Citizens are gathered in manhattan, people exiting their vehicles and looking up towards a building of a genius billionaire playboy, The STARK Tower. People are taking photos of a new contraption being built above the tower thinking it was a new STARK invention.

At the top of STARK tower, however, we see The Lizard perched atop the contraption as Peter makes a few move adjustments to his invention. He coughed into his sleeve, his condition growing worse, his skin is starting to pale with green veins bulging out from his neck, his eyes and reddened with large bags under his eyelids.

Lizard: "Once my invention is complete, this city will turn into Lizards, and soon it will be The Lizard Kingdom, with me as its ruler!!"

Peter: *cough* "Any time now would be nice, Y/n"

Back with Y/n, He along with his parents are standing around the living room. The room is met with silence as Gwen winces in the situation inside but decides to see what Y/n had planned.

Mrs. L/n: "So you're telling us that you're from another dimension?"

Y/n: "Yes, it looks exactly like this one but a bit different entirely. I'm from a dimension where I am Spider-man and right now MY Peter is in danger and needs my help so I have to get-"

D/n and M/n then chuckled, confusing Y/n before slowly settling down and giving Y/n an understanding look.

Mr. L/n: "Alright Y/n, You can stay over at Gwen's for a few days we'll allow it"

Y/n: "Wait, what?"

Mrs. L/n: "Dear, You don't need to think of some elaborate situation to hang out with Gwen. You two can hang out and visit Peter as much as you want"

Y/n: "No, No, No You don't get it"

Mr. L/n: "Got to say, you almost got us there, son"

Y/n: "No, this isn't some elaborate prank-"

Mrs. L/n: "I nearly fell for that one"

Y/n: "This is serious"

Mr. L/n: "Yes, of course. You're both still young and you deserve to be together as much as you can"

Gwen was about to step in and clear up the situation but stopped when she saw Y/n's hand shaking as he clenches his hand tightly.

Y/n "Y/n is dead!!"

His sudden outburst shocked everyone in the room, the cheery atmosphere of the L/n's wiped away as Gwen placed a hand over her mouth in shock. He then looked around and saw a newspaper about an accident about a high school teenager, Y/n quickly grabbed the paper and showed it in front of them.

Y/n: "This! This is what happened to your son!"

Mr. L/n: "But that can't be...You're standing right in front of us"

Y/n: "You think I could survive getting hit by a large semi-truck going 30 miles per hour? That isn't possible"

Mrs. L/n: "So it means you really are from another dimension?"

Y/n: *sigh* "I know it's a lot to take in, but in my dimension back when you both are still world-renowned scientists, you've researched about the multiverse theory and found out that it exists"

Mr. L/n: "We did?"

Y/n: "Yes, this is the proof! I...am the proof"

He gestured to his dimension hopper before gesturing to himself. D/n then looked over Y/n's wrist and looked at his contraption intrigued.

Mr. L/n: "That device, what is it?"

Y/n: "It's a prototype from the blueprint you left behind. I never really got to meet you two in my dimension."

M/n felt saddened at Y/n's state and went over and hug him as D/n went over and move the couch to reveal a secret compartment. He opened it and pulled out a small motherboard contraption with a button attachment.

Y/n: "What's that?"

Mr. L/n: "It's an invention of ours. Our last project as scientists before starting a new project as a family"

Mrs. L/n: "We thought we'd never make a breakthrough in our research so we decided to scrap it entirely"

Y/n: "Uhuh...wait what?"

Mr. L/n: "We were also tasked in researching the multiverse theory, we hoped that one day you might continue our work if you so wished. I guess in a way you already are"

He then handed their project over to Y/n. He inspects it further before looking at his dimension hopper. Hatching an idea, Y/n did some quick tinkering, opening up his dimension hopper and adding the L/n's contraption to his own. Once he connected it successfully, he closed his device and attaches the button at the side of his forefinger.

Y/n then ran a quick diagnostic test and found no abnormalities but found it had improved.

Y/n: "Woah~"

Mrs. L/n: "Is everything alright?"

Y/n: "It's better than alright, the device you gave me upgraded the dimensional accelerator"

He looked over and saw his parents along with Gwen dumbfounded and confused.

Y/n: "Basically I could jump through dimensions instantaneously"

Mr. L/n: "Oh, of course. That's what you meant. I'm glad we could help, son"

Y/n: "You've both done more than help, you both gave me a chance to what it felt like being family...So, thank you. Mom and Dad" 

Y/n then finished his diagnostics and boot up his dimension hopper.

Y/n: "Well...I better get going"

Mr. L/n: "Wait, can you give us one last favor?"

Y/n: "Of course, what is it?"

D/n and M/n went over to Y/n and gave him one last hug as they both cried on his shoulder.

Mr. L/n: "We're so proud of what you've become son"

Mrs. L/n: "We're sorry we couldn't be there for you growing up but we are happy with the man you've become even without our guidance"

Y/n stood in the hug shocked, speechless to the situation he found himself in. Soon he mustered the courage to reach over and hug them back, shedding a few tears of his own in appreciation to his parents.

Y/n: "Thank you...those are the words I'd never thought I'd hear...Thank you"

D/n then pats Y/n in the back one more time before pulling back and giving him a proud smile.

Mr. L/n: "Now go be the best Spider-man out there"

Y/n: *nod* "I will, I won't let you down"

Mrs. L/n: "We know you won't, You're a L/n we're proud of you no matter what"

Y/n smiled before leaving, he stopped by Gwen and gave her a quick kiss.

Y/n: "I'll see you soon, 'kay"

Gwen: "You better"

Y/n then stepped out into the night streets of Queens, he looked back one last time to see his parents and Gwen see him off. He donned his mask before giving them a two-finger salute before zipping to a street lamp and launching himself into the air before swinging off.

Y/n: "Alright, let's see what this new upgrade can do"

Y/n picked up his momentum before swinging to the very peak, he stalled in the air and performed a moonsault. He then pressed the button to his dimension hopper and watched as his environment quickly change, the urban streets of Queens turned into a futuristic dystopia.

Y/n noticed a truck flew above him, he web-zipped towards it and stuck under the vehicle, and hitched a ride. Once he saw the sign for manhattan, Y/n crawled to the truck side before jumping off and taking a nose dive to the futuristic city. 

He swerves through the air traffic, weaving through a few flying cars as he does. When he was about to hit a car, Y/n immediately activated his dimension hopper to go to another dimension, this time in a wasteland version of manhattan.

He quickly shot a web to a building and began swinging around, looking around a few burning buildings before swinging up and jumping another dimension to run the side of a billboard that said "Jameson for Mayor" before jumping on top of a train. 

Y/n ran to the front before jumping off and jumping dimensions one last time and swinging on a crane to land on a side of a business building, where looked at the reflection of himself as well as manhattan.

Y/n: "It worked like a charm, I'm back"

Y/n felt his phone buzz uncontrollably, he reached his suit's pockets and check his phone and see his social media and see people posting a strange device above STARK tower. 

Y/n: "At least I know where I'm gonna go. *sigh* Alright Y/n, time to be a Hero"
