those two?"

The helicopter then flew under the falling Hellicarrier flew past Y/n's silhouette as he still has The Winter Soldier in a chokehold, slowly his entire face starts to go red as Y/n slowly crushes his neck forcing The Winter Soldier to look around and find a way out of his predicament. 

He soon finds his discarded pistol laying on the metal frame in between the glass which Y/n failed to notice as he's being blinded by his rage, adding more pressure on his hold as he was about to snap The Winter Soldier's neck.

Steve: "Spidey! Don't!"

It took Steve to call out to Y/n to snap him out of his trance, when he finally regained his senses he quickly drops his hold on the Winter Soldier's neck as he quickly hunched over panting for air.

Shocked by his actions, Y/n looks down in his hands that nearly took someone's life in a blind rage. He looks back up and saw Steve leaning over the railing with a relieved expression only to drop to shock.

Steve: "Look out!"

Turning around, Y/n saw the Winter soldier standing on the metal frame as he aimed his pistol at Y/n, but as he went to pull the trigger, a scaffolding falls onto the Winter Soldier causing him to miss his shot. The bullet then flew to Y/n's feet and hit the cracked glass under him sending him falling straight down to the land, right as the scaffolding falls onto the WInter Soldier, crushing him. 

And just as he falls through the glass, Y/n remembered a vivid scream of a name that quickly changed his perspective. FOREVER.

Steve: "Bucky!!!"

From then on Y/n's world faded to black, suit tattered by the fight as well as the fight he endured for the fate of the world. His mind still replaying in his head as Steve's voice calls out to someone else.

Bucky...Bucky...Bucky...

Y/n: (Who the hell was 'Bucky'?) 

Splash!

[Y/n POV] 

I see a dark void as if the whole world was stripped away of its light and only left eternal darkness. I then heard beeping coming from my left as the former dark world slowly come to light, it was then I realized that I had my eyes closed the entire time. 

I blinked away my drowsiness as my eyes adjust to the light of my surroundings, once my sight returned to normal I got a good look around and saw that I was in a hospital room with a hospital gown covering my body?

Y/n: "Where did my suit go?"

???: "Good to see you awake, Sleeping beauty"

I turn to the voice, and right by the door, I saw Natasha leaning by the doorframe with Krista, both of them smirking before finally walking up to me.

Natasha: "I didn't know you had a well-built body, Spider...or should I say Y/n L/n?"

Y/n: "You want a microphone to announce that?"

I went to go sit up but I felt my entire body ache, forcing me to lay back down.

Krista: "I wouldn't move around if I were you, looked like you were hurt pretty bad"

Y/n: "Life has thrown worse pain, nothing hurts me anymore"

Natasha: "Wow...so finally finishing off your edgy phase?"

Y/n: "It's not a phase...*mutter* It's a lifestyle"

Natasha: "So you finally come around?"

Y/n: "Fuck you, Natalia"

I then looked to the right and saw the TV giving a news report about the insight carriers crashing onto the S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters. 

Y/n: "So...We won right?"

Krista: "Bet your ass we did"

Y/n: "Cool.....I'm craving for some cheeseburgers, is anybody else having that craving or just me?"

Natasha: "Well you're gonna have to stick with the food of the hospital until you're released"

Y/n: "No, not prison food"

Natasha: *giggle* "I'm gonna get ready for the press con that's coming. Get well, Y/n L/n"

Y/n: "Yeah, good luck Natalia Alianonva"

Natasha then runs a hand through Y/n's hair before walking out of the hospital room, leaving Y/n alone with Krista.

Y/n: "...We're definitely sneaking out of here, right?"

Krista: "Ohh, Totaly. Come on"

Krista then shoved my agent Spider suit to my chest before making her way to the window.

Y/n: "So what you just gonna swing around with your civilian clothes?"

Krista then turns to me and lifted her shirt to reveal her Spider-girl outfit underneath. 

Y/n: "For a second I thought you were gonna flash me"

Krista: "Just suit up, pervert"

Y/n: "Fine..."

After pushing myself to my feet, I slowly slip on my suit making sure not to tear up the holes even further before donning my beat-up mask where I completely tore off the top mask to let my hair flow freely. 

When we were all suited up we went over to the hospital window before jumping out and swinging away. 

(Timeskip)

Peter: "So, there's no more S.H.I.E.L.D?"

Y/n: "Yep, with all the secrets of S.H.I.E.L.D on the internet it'll only be a matter of time before all of HYDRA would be gone. For real this time"

After making a full recovery Peter and I are by a small trash bin fire as he overlooks the amber flame.

Peter: "But what about your profile on S.H.I.E.L.D as Agent Spider? Won't that be revealed to the public who you are?"

Y/n: "Thankfully no, Nick decided to go old school for my file, which he burned along with the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D's files. Speaking off..."

Looking down in my hands, I clutch onto my Agent Spider suit that's in my hands before looking back to the fire.

Peter: "Do you have to destroy that suit? Maybe we could salvage some of its parts"

Y/n: "There are no parts to be salvaged Peter, it's just a spandex suit"

I then tossed the suit along with the mask into the fire and watch as the fire engulfs the suit and reduces it to cinders, destroying the last connection I have to S.H.I.E.L.D. Once the suit was destroyed, Peter and I boarded the train to school and went to do our normal routine.

Peter: "Whatever happened to the Winter Soldier that you were after?"

Y/n: "Steve said he's gone. Never be seen again"

Peter: "So it's all over? Finally got your closure?"

Y/n: "...I guess"

After we grabbed our books, we shut out lockers before making our way to class.

Peter: "It's weird, feels like I'm forgetting something"

Student: "Wait, is that for real!?"

Student: "Someone's painting a mural on the main building"

Peter looked at me curiously.

Y/n: "It can't be me, I'm standing right here"

We then followed the crowd of students as they made their way outside the campus and look up at the main building, and just as they said, someone is making a mural of me, this time painting me in a positive light as the person painting it was none other than Krista.

The mural shows me in a holy light as the three tags from before are seen being burned by the light. Once she has done the final adjustments, she tossed the spray can aside before turning around and spots the crowd she had cultivated herself.

Krista: "Y/n!"

Krista waved over to me, leading to all eyes to change from her to me. She then drops down from her vantage point before enveloping me in a hug. 

Y/n: *whisper* "What are you doing?"

Krista: *whisper* "I thought I might clear up your name before heading out"

Y/n: *looks around* "Well, it seems like it's working"

Krista: *aloud* "Listen up, everyone! Y/n is an upstanding guy, he's selfless and kind to those he cherish. I was just too blind to see it. I'm sorry, Y/n I hope you would forgive me"

Y/n: *scoff* "Apology accepted"

Student: "Weren't you that girl back in Washington?"

Krista: "Why, of course"

Student #2: "Why the sudden change?"

Student #3: "Is he blackmailing you to say these things?"

Krista: "No, we were...just going through a rough patch is all, but I'm glad we finally cleared all that up"

Krista then pecked me in the cheek before heading off and waving goodbye, once the scene has subsided, the students dispersed into their own business.

Peter: "Well...everything seems to go back to normal"

Y/n: "Yep, just the way it should be"

Peter and I did our signature handshake before heading to our classes.

Whooo!!! Congratulations, you made it. Sorry for the long finale, the fight scenes are to blame for that. 

Looks like Y/n had the closure he didn't thought he'd need but here it was, let me know what you guys think as we slowly reach Phase 3.
