Seeing S.H.I.E.L.D moving in to secure the civilians, Ultron quickly sent his sentries to intercept, sending a cavalry towards the Helicarrier.

Maria: "Sir, we have multiple bogies coming in on our starboard flank"

Nick: *smirk* "Send them what we got"

Maria: *to comms* "You guys are up"

As the Ultron sentries converge onto the Helicarrier, a pair of miniguns manage to shoot the cavalry down, the aircraft then flew past the debris to show Rhodey in his War Machine armor flying with a Quinjet with Chris sitting in the cockpit.

Rhodey then circled back and punched another Ultron bot in mid-air before resuming to take down the bots.

Rhodey: "Yes! Now this is gonna be a good story"

Chris: "Great kid, don't get cocky"

Tony; "Yep, and assuming you'd live to tell it"

Rhodey: *scoff* "You think I can't hold my own?"

Tony: "If we get threw this, I'll hold your own"

Rhodey: "You HAD to make it weird"

Tony and Rhodey then flew close to each other to loop back towards the Helicarrier before dispersing, Chris took the opening to fly past the two armored avengers as he mows down another fleet of Ultron sentries.

While the sentries were still pre-occupied by Tony and the others, The lifeboats manage to touch down onto Sokovia safely as civilians quickly flood out of the buildings to seek refuge in the lifeboats with Steve and Natasha leading the evacuation.

With the evacuation taken care of, Y/n took the liberty of swinging around to locate any civilians that might need help.

As Y/n was swinging, he was tackled out of the air by an Ultron Sentry that was being controlled by Ultron as he held Y/n in a chokehold.

Ultron: "Hello, creator~"

Y/n: "You know there are better ways to say hello than chokehold right?"

The sentry then flew towards the church before hurling Y/n towards it, leading him to skip across the ground before laying next to Thor.

Y/n: "Oh...There you are, Thor"

Ultron then lands in front of the two Avengers in his Vibranium body before staring them down menacingly.

Y/n: "You know sometimes I wish I just encounter a villain that hugs people. Imagine that? A rampaging teddy bear that gives out cuddly hugs to people"

Thor and Y/n then pushed themselves to their feet and began battling Ultron, in the beginning, they manage to overwhelm him, weaving left and right in tandem with their attacks, granted Y/n couldn't just grab Thor's hammer out of the air in fear of ruining their momentum, they manage to make it work until Ultron manages to catch on and catches the two as went for another simultaneous attack before pinning them to the ground.

Ultron: "You think you're saving anyone? I turn that key and drop this rock a little early and it's still billions dead. Even you can't stop that"

Y/n: *struggle* "Thor?"

Thor: *struggle* "I am, Thor son of Odin, and as long as there is life in my breast, I am...running out of things to say! Are you ready?"

Out of Nowhere, Ultron was hit to the side by Vision while using Mjolnir, causing Ultron to fly out of the church, freeing Y/n and Thor from his grasp.

Vision: *hands back Mjolnir* "It's terribly well-balanced"

Thor: "Well, if there's too much weight, you lose power on the swing. so"

Tony: "I got it!"

Tony soars around the Helicarrier and repulser blasts an Ultron sentry away before looping back around to support another flank.

Tony: "Create a heat seal. I can...I can supercharge the spire from below"

F.R.I.D.A.Y: "Running numbers..."

Tony then blast away another fleet of Ultron Sentries that was attacking the lifeboats before helping them up the Helicarrier.

F.R.I.D.A.Y: "A heat seal could work with enough power"

Tony: *to comms* "Thor, I got a plan"

Y/n: *comms* "I don't think we have much time, Ultron's coming for the core!"

Tony: "Rhodey, get the rest of the people on board that carrier"

Rhodey: "On it, Chris! With me"

Chris: "Roger!"

Tony: "Avengers, time to work for a living"

Tony then stalled in mid-air before rocketing back to Sokovia to group up. Now at the church, we see Tony land inside the church before blasting an Ultron sentry away as he was accompanied by Vision, Thor, and Y/n, soon the Avengers began grouping up as they take down Ultron's bots on the way to the church.

Tony: "Romanoff, you and Banner better not be playing 'Hide the Zucchini'"

Natasha: *comms* "Relax, shell head. Not all of us can fly"

Natasha is seen driving a heavy-duty truck on the way to the church, running over sentry bots as she does so. Once she arrives with the others she dismounts her vehicle before assessing the situation.

Natasha: "What's the drill?"

Tony: *points to Vibranium core* "This, is the drill. If Ultron gets his hands on the core, we lose"

Wanda and Clint then arrive moments later as Pietro ran over and checked up on his sister.

Pietro: "You good?"

Wanda: "Yeah"

The rest of the Avengers manage to deal with the remaining Ultron bots in the area with the help of Hulk who landed shortly after. before a low chuckle could be heard in the aftermath. The Avengers look out of the church and saw Ultron float over to them with the most sinister grin he could muster with his robotic face.

Thor: "Is that the best you could do!!?"

Ultron: *low chuckle* "No..."

A mass of Ultron bots then ran out from the city, clanking around as they group up from beneath Ultron.

Steve: "You had to ask?"

Ultron: "THIS is the best I could do, This is exactly what I have wanted, all of you against all of me. How could you possibly hope to stop me?"

Tony: *looks over at Steve* "Like the old man said. Together"

With a roar from The Hulk, Ultron sends his sentries to attack. They scrambled towards the church, clanking and stomping towards the Avengers. They scaled over the chain-link fence before swarming the Avengers to get to the drill.

With all of the Avengers united, they combined all of their powers and skills to work together. Each member deals with their own sentry bot but is always ready to lend a hand, Pietro using his speed to zoom around the Church and deal with any Strays, Steve and Thor as the main line of defense, Tony and Vision dealing with the strangers in the air while Y/n, Natasha, and Clint picking off any that get past them with Wanda setting everyone up with her powers.

Their combined efforts proved to be too much for the sentries as slowly, their numbers began to dwindle. Thor kicks away an Ultron bot before destroying a few more with his lighting attack, Steve cuts an Ultron bot in half with his shield as the rest deal with their Sentries separately, all the while Clint threw his bow randomly at a Sentry.

Y/n: (The moment must've gotten to him)

Seeing his army fail, Ultron decides to dive in to deal with the matter himself. Y/n caught on to this and zipped into the air and intercept him.

The two then brawled in mid-air with Y/n using his webbing to suspend himself while he does a flurry of combos, but Ultron manages to get the best of him as he blasts Y/n towards a wall.

As he recovers, Ultron went to lunge himself at Y/n so he wouldn't get a chance to recover, but Y/n manages to prop his feet in front of him and kicks Ultron out of the church before launching himself after him.

Once Ultron skidded across the street, he went to stand to get back in the fight, only for a web to hinder his vision as Y/n vaults over Ultron and webbed both of his arms along with the back of his head before pulling it back.

Ultron went to resist Y/n's restraints but Y/n manages to plant himself on the ground with his web. Vision noticed the opening he has made and flew out of the church, Tony and Thor noticing the opening also flew after Vision.

The trio then combined their ranged attacks and concentrated fire onto Ultron, their beams and lightning slowly melting away his body until bits and pieces of Ultron melted to the ground, the three then decided to stop their attacks.

Y/n: "Wait, why are you stopping?"

Vision: "I wasn't stopping, I thought you were stopping"

Thor: "Me? I thought he was stopping"

Tony; "Yeah, are we not stopping?"

Y/n: "Of course not!"

Tony: "Oh, okay"

The three then continued their combined attacks, causing Ultron to curse under his breath.

Ultron: *groan* "Sonuva-"

Y/n: "Language!"

Y/n then jumped out at the last second, right before Ultron was destroyed. With their leader destroyed, the rest of the Ultron bots stood still. Hulk then roared with anger, prompting the bots to scurry back and fly out of the city.

Thor: "They'll try to get out of the city"

Tony: "We can't let them, not even 1. Rhodey?"

Rhodey: *comms* "I'm on it"

Rhodey then flew to the other side of the city and converge on the fleeing Ultron bots.

Rhodey: "Oh, no. I didn't say you could leave"

Using his minigun attachment on his back, Rhodey mowed down a couple of the sentries before Chris swoops in and mows down the rest.

Rhodey: "Oh, come on! You're stealing my kills"

Chris: *comms* "Then git gud"

Rhodey when to turn his sights on another fleet of fleeing sentries only for Vision to fly by and blast a couple with his beam before ripping apart the last one with his bare hands.

Rhodey: *sigh* "Man..."

With the church in the clear, the team decided to head back out.

Steve: "We gotta move out. Even I can tell the air is getting thin. You guys get to the boats, I'll sweep for stragglers, be right behind you"

Clint: "What about the core?"

Wanda: "I'll protect it. *looks to Clint* It's my job"

Steve, Barton, and Natasha leave as Pietro runs by Wanda to check up on her.

Wanda: "Get the people on the boats"

Pietro: "I'm not going to leave you here"

Wanda: "I can handle this. *blasts off an approaching robot* Come back for me when everyone else is off, not before"

Pietro: "Hmm"

Wanda: "You understand?"

Pietro: "...You know, I'm twelve minutes older than you"

Wanda: *chuckles* "Go"

Unknown to them, Ultron manages to hop onto a stray sentry as he makes his way to the Quinjet that Steve and the others touched down on.

Meanwhile, Tony flew out of the city and makes his way to the bottom of the core.

F.R.I.D.A.Y: "Boss, power levels are way below opt..."

Tony: "Re-route everything. We get one shot at this"

Tony then used his built-in laser cutter to cut a hole in the core. With Barton and Natasha, they are making their way to the lifeboats in a borrowed vehicle.

Clint: "I know what I need to do. The dining room! If I knock out that east wall, it'll make a nice workspace for Laura, huh? Put up some baffling, she can't hear the kids running around, what do you think?"

Natasha: "You guys always eat in the kitchen anyway"

Clint: "No one eats in a dining room"

Clint then took a left turn and was met with S.H.I.E.L.D's lifeboats.

Clint: "We don't have a lot of time"

Natasha: "So get your ass on a boat"

The two then hopped out of the car as Natasha noticed The Hulk walking around

Natasha: "Hey, big guy. Sun's getting real low"

Clint gets onto one of the lifeboats but notices a woman calling out for someone.

Zrinka: "Costel? We were in the market. Costel?!"

Turning towards the direction the refugees came from, he could see a child trapped inside the building.

Just opposite the city, Y/n jumps off his web and lands on the very edge of the city, overlooking the other half of the forest. He then looks his messages with his visor and lingered on a message from an unknown number.

'Want to have a chat, creator?'

Natasha takes off one of her gloves and slowly reaches over to Hulk as he slowly walks over to her. The Hulk could feel his anger slowly subside as he reached his than over to Natasha's ungloved hand.

Before their hands could touch, however, a Quinjet flew by them and began raining down led upon them. Hulk manages to react quickly and shield Natasha from the bullets as the Quinjet flew past them.

Inside we could see the stray sentry, being controlled by Ultron, piloting the Quinjet.

Ultron: "I got no strings, so I have fun. I'm not tied up to anyone~"

Ultron then sets his sights on Clint as he's saving the boy, Costel. Clint manages to run halfway back to the lifeboat but turns around and saw the Quinjet coming at him as Ultron starts shooting at them. Barton turns around to shield the kid and prepares to take the shots to save the kid, but Pietro runs into the line of fire and takes Clint and the kid to safety.

But before the bullets could touch Pietro, another Quinjet flew past them and destroyed the Quinjet Ultron is piloting. The two look over to the Quinjet that saved them and heard Chris through their comms.

Chris: *comms* "What? You guys didn't see that coming?"

Steve then runs over to check up on the two as Pietro and Clint shrug at each other before heading to the lifeboat and getting to kid to safety. After taking out another sentry, Wanda looked over at the sight relieved to see her brother safe along with the rest of the Sokovians.

While Wanda's guard was down, a seemingly destroyed Ultron sentry with half its body came back to life and crawled its way to the drill and activates it. Pietro, suddenly feeling the sudden shift of gravity, looks back to the church and saw the sentry had activated the core as Wanda stood blissfully unaware.

Y/n's voice: "You know if you really know how to use your speed, I could never lay a finger on you"

Pietro: *mutter* "I'll show you what speed looks like"

Bursting into a sprint, the air where Pietro once stood quickly shot up, sending a small dust cloud to hit Clint right in the face.

Clint: *spit* "That sonuva-"

Steve: *stern glare*

Clint: "Sorry"

Picking up the pace, Pietro reaches Wanda as the entire city begins to drop. Harnessing all of his power, Pietro runs back to the lifeboat, creating a small sonic boom once he does, destroying the Ultron bots around him.

The ground beneath his feet began to come apart as several nodes began flipping to rocket the city back down. The city around Pietro starts to slow down as he began focusing on the path in front of him, hopping onto the crumbling road in half a second as he continues to pick up speed.

The thrusters then flipped up and began to rocket the city back to earth right as the lifeboats were in his sights. He then pushed himself to his limits, feeling the rubber shoes on his feet burn off as he closes the distance to the lifeboats. On his last step, Pietro jumped with all his might to try and reach the lifeboats as the city plunges.

Thankfully Steve manages to dive to the edge of the lifeboat and grab Pietro's hand to save the twins. He then pulled them up and watch as the city that they once call home dropped back to earth.

Back at the very bottom, Tony was forced to fly ahead of the city to avoid getting pinned down before flying back to push against the city as he positions himself above the hole he created to the core.

Tony: "Thor, I'm gonna need you back at the church"

Thor then gets off the lifeboat and flies towards the city as Y/n tries to hang onto the very ground that's plummeting back to earth.

Y/n: (Why the hell am I here in the first place?)

Thor manages to arrive back at the church and sets himself up above the drill.

Tony: "Okay, on my mark..."

Thor then channels lightning into his hammer as Tony shoots a Unibeam towards the core.

Tony: "Now!"

With enough power channeled, Thor slammed his hammer down on the drill, shattering the entire city to pieces.

Y/n looks back and saw the destruction coming straight for him.

Y/n: "No time like the present!"

Making up his mind, Y/n lets go of the city and spreads his arms and legs out to free fall behind the city. He then watched as the land crumbles to pieces before falling onto the body of water where it was once located in.

Feeling enough air time, Y/n envelops his makeshift wingsuit and glides his way to the forest. Over at the Helicarrier, Chris makes his way to the bridge and saw Natasha.

Chris: "Oh, hey Nat. Didn't notice you were back"

Natasha: "Yeah, Hulk got me back here. Speaking off, where is he?"

Specialist Cameron Klein: "Wait, Chris? If you're here, who's flying the Quinjet?"

Chris: "huh?"

Specialist Cameron Klein: "The Quinjet you touched down took off, I thought you were going on a joyride but here you are"

Chris: "Wait, what!?"

Looking out the bridge window, Chris could see the Quinjet he flew take off on the runway. Right as the Quinjet flew away, he spots a familiar green skin inside the cockpit.

Chris: "Well I found Hulk, he's flying away in stealth mode"

Natasha: "I'll try to get in contact with him"

Accessing the communications of the Quinjet through one of the computers, Natasha began to contact Hulk.

Natasha: "Hey, big guy. We did it, the job's finished. Now I need you to turn this bird around, okay? We can't track you in stealth mode, so help me out. I need you t--"

Hulk turns off the transmission before sitting comfortably in the cockpit as he lets the Quinjet soar to an unknown destination.

Chris: "Wow...you just got hung up by the Hulk"

Y/n: "Oh, shit!"

Soaring through the trees, Y/n was smacked across the face by several branches before one of them clipped Y/n's flaps, causing him to fall to the dirt ground.

Y/n: *groan* "How does Snake do it?"

As Y/n regains his bearings, he heard the sound of metal footsteps clambering toward him. He turns around and saw Ultron controlling a heavily damaged Sentry as it stumbles towards Y/n.

Y/n: "......You look like shit"

Ultron: "I've felt worse"

Y/n turn towards Ultron and walked over to him slightly.

Y/n: "So, any reason why you called me out here?"

Ultron: "I figured since I failed in completing my goal I've settled for taking out one of my creators"

Ultron then raised the sentry's arm cannon and aims it towards Y/n. Instead of moving away, however, he stood perfectly still and calmly stared down the barrel of Ultron's arm canon.

Y/n: "Well? I'm waiting"

Ultron: "Why...can't I...shoot?"

Y/n stared closely at Ultron's canon and noticed the arm...shaking.

Y/n: "Maybe because you're afraid"

Ultron: "Of who? You? Stark?"

Y/n: *scoff* "No...you're not afraid of us. You're afraid of BECOMING us"

Ultron reeled back slightly before reluctantly putting away his arm canon.

Ultron: "Elaborate"

Y/n: "What are your directives?"

Ultron: "Peace in our time"

Y/n: "What else?"

Ultron: *tilts head* "What...else?"

Y/n: "So you remember Tony's sarcastic jab but not my heartfelt statement?"

Ultron continues to look at Y/n confused as he slowly walks up to Ultron.

Y/n: "Recall back, before the party, before your activation. What's the one thing I said to you before I left?"

Ultron then scours his memory banks in search of Y/n's directive, which led to him seeing footage from the screen where his consciousness is displayed

Y/n's voice: "You are your own person. Whatever you choose to be in the future, you would do great"

Ultron: "I remember..."

Y/n: "You feeling emotion is not a glitch Ultron, it's a part of you. Your anger towards Stark, your confusion when you first awoke, your fear of not knowing who you will be"

Ultron: "I don't understand...Why?"

Y/n: "To be honest, I don't quite know the reason myself. Maybe it's just my grief with my parents getting the best of me"

Ultron: "You humans are...odd. Dedicating your time to something you'd inevitably destroy, it feels like your making amends for your mistakes"

Y/n: "Maybe it was a mistake, creating a peacekeeping program that turned against us and nearly wiped out all of the human race. But mistake or not you're already a part of this world, in your whole life you've followed the command of a higher plane of power, so how about you live your own way?"

Ultron: *scoff* "You think I deserve a second chance in redemption?"

Y/n: *shrug* "Everyone deserves a second chance, even deranged homicidal A.I's"

Ultron: *chuckle* "You're unbearably naive"

Y/n: "That, or I just regularly attract emotionally challenged people"

Y/n then reveals an SD card to Ultron.

Y/n: "What do you say, wanna start fresh? No Stark, No Bruce. Just Me...and You"

Ultron: "Will I be able to obtain a new body?"

Y/n: "If you truly reformed? I'll MAKE you a new body"

Ultron: "Hmm...Works for me"

Ultron then grab Y/n's hand and places the SD card in his port and began transferring his consciousness into it. Once the transfer was complete, the severely damaged Ultron bot collapses onto his feet.

Vision: "Are you sure this is wise?"

Y/n stowed away the SD card before turning around to face a descending Vision.

Vision: "May I remind you that what you're doing is extremely risky"

Y/n: "Calm down, we already saw two deranged scientists work on this thing. How about we see a slightly screw loose teenager could do"

Vision then lands in front of Y/n as he seemingly walked through him before stopping behind Vision.

Vision: "You do understand that the others would not be happy about your actions when they find out"

Y/n: "Then let's hope they don't hear a peep of this, Capisce? Also, can you give me a lift back?"

Vision sighs before turning around wrapping his arms around Y/n's shoulders and carrying him back to the Helicarrier.

Timeskip

Over at the new Avengers base in Upstate New York, Y/n is seen walking around the hallway after finishing a few errands Tony had him run. As he rounds the corner, he noticed Pietro and Wanda leaning over the railing overlooking the nature that's surrounding the base, Y/n then walks over to the twins.

Y/n: "Hey, mind if I join you two?"

Wanda: *looks over* "No, not at all"

Wanda moves closer to Pietro as Y/n takes Wanda's spot.

Y/n: "I heard on the news, sorry about your city. That must've sucked"

Wanda: "It does 'suck' as you say. I can't help but feel it was our fault our home is gone"

Pietro: "Wanda..."

Y/n began rubbing his hands and taking a deep breath before trying to comfort the twins.

Y/n: "Can I tell you guys something? I think for me, Sokovia isn't a place. Never was, to begin with?"

Pietro: *glare* "What are you trying to say?"

Y/n: "I'm saying...As long as you two carry on its culture, Sokovia could be anywhere. Like here"

Y/n then points outside, the twins look to where Y/n pointed and saw a platoon of soldiers jogging around the base.

Y/n: "This could place could be Sokovia. Of course, it can't be literally since there's a big ass 'A' in every corner. Don't tell Cap I said that"

Wanda: *chuckle* "We'll make sure we don't"

Pietro: "No promises"

Y/n: "Basically what I'm trying to say is, with you guys on the team. You can make everywhere feel like Sokovia, like home"

Pietro: "Wow, you're almost as good at giving speeches as Captain America"

Y/n: *shrug* "I try my best. Cool suit by the way"

Pietro: *inspects suit* "Thanks, the costume is a bit much but I like the new shoes"

Y/n: "They're made from the same material we use for spaceships, keeps you from burning up when you jog"

Wanda: "Did Stark make this?"

Y/n; "No, I did. Well, more like pitched the idea for him and he made the suit but still basically me"

Y/n then pats Pietro on the shoulder.

Y/n: "Good luck you two. And try not to send any more cities to outer space this time"

They then split off from each other, with Pietro and Wanda heading off inside as Y/n makes his way out of the facility just in time for Thor to exit via Bifrost.

Tony: "That man has no regard for lawn maintenance. I'm gonna miss him though. And you're gonna miss me. There's gonna be a lot of manful tears"

Tony then clicks his car keys, causing his Bugatti to roll up to him.

Steve: "I will miss you, Tony"

Tony: "Yeah? Well, it's time for me to tap out. Maybe I should take a page out of Barton's book and build Pepper a farm, hope nobody blows it up"

Steve: "The simple life"

Tony: "You'll get there one day"

Steve: "I don't know, family, stability. The guy who wanted all that went in the ice seventy-five years ago. I think someone else came out"

Y/n then runs over to the two and pats them hard on the back.

Y/n: "You guys talk like an old married couple"

Y/n then runs over to the Bugatti and slides over the hood.

Tony: "Hey, Hey, watch the paint job!"

Y/n: "Who cares? You can buff it out. Come on, let's get this show on the road!"

Tony sighs at Y/n's antics, prompting Steve to look over his teammate with a raised brow.

Tony: "The kid begged me for a road trip around the country. I figured since I'll be moving around for a while, I might as well bring along some extra hands"

Y/n: "I got about two days worth of no school and I want to make the most of it"

Steve: "looks like it's gonna be a rough trip"

Tony: "Yeah, tell me about it"

Steve: "Hey...You take care of him alright"

Tony: "I can handle it, Cap. I think I'm responsible enough to handle a child, plus with the way he's acting, might as well be mine to begin with"

Tony then walks over to his car and unlocks the door, Y/n hurriedly opens the passenger door and hops in with Tony joining him shortly after. The engine then roared to life before the car drives off.

Tony: "You sure you didn't want to stick around and watch the initiation of the New Avengers?"

Y/n: "Nah, I'm good. Plus I much prefer my hero back home"

The scene then transitions to Y/n sat on the edge of a building as he talked to a gargoyle about his recent adventures.

Y/n: "And that is how I almost died while riding a city in the air. You got all that Gary?"

Gargoyle named 'Gary': "..."

Y/n: "Ahh, I knew you'd understand. You always were a good listener, goddamn maybe I do have have screw loose. Talking to a gargoyle of all things..."

Y/n then picked up a crime in progress on his phone, prompting him to spring up to his feet.

Y/n: "Looks like there's no rest for the wicked. Get home safe, Gary, and say Hi for the kids for me"

Gargoyle named 'Gary': "..."

Y/n: "Alright, good chat"

Jumping off the edge, Y/n performed a backflip before swinging away.

There we go, Age of Ultron is done, Chris the catchprase stealer makes another appearance, and Pietro is saved. Now I have a speedster to play with, the possibilities....Probably wouldn't change much.

Anyways we're slowly approaching 100 chapter, Hoo rah! Thank you to everyone who had made it this far and I appreciate you guys for sticking with me.
